Smoke 51 stealing money from me

Well lets see,
To start with before christmas everytime i went online there was an ad popping up.. SMOKELESS CIG. Smoke anywhere, try it for free. Just pay the shipping and handleing of 9.95 Smoke 51 sounded like a god send.. HA HA what a joke... I was so disapointed with the product.i took it out of the box { comes already charged } It would never charge.. well i made it through christmas, running outside to smoke...my fault i know...well then my credit card bill arrives... ok i see the 9.95 charged from smoke 51..on the 20th of dec. Then another charge of 89.95 from a company in hallandale fla. on 1/3/10 and another charge to a company in hollywood fla. for 29.95.on 1/11/10. i called the credit card company to find out what these charges were.. i was told it was from the smoke 51 company...i've sent dispute letters to the cc company, credit card company gave me their phone numbers.. no one ever answers...always on hold forever.. i am not happy about this..i'm calling the attorney generals office and filing a complaint with them...as it is my credit card company says i'll have to pay it. smoke 51 is fighting it...ohh yeah.. heres the kicker.. try and find the website, where it all was at.. quess what... no website found...

Smoke 51 is here to help all of our clients with any problems they have with the product. If your product is not working i encourage you to contact our customer service department so we can send you out a replacement. As per the charges of $89.95 and $29.95 this was all disclosed in the terms and conditions of the trial as you said "Smoke anywhere, try it for free. Just pay the shipping and handleing of 9.95" which is what you were able to do, try it for the shipping and handling of $9.95. With all trials they come to an end and when it is over the same with all other free trials you will be charged for the product. Smoke 51 scam

Iam another person that smoke 51 is trying to scam I guess. Her is a few people that have been emailing me saying I ordered something else from them when I ordered the starter kit. Try emailing [protected]@smoke51 and see if you here from you and let us know what she says to you. i ordered the 9.95 staryter kit and they charged me $60.31. What I think needs to be done like other lawyers say on tv if you have taken this product and this happens to you call this firm, that is an advertisment that I see on tv and manymore are showing up on tv. I think it is about time and as I see it there is enough of us to fight back and get a very big law firm to fight back for being ripped off Customers by smoke 51. I have an investigation started with my Bank Visa and I am waiting on the paper work and I have made copys of the complaints and I copyed my paper of proof and I have copyed emails that they have sent me, I also have my copy of bank statement of the rip off. Iam tired of us consumers being rippeed of internet companys and I think it is time people to fight back. All we need to do is all of us get together do some investigation of our own and see what are rights are with a big firm and everyone that can prove what has happened to us and get back our money we deserve. Please everyone lets speak up freedom of speech remember. so please post and let me know what you think, iam curious. annie

Smoke 51 Fraud: info about parent company

My mother ordered this Smoke 51 contraption for my father for Christmas. Immediately I noticed that there were parts missing from her order. The manual was not included with the merchandise, so I went online to find it and printed it out. When I looked at the manual, I could see parts were missing. The product is defective. My mother has tried repeatedly to get customer service on the phone to no avail... finally she got through to someone she describes as having perhaps a 3rd grade education with screaming children in the background. My mother was told to send her product back for a refund, which she did via certified mail with return receipt requested. Well, after her call the $89.95 charge appeared on her credit card. Of course this is for her "free trial" It has not been 30 days so she should not be seeing any charge in the first place. Day after sending the stuff back, she got refill cartridges! CRAZY! So she expects to see the $29.95 charge on her account soon too. Hopefully this nightmare will be over soon!

I found from Smoke 51's website that their parent company is Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc. I went to the Florida secretary of state website and found Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc. and it's officers/directors (i.e. important people/people responsible for all this b.s.)

Please, everyone, file complaints with the Attorney General's office in your state and possibly also with Florida. WAS CHARGED 89.95 AND 29.95 BEFORE I EVEN RECIEVED PRODUCT, WAS TOLD THE CHARGES WOULD BE REVERSRD AND THAT DID NOT HAPPEN ! JUST RECIEVED THE PRODUCT AND HATE IT, CALLING CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND SENDING IT BACK .

