I went to Stetic and had 6 crowns put on, yes it was cheaper in Mexico .(not in the long run.)ALL 6 crowns had to be replaced, as the edges were pretty rough and causing pain in my gums, the color didnt come close to matching my natural teeth. I will have good crowns that look good and function properly, made in the usa . Where the dentists to take pride in their work . Beware you pay for cheap work, youre gonna get cheap work. hosed, lied to, story telling sales pitches, and then... the run around .NO warrenty ...they mess you up and too bad youre on your own . or they bring you back and the problems get worse .

I had the most painful experience of my life at this climic. I had gone there to have 5 implants. Three of which required extractions. The dentist removed the wrong tooth. The procedure that was supposed to require three hours took over 7 hours. The dentist broke three crowns during this process as he used the adjacent teeth for leverage during the extraction. It was painful to the point that I could feel the needle from the sutures threading through my gums. Manny refused to answer my phone calls despite numerous attempts to contact him. . This is a complete scam. The dentist is flown in for procedures as I assume that no one locally wants to be associated with this clinic. My friend had a sinus lift and implants that same day. He also experienced so much pain that he refuses to return to complete his treatment.

still stetic implant and dental centers, MANNY PAYAN has not returned my money he agreed to return . and after more than 4 years of non stop surgeries for corrections to my mouth jaw bone and sinuses, still he could care less, avoid calls and emails . what a toad!

i think i may have been at the clinic when you were getting your crowns done, you were very unhappy with the color, and showed me. i also had crowns that had to be removed because of rough edges, cutting into my gums and lost 3 natural teeth because of it not counting all the surgeries i had to have to make corrections . stetic implant and dental centers is a horrible place that will promise good work, and Manny is a smooth criminal . i trusted his lies and he shut me out . he owes me 17, 000 not counting pain suffering medications for constant infections .

Setic implant & dental centers is all about money, not about your dental needs. they do not care about the outcome and will not stand by their work .

After ruining my mouth and leaving me stranded I decided to fight back when I returned to Canada. I went thru MediTouriaism, asking them why they would promote such a terrible bunch of thieving butchers . I explained that they had no dental skills at all and I gave them a list of other people that Stetic had butchered. They agreed to help out after several months of bugging. When it was all said and done I got almost nothing back because Stetic wanted me to pull my bad reviews. MediTourism did nothing to protect me and continued to promote these butchers. This venture cost me big time and left me mangled .

try to contact the person in charge, instead you get someone who tells you go ahead wright the bad reviews, do what i have to do, has been telling me for at least 2 years they havent got any money . lies no money no job for the dozen people working in nuevo progresso mexico .
i feel completely ripped off, they caused me perminant damage, ive yet to get my refund .i was warned by others that he would do this that he has done it to everyone they make mistakes on, promises to pay them, and instead changes his cellphone numbers and will not pick up the office phone when they call. look around there is at least 5 people claiming this, ive talked w ith them all .

I was in cancun last year twice and have been ignored by thresa and many for the past year. I cannot see anyone going to this place to get screwed for there money. I am continuing and will continue to call leave messages. Now cannot even leave messages on manny's voice mail and stetic voice mail always full. hmmmmm maybe someone screwed them well its about time. hopefully someone did. these people are crooks nothing more.

yep still nothing from this rip off company . stetic implant & dental centers should not be in business if they cant do good work, and STAND BEHIND IT when something goes wrong they should pay for the corrections and refund all money . not play games with someones well being . wow never delt with such dishonest people in all my life !

try to call manny and he avoids me, so i use a friends phone with another number, and he answers, tells me all his worries with what i post, then he doesnt allow me to speak and hangs up on me . real nice way to run a dental clinic . turned his back on me . and let me suffer, with no feelings of guilt or remorse . sad sad way to treat people when you and your doctors are at fault !~these are the people who are to blame . with no remorse

I bet that positive review was paid for. Why would someone go on a complaints board to post something positive.

