Sonic Drive-In bad experience

i am very disappointed with my visit at sonic in Norcross Ga on jimmy carter yesterday.
Me and my family had a really bad experience last night. This sonic has really bad customer service, first we waited like 10 min for somebody to take our order then we waited another 10 min to get our food this is a fast food restaurant i don't understand why they take so long? When finally a girl brought our food to our car she was in a bad mood and was very rude we ask her for some sauces for our chicken strips and popcorn chicken and she role her eyes at me she also took forever to bring our sauces and when we finally got them she wanted to charge us for them...
As far as i know the chicken automatically comes with a sauce i don't know why she was trying to charge us for it maybe because she wanted to keep it as a tip. I don't think that's the right way to make tips.. I always tip but this time i didn't because how i said she was very rude.
I really love y'all food and drinks but i will never return to this sonic again i do not wanna have another bad experience.
I guess im gonna have to go to the other sonic in norcross never been there before but imma have to go try that one.
I do not want to be contacted or anything im just doing this to let y'all know that this is not how you treat a customer.

I visited Sonic on Leeds Al last night 11/5/2017. I ordered a banana split and. a Sonic blast. When the girl brought me my order my banana split was in a cup. When I got home all that was in the cup was strawberry ice cream and whip cream. The taste was so bad I couldn't eat it. The m&m in the sonic blast was so hard my fried could not eat them. It was like throwing away $8.45. I as the girl why was the banana split in a cup she told me that was the way they we serving them now. Her name was Caloline. I was in stall #5.

A few SONIC notes (from a General Manager):
1. Service expectations set forth by SONIC Corp are:
a. Under 3.5 minutes to your car in a stall
b. Under 3 minutes to your car in a drive-thru
c. Your order should be taken via speaker in less than 10 seconds.
2. The appropriate way to prepare food items is TO ORDER. This is not to say that base products are not kept prepared in appropriate quantities based on business levels. I.E. If you order a SONIC Cheeseburger with Mayo, no onion then this item is prepared with a fresh bun (toasted to order), dressed after you order, with a meat patty that is already prepared.
3. Chicken should not be cooked after order in most locations as long as business is good. The chicken takes approximately 5 minutes to cook and would exceed the time limit if not pre-cooked and held.
4. Holding food product is a common procedure in restaurants of all kinds, formal and quick-service, and provides a better quality product in most cases.

Bottom Line: 10 minutes to order plus 10 minutes to get food is WAY outside the acceptable limits. As I mentioned, you should be greeted within 7 seconds of pressing the button and be receiving food in about 4 minutes or less.

Side Note: Although our carhops do, in most cases, make tip wages tipping is NOT required or suggested. We ask that you tip your wait staff ONLY if you receive excellent service. Carhop tips are monitored daily in my drive-in and are used to determine the carhop's success in customer service excellence. Low tips correlates with bad service, etc.

Side Note 2: Most operators don't fish the Internet for feedback from customers. If the issue is pressing, I recommend calling 1-866-OK-SONIC or visiting www.sonicdrivein.com. Either way will deliver your feedback to the appropriate personnel equipped to resolve the issue.

I believe Sonic cooks the food after they receive the order so it is not, in the true sense of the word a "fast food" restaurant. They probably had to deep fry those fritters just for you.

I've never heard of someone going to Sonic for chicken thingees...you go there for the hamburges and at least in my experience, for hot dogs. Maybe it's a Southern thing.

Sonic Drive-In repulsive employee

Sonic is one of THE WORST companies to deal with when something is wrong! I have searched all over the Internet for some kind of head office email I could send my complaint into and NOTHING! This shows their employees that they don't have to care about the job. Which infact is the reason I wanted to get ahold of head office in the first place ! My daughter has twitter and she showed me a picture of a employee from sonic named Sarah Mauch wearing her Sonic uniform in THEIR bathroom with her bare ### out! Sarah posted this picture on her twitter account sarah_mauch and sent it to hunter Moore. A guy who has thousands and thousands of followers and he reposts pictures of naked girls. I am absolutely disgusted ! This company needs to step up its game. My close friend owns her own company and I know she would not allow her employees to act in such a repulsive way ESPECIALLY in their work uniform! I will be telling EVERYONE I know about this and how sonic doesn't have any way of me contacting them. I hope they loose a lot of business over this and maybe re consider the people they hire!