Smoke 51 took my money, I've called numerous times & received nothing but [censored] customer service from grade school operators & you received the unused item weeks ago, but yet STILL give me the runaround. "Check's in the mail" - "Have your bank call us so we can issue the refund (yeah, that's a GOOD ONE, liar). I want RESULTS! You guys suck & are nothing but a rip-off. So much for quitting smoking - I'm going to have a cig right now I'm so p!ssed off...

You should really learn to read before making comments on what other people write. Mia is not advertising she is providing the terms and conditions for the offer that people signed up for and letting them know when to call the office so they can be helped. There is no where she tells you to sign up for the offer or gives a link to sign up for the offer. she is simply trying to help people that signed up for the trial offer.

The only satisfaction I'm guessing these people are going to get is when the Florida Attorney General shuts you people down.

Smoke 51 gone

I did not do the trial, I just ordered the kit. Got it in a couple of days. Then I ordered filters a couple of times, each time getting them in 4-5 days. I was not charged anything other than what they said. But now, I can't log in, I can't order without logging in, and I can't get a new password. Also, customer service line is "not accepting calls". Looks like they're gone and I'm stuck with a now-worthless e-cig.

Smoke 51 Cancelling

I ordered the free trial order and thought better of the idea and tried to cancel. There wasn't any contact information on the website. After digging for some way to contact them, I found an obscure e-mail address and tried to cancel through that. I received a standard response, stating that they recieved my e-mail and someone would read it (more or less) when they had the time and please don't send another e-mail because it would negate the first e-mail. In the meantime, I received my FREE trial package and the funds were withdrawn from my checking account. There was a toll-free number in the package and I tried to call but, got a recorded answering service. I called repeatedly and finally got a REAL person. I was told to return the item and my money would be returned. Two days later $89.95 was withdrawn from my checking account. I was told that my membership was previously canceled, but the $89.95 was for my FREE trial order. I was aware that $29.95 was a monthly membership fee, but not aware of the $89.95 fee. Now I have to return my FREE trial package and my money will be returned. I wonder how long that will take.

Smoke 51 Scam & Fraud

Ordered the trial kit and on same day of receiving it I tried to cancel the order/membership.
I followed their instructions and emailed to email address provided on their website. No response. Sent another email, no response. Sent certified letter, canceling my order/membership. The USPS delivered the letter on 10/23/09 and the next day, 10/24/09 they charged my account $89.95.
I challenged the charge with my bank and canceled my credit card, so Smoke 51 can not charge my account anymore.
I am considering complain to the local DA Office as well as to Better Business Bureau.
Copies of my emails and certified letter are available.

Iam right with you on this, I to was taken but for only $60.31 and I cancelled my Bank Card the same day I placed my order and my Bank Closed out my Bank Card the same daycso smoke 51 could not keeep charging me. Your Comment with the DA I Highley agree. Like I said in my first post, we all should get together and see if we can go up against this Company and all the Fraud. Anyhow anyone can build a Website and Scam People. We need to do like sime other people have done and get a Lawyer who deals with Big Companys and put an Advertisement on TV saying have you ever been Scammed by Smoke 51 Please contact this Lawyer. I bet you Ther is a Few People running this Scam out of Miami, Fl and they most likeley out of State or Country who are doing this and they got a Computer Programmer to Build this Fake Website and they have some kind of Credit card Machine to Collect all their Bank Withdrawls, that is how I see it. Well lts do something about this everyone an stop this kind of thing. Annette G

Smoke 51 CHARGED BEFORE TRIAL ENDED

I ordered smoke 51 for free trial of 9.95 shipping. Saw I had just days to cancel. emailed on the second day after recieving to cancel never heard back until 3 days saying I needed an RMA number and they needed my full name. emailed every day for 5 and did their online to cancel. It states if you send 2 emails it puts you at bottom of list. Still no RMA number and no more responses. They have within 2 weeks charged me an 89.95 fee for a membership and a 29.95 fee for I have no idea what. I am going to my bank to start process to protect any other debits.