My situation with stetic dental and implant is NOT resolved they are now liars and thieves. Dental malpractice is serious, anyone reading these reviews, they are all tru and manny was to compensate me for damages and lied. They are worse than incompetent, they will lie to you repeatedly. Stay away and you have no recourse I Mexico. Oh, and they hire dentists with fraudulent credentials.

My name is Tom L. from St. Louis, Mo. Just returned from Progresso yesterday. Dr. Fabian did my work. My list included 15 crowns, 6 fillings, root canal, bridge, and an extraction. Manny picked me up from the airport and took me to Dr. Fabian's office (assistants were Sergio and Elana). The work began immediately. I was there from Thursday 1/17/2013 until my flight yesterday afternoon. I have no affiliation with this company or any of these people. I cannot speak to the validity of anyone complaints or concerns. It sounds like people had bad experiences and my heart goes out to them. My story is a bit different. I have had a lot of work done in St. Louis (I was tired of overpaying and getting poor service in my hometown), I have had poor root canals from endodontist, I have had poor crowns from local dentist, as a matter of fact all of the work that I have had in the states over the last 5 years is poor or has failed (that was not from a lack of trying to save money, I PAID). I was faced with local estimates for over 15, 000.00 to correct all of my problems and that made my situation impossible. I read the reviews (good and bad), I spoke to two of Stetics customers over the phone, 1 good and 1 bad. I waited a year and read quite a bit more. Finally I took the plunge. My experience was a good one. I liked the staff. The went to work and stayed busy until it was done. Was there pain? Yes, I got a lot of work done. 800mg of Ibuprofen took the edge off. I showed up with an infection before things even started so I began antibiotics right away. The extraction seemed to alleviate quite a bit of that though. I had a root canal done in st. louis and they had cracked the tooth when they set the post and put a crown over it, I have been battling infections as a result for 2 years with no answers. For those of me that are interested in will give you that providers name in St. Louis and you can check his reviews (talk about bad) it makes these look like mild, the doctor is in an affluent area with an established practice (he works with insurance companies so he is in a provider handbook and gets fresh meat from that source, I didn't know until after the fact). Anyway, Dr. Fabian took xrays, wrote a treatment plan, and went to work. The estimate was $4500.00. At the end of day one I paid them $1500.00, I paid the balance when the work was complete. I liked everyone I met. Progresso as a town felt pretty safe, alot of people pester you to buy stuff and a lot poor people wanting donations. Brought home a couple of souvenirs but really didn't feel like shopping much. Manny would pick me up and drop me off each day. All and all, they made things pretty darned easy. I like how my teeth look and feel now. I am officially out of pain. Will it last? I hope so. If not, I will catch a flight and straighten it out. Infections suck, I know I have lived with them off and on for 4 years. The last thing I want to do is diminish others problems. I felt I needed to share my story. If this all goes to hell in a handbag I will let it be known. As it is, I feel like received effective, efficient service and I am pleased with the look and feel. I don't know about the other doctors but at this point I could highly recommend Dr. Fabian and his staff. Manny wasn't my dentist so I can't really say much, we chatted and he gave me rides. hi its peter again. Stectic is still giving me the run around. Thresa is nothing more than a puppet there and dont believe anything she says. I have gone through so much for to long. Anyone that goes to cancun beware of MELLISSA. She is another con artist. she'll promise a warranty but there is none. Anyone that deals with THRESA also beware. Stectic implants are nothing more that petty crooks destroying peoples lives, and teeth. They have no compasion for there work. I will still continue to be the pain in there ### untill something gets settled.

