The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

This business is a rip-off. They have no integrity, respect for their customers, or sense of urgency.

The kicker for me is that we scheduled this to help with one of my daughter's asthma condition, and now calling around virtually everyone is booked and cannot service us.

My wife and I used a deal found on Groupon to schedule air duct cleaning for our home. We purchased from Groupon in September and scheduled a cleaning for October 30th. I recognized that this was a great deal, and was prepared to ask for several additional vents and returns to be inspected and cleaned, resulting in additional revenue for your company.
The week of the 30th we were called and told that the technician who normally services our area was unavailable, and that we needed to reschedule for Nov 12th. I had no issue with this, as technician availability can be spotty.
What is unacceptable is that today, on the 10th of November, we were called and told we are outside the service area. I must point out we fall within the 50 mile radius outlined in the Groupon offer.
My questions are threefold:
1. When were we lied to?
a. When we redeemed the Groupon offer in good faith expecting you to adhere to your own conditions?
b. When we were told the technician was unavailable and we had to reschedule?
c. When your customer rep stated there's nothing we can do about it?

To this time, I have heard nothing from the company. There was not even an apology, the customer service person was curt and short with my wife, and they did not return my calls.

Spirit continued in shameful/despicable performance on LivingSocial. This time, on three separate occasions, their story was, "We can't find your location." As my nephew used to say, "Yeah, right."

It took 3 days of waiting around before these people finally showed up. Then they would not clean our upstairs air ducts as they said it was on a different system. We knew that only one return vent would be cleaned but the first 5 words of the ad say "Cleaning of unlimited air ducts" which means all the ducts in the house. We called the office and he still refused to honor that come-on! Not only should we avoid this company, but it makes me doubt Groupon since they have had so many complaints and still sell this company's coupons!

Buyer Beware! Bought a voucher through plumdistrict(ncrowd) for whole house air duct cleaning through SPIRIT DUCTS with a dryer vent cleaning. Voucher seemed to be a good deal, but there is always a catch. As a first time homeowner I was unaware that the return vents were not part of the deal. I have four of those in my house and they charged $69 each to clean those. Not that great of a deal after paying another $276 plus tax. Just be aware of this and try to find a deal that includes the return vents cleaning also.

I purchased a Groupon for Spirit LLC to come out and clean my air ducts. When they arrived, they tracked mud all over my hardwood floors (most technicians wear a cover over their shoes). Next, instead of pulling my dryer out to clean the vent, the technician climbed over the top and broke the timer. The dryer worked just fine before he climbed over it because he turned it on. After he left, I tried turning on the dryer and it no longer worked. I called Spirit and they had the technician call back. He denied breaking my dryer and said he would call the next day to schedule a time to come back out and access the damage. I never heard from him again. I had to order a new timer and pay over $100 in labor to fix my dryer. I will never do business again with Spirit LLC because they did not bother to follow up on my complaint and they hire unprofessional people to do their work.

Avoid this scam!
I buy this service from groupon back in October 16 2014, they schedule me in Nov and that day they call me they couldn't come for some reason and reschedule on Dec2, OK that day finally two guys came with NO VACUUM, they check on both attic and crawling space and tell me they found a lot of mold and its dangerous to our health and said we need to do the chemical treatment and renew the duct next to the furnace, I don't know these guys really did the chemical treatment cos I recheck there is still dark spot in the system and they charged me extra money for making the new duct also, but they just took the money and gone, never come back or call back, I ask for refund from this spirit company, they said they mail me a check but I never receive anything nor from the guy who came to my house, this guy also have my duct system damage, they cut two big holes in my crawling space and one hole in attic, I have to hire other ppl to fix it and its another few hundreds dollars. AVOID THIS SCAM !

Wish I had checked these reviews before I purchased from Groupon. I bought the package for my son and family on Oct. 27. They had just moved into an older home and want the ducts cleaned before using the furnace. He called on the 28th to schedule an appointment and was told that they were booked until Dec. 1. He explained to them that they have two small children and can't use the furnace until the vents are cleaned. The woman said that was the best she could do. So they've been using electric heaters waiting for 12-1. On Dec. 1, 3 hrs. before the serviceman was to arrive, they called and said 1 was out sick and the one working was behind could they reschedule for the 4th or 5th. My son said no, they wanted him to come no matter what time that night, they had no heat. He was told she would talk to the serviceman and call him back in 20 min. Hours later still no call or serviceman to show. He called that number and went to voicemail. This morning when my son called that number, it had been disconnected! He found another number and it was in San Diego and got the run around there. He cancelled the service and Groupon will give me a refund.

I purchased my group on on 10-3-14 and was told that they could not get me in until 11-24? I took a vacation day to accommodate them. Late Friday night, 11-21 I get a call telling me that they have only one person that can cover Milwaukee and he quit today. I contacted Groupon and they were very good about refunding my money. They did state that they will take a second look at this company and possibly pull the deal. Reading the other reviews, I must ask...? Have they ever actually cleaned anyone's vents?

I had the same thing Happen! I bought the groupon in September and scheduled it for November 14th. Not a word until the morning of November 14th (a day I took vacation from work) I was told the technician had quit and there was no one to service my area. I said that was unacceptable to call me the day of and tell me that and asked for a reschedule. I was then transferred to a "supervisor" who spoke to me like she was 12 years old... I was then told that the technician had an emergency and was unable to service my area. At that point I demanded a reschedule in the next week. She then told me they don't service my area. WHICH IS IT? The "supervisor" did everything she could to get me off the phone and just continuously told me I had to get a refund from groupon, never once apologized. I am not the type to go online and complain but this is the worst customer service I have ever gotten and I work in customer service for one of the world's largest corporations. I will do everything I can to deter people from wasting time, money (and vacation days) on this terrible company.

We had the same thing happen, but it was under another name. Like you, we bought a groupon. Set a time for November 5th, between 3-5 pm.. No one showed. I called and they said that they didn;t have me scheduled. They re-scheduled me for the 12th. I received a call on Sunday the 9th stating that the technician that was in this area had quit. They said that they were re-scheduling for the end of December. I explained that I was moving into a house that really needed the ducts cleaned. They told me that a supervisor would call me the next day. I received no call. When I called them, they said that they could refund my money or re-schedule in December. I asked them to refund my money. Then they said that it would have to be mailed on Thursday, because that is the day they did the refunds. To expect 7-10 days for the mailed refund. Sounds like the same company, different name.