Interesting, I ordered this for my mother-in-law as she was going into assisted living and you cannot smoke there. Got a pending bill for $9.95 and then they never put it thru. After reading numerous forum comments, I just reported the card lost and will get a new credit card number. If they email me, I will gladly send back the starter kit as the nursing facility (in Virginia) did not approve.

Total fraud my situation is simular. 9.95 to get a free trial that I still have not recieved on 11/25 it was posted. Then without any authorization charged me with an additional 89.95 for a supposedly kit on 12-10-09 then to top it off there is one pending today for 49.95.

I went to my Credit card co bank & I have to dispute it in writing & this is soooo wrong.

my wife and I had the same problems with these scammers. We called our bank, and they refunded our money ( as in a disputed claim) and had us to cancel our debit/credit card and get another one. I just received another order from them ( 15 refill cartridges). My bank had us to mail back everything with a tracking number and requiring a signature when it was received. I guess we will wait and see...live and learn

Smoke 51 is committing fraud and false advertising. They charge you $89.95 then double the amount claiming that you ordered two kits. The web site advertises a fee of $79.95 marked down from $109.95. Then once you return the kit they claim you still have one kit or that they do not owe you any money. I am going to put this everywhere I can on the internet and contacting both my state's Consumer Affairs Commission and contacting the Florida's state Consumer Affairs Commission too. If I have to I will drive down to their address in Miami. I will expose them and I hope that all of you that have been ripped off do as well that is the only way for us to shut them down.

I am so angry with Smoke 51. I tried to get an RMA and sent several emails before I found that 888 number on the club card and found out that I am only supposed to send 1 email or I will be put back at the bottom of the list and that I needed to put return in the subject line. So on oct 25 I finally receive an email with the RMA# and the content of the email made me suspicious so I checked my bank account and sure enough they put through the charge on the 25th even though they knew I wanted to return it and did not get an RMA# until the 25th AND they put through the charge on the 27th for $29.95 for the auto ship of cartridges even though they obviously knew I was returning the product. I was so angry that I called my bank to do a chargeback and they gave me a phone number for this company! IT'S [protected] AND I GOT TO TALK TO A LIVE PERSON. She told me they had a lot of returns and were behind in responding to the emails for an RMA, she also confirmed that my autoship program was cancelled by the same person who sent me the email ON THE 25th! When I complained that I just got the RMA# she said that alot of people just went ahead and returned them without an RMA# so it was my fault that I did not get it returned in time, My fault! I Just Got The RMA# On The 25TH! Besides their terms and conditions plainly state that I must have a Return Authorization Number before sending any product back to them.I asked for a supervisor but she would only take a request...2 days later still no contact from the supervisor...surprise surprise, this company has serious issues and they are purposely billing people when they shouldn't.
I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE RETURNED THE KIT WITHOUT AN RMA AND STILL GOT CHARGED? I bet the companies response to that is that you did not have an RMA# and it will take longer to process, huh?
To make matters worse, this was a debit card so these charges put me in overdraft and I now owe my bank $66 in NSF, yes that's right - 2 charges at $33 each!
I did not like the taste of these e-cigs and when I got my package there was no paperwork included such as a copy of the order or an invoice or anything, I should have known that they were just trying to dump alot of product and increase their sales numbers for whatever reason and they don't care who they hurt in doing so.

Just a suggestion, Brenda, but you may want to file a dispute on those prior charges with Visa or Mastercard. They will file a claim and reimburse you in 60 days. Believe me, there are many complaints and BBB claims against this company. Keep the starter kit because you are probably not going to get an RMA number anyway and change your debit or credit card number to avoid any future charges. Why not fight fraud with fraud? Since they are virtually impossible to contact what else can you do? I am trying to cancel before receiving Smoke-51 but realize this is probably unlikely, so I am trying to make arrangements in advance of them making charges against my account. It has been 3 weeks and I have still not received this product that is how I came across all of these complaints. If I had received it timely I would have been shocked b/c I had no idea of the terms when I agreed to the so-called "Risk-Free Trial"! Good luck!

