st.peters university review: Draw backs 3

i am a student from st.peters university, avadi, chennai, tamil nadu.. i am doing my 2 nd year engineering in this university belong to EEE department. This is not a compaint of mine it is a voice of the whole students studying in this university... i have sent more than 5 complaints like this to NBA and AICTE in delhi.. but till now i have not got a single response from them.. Today the date is 17-12-2009 a team is coming from AICTE on 18th of dec 2009 so each department HODs have selected 5 students from department and they provided us the answers for the questions asked from AICTE... They told us to say that we are paid only 60, 000 year but actually we are paid more than 1 lakh per year. And we are ordered not to complain anything to the AICTE during the meeting if we complain we will be suspended...

The complaints from our university students

1. We are paid more than 1 Lakh per year than the actual fees 60, 000

2. We are collected 1000 Rs per arrear rather then 150 which is collected in anna university affliated colleges

3.We are fined 5, 000 Rs for 60 percentage of attendance in which we cant submit any Medical certificates if we happened to take leave due to accidents or illness.

4.In our college there is no recorrection if we fail or get low marks in semester. In the place of recorrection they have launched a new idea of retotalling and they are collecting 500 Rs from the students.

5.The college professors are the main drawback they dont have the capacity to take classes for us and they lack in communication because of this most of the North indians studying in our college are studying by themself.

6. A lecturer in EEE department has arrears in her B.E course but she is taking Lab session for us and writing her arrear exams along with us.

7.we are collected 200 Rs as Breakage Money per semester But none of the instruments work in our laboratory..

I am writing this complaint in the hope that you will take necessary actions... I am not bothered about my life if you close this college.. But please care for the life of the students who going to join in this hell in next year..

i am going to push to complaint to The Hindu, Indian Express, Daily malar, Daily thanthi and other popular newspaper.. I hope atleast one of these Newspaper will bring the real face of the college to Public Issue..
