Found mold in exterior walls. Had contractor over and he noticed that there was NO moisture barrier which is 'Code' for mobile homes. My insurance company sent a rep and he affirmed that there was no water leak from anywhere and that they were not liable for the damage and suggested I contact the manufacturer(Souther Energy). I did so and they sent their rep who spent most of the day here with my contractor and found no water leaks or any other explanation as to the mold problem. He stated that he would contact the home office and ask them to send a crew over to repair both exterior end walls of the double wide. This is now a month old and the manufacturer will not return my phone calls. I am renting a place to stay as the mold/mildew has caused major sinus and lung problems with not only ME but my dog as well.