Smoke 51 bogus company

I have been reading through the complaints on here. They took over $100 out of my bank account. I did not agree to this. I wanted to try their product and agreed to pay for that sampling. They have wiped out my account causing me serious problems. I am a Senior Citizen on a fixed income. I tried all the numbers including the one listed on this site. I only got a recording on two of the numbers and the last number was disconnected. I want my money back from this company.

Count me as one more person scammed by this bogus company going by numerous names. I too, lost the $9.95, $89.95 and $29.95 before I finally closed my bank account to stop them from getting any more of my money. No way to contact them, so I am filing a complaint with my Visa account, as well as reporting them to the BBB, and I send them 20 emails daily saying CANCEL. If I have no other recourse to recoup my money, then I will continue to hassel them daily for as long as I feel this anger. I was billed by EZ Smoker for the $9.95 and the rest was taken from my account by Smoke Anywhere USA. But they claim they're not affiliated in any way. How do they get away with such robbery. Please, Please, save yourself the headache, humiliation and money and DO NOT give them your credit or debit numbers. You'll be very sorry. I only hope they get theirs in the end.

Smoke 51 Scam, no way to reach company

Smoke 51 advertised a 7 day free trial. Just pay 14. 95 for shipping and handling, , , , , , , , and if you are not satisfied with thier product, simply e - mail them for rma #. Yeah right! On september 18 i ordered smoke 51. They charged my card 14. 95. On oct 3rd. I recieved the package and that smae day they charged my card 89. 95! No free trial here! Then on oct 6th, they charged me 29. 95 more! I have e - mailed them several times only to be ignored. There is no number i can find to get a human on the phone. They have posted fake news broadcasts on youtube and other sites to sucker people. If anyone knows a way of getting to this company, please e - mail me, [protected]@aol.com. I would love to sue these people.

Smoke 51 has proven to be a great company that is trying to help all of their customers as much as possible. It appears that all of their customer service issues are taken care of. If you call during the regular business hours you will have no problem getting a CSR on the line to help you out. FYI the customer service # is [protected] and the customer service hours of operation are from 9am - 5pm et. Monday - Friday. They are also now offering 51% off on all merchandise on their website smoke51.com just use the code FRIENDS51%

Heard an advertisement over the radio. Ordered it and after two months it never came . Cancelled order but they have not refunded my card.

I have called customer service, they only answered once, told me it was on the way and I would have to return it to receive a refund. Two weeks later I emailed them and I have begun receiving phone calls from a phone number that is listed as a scam number requesting shipping information. I have emailed me requesting cancellation at cancel@smoke51.com but they keep sending me letters thanking me for my order and that I should be receiving the product shortly. I will try to call again on Monday, but I think it is going to require a lot of work to get my money. I think they sell your information to other scam operations. This is a nightmare.

Got the RMA number and returned the product. Billed the full amount of 89.95 and the 29.95 for filters that arrived the day I was sending the product back. Cannot get anyone on the phone. Voice activated telling you to go here and go there. Still calling and trying to get a live body and get answers. They are surely not professional. To establish that they are legit they should be responding via phone or email to customer to resolve their issues. I think someone needs to man the phones 24/7 to alleviate the supposed large volume of calls and concerns. This is not good at all.

I went to try a product for 7.95 and that was it under a different name then all of a sudden we got a package and billed for 125.00 and returned it no credit an d no packing slip and them a month later we have a charge of 69.95 then here comes a package and we retured it and 1 on and did the same we have never received a credit and no phone numer to call the number we had is disconected so we have no were to go and no we just received a nother one and I am holding it to see what happen and what I here from someone which we were billed another 69.95> please help I sent a copy of one of the envelopes if this can help. sincerly lisa kraus lmkraus04@comcast.net

They began taking money from my bank account before I even received their product which was supposed to be a free 30 day trial. There was NOTHING FREE about their offer. They continued taking money from my account until I was forced to close my bank account! When I finally got a hold of them they gave me a RMA# to return the product. I returned it within 7 days of receiving it. BTW it took 45 days to receive it from the date it was ordered. WELL THAT WAS IN 2009 AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY TO BE RETURNED! DAMN RIGHT I'M SHOUTING! HAS ANYONE BEGUN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT YET? OR ARE WE STILL ALLOWING THEM TO RIP PEOPLE OFF? WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH...EVER!