Anyone that is planning on going to cancun for work at stetic DONT. Mellissa is full of ### when she talks. Thresa is another one that is full of it aswell.I have been patient and trying to get my refund back and its just a merry go around. WORD OF CAUTION. Stetic implants are crooks. Stetic implant and dental center has turned my life around in the WORST way . i had left positive reviews, because the staff was very friendly and the doctors seemed to be quilified .however after my implants were placed there is a 4-6 month healing period . in this time my hopes were very great that i would get a nice smile . but upon returning for the actual teeth and smile to be performed . it turned UGLY this implant cant be used, that implant needs removed, infection infection . no return of phone calls and emails avoiding what they had done to me .emergency surgery to remove the appliance that they cemented in my mouth that cut blood flow of to my gums .here i set with my bank account drained the promise of the return of my money has never been made .and i can not even chew properly because i have NO teeth .PLEASE do not pick the clinic with the best web page .and be careful because the doctor they advertise with such impressive schooling . does not work there because he found them unethical! I am filled with despair and hopelessness and Manny and Stetic Implants have abandoned me. I have no will to go on without gums and teeth.

am going to talk about my experience at Stetic Implant & Dental Centers .
I did an online search to find affordable implants and came accross Stetics page . I called and got in touch with Manny (part owner) He is a very smooth talker along with his assistant Thersa .I have been back and forth numerous times because of complications .My first visit was to get the implants placed .Dr Tacher was th
e Oral Surgeon who did this step . 6 imlpants on top with an arch of porcelain teeth . 3 on bottom with porcelain crowns was to be the end goal. The implants were p laced and i was sent home with a denture for healing (4-6 months) the denture would not stay put in my mouth and the midline was off so bad .I got infection in one of the front implants right away. Another visit and they were to make the porcelain arch .This is when i see Dr Schlem .He had a hard time getting anything done, as he and John(an assistant) told me they didnt have the right tools, and that the wrong implants were used . Dr.tacher and i had a talk about this, Dr Tacher tells me he used the right implants but Manny did not order the correct abutments . He recommended angeled abutments . they made an arch with the wrong abutments.This in turn causes problems right away . Another visit for corrections . Thiss trip i have DR Gurrero . I ask him about the infected implant, and they did nothing about this, insted focused on an implant that was placed on the roof of my mouth . more infection (.At this time i was also told another implant would not be able to be used as it wasnt in the correct position). i sent them pictures of the infections, and was told this is normal not to worry about it . I go to the Eurgent care and the Dr there gets on the phone with John He explains i was oozing infection. Dr gurreo had to remove this appliance, (again not the right tools for t he job) hours and hours 6 at the very least, he pounded and cut it was unreal the pain i went thro with this . Now i am told i could not have the arch i payed for because 4 implants wouldnt be strong enough to support it .So it would be a denture cemented on .
I WILL CONTINUE THIS MORE ...IT GETS SO MUCH WORSE . I AM ALSO ATTACHING A PICUTRE OF THE INFECTION THEY TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY ABOUT .

Everyone was great, Dr. Guerrero is very gentle and I didn't feel a thing! Had a teeth cleaning, bottom retainer placed, chip fixed, small bone graft and implant and my husbands teeth cleaned for $1780.00! Implant healing well! Its been almost 2 weeks now. Will keep updates. Have already recommended friends. Also, I must tell this story; I went to my local dentist because I thought my stitches came out to early. When I went there I told him I got implant in Mexico and he was like ekk!, then he looked at the x-ray and said that he had seen good work and bad work and that this was REALLY GREAT WORK! I didn't need stitches but it made me happy to know that I made a good choice in STETIC DENTAL! In the states my insurance wouldn't cover the implant, for the implant, abutment, crown it would have been around $4500.00 in Dallas area.

My situation with stetic has been resolved to my satisfaction

Today Stetic Implants is on the chopping block. They will have to provide answers as to why so many people have serious, permanent damage to their mouths along with infection.
Some of us are now writing complaints to whatclinic and Mediltourism in hopes that these companies are made aware of Stetic Implants butcher jobs and hopefully they will stop promoting such rubbish.
One more potential customer down the drain this morning. Hmmmm...$3000.00 Not really that much, but if you add in the above amount it comes to $51000.00. = 0 for Stetic Implants! I am only here to provide my truth and will continue until Stetic comes clean!

So far I have saved 4 potential patients that intended to get upper and lower arches from Stetic Implants. Hmmm...Lets do the math...Okay...$12000.00 x 4 = 0 for Stetic Implants...hahahhhah Now whos crying Manny? Was it worth it ?