This is absolutely stupid. The very idea that SONIC could police what goes in behind a closed restroom door is absurd to say the least. It would cause a HUGE liability issue if the management were to know this took place in the restroom using their own means, as it would violate privacy rights. Considering the nature of Twitter and Facebook and how employees tend to conduct themselves online (wanting no contact with the boss), there is a very low probability that they would come to know something like this via the Internet. Its not like she is going to send the photo to SONIC and say "Hey, look what i did in your restroom!".

Firing her for this would prove to be difficult if the law were to become involved considering the nature of privacy a restroom provides. Judges and lawyers would like to know, if this girl sued for this, how one came to possess such an image and if it may have been obtained through nefarious means, like cameras in the restrooms (which surely you know is ILLEGAL).

Finally, SONIC does provide a way to contact them. Had you visited sonicdrivein.com (which is the top search result on Google when searching sonic drive in) you would see a contact us link that can be used to send all this in via web form. Alternatively, you could have called 1-866-OK-SONIC, as is printed on every bag, cup, receipt, and menu board to tender your feedback.

Its not too late to do so. And, against all legal implications, the drive-in she works at would most probably fire her for this. They most likely would have done so if you would have simply contacted them directly. Please stop victimizing yourself by saying that SONIC doesn't offer contact info. That is false, plain and simple. You just didn't try hard enough to find the info so you started trolling around here like it was going to make a difference. Go ahead and waste your time doing nothing about it so she can continue to take half-nude photos behind closed doors to share with her on people on Twitter. Heck, while your at it, why don't you start blaming Twitter for letting her upload the photo? Why not, right?

Grow up and start acting like the adult you're supposed to be, please ma'am. If you want something done, you have to take a little more initiative for yourself...

You have a genuine complaint... you're getting nowhere with it... So you decide to take out your petty revenge by targeting one individual and naming and shaming her... be very very careful with this.

Re-posting and distributing offensive material is one offence, naming that individual is another. Why not go for a 3rd offence and make it easier for the judge.

Sonic Drive-In order accuracy and cash handling

We ordered 2 RT 44 Rootbeers with EZ ice. They were great. However, we also ordered 1 dollar menu item: a Jr Cheeseburger Deluxe. The total was $3.88 (we had a RT 44 coupon) and we waited about 10 minutes for our order. From there, we paid the carhop $5.88 and said she could keep a dollar. She returned no change to us at all and as We drove off, I was eating into the burger, and there was NO CHEESE?!?! Nope, done with Sonic...

Were you charged for cheese? Most jr dlx burgers are orders sans cheese. So that May have been the issue. D she probably just didn't do her math right. Feel free to just say "miss you just owe me one dollar back" and she's respond "oh I'm so sorry that my fault"

Sonic Drive-In unfair treatment and discrimination

First of all the managers runnin the store cuss and treat certain employees and treat certain people different and show favoritism. Recently a manager had cussed me we had meetin and things was supposed to change, well guess what when you go into work it's like walking into a club when I come in darci is nowhere to be found with her click not to mention she called me fat one day and nothin was done about it . Terrance cussed me one du and had even started to come around the corner to fight me, a girl, nothin has been done bout it either. Recently when I was not at work not on the clock on my own time police caught me with small bag of weed and guess who gets fired not surprised lance said that's why I'm fired. What haopened had nothing to do with work I had even called and talked to darci bout what haopened I would have only missed that day. Lance has a family working in the kitchen tho that all sale weed Donald Terrance dee dee not to mention him and Terrance caged a fraud check FBI got involved but as usual everything was swept under the rug. All these guys sale weed at worn and take fourty min breaks to go home and smoke weed or go across the street to specks to smoke. Well I have been talkin to a lawyer bc I come in do my job everyday I can get in trouble for sneezing the wrong way and get lances click can go jail walk work from jail days later and have a job smoke at work sale at work and yet they are his favorites I get in trouble one time not even at work and that's an excuse fire me wanna know why bc EVERYTIME I get treated or talked to like a dog I will tell someone higher up keep from fighting .. Sonic Drive-In everything is wrong with this place.

