Sonic Drive-In operating partner. bobbie azevedo

I used to work at the Sonic Drive-In In Choctaw, Oklahoma. The operating partner Bobbie Azevedo is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered or worked for. I served in the military and in Basic Training I received more respect then I ever did from her. The woman is unstable. She has a horrible pill addiction. which she claims to be "Rumors" yet she's bought pills from half the employees there. She disappears to buy a "redbull" all the time even when she already has one in the store. She passed out in the employee bathroom for 3 hours once. This isn't hard to believe, especially with her extensive criminal background. I have absolutely no idea how she even got the job. She really should be investigate. I'm not the first to make a complaint.

My son is currently working at sonic and today he had an eye appointment and they dilated his eyes. I know from personal experience that you have a really hard time seeing when the Dr.does this. Well my son was told by one manager that the other manager told him if he didn't come in he would loose his job. Yes my son has been late due to everyone working 3rd shift in our home and he doesn't have his own car yet but he has hardly missed any days since he started there. So I called and talked to the one that is there tonight and be puts all the blame for my son being there tonight which probably isn't safe for him on the GM and the other manager. I am contacting corporate tomorrow and I am contacting the GM! If my son is hurt for being there tonight because he was afraid to loose his job I will sue Sonic Drive In.

Sonic Drive-In wasted gas, no receipt and overpriced

My family and I went to Sonic located on Wabash in Springfield, Illinois on 9/30/2015. The price was wrong until I reached the window. Then we didn't receive our receipt until I asked for it. Come to find out they had thrown it away and tried to pass me the dirty receipt from the garbage can. By this time, I am very displeased and voice my opinion on the matter. The female manager was rude and I informed her that I will be calling the corporate office and making a formal complaint. I called the store and talked to the head manager on duty and informed him of the situation at hand. He only offered some free combo coupons but wouldn't replace my gas that was wasted sitting in their drive-thru! I AM BEYOND PISSED ABOUT THIS INCIDENT AND WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THAT SONIC EVER AGAIN!

lol ummm they shouldn't have to refund your gas. it was your option to choose the drive thru. you could have easily pulled into a stall, and turned off your car. you could have also went to the patio.

Sonic Drive-In employees fighting

We stopped at Sonic Drive-in in Hinesville, Ga. at 2:45p.m. today, September 26, 2015. There were two cars ahead of us. After about 5 min. the first car was asked for their order, then they got the next car and ours. After about 15 min. we were the second in line when we started hearing loud voices. The voices started sounding like an argument and got louder and louder and I realized it was coming from inside the building. Finally we could hear male and female voices yelling and screaming in anger. I pulled out of line and stopped beside the truck in front of me. I asked the driver if he could see if anyone was throwing things yet, and he said he did not know. We left. We will not be going back...the service has been getting very bad the last couple of months anyway. I sincerely hope no one was hurt, because I did not call the police...maybe I should have.

Sonic Drive-In rude sales associate

I went thru the drive thru and ordered Cheese Sticks with Marinara. I did not check my order before leaving however I drove straight to work and when I opened my bag there was no Marinara in the bag. I drove back and went thru the drive thru and a young lady by the name of Abby waited on me at the window. When I explained to her that I did not have any sauce she looked straight at me and said "I put it in the bag myself". I explained to her I did not have any sauce when I left and she again told me that she did it herself. So I explained to her that I did not steal her Mariana and to just refund me my money. She then said, I can just give you more sauce. I can assure you I did not steal Sonic's sauce Abby made me feel like I was being dishonest with her. I was not rude to her or upset that the sauce had been left out of my bag, I just wanted it to eat my lunch. I would recommend some training be put in place for associates to learn how to deal with customers so not to make then feel like they are dumb. I can promise you that I will make sure that everyone in this small town knows of Abby's poor customer service thru social media and interaction with customers at my employer. I will not be visiting this establishment again until I know that Abby no longer works there. I apologize as I do not know her last name.

