Straight Talk Wireless unlock policy

My $600 iphone 5 which i have owned since new at least 4 years is not "eligable" to be unlocked.
I switched to t mobile as straittalk has the worst customer service i have ever experienced!... That is, IF you can ever actually get a real person.
So if u choose straittalk, DO NOT BUY AN EXPENSIVE PHONE! ... Because when u leave straitalk (which u will) u will only have an expensive paperweight.

Straight Talk Wireless refund on the order of a phone I cancelled.

On November 2, 2016, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy s4 from straight talk. The same day I cancelled the order because, I wanted to wait and get a more updated phone. On November 3, $111.69 was taking from my account from straight talk. I was told I would receive an email to verify that I cancelled it and I never got one. I made several calls to customer service and was told it be 3-5 business days, then that turned into 7-10 days and finally I was told it worked 30 days. Beyond 30 days have passed and I still don't have my refund. I am a 21 year old college student, I don't have $111.69 to just give away. I want and need my money back!

Straight Talk Wireless samsung galaxy core prime

I ordered the phone directly from Straight Talk within 2 weeks of purchase the sim card would no longer work. They replaced the card. With in a week of receiving the new card, the sim went out again. This time the phone was replaced. Once again the sim card is not working. During all this I had to have my old phone reactivated, but the company still owes me for one week of down time, that a rep claims they cant do anything about without a reference number. Were are these bad sim cards coming from? What will it take for the company to figure it out?

Straight Talk Wireless lg stylo 2 lte

I brought this phone at Walmart in August 2016. Within a month my Sim card went out, they sent e a new Sim card. Well woke up today and once again i have a invalid SIM card message on my phone! They are going to send me a new SIM card but why is it that the SIM card keeps going invalid on this phone? I paid 150.00 for this phone and now going to be a week till i can use this phone? This is horrible! I am disabled and need a phone and i can't even call 911 if something happened to me..Real sad...I would really like them to replace this phone not keep sending me new SIM cards!

Straight Talk Wireless lg stylo 2 / customer service

For the last few months I have been dealing with a issue with straight talk concerning a replacement phone

I purchased this phone and joined straight talk. at that time I had the phone for about 4 weeks. the phone all of a sudden stopped working. it would function in every way except the screen stays black. I called straight talk and it was determined that the phone had a hardware issue and that they would send me a air mail package, for me to return the old phone and my phone would be replaced. I received the air mail package, returned my phone an waited. at that time I needed a phone so I went to walmart and purchase a cheap phone. (20$) to use while waiting on my phone to arrive. after waiting a week and a half I called straight talk and then was told that my phone had not been shipped and would be shipped immediately. after waiting another 5 days I received a phone in the mail.. it was the wrong phone. I received a zte phone which was the same phone that I had purchased that was $20 it was not my lg phone which cost me 200$. i’ve then called straight talk once again and told them of the problem they told me that someone had entered in the wrong information on the ticket so they would send me another air mail package and for me to return the new phone that they sent and again they would send me my new lg stylo 2 phone. again I received the air mail I returned the new phone again I waited another week and a half called straight talk and they told me that they had to look into the problem after being on the phone for 2 hours maybe longer they told me that the phone was found and had been received and my phone would be shipped immediately again I waited another 5 days and never received anything so I called straight talk to be put on hold disconnected transferred then again transferred and again was told that they had got everything straight and it would be shipped again after waiting another 5-6 days I called again and requested to speak to someone in management I was told that they could help me they done the research and then was told that the warehouse said that my phone was not available in the warehouse and as soon as one came available that they would ship my phone when asking when they would have one available the response I got was they did not know that it would be shipped as soon as one came available and that I would be compensated for a free month of service for any inconvenience again I am still sitting here and have not received nothing. how is this good customer service or even how is this a good company to want to switch your phone service to its been 2 ½ months

Straight Talk Wireless used phone

I received a phone from StraightTalk and it looked used. I contacted customer service and they said that was only my imagination.
Anyways, used the phone for two weeks and it broke. Tried to switch it on, checked the battery, but there were no visible damages. Contacted StraightTalk and they said that I probably did something wrong. They said that it was all my fault and never helped me.
I took the phone to a local repair shop and was told that phone was quite old so there was nothing special about that it broke!
What a scam!