Okay, first off, I will say that I am submitting this anonymously because the fact that they have inmates working there and I don't even know what they did to be put in prison in the first place. The thing is, some of the inmates seem like cool people, in fact, I didn;t find out that we had an inmate program until my third week of work. That should be illegal, if it's not already. If it is, I wouldn't put it past the GM, Dave. He talks inappropriately to employees, treats them like garbage, and is, in all seriousness, an ###. He changes schedules when he feels like it and if you can't show up, you're fired. There is even a DOOR that if and employee opens it they are FIRED ON THE SPOT. Wanna know where the door leads? Outside. Just outside. He works some employees to a breaking point and then doesn't let some employees work for weeks or even months.
Sick of this.

Lol I no longer work there. To be honest. I made all this up. I was fired because I spread rumors around the restaurant that Dave had sex with 15 year old girls because I was angry at him. I made lies about the other people being immates becaue they are the ones who reported me for lying. They said I was creating a "hostile" work environment and fired me.

Sonic Drive-In not fair anymore...

I have talked my GM about my concerns of having to clock out and then finish working.. I have been doing it for nearly TWO YEARS NOW, when I spoke with my boss about how I am losing money, her words were, " that's just how its always been." I am done losing money, everyone that closes is being cheated. How do I go about getting back what I am owed and making SURE there is a different method of closing at work?
Nearly every time I close, on average, I work OFF the clock for 20 minutes. Not much money until its added up, LET ALONE if this 20 minutes is OVER-TIME. In all honesty, she is not a very good GM.

if you really dont want to work off the clock then put your foot down and say if i clock out then im done working. this being said though you will more than likely have your hours cut and eventually lose your job. if you really want to get anywhere sonic is not the place to be. many people work off the clock and as unfair as it is, most companies do this unless you are contracted in which you dont have a time clock you work at your own time but you better make sure you get the job done in the time allotted. or you can find a job in which you dont mind working off the clock because you are doing something productive that you feel good about and that you will still get a feeling of accomplishment out of. i dont think you get that at sonic.

Sonic Drive-In low hours and bullying

I have worked at sonic for 5 years and I have never endured the type of treatment that I am recieveing now. We have a new manager and she treats me and some of the employers like we are nothing. I was working 5 days a week, now I am only working 1 or 2 days a week for 2 or 3 hours a day. The manager bullies me often. I hate the way she threatens me about the job.

Working at a fast food restaurant is a lot like high school except you get a few dollars to do it.Along with the bad economy, the manger could be the problem. My boyfriend works at Subway and he had little hours the first month he worked there and now with a new manager he has close to full time hours.

Sonic Drive-In general manager harassment

Ok I have worked at Sonic Drive In for 5 years and everything was fine until we got a new general manager. He came in and just treated everybody horrible. Always yelling. It was not a good environment to work in. He would talk about girls like they were just toys. One time he told me he hired a girl just because she had an ###. And he hired another girl because she had nice legs. That made me so uncomfortable. One thing I will never forget is the sexual harassment I endured there. I was walking back to the cooler to get some lines to cut, he was doing something in the back and I walk out of the refrigerator minding my own business and he was behind me and he kicked my buttas hard as he could. Think of kicking a soccer ball as hard as you can and that's how hard he kicked me. I had a bruise the next day. His store is going downhill and he is blaming it on everybody but himself. He schedules himself to work and won't show up, or he'll show up 2 hours later after a big rush and then he gets made about how times are high when it was actually his fault for not showing up. I think immediate action needs to happen or more girls are going to feel more uncomfortable and the store is just going to eventually close it is that slow. Please do something about this.

Sonic Drive-In watered-down soft drinks

Sonic's soft drinks have become the worst this summer, I thought it might be my happy hour drinks that were watered down but ordered a Dr. Pepper yesterday at 11am and it was the worst yet. It doesn't seem to matter which location in the OKC area.
My suspicions were confirmed when we traveled to the northeast part of OK recently and I ordered a Dr. Pepper and it was the best I've had in a very long time. Guess I will do the convenience store drinks from now on as they are always "happy hour price". Just wondered if anyone had noticed.