Sonic Drive-In manager complaint

I'm a regular customer at Sonic In Anderson, SC On East Greenville Street & I go get a large sweet tea every time I go. Sometimes it takes a second but sometimes it takes 15-20 minutes for me to get my tea beacause there is always a man at the window talking to people in front of me. I don't mind it some days but I have to work & I can't get out of drive-thru sometimes because of his incessive talking.

Sonic Drive-In getting the order wrong, no sauce for chicken, no ketchup, etc

Hello,
This is the fifth time we went to the sonic drive thru as my grandson enjoys it No matter when we go or if we pull in for the car hop service or just drive thru they always get the order wrong or forget something. However, today was it. We went thru the drive thru and the girl spoke so fast we could barely understander her. She repeated our order but we could not check because the screen was broken. We received our order and proceeded to go home. We ordered a foot long hot dog but received a regular one we asked for large tater tots and got small but we're charged for large. We order a large popcorn chicken with French fries but got a small order with the sogginess fries I ever tasted we were again charged for a large. We asked for 2 ranch sauces and we're not given any as well as the ketchup When you spent close to $20 for lunch I want my order to be perfect. I work hard for my money and I don't want to just give it away or see it wasted I should not have to go into the store to guarantee that I am getting what I paid for drive thrus are a convienance, are they not? This horrible experience happened at the sonic in Middletown NY on route 211. It was about 12:30pm and the girl spoke so incredible fast I couldn't understand her name the date was 9/20/15 Please contact me in regard to this complaint My name is Jayne and my number is [protected]. Thank you for your prompt attention

Sonic Drive-In giving small containers for the medium price at happy hr even?

Friend &myself still liked sonic, until a 14dollar bill was served, with small drinks &products. We called & spoke about chk 170&the management in Kyle, Tx told us we ordered the snacks, when we ordered& paid for mediums!.He actually kept trying to convince us his receipt said snacks, while ours said mediums!.but he admitted rite there!. Wonder if he (mngr in Kyle, Tx over this 1here too) recognized that, but then said call back.. That was when he kept trying to convince again, about these 14$ really supposed to be mediums, but only given as "snacks" the manager called out, on speaker, the same way, Sonic has. Thanx Sonic. So now that's 2 customers. i wonder if they actually gave the consumer the real, right price, wouldn't they want to stay for a shake?..and then return again too?.

Sonic advertised on T.V that they had 1/2 price milkshakes after 8:00.
Went to Sonic's Sept. 1 at 8:30, ordered a milkshake and was told it was $4.00 I inquired about the half price and she stated that it had ended the evening before. I told her that it would be my last visit to Sonic.

Sonic Drive-In milford ct location

I came to dine in at your Milford location on 8/28/2015 and the disrespect that I witnessed from your manager to her employees was absolutely atrocious. I have also witnessed this on 5 other occasions with the same manager and other employees but her behavior at my last visit was enough. The employees at this location look like teenagers and they deserve respect and not to be belittled in front of customers. I asked 1 employee( who's name I will not disclose) what her name was and she said "Carissa the assistant manager, and she also stated that this is the type of behavior that they all have to endure on a daily basis, and she also let me know about the frequent employee turnaround at this location because of this treatment." If there is nothing done about this type of treatment I will be forced to contact channel 12 news and have them come in and investigate, It really seems like the child labor laws of CT are definitely being disregarded at this specific location. I will continue to monitor the treatment of employees at this location and document my findings so please be sure to get it taken care of IMMEDIATELY. And by the way there is also an increased fly problem in this location so I would also hate to have to contact the health department about this issue as well.

Sonic Drive-In speaker not working

We stopped for drinks before leaving Manhattan for home. I tried to order several times and decided that the speaker must not be working. I moved over to another station and placed an order. When the car hop delivered our order I informed him that the speaker in the next station wasn't working. He said that they had been having trouble with it all day. There was no sign or even a note on the order board informing us of this. While we were waiting another car pulled in to the station with the broken speaker and the driver was pushing the button trying to order. After telling the car hop of our trouble and that there was another driver trying to order he walked back to the building right past the other car without saying anything. We then informed the driver of the other car of the problem. I thought it was very uncalled for to let someone sit by a broken speaker when the car hop knew of the problem and was walking right by the waiting car.