Straight Talk Wireless unlimited talk text and data

For the last 4 months I have been trying Straight Talk prepaid card services. I was on the $45 that lasted 20 days I got the $60 plan that lasted 25 days which that was 10 gigs, this month I bought a $45 plan that within 5 days I have used 4 gigs impossible. No update or download where is the data going. I am just holding on until I find a better company. To use straight talk as a provider you must buy the $45 plan two to three times a month to have a full month of service.

Straight Talk Wireless galaxy core prime

This morning I bought a brand new galaxy core prime cell phone at Wal-Mart. I also purchased an airtime card along with the new phone. I got home about an hour later and called straight talk to activate my phone and add the airtime card. My phone was activated and worked for about an hour. My husband tried calling me on my new phone number that straight talk had provided, and a different person answered the phone. A different person already was using the number that was given to me by straight talk for my new phone! and then my phone was deactivated! Only after an hour after being activated, and me adding my just boughten phone card! So i called straight talk customer service which was a joke. After talking with a superviser and then the supervisors supervisor, and after explaining the situation repeatedly, I was told that although I just purchased the new phone along with a 45.00 phonecard, I needed to purchase another phone card to reactivate my phone! Are you kidding me! I'm being charged almost another 50.00 dollars to reactivate a phone I just bought and put minutes on! This is absolutely rediculous! Their customer service is the worst i have ever Seen. I think everyone needs to start taking a better look at all the complaints. Something needs to be done.

Straight Talk Wireless customer service and overall service

My sim card with straight talk just completely stopped working on 6/01/16. I called in and they verified that my account was not disconnected and that my sim card had stopped working. They ordered me a new sim card and said that it would be in by 6/04/16. Today is 6/07/16 and I still have not received my sim card. I called back and Darren (I have his employee ID, if anyone needs it) stated that he would have to cancel my first order and process another order and I would have to wait more days for a freaking sim card. Keep in mind that the sim card went out before my contract end date. I requested to speak with his manager (Valentino) and he couldn't help me so I requested to speak with corporate. None of these freaking people seem to know what they're doing when the problem is on their end but when it comes to us paying them they're no issues. I spoke with corporate and guess what, still NO SIM CARD. I will be contacting my lawyer because straight talk is outrageous, and they are by far the WORST CELLPHONE COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. Verizon and ATT are expensive but I will pay them an arm and leg before I deal with straight talk again. At least, Verizon and ATT have great customer service and when there is a problem on their end, they get on it right away and don't give you the run around. I ABSOLUTELY HATE STRAIGHTTALK AND WOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SUGGEST THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY TO MY WORST NIGHTMARE

I just had a very similar experience. Visited Walmart where they put me in touch with tech assist.Sim failed, admitted by tech support, said it would take 5-6 days to get a new card to me. Cannot issue authorization for Walmart to replace the card. Blame shifting, unhelpful, shoddy product, poor connectivity in both Colorado and Miami, Fl. What do I do without a phone of nearly a week waiting for a new card with an ailing 95 year old parent? Avoid this product and company. You get what you pay for? ...not much. Disgraceful, incompetent and essentially a rip off. They should be ashamed and Walmart should cease doing business with this company. Buy at your own risk, something goes wrong...good luck sucker.

Straight Talk Wireless phone replacement

On 4-14-16 my ZTE lever completely stopped working due to an ongoing problem it had had since day one. When I originally purchased the phone it had issues reading the sim card so they sent me another one which didn't resolve the problem but I dealt with it because I was told that was all they could do. So when it finally stopped functioning all together I had no choice but to send it in for replacement and they received it in only a couple days including the weekend. Well since then, I've been lied to, hung up on and misled to the max. I was told from the beginning that my new phone was sent out via FedEx and I would receive it in a few days and was even told the day it would arrive to be a Thursday. Never happened. So I called back and another rep told me the previous one had made a mistake and that it wasn't sent the day he told me so I would get it Saturday instead. Never happened. So I called again only to be told they had both made a mistake and the rep knew for a fact my phone was sent out on that Wednesday and since weekends didn't count I was sure to get my new phone on Monday or Tuesday at the very latest. Never happened. I finally spoke to a manager and he apologized but couldn't understand why they had lied to me because he could clearly see it was packaged and ready to be sent but had never left the warehouse. But he would see to it it went out the next day and for me to call back in 24 to 48 hours to confirm and receive a tracking number. So I called back and guess what, finally I'm told they didn't even have a phone in Stock that matched mine and nothing was sent nor was it packaged. Just a bunch of reps down the line getting paid to lie to customers that have been with them for years. So now that I've established that they offered me another phone, the Samsung Galaxy E5 and it was a take it or leave it kind of agreement. One of the reasons I purchased to ZTE lever was for the 6" screen and their offer is a 5" but when I agreed the waiting game started and I've been wondering where that phone is. So I called them back and they don't have it in stock. It is now May and they could care less if I have a phone or not. No one has contacted me since my last call in which was disconnected. I will be seeking an attorney and soon.