Sonic Drive-In order taker doesnt know how to take an order

On Aug. 7th 2012 at 6:05 I took my family to the sonic drive on pine and peoria, Tulsa ok 74110 I tried to order food the first thing I ordered was a kids cheese burger nothing special to it after the fifth time the order finally understood what I needed then I ordered two different hotdogs then tried to get a number six chilling coney and the kid started arguing with me saying I already ordered I tried to explain there was more to the order and he kept getting my irate and ran outside to yell at me instead of fighting in front of my kids. I just left I think all the employees need to be drug tested, but might lose all of the employees at that location. The kid was a young black male, early to mid 20 about 5'9"-6'

Sonic Drive-In general managers

i currently work at sonic drI've in in Broken Arrow Oklahoma. I've been working here for about two months next week, and the general manager of the store has been overhirring and hasn't been putting a few people on the schedule properly. one of those is a crew member and he's been there for quite some tI'me now and hasn't had the proper training, which in this case hasn't been trained for switchboard, and hasn't been properly trained for car hopping and has been car hopping and put on "tip wage". most of her carhops has been and are on 'tip wage" and lucky me is on it too. when her carhops are tip wage she puts them behind the counter and tells us we cant carhop for a week. i think this is ridiculous i mean how are we supposed to get off 'tip wage when we're behind the counter working crew? i like working at sonic as a carhop and everything but the GM IS NOT doing a good job at her job. when shes working in the store with everyone she over schedules everyone and its extremely crowded in the store. when its over crowded she puts waayyy tooo many carhops on the schedule then later on she complains about it. and when she over schedules everyone and when there's too many frickin carhops that day, scans get stolen, many gets taken, and people come up very short. its happened to be once because of this one carhop who liked to stand in front of the scanner and would scan every one's card and not tells us about it then take out the orders that weren't hers. one night i came up short because- i know this for a fact- she took my scan card for about 10 minutes and then it reappeared after i reprinted one again. so this ticked me off. shes done it to other carhops before and shes not the only carhop whose been caught stealing, its her and another carhop who was caught straight up in her lies, and she still works there after being caught lying to everyone. recently the GM has hired 3 new people; one who is a manager and has been working for sonic for 3 years, one who worked there 9 years ago and doesn't remember switchboard and is being let carhop, and one who is extremely new at working-shes a teen- but her and the GM seem to know each other. the GM should've just stopped hiring when she hired the new manager. i know people who could have a job right now at sonic that were way ahead of these people. recently the GM has been making the schedule then texting or calling her employees that shes changed the schedule at the very last minute. she does this to me all the tI'me so i say yeah sure when i can go in at a different tI'me, but when she texts me about a different tI'me to come in at and I'm not feeling good i tell her " i cant I'll be coming in at my original tI'me you put me for." she even does it to me when i have my days off. it ticks me off pretty bad and I'm not one of those girls who have short temp or anger issues, I'm actually pretty sweet and extremely nice to people, I'm always smiling no matter what, i make everyone laugh and stuff... but my GM tells everyone that I'm "mean and that i roll my eyes at her" I'm not mean and I've never rolled my eyes at her once. i even try o make her smile and laugh it just doesn't seem to work on her! i love working at my sonic but i think it needs a NEW GENERAL MANAGER. My aunts have worked at the same store in the past and they had a way better general manager. She's been getting on everyones last nerve and i mean EVERYONE. i made this complaint because our GM isnt doing a good job at her job and doesnt know what shes doing. im also making this because shes over hiring and sending people home when they were at work first before all these other people.

I worked at Sonic(101st and elm, B.A.) around August 2012 and the manager wanted me to say I got more tips then I actually did so she(angela) could pay me less. If I didn't say I got more tips than I actually did, I would get suspended. It's also true about the schedule, and the car hops stealing orders. It took me several weeks just to get hired there, but she will hire illegal immigrants on the spot. When I was hired I wasn't even trained, they just expected me to jump in and know what to do.

I work at this same sonic and I have been working there for over a year. I love the job and the crew. Although it is true that people get shorted, the original poster should NOT of given her card to someone, and should of been watching her orders. The over scheduling can be a problem but it is because most of our crew are high school students and can only work certain times. So, is it more fair not to let those people have hours due to the number of people we have? It's too bad that you can't see that the GM is really working hard to make the store better. And it's childish and low to complain about it online without giving people ALL the information.