Smoke 51 Scam, Fake and a theif

They took the original $9.95 and then $89.95 and $29.95 so I had to cancell my card, but not before they got the $89.95 but as of right now not the $29.95. I now see how people get rich as they have fake products and no working phone numbers to talk to a human all computerized, NO HUMAN interaction no matter how hard you try. THIS IS A SCAM! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! You will get a fake cigarette that looks like a toy in a not so fancy box that is hardly worth $2 and that is for the box!

also how convenient that they now have a new terms page on their website, that states that all correspondances are going to be all electronic and no human interaction. Just thought that I would add this as well, as I have just found this out myself.

I appreciate your response, and will take what you said into consideration. If I may however, your customer service department should be trained and willing to extend these courtesies to the patron when a problem arrises, as opposed to the customer ( myself ) having to ask for them. In other words, if I haven't received an order within the agreed upon time frame, and have called on more than one occasion in regards to it, then someone on the other end should be ready to compensate me for it. Just a thought. In addition, something needs to be done about the quality consistency of the 51 DUO cartridges. As I mentioned in my previous post, there are times when the unit is only partially functioning or is a complete dud altogether. I would not mention this to you, if it was something that only occurred once in a while, but I have found bad cartridges with virtually every order that I have received over the previous 18 months. There must be something going on in the manufacturing process. Perhaps these cartridges are processed on a belt, which passes them through a liquid injecting machine, and occasionally the device misfires or skips? I don't know. Other times, Ill take the first few puffs off a cartridge and a harsh burning sensation fills my lungs as though the heating coil has already burned out. I will say on a positive note that I enjoy the flavor and feeling of 51 ( when it works ), but quality control is something that smoke 51 needs to address.

I am sorry you feel this way. We try to take care of all of our customers needs as much as possible and I am sorry that you had some trouble with our company. Did you ever ask to be compensated for the problems you had? I am sure if you did we would not of had a problem compensating you for the problem with some extra filters or a discount on your next order. I know this to be the case because me being one of the managers here I know me and the other managers always go out of our way to make sure a client is compensated for a problem they have had.

I have been customer of Smoke 51 for the past 18 months, and as of this week, have decided to discontinue my patronage with them. For nearly a year and a half, I have been paying what I feel to be a lot of money, for a product that is inconsistent in quality and satisfaction. There have been times when nearly 3 of the 5 cartridges that come in a pack have been duds, or very weak in terms of potency. In addition, it is a great fallacy that one duo cartridge lasts the duration of TWO PACKS of cigarettes, when in fact they are often shot after perhaps two uses. And that's assuming that you are fortunate to have a cartridge that isn't a dud. Furthermore, the customer service has been very poor, and I say that in a kind and diplomatic fashion. For starters, about a year ago, smoke 51 was sending out an alternate product which was dissimilar to their primary cartridge, which tasted terrible.. I received these items within two days prior to going on vacation. I called their Florida head quarters, and complained about the fact that this was not their usual brand, and the answer I received was " we are currently out of our usual product line." So I said, don't you notify your customers of such changes? The representative was clueless... Over the following year, I have had repeated incidents of poor customer service and product dissatisfaction, but tolerated, because I was afraid to try other brands, and did not want to return to lighting up. Most of the time, they are out of a certain dosage which is on back order, but rather than telling the customer up front about it, so that they can order something else, the company makes the consumer wait sometimes up to 3 weeks before sending them their purchase.. This past order was the last straw. I placed an order, and it turns out they had a systems failure and couldn't send my order in a timely fashion... Trying to be understanding, I said " okay, send it to me when you can." The rep on the phone said that they would ship it to me within two days... That was last week! and as of monday, still hadn't received my order. I called them again, and spoke to a different person... They said that whoever took my call, did not submit the order and that it had not even been shipped... That was it! I would also like to conclude that this company offers no compensation for customer inconvenience.. The only thing you get ( if your lucky ) is a verbal apology. The customer service office and the wear house do not seem to communicate effectively with one another, hence, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.. This morning I have placed an order with Blu Smoke, and am hoping that they will be more satisfactory.