Sonic Drive-In tyrell - carhop

I went to sonic on Thursday July 2 2015, everyone was very nice, the young lady taking my order was polite, but the car hop Tyrells eyes were blood shot red and he was rude and had a very bad attitude, he looked as if he was on drugs.. I will never visit this sonic again because of the service he provided, he snatched the money out of my hand and didn't even give me my change back, just walked away as if he earned that as a tip, he was so unprofessional, I will be giving bad reviews to my fellow sonic goers about this experience, I love sonic and happy hour drinks, but the service I was given was inexcusable

Sonic Drive-In general manager

To whom it may concern:
I am a current employee at the Grove sonic #2090.
I wish to stay anonymous due to the repercussions that may occur. I assure you that I do not know all of the stipulations or limitations to the profession you or your general managers are in but it is not hard for one to tell what is moral and what is not. The general manager of this store (#2090), Megan Boyle, has performed many immoral acts of conduct towards and around her current and past employees. I, myself have been working under her for a significant amount of time to experience these occurrences personally. The following is some of the occurrences and situations that I have seen or personally been apart of:
• Megan Boyle has taken it upon herself to verbally threaten her employees and there has been one occurrence of the threats getting physical.
• Megan Boyle has lack of leadership and still presents herself as she is a 16 year old in high school.
• Megan Boyle has brought and continues to bring her personal relations to work and involves her employees.
• Megan Boyle has taken many of the employees off of the schedule or cut their hours because she has a personal problem with them.
• Megan Boyle has said a numerous amount of inappropriate things about and directly to her employees ranging from threats as stated above or conversations that involves sexual instances.
• Megan Boyle has brought and continues to bring her personal relations to her place of work. She has even brought her child up her and expected the employees to watch him as she takes her managers outside and conducts a meeting.
• Megan Boyle has shown an extreme amount of favoritism towards certain employees that I will not name due to confidentiality.
• Megan Boyle has taken it upon herself to take her managers well earned weekends off to fulfill her wishes.
• Megan Boyle has not properly informed her employees of the promotional texts that get sent around and the employees are blamed for the bad day the store has endured.
• Megan Boyle has changed the food order or has not order the correct amount that the store needs to fulfill the customers need so that she receives a food cost bonus.
• Megan Boyle gets very upset and shows her emotion to the employees when a mystery shop is not done correctly to receive a 100% because she does not receive her bonus.
• Megan Boyle has time and time again told her employees that they were worthless and incompetent.
• Megan Boyle has scheduled herself 12 hour shifts and only stayed 1/3 of it, leaving the store short a person several times.
• Megan Boyle does not come in and take care of her store as a general manager should. There was an incident on June 28, 2015; one of her managers had walked out and quit and the manager on duty called Megan, as they should because she is suppose to be the general manager but instead of coming in and taking care of business as she is paid too, she informed the manager that she was out of town and more concerned about her own person sexual relations to come into her store and deal with the problem at hand.
I am not sending you this message out of hostility but because these situations have gone on way to long. This not only affects my job but everyone else around her. When Megan Boyle comes into work with her personal relations has her main concern, the store does not run like it should because she distracts her employees from what they are paid to do. Megan has also denied raises to employees that have exceed the expectations given to them and these said employees have been her for 12-19 months. I am sorry if you feel this is a waste of your time but I really love my job and I know the others do also. When I come into my place of work, I expect to work and do as is expected of me to earn my pay; I do not expect to come in and get treated in a immoral way or learn about my boss' personal relations.

Thanks for your time!
Sincerely,
a concerned employee of store #2090

Sonic Drive-In People not working there going in barefoot not washing hands making drinks

I stopped to order milkshakes for my family after 8:00. While waiting we seen a man with no shoes on, after smoking a cigarette, enter sonic and go to the drink machine and proceed to make 2 large drinks. In the meantime another man not working there was going in and out several times. I did not see either man wash their hands. So I informed the waitress, after pushing the button that we did not want our shakes for these reasons and that I was going to contact the main headquarters about it.