My problems just get worse. Melissa refused to provide me with help as we all know she is associated with Manny in Progresso . She said she would charge me with harassment after the first letter explaining how Manny dumped me and never picked me up for my dentistry. Sick, money hungry people is my description of Stetic Implants. Manny can't get any decent surgeons and so hires a bunch of idiots while he falsely advertises surgeons as part of his staff. These people don't give a rats behind how badly they mangle you as long as they get your money. Manny has no experience in dentistry but likes to pour it on real thick. The reviews you see on whatclinic are not based on the quality of dentistry. Just based on how quickly Manny pursues you. That is what their rated on. Just email and ask.
I have been trying to find out what type or brand of implants they used on me since Jan. and they refuse to say. The cover screws are missing and I have infection into my throat and neck. Nice people, hey! Eat some more Manny cause none of us can. Oh and by the way. If you want to know how Stetic performs sterilization, I will tell you. They spray their dental tools with lysal in a sink. The truth!

One of posters just went back for repair and they butchered them. This place should be shut down anyone who makes the choice to use them after reading all this should find a place with real recommendations. Good ones near an I hear, but ifmitsmso hard to find good reviews stick with dentist who can be prosecuted easily, otherwise they get cocky and think this can go on forever. They will get the word eventually and go away but how much damage did they do?

A real good thing to know when paying for services that are questionable is to make sure your Credit Card Co. will back you up if you are cheated ! TD Visa is very powerful and doesn't turn their back on you if they feel you've been deceived. Another thing to watch out for is false advertising. This is when Stetic announces that their having special prices on implants along with special Surgeons. Watch out for that trick. If they try to give you a 3 year warranty, tell em to get lost. I don't know about you, but I don't intend to get my implants replaced every 3 years. Crap. Are they going to pay for your flight, time off work, motel and have a decent dentist to replace them every 3 years? The ride to and from the airport didn't happen either.

Stetic Implants in both Progresso and Cancun are 2 places to stay away from. You have been warned. These people just want your money. Melissa blows her own horn outta Cancun and when your problems begin, and they will, she will throw you at Manny and Thresa in Progresso. You will get nowhere with these 2 swindlers. Once these 2 get their hands on your money, their not so nice.
Perhaps when Manny greets you at the airport with no front teeth, you might figure it out.

If you are thinking about getting work done in cancun DONT Melissa will tell you yes its all under waranty, Dont worry about it. DONT believe her. If your getting told that -- get the actual wrritten warranty in writting first, and read it carfully. please, please call me before u do anything. I was there and am still getting screwed and the run around. I would not recommend stetic to anyone.

13 of Feb 2012 I had some work done in cancun stetic implant centre. I had 8 mini implants put in. I was in so much pain for 5 grulling hrs. The docktor asked me can u feel this. And he continued (What a question) I was almost out of my seat. After about 2 weeks I called back saying 1 implant just pulled out. I came back down for the warranty work. Paid out of pocked flight and hotel. Was told that I would get it back. Have been talking with teresa at least once or twice a week. NOTHING IS HAPPENING. Manny wont even return my calls.I think manny is not all what he says he is. All I want is the work done properly. Or give my money back so I can get the work done $ 5000.00 is what they took from me. I would not recommend anyone going to cancun for any work done. The speach theey give u is all fine and dandy, but when something goes wrong they brush u off and take your money. I recently had work done in Progresso and my experience is positive. I had 5 implants and crowns and am happy with all the work that was done there. If they were here in New Orleans, I would actually use them for my primary care. I have personally spoken to other patients who had work done there. I believe I met the young lady from Nebraska who was down there getting work done the same time as me...
In one of the reviews, one of the patients making a negative post said that her daughter was a dentist. My question is why didn't she get the work done by her daughter or from someone in her daughters network. I would have thought she could have received fair cost and excellent treatment? Some of the things posted just doesn't make sense...