I apologise for that. Usually during happy hour, it is the most busy time. Im unaware of how their fountain area is set up but with all icecream machines there are two sides. A icecream side with serves soft icecream and another side which serves hard ice cream for blasts, cones, sundays or banana splits. When in excessive use it takes awhile to freeze back up. Same goes for the slush machine as for the fountain carbinated drinks...they are always good to go. This would explain the delay but none the less a carhop should have come out to give you your cheeseburger and explain it would be a little while longer. As for the cheeseburger im unsure how to explain that situatuon. Im sure the carhop got confused and if it was on a timecruch and busy she might have been too rushed and wasnt able to comprehend exactly what you said.

Unbelievably rude people! They apparently can find only kids...kids that are school drop-outs. Screwed up our order, and when we verified it with them, they treated us as if we had the issue. We weren't rude...we weren't mean...just simply asked if our order had been taken down accurately, because what the girl repeated back was not what we had ordered. Just childish, idiotic, immature, and rude people. We WILL NOT be back.

I really can't tell you what Kris looks like- thanks to stories my husband told me about how much cleanliness matters to this particular Sonic (it doesn't matter at all), I could never get enough desire to risk food posioning to eat there. And if I was dropping or picking my husband up from work, I never went inside with him. I think he was in his thirties, balding, average height and build- I never talked to him or got a close up look of him. Out of curiousity- why do you want to know what he looked like?

Sonic Drive-In bad service, messed up order and had a bite taken out of food

I ordered a simple meal at sonic drive thru on the night of march 28th 2012. I had ordered a foot long coney and 2 deluxe burgers when our order was brought to us the coney was not a foot long when asked to exchange for a foot long we were givin attitude and told we would be charged a larger amount for the meal. my boyfriend went into the establishment to exchange the food and was told a lie that we had ordered something different which was not the truth. I had gone in to the establishment at this time and asked to speak with a manager. I was informed there was not one on duty and the only manager only works during the day. I then asked for a number to cantact a manager or the store owner. I was told that they are not allowed to give the phone numbers out. I then asked for the store number and the employees name. he tried to scribble down the store # and leave the name off so I had to rewrite the store # and the employee christians name myself. after leaving the location I had my boyfriend check our burgers and one had a bite taken out of it. I am so dissatisfied with this sonic everytime I eat at this location my order is messed up my last experience I was given a chile cheese coney without chili.

I'm actually employed and yes I have a good job you should just stay out of this unless your the person who took the bite from the burger and you work their as well. You are obviously someone with nothing to do or you would not keep commenting on something that does not concern you. So run off get a job and mind your business unless you have something helpful to say. I posted this hoping someone who has morals and respect wouldn't go through the same thing I had to. I did not post this to be put down or called a lier so like I said if you have nothing helpful to say butt out.

I could care less about the free meal. people like you must do this a lot then I dont. if i did why would i complain over a meal under $20 its the fact of the matter. if I'm paying for a meal i expect to be able to at least eat the meal and if I'm paying my order should be correct as well.

Every once in a while, I forget why I don't go to this Sonic, but each time I do, I am quickly reminded. The food is always gross. Dry bread, cold fries fried in dirty oil, yuck! Now that Sonic is promising food in 5 min or free, there will never be a hot fry again, oh well there is always other places to go.

Also if you are a parent have you never told your baby to shut the f*** up and stop crying because you are tired because your throat was sore. Have you ever told a boyfriend to f*** off. My boyfriend whom I had the baby with(not the one who was with me) is a lying ### himself. Saying that I am unfit to be a mother so the courts decided the child should live with him. He saw a bruise on our child(which was caused by accident) and they said I am abusing the child. I admit that I lost control at that time. I reassured the courts it would not happen again but they took his side.

Sonic Drive-In bad service

On March 25, 2012 my husband and I stopped at the sonic . We tried to place and order and no one came on to take the order. We continued to wait and finally stopped one of the girls delivering food to ask if the button was working. She told us no that they were behind on their service and stopped taking orders until they got caught up inside. After waiting more then 15 minutes someone finally takes our order. Not apologizing for our wait or explaining the problem which was rude. We placed the order then to wait another 20 minutes to get the order. How can a drive in stop taking orders ? We counted at least 7 people inside the place that did not include the two girls working out side delivering food. Now ithe smart thing to do would be put someone the workers standing inside in the cool help the girls delivering the food. We love sonic bit this was the worse sonic I have ever been too. Please send someone there to train and help manage the business because the services sucks . We will never stop there again . Next time we will stop at the McDonald's right next door and hope for better service. Thanks
I will be waiting for a response from you .