Sonic Drive-In treatment of employees who are minors

My little 16 year old sister got a job there not but a week ago, she started yesterday on her training which consisted of her standing in front of a computer with no break from 10 am to 3pm, there was no sound to hear the training videos and no chair to sit in. Not only could she not hear the videos to understand what's expected of her at work, but she then had to take tests on what she was supposed to learn, causing her to guess on her answers. She started actually working today, and they stuck her right on drive thru and told her she wouldn't be left alone and she'd be going home anywhere between 3-5 and it was unlikely that she'd be there till 5. Not only did they leave her alone DURING HAPPY HOUR, but she didn't get clocked out till 6 pm. She had no break in this 8 hour shift, and she was stuck at drive thru the entire time. She had a manager throw buns at her while she was helping a customer at the window, another one told her to tell a customer the 6" hot dog was a "little weiner", and didn't cut the crap when she asked if her manager was being serious, so not only did she embarrass my sister, but also the company. She was even called a b**** by a customer. And finally, at the end of the night, they counted her register money and she was 80 - some dollars short, which obviously wasn't her because she was using a calculator all day long, so after trying to pin it on her and failing because she defended herself, they told her not to worry about it for now and they'd try to "figure it out". They've had problems in the past with some of the managers stealing from the registers. If this doesn't get pushed on someone else, because they stole, then that goes on my sisters plate.
Her first day actually working she left crying, and the cherry on top of her screwed up Sonic Milkshake was that she had to walk home in the rain. No employee deserves to feel this way. Especially a 16 year old.

I'm 16 and sonic is my first job. I've been here 4 or 5 months now. It's a terrible work environment honestly, and my first month I went home crying a lot. I have ended up short many times, due to being stole from. (Ex. I scan for an order worth $23.00 and we are really busy and another carhop takes out that order, I am now 23.00 short what I owe, and they just made 23.00 of what they will cal "Tips". After calling corporate and having my whole sonic put back in check, things are running more smoothly. No one at my sonic knows it was me who called and had the rules changed. Being 16 years old, your managers/ other carhops who are older think they can take advantage of you. Your sister needs to not let them take advantage of her. If she keeps ending up short, call corporate. They sorted it out for me.
When she drops, they should tell her exactly how much she owes and she should give them that and only that. Anything she has left in her wallet besides her basics is her ️Tips.

Look your sister is 16 years old not three years old isn't it about time she fight her own battles instead of have you baby her. Also you were not there so you had no way to know if the events actually happened or not. If your sister is old enough to work she needs to grow up and stand up for herself instead of crying to you, That means she needs to get out of her diaper and write her own review.

Sonic Drive-In slow service and incorrect order

Spent over an hour just to receive a two-burger combo order, one of which took 3 attempts, and it still was not correct. Was told they were short-staffed as an excuse for their slowness. The manager looked like a 19-year old kid. Not saying that 19 year old people cannot manage a restaurant, but this dude didn't give a crap or he would have stepped outside and apologized for the sorry service. He just gave me a go-to-hell look. This was the second consecutive time I have encountered this same experience at the Chelsea, AL, location over a 2-month period. The restaurant was not even full of customers, so I don't know why it took an hour to get two orders to my vehicle. The Sonic management team needs to send someone with some skills and maturity to whip that location into shape or they will definitely lose my business and many others. If Sonic needs my management help, all they have to do is ask. I do not have a problem getting people to do what they are supposed to do and be kind to them in the process.

Sonic Drive-In 1/2 price after 8:00pm

Last night I decided to go to Sonic to get 4 milkshakes. I have been seeing the commercial on TV that they are 1/2 price after 8:00p.m. So I got there at 8:09 and order 4 medium shakes and my total was $17.25. I said aren't they 1/2 price after 8:00 and they told me they were not doing that yet. The commercial has been on TV for a couple of weeks now. Shouldn't all Sonics have the same prices and permotions. I was really upset that I waited until 8:00 to go and could not get them 1/2 price. Yesterday was March 30, 2015. Should they have been 1/2 price? Also when I finally got my shakes they brought me out Small instead of medium. so they took them back in and they put them in regular drink cups instead of the plastic clear dome cups they usually come in. So I thought they must of run out of the other cups . So when I got home and looked in the cups they were only about 2/3rds full. They must have just dumped the small ones into bigger cups and there was no whipped cream or cherries on top. I felt like I have really gotten ripped off by them. And one other thing, should the employees that are fixing the shakes be wearing gloves and hair nets while handling food. They had long hair and they did not have on gloves while peeling the fruit for our shakes. I don't think I will be going back to that Sonic. The only other Sonics are about 30 drive away. Sonic Drive-In company policy for employees