I think you are looking for a different company. Smoke 51 does not sell cartons of cigarettes or even cigarettes. We sell electronic cigarettes. If you are having trouble with an order for electronic cigarettes that you purchased from Smoke 51or one of our resellers please call the customer service department at [protected] or send an email to customerservice@smoke51.com and we will be glad to help you.

I am sorry but that is far from the truth. What we are doing is not spamming it is supplying people with the terms and conditions for the trial to people that have signed up or are potentially interested in signing up so that they are clearly informed as to the terms of the trial. I've been had too. Sent me 3 packs of filters but not unit to use them in. Sent an e-mail to cancel but got no reply. Hunted all over for phone numbers and finally contacted Smoke EVERYWHERE, play on words here, 51 uses the term ANYWHERE, at times, although their ad uses EVERYWHERE, their logo and one of their phone numbers. Called EVERYWHERE and they gave me 3 phone numbers that turned out to be recordings! Going to dispute with credit card company and turn them in to Florida Consumer Protection. EVERYWHERE say their lawyers are working to stop them but the wheels of justice turn oh so slowly. Stay away from Smoke 51 or SMOKE ANYWHERE.

Hi, First I want to say I totally understand everyone's frustration with this company as you can add me to your list of VERY unhappy people! I, very innocently, signed up for their FREE trial package for the cost of shipping, 9.95 back on the 13th of September. Waited and waited for the product, seemingly a long time. Then, one morning, on the 28th of September I happened to open my checking account to see that I had a charge pending for 199.90 from someone called EZ Smoker with a tel number next to it. Well, of course I didn't recognize that company, so I called the number before going to my bank to report fraud. The number given game me EMAIL address' I could write to. I tried that from my email, got a returned mail error. So, I went to the site, "Smoke 51.com" and found address' to write there. I sent several emails explaining that I NEVER received any product from them, requesting a refund, and of course requested that copy of my mail be sent to my email addy. I didn't get any response, so I went to my bank, have a fraud case pending. I AM SO ANGRY about all of this as my emails were forwarded to another person stated as ""smoke Anywhere.com" yet no email address. Googled that company and got a TON of hits. So, which one was it? I guessed at any that mentioned smoke 51 went to that website and got another name "Miller Diversified Corp" which actually sells cattle feed! There was a yahoo link to the company stating that they were purchasing "smoke51", (pending) ? So, who are these people, bottom line? To this date I have gotten two emails from someone called "Stephanie@smoke51.com who apparently is sending a "canned" response "thanking me for trying their product AND giving me a Returned Merchandise number which is totally ludicrous since I've never gotten anything to begin with! There is an FBI site that I/we can report internet fraud to. It is called an FBI IC3 report. I, also, have NEVER been able to get a LIVE person to take any of my calls or direct email address for anyone who is willing to take responsibility for this scam of an order. The only way people will find out how these people are thieves is if the public can find out about it. Does anyone know of way we can before MORE of a squeaky wheel? big rip off, you can't talk to anyone to cancel and you can't return their trial product if you open it. ?
and they enroll you in their refills plan for 29.95. I tried it because it was on a news channel so apparently they also didn't research it.

I managed to get through to the company but can remember how. They even gave me an address and I sent back the first packages. I sent them reciept requested but never heard from the co. or the post office and am still being billed. When I got on the internet to contact the company, their sight does not link to an e-mail so when you click on "contact us" it does not. Now I am out 89.99 and the cigs.
