I posted a very detailed complaint late last night so many may not have read it.It was also under the headline PLEASE READ.
The state of Iowa apparently will not help people unless they are Hispanic and their dhs application actually specifically asks if you are Hispanic or not. It does not ask about any other race except Hispanic.
Went in to find out about additional coverage to go with Medicare, as people from Medicare told us to. We were not looking for a handout just trying to do everything we were told that we have to do.
Lobby full of Mexicans, VERY VERY rude case worker spent less than 4 minutes with us said we dont qualify but she cant find our file.
Do not understand what difference being hispanic or not makes. If we were would we have been treated better.