I work for sonic and was told I was aloud 2 free value menu items everyday I work and half off anything extra but I am being harassed about this and told I was not aloud to do this. I am struggling and my husband went to jail and left me on the street with nothing I'm staying with friends and family and paying them $50-75 a week and I only get $40 in food stamps a month so I take advantage of the free food it's pretty much the only thing I eat all day long and would like to keep getting this benefit until I get on my feet. I work at sonic on east republic road in Springfield Missouri 65804 . Please address this problem. Thanks so much...my name is stephany Stafford and greatly appreciate it very much.

Every sonic is different. At my sonic I am allowed free medium size and under drinks only when I'm working. At my sisters sonic she is allowed .99 cent large drinks any time. Managers ALWAYS get free meals. They are allowed free meals any time. (At sonics around here at least). Talk to your manager and see what they offer.

Sonic Drive-In soft drinks

This may not sound like that big of a deal but, when you see commercials on TV advertising for the millions of drinks Sonic has and you go to Sonic and ask for a Mountain Dew, the workers at Sonic tell you that they do not carry Mountain Dew. The closest thing to Mountain Dew Sonic has is Mellow Yellow. Mellow Yellow is a good drink however, if you are really wanting Mountain Dew, Mellow Yellow is not going to satisfy you. I have always been told that the customer is always right. Having experience working as a waitress I know that in some cases that is not always true. However, I do believe that if I go to Sonic and ask for Mountain Dew I should get one because of the "millions" of drinks Sonic carries. It's actually very irritating when you order something from a place that is famous for there drinks and you can't get a simple Mountain Dew. Please take this into consideration. Thank you.

You are an imbecil Jessica. Oh, so i bet you go to Sonic and order a Big Mac right? Of course they can't give you Mountain Dew, because they don't carry it. They carry Mellow Yellow, and if you don't like it, I suggest you take your fat ### elsewhere.

After looking this up this is what I have found pertaining to it. The advertisements are for drink combinations. Sorry still no Pepsi, you should contact them and ask them why, then post their response here for us.

Sonic Corp. brags in TV commercials and press releases that it offers “more than 168, 000 drink combinations.” But how did the drive-in restaurant chain arrive at that number?

It turns out, though, that when you consider all the possible drink combinations offered by the company, the actual number is far greater than 168, 000. Just how much more is debatable. What is clear is that Sonic arbitrarily reduced the figure to “more than 168, 000″ because it wanted to do a giveaway contest for a dollar amount equal to the number of drink combos.

Just an observation here but there is no fast food restaurant that will have Coke and Pepsi products at the same time.

Sonic Drive-In harassment

I have been keeping my mouth shut for a long time and now I've had enough... Every manager meeting we have I have always been attacked. I always get a phone call on my days off and my gm is accusing me of something I didn't do... She makes me take breaks when I need to do something for 5 minutes but she is allowed to do her own personal things on the clock and she doesn't get in trouble... She also tells people to get off their phones but she gets on hers all the time and she goes outside and sits for 15-20 mins and talks on her phone... And whenever she wants she takes food or none important things in the back room and does it on the clocked while we have customers And when I call her out on it usually she doesn't say anything... I also asked for a set schedule I have always had one at other sonics I worked for and now I can't get one... I have to have a set schedule because of a babysitting issue... I'm not causing any issues or anything I'm just tired of the crappy treatment... She even takes pride in making people quit...she has even made one of her other managers so mad and she quit because she wanted the gm to stop yelling at her... I even have all the text messages where in some of them she has cussed at me or disrespected me in other ways... I don't want to get anything started but if she is gonna keep treating people this way she will have a lawsuit against her...