Straight Talk Wireless customer service/new sim card

I got a GSM unlocked phone and needed to put a new sim card in it. I went to Wal-Mart and 3 bring your own phone plans didn't work. They kept saying they were meant for tablets. So they told us they were sending us a new sim card for free. It finally came, this one on time, but it was a nano sim card and we needed a micro sim card. So they told us straight talk would send us the right size. And that took 2 weeks to come in the mail, after calling them more then 2 times about, and guess what? It was a nano sim card AGAIN. I ended up just buying my own dual sim card and not waiting on them to send the right one. They really don't know what the hell they doing!

Straight Talk Wireless cell phone customer service and cell service

Their "tech" support are not knowledgeable about how to actually correct the problems. I have called back numerous times to try and get my service with my new phone fixed. I'm currently waiting on a new sim card this is the second one because when I looked up the common problems for why my phone would keep dropping everything no data, not being able to make calls even with full bars, I told them not to send a t mobile sim because it doesn't work where I am, they said OK and sent me another T-Mobile sim card then I inquired about a refund and was promptly put on hold and hung up on. Then called back got another repp who said the could replace the phone, she in 2 to 3 days I would receive a box to send my old phone back and then I would recievce the replacement after that. I was waiting a week for he box and decided to call and see if the even sent thee empty box yet the rep told me that I would not recievce the empty box until 5/11/16 that's another week and a half, this rep is sending a replacement sim. And was assuring that it would be Verizon not T-Mobile but the was telling me my address where I already reciecved the phone. And first replacement sim card is not a valid address. What do I know I only live here.

Straight Talk Wireless customer service on defective phone

Phone quit working (it was approx. 7 months old)- completely dead. Battery is not removable (built into phone). Customer service says they will send a replacement AFTER they receive our phone back. They gave Ticket # and said they would e-mail an airbill within 24 hours to return the phone. Two days later, nothing by e-mail. Called again, customer service says there must be a glitch nothing was sent by e-mail. After an hour on the phone, they gave new ticket number and said they would send a box with airbill within 2 business days. Called again (I disconnected after 1 hour on the phone) and new rep. says it will be 3-5 business days (which will be a week, since it is Thursday). Then it could take 2 weeks to get a replacement phone. Have had many problems with customer service in the past, give wrong information on phone item numbers (which phone to get for which towers) and for hotspot boxes. Worst company and worst customer service we have ever had.

spent 4 hours trying to get someone on the phone. spent another 6 hours dealing with people who do not speak English and were very rude even after asking for the supervisor. most the time i call i get ran around called customer service then the direct manger line then corporate and still have not had the results i want or expect.

Straight Talk Wireless policy and fine print

StraightTalk is the worst cell phone provider I have ever been with. I just started service with them on 2/27/16. I am half way through my month and I have used up 5gb of data and have been reduced to slower speeds. I called customer service to find a solution to my problem and was given several choices that were obviously not thought up with the paying customer in mind.

Option #1 Cancel my current plan and forfeit the money I just paid and start over.

Option #2 Buy a Mobile Hotspot from them and carry it around with me in my pocket.

Option #3 Just wait till my 30 days is up and then get 10 GB plan and have 2g speeds for two weeks.

This is their policy I was told again and again. Wish I could say that in my industry every time a customer was having an issue with my product or service. Well Mr. Customer our policy is to take advantage of you as much as we can, offer you terrible customer service and if you have a problem our policy is to give you some absolutely ridiculous solutions. Have a good day!

