I placed and order and gave a deposit. I was given a delivery date that was delayed 4 times. Finally I asked for my money back (after 7 months). Because it was a brand new product and I understand that sometimes a new model may present initial problems, I decided 3 months ago to give them another chance. So far they have delayed the initial delivery date twice. I have since found a number of others who are having the same problem with the company going back 2 years.

I have had to have three heater and I have only own this sauna for last than 5 years. I call to get the third Heater in which I had to pay for and now it has been over two months waiting for the part to come to me. This company is suppose to be promoting wellness. All I am getting is stress out . There sauna are not cheap. I did not pay cash for my sauna just to have it sitting there doing nothing.

First off order a sauna from Sun lighten when we received it was damage. Call the salesman he put me over to someone but she did not help. Call back a the salesman said send him pic. So I did and I waited and waited. About three day later the Delivery company show up to fix the damage. But when talking to the driver sun lighten did not call them they just came back to make it right. Call sun lighten and they had no clue. But still have problem heating up take 1 1/2 hrs. just to get up to 120F.Have call the service people and email a just get the run around. It still not fix. I guest my next set is by the law. DO NOT BUY.

STAY AWAY FROM Sunlighten - this sales only- company lacks integrity. They are middlemen only and have no pride in their product and do not care if you actually get to use it. Having horrible time with the solo unit and RETURN PROCESS. Just a nightmare company to deal with.
My father has stage 4 cancer so I wanted to use it for him ASAP. Asked for less than 6 weeks delivery. Came in 7 weeks broken. I was under impression that it will be worth it to pay for using another brand at medi spa before i get it. WHAT A MISTAKE< COSTLEY MISTAKE.
It was delivered in flimsy/messed up box with fabric corner already ripped on the spa. The SOLO unit looked unprofessional, without any LOGO on the tube and poor quality. It is covered in weird gray jersey kind of material like thick pantyhose. Not washable or impossible to disinfect. It will get spotty quickly from sweat or when touched. I was wondering is someone in China made it in a sweat shop or in their garage. Just a comment.
It made a spark, BOOM!, and a lot of smoke! Must be kidding me! The service promised new control box overnight - next day! Well i called them in 6 days when still not arrived. They did not send it as promised!
when i got it in a week THE SAME THING! SPARK, Loud BOOOOM! and smoke.
Customer service - listen to this Dustin S told me that that is suspicious what i do with the boxes! ME? It may be my fault that they exploded! Maybe I plug them in the wrong outlet? My husband is an electrician for 15 years and he knows PLUGS! Manager was not available for complaint. Left him a message but never heard back.
I need to return it - buy a huge box and wait for my money. I NEED A WOZRKING SAUNA * WEEKS AGO. UPS still did not pick it as promised up in 3 days. Waiting for them. Just a nightmare. They tied up my money to buy different brand for 2 months so far!
Deeply regret dealing with these snake oil salesmen. Still do not have my money.

CAVEAT EMPTOR. I’ve had my sunlight sauna for three years. In the first six months it didn’t work and the company couldn’t find a competent repair person to come fix it in a major American market (Boston). I was starting to believe that the liftime guarantee referred to the evidence that it could well take a lifetime to get the unit working properly. Finally, after countless phone calls, the unit was repaired by a HVAC expert. Now here we are three years later and is on the fritz again. In the meantime, sunlight sauna became sunlighten sauna….(Hmmm, too many warrenty claims?) Will the original guarantee still hold? My experience with the company does not bode well. The above clearly shows that these units are having problems…. Why would someone complain about a unit that actually works for the lifetime it is guaranteed to for?

I ordered a Sunlighten Sauna back in November 2010. Impulse Empower, top of the line, full loaded, TEAK wood, with all the accessories.

I was also delayed at least 4 times and was scheduled to receive my sauna Sometime in Late November of 2011. You are talking frustrated I was beyond that. I was going to cancel my order. So I called in to talk to a representative for the last time, I truly had it with Sunlighten.

The Representative on the phone begged me to hang in there with my order. She explained to me for the fourth time it was the teak wood that was holding up my order. She said that if someone else was not ready to accept their order that if its identical to my order she would give me a call.

She was very compassionate, supportive and understood my frustration. She talked to her manager and they offered a little compensation for my worries, I wasn't concerned about the compensation, I wanted my sauna. Don't get me wrong, I accepted the compensation.

In my opinion, IN BOLD WORDS, DO NOT CANCEL YOUR ORDER! She called me three days later and told me that she had wonderful news. Someone had ordered a Sauna exactly identical and was not ready to accept it. I was first on the list to accept it.

Unfortunate for the person, I am assuming had waited just as long as I did, missed out on a beautiful Sauna, it was truly the best investment I have made yet. I received it last Friday and I have been using it twice a day. It’s truly mindboggling how the technology works. I have been in many saunas in my time.

There is no sauna on the market that can touch it! It’s hard for me to break a sweat, even in the most demanding workouts, and within minutes the sweat was pouring, as if I were taking a shower. What’s even more remarkable, when you are done with the sauna, and you exit to shower, you're still sweating because the FAR rays have pentrated deep into your core heating your body from the inside out and your core remains hot until you have completely cooled off. The results was great pain relief and slept like a newborn in the fetal position.
I did not want to get up, it felt so good. I am thinking about using three times a day. Remember drink plenty of water before entering and while you are in the sauna, better yet after you done. It will definitely make you sweat.

Furthernore, the heat in the Sauna doesn’t seem all that hot, as a conventional sauna i.e., burning your nose hairs, ears and eyes etc. Bottom-line, I hope that you will hang in there. I was on the verge of canceling, but I am extremely happy and will tell you its well worth the wait.

I can’t speak for the other lines of sauna’s Sunlighten provides but, I can rest assu red, that if you purchased Impulse empower; you will not be dissatisfied at all. The wait is practically unbearable and if I had waited Until November and my sauna had been delayed again.

I would have canceled the order. Now that I know for a fact is well worth the wait. I fully recommend that you hang in there! Keep calling someone just might cancel or not be financially ready to accept their sauna and you just might get your sauna earlier than expected.

Good luck in your wait, and have patience there are a lot more people awaiting there sauna, stay consistent and keep bugging them until you get yours.