STOPPED BY SONIC THIS EVENING TO GET MY LIL GIRLS A MINI BLAST AND MY WIFE A COKE FLOAT. AFTER 40 MINUTES OF WATCHING PEOPLE PULL IN AFTER ME AND GET BAGS OF FOOD DELIVERED TO THEM I STOPPED A CAR HOP TO ASK WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS NO ANSWER. NOW REMEMBER 2 MINI BLASTS AND A COKE FLOAT. SHE WAS SO RUDE I THINK THEY CLEARED MY ORDER. THIS WAS IN WATONGA, OK. THEY JUST BUILT A NEW BUILDING AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. I DISMISSED THE FIRST TIME BECAUSE OF THE NEW COMPUTERS BUT TWICE NOT ACCEPTABLE. WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. WATCHED THE SAME CAR HOP DROP A HOT DOG ON THE GROUND AND DELIVER IT TO A CUSTOMER ANYWAYS, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Sonic Drive-In sweet tots

I wanted to try your new Sweet Potato Tots, so I ordered them and they are $2.50, I know that's not a lot of money...It is when you only get 12 tots. Carhop (Not mine, she had already gone back inside, I stopped another one) she said that is the small order. Need to either lower the price or add more tots. They were VERY good, but I doubt that I will get them again because of the amount you get for cost.
Store # 3408, ticket # 388, Station 03A.

Carhops only get paid 3.13 in texas lady, and a lot of other places.
We are getting payed 60 more cents an hour than your sweet potato tots.

ALWAYS TIP

It was rude of you to bring it up to the carhop. You knew the price. You could have asked how many tots came in it. That's your responsibility, not the carhop's, not Sonic's. The carhop does not magically control the prices. There is nothing a little entry-level wageslave can do about the price of something in a huge corporation. If you want to actually do something about it, then call corporate, or vote with your dollars.

$2.50 is about 20 cents a tot. If that's too much for you, then you don't have to buy it.

Wow, that bites. You should go to their website and put in a complaint. They should have apologized to you and told you to come up and replace the ice cream sundaes as a courtesy the next time you visit. KFC totally screwed up my order (I paid for large popcorn and large mac and cheese and got small and my snackers were missing cheese and the bread was so hard it stuck to the chicken), I took one of those surveys on the receipts, put my opinions on the site. I got a call within an hour from the manager offering to replace my ENTIRE order and gave me a $5 gift certificate. I wasn't expecting all of that, I was just expecting them to credit my order or replace the snackers.

Sonic Drive-In menu change and poor service

I was in love with the sonic croissants until recently. They still show the picture of what they used to sell but when you get it, instead of the egg patty, you get this mutilated liquid egg thing thats paper thin and full of pepper and pieces of burger off the grill. I tried to make a complaint about it on the complaint line while I was sitting waiting for my order. While I was on the line waiting for 25 minutes the order never arrived so I pressed the button to ask where it was and the employee asked me "What order?" I was so frustrated that after waiting 25 min I said forget it and left.

McDonald's does a liquid egg properly Sonic doesn't. They cook it on the same grill as the burger, so you end up with lots of burger fat remnants inside the egg. It's pretty disgusting. It isn't even folded where I'm from. It's over peppered, thin and hard like a big piece of paper they didn't fold and full of burger fat. If they would just wipe the grill that would probably help.

Since this thread has a few managers in it could I ask a question? I am a die hard sonic fan. I eat at the local sonic way too often to be honest and recently there has been alot of change. The egg patties for the croissants aren't patties anymore it's paper thin liquid egg with tons of pepper, the hot dogs are these cheapo hot dogs I'd buy in the grocery store ect. Is this everywhere or is it just something this particular owner has done to cut down on costs? The signs still show the normal items but when you place the order you don't get what's on the picture anymore. Thanks.

hmm well I'm not sure i can agree. i love the new egg. its a liquid egg folded and is no different from what you would purchase at a grocery store and cook at home. how do you argue with that? guess some just cant be satisfied. personally i think Sonic rocks and i love the egg! keep the great changes coming!
