It took nearly 3 months by now without paying me the insurance claim for vehicle number wp CBD-9560 by Negombo branch. Customer care of Negombo staff was so unsatisfactory. Although I handed over the documents on time, they gave unacceptable reasons without paying me the insurance claim. I am a long time customer of your company including the health insurance. But this incident disappointed me so badly. I expect your immediate attention for this issue as this type of incidents cause severe damage to your company's reputation. I believe that the most important thing of an insurance company is to ensure the 'trust ' of their customers.

Agents name _ Buddhika ..( Nugegoda branch, presently he says he has been transferred elsewhere )
The agent was very rude on the phone when I called him on 15 th June 2018 morn and inquired the status of the claim ( following repeated attempts earlier by my wife which resulted in no progress !)
He said he was doing me a " favour" and to ask my usual agent what the status was in a very rude manner..and hung up! Leaving me quite shocked at the standard of service provided by SLIC.
His manner of speech, rudeness and the extreme delay in processing my claim
is viewed as totally unacceptable.
I do not have his surname..but hope this agent will be thoroughly advised and rehabilitated.

I have damaged my underneath plastic guard on my way home from Homagama (I am not aware of the location because the road conditions were not good at several areas) and I was asked to take a police statement for that. When I asked what the police has to do with the damage to my car (I have not met with an accident nor damaged a public property cz this is the guard UNDERNEATH my car) the customer care person (Ms. Thakshila) did not have a proper answer and she didn't know what she was saying. All I'm saying is I don't know how a police can give a statement for the damage of my car when there is no public concern in this case. When I asked asked Thakshila to put me to a manager/supervisor or engineer to talk to (because she didn't understand what I was saying) she said it's Sunday and I have to talk to someone on Monday. This is by far the worst customer care service I received my entire life.

I was admitted to suwasevana hospital Kandy for a condition called dysuria as per the advice from the doctor under the medical cover of Srilanka insurence after going through my report Doctor advice me to transfer my self to Kandy general hospital for further treatment, I discharged my self and called for the help from the insurer but the agent who visited me was very unprofessional and rejected my claim saying that i was not treated at the hospital. If doctor asked me to transfer myself what should I do, I was kept at the hospital for more than 5hrs where the agent left without giving me a proper solution. I waited at the hospital with my condition. I was harmed physically and mentally. Please do not use Srilanka insurence as your medical cover.