Unbelievable never again.

Straight Talk Wireless refunding my minutes

I called Dec 31, 2015 to replace my phone, I didn't receive my replacement phone until last weekend then I had to order a new Sim card, then I call today to get my mins back that I lost and they deactivated my phone. I have never had this much problem with straight talk I've been with them on and off for 6-8 years and this is the first time this has ever happened...if you would please do something I need a phone because I am dealing with cps and I have to have contact with my case worker

Straight Talk Wireless data throttling

I am a very very loyal customer been with this company for many many years. Never had a problem till I'm on my second phone and as usual my data slowed down and I knew it might of been because I needed to buy my cars but the weirs part is that is was slower than slow like it wouldn't load anything at all! And than I put a brand new card on 4G and everything and its still like this! Takes forever to load just a photo and can't watch any more TV shows or videos. So I tried resetting my whole phone like my husband suggested so I did and surely enough that didn't even help! Its still slow. So if I don't get contacted and helped than I'll be leaving and never coming back.

Straight Talk Wireless refilling phone service

In a attempt to refill my phone I was run through from automated service to 2 operators, I repeatedly asked if I was going to be billed more than once. No was the response and the last Operator said my card was declined. Not a chance I know what is in the bank. Upon calling the bank straight talk charged my account 3 times in 1 hour. Plus my phone still had no service. Called back to straight talk and the operator turned my phone on within seconds but reaburssing my account would 3-5 days. No regard to the fact that I have checks written and not any apology for the inconvenience of the error that their staff made. Calls are recorded for customer service is stated at beginning of transaction's - maybe someone should listen to the accuracy of their staff.

Straight Talk Wireless no service for phone

My phone has no service because of a straight talk Supervisor Error. My Sim Card is not working because your saying its the wrong card, even though this sim card That I'm using is and was working. I go to renew my next months service with straight talk and my phone automatically Deactivates. I now have no service this month that has already been paid. Now, I'm being charged for service that I don't have, which is against the law, because I'm having to wait on a sim card that's going to take a week to get to my address. The customer service representative refused to let me speak with a supervisor for ten minutes. So I had to call back and use a different customer service rep. This is unprofessional and unacceptable service. I am getting no help with your supervisors or service reps. If this issue is not resolved within the next few days, my attorney will be filling a Civil Law Suit against this company for theft. My ticket # [protected]

Straight Talk Wireless data

I have had straight talk $45 unlimited talk text and data plan for 3 years. Couple of weeks ago i was notified that my plan had slowed down due to using my allotted 3GB of data and would be turned back to 4G on my next paid cycle. I am currently on my next paid cycle and currently at 22MB. Service is so slow can't use Internet, Facebook or anything other then phone or text. Tried e-mailing and calling Straight Talk. They have not resolved problem, but had no problem tacking my money. What is my next step to get my data usage back?

Straight Talk Wireless service especially tech support (I use this term loosely).

Let me warn you, everyone. Straighttalk has the most illiterate, rude, obnoxious group of lying support technicians known to man. They are somewhere on a planet unbeknownst to Earth and cannot for the life of them understand earthlings and our phones. I do believe they do not even understand for whom they are employed. Three days, today is the fourth, I have had them tell me they will give me a call back - lie, lie, and more lying. For the fourth day, after several hours on the phone with the incapable non-tech support (because they damn sure don't know what they are doing), I far worse off than I was when I called them the first time. The problem, about which i called, was my phone's inability to receive MMS messages. After spending almost 2 hours of my time with an incompetent "technician" I could no longer access anything that requires data access. The second day, the "technician" (after the first "technician" never returned my call, told me my ATT area was in an outage. What the? My husband's phone, same type, same service, with him sitting next to me in the same damn vehicle was working fine. He promised a call back and no call back. Now today, Saturday December 12, 2015, the fourth day and the fourth call, it has been over 2 hours and still no, not the first in four days, call back from the lying, oh what the heck is the truth, "technicians" at Straight Talk. Why don't you guys call your service LieThoroughOurTeethandTakeYouForFools Talk? Signed a very angry and disgruntled consumer.
