If you or someone you know is looking to rent an apartment in Pollock Pines, make sure the address is not 2808 Loyal Lane. There has been over 12 tenants in that apartment in the last year all of which have left because of the psycotic behavior of the landlord (slumlord).

LOCATED AT 2808 LOYAL LANE, POLLOCK PINES, CA 95726

She is a violent, dangerous, mentally ill Slumlord that will con you out of money & personal belongings while being verbaly & physically abusive.

Sharon Potter has turned off the power, propane, water & cable.

No smoke detectors, nailed closed the back door, removed steps to front door.

Does not provide trash pick up.

Blocks vehicle from leaving. Vandalizes vehicles and personal property.

Threatens with bodily harm if rent is not paid a day early.

Throws wood at walls, stomps on her floor (tenants ceiling) all day and night.

Intercepts mail for tentant.

Harrasses visitors including family members.

Writes threatening, verbally abusive letters and verbally abuses tenant daily.

Locks up belongings as she still has from other prior tenants.

Has caused neighbors on both sides to move prompting law suits.

Will not repair water leak that has caused mold in kitchen & hall.

The list goes on, more and more things are developing daily as this woman seems to be getting more mentally unstable. This is not a joke and is very serious. She actually walks around the house making pig noises and then singing one minute to yelling cuss words to the sky the next minute.

She has been seen egging her own vehicles and house only to blame it on the tennants and nieghbors.

The point here is that she is unstable, scary and do yourself a favor, don't rent from her, you don't have to find out for your self. Take it from all the past tenants, it's not worth your sanity to be going away with hers.

One last note, we have contacted the sherriffs serveral times in regards to her health and mental ability, they will not do anything, the Adult Protective Services have been contacted because she is a danger to herself and other, they will not do anything.

This is to inform the community of a serious problem that is not being handled by the proper authorities. So it needs to be noticed by the community and hopefully stop anymore violence and victims.

**UPDATE**

DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT AT 2808 LOYAL LANE, POLLOCK PINES, CA 95726

The violent, dangerous, mentally ill Slumlord will con you out of money & personal belongings while being verbaly & physically abusive.

The following things have happened over the past four months, she has turned off the power, propane, water & cable.

In an effort to prevent the tenants from having hot water, broke the water heater causing the entire house to be
without hot water including herself, and is going on a week now.

No smoke detectors, nailed closed the back door, removed steps to front door.

Does not provide trash pick up.

Blocks vehicle from leaving. Vandalizes vehicles and personal property.

Throws wood at walls, stomps on her floor (tenants ceiling) all day and night.

Intercepts mail for tentant, two proven cases now.

Harrasses visitors to the point that they will not come back including family members of the tennants.

Writes threatening, verbally abusive letters and verbally abuses tenant daily.

Falsifies documents from utility companies to try and show the tennants are responsible for them being disconnected when in fact she herself had them turned off, they are in her name at her house, the tennants have no control over the utilities.

Locks up belongings and she still has things that belong to previous tennants including war metals and a set of
dentures (who moves and doesn't take their dentures).

Will not repair water leak that has caused mold in kitchen & hall. There is no ventalation in the kitchen and it is
complete inhabitable, also causing respitory problems for the tennants.

If you or someone you know is looking to rent an apartment in Pollock Pines, make sure the address is not 2808

Update to the slumlord problem on Loyal Lane in Pollock Pines. For all the renters out there who have ever had to deal with a crazy landlord, I feel for you and hope you never have to again, that is why I'm updating this to hopefully prevent any future victims. In addition to all of the illegal things she has done along with the code violations and so on. She has now resorted to smoking out the tennants. She has gone into her "shop" as she calls it and drilled holes on that side of the walls and proceeded to burn something so awful the tennants had to go outside to get fresh air. After the drill stopped and the smell got worse with no more noise in there the tennants got concerned about her and called the fire department. When they came and opened the door to the "shop" she was in there and smoke came pooring out of the door as if the whole building was on fire. She of course appeared to be under the influence, in this case smoke from what they found out later was sage, usually it's muscle relaxers and/or alcohol. The fire department, sherriffs department and the tennants could not come to any conclusion as to why this person would do this other than pure harrassment towards the tennants. It is obvious this situation is getting worse and the tennants are very aware of the fact that they need to move, unfortunately they do not have the resources to do that at this time. They just need a couple more weeks and they will be out of this place and into a real, safe home with a normal sane landlord or roomate. For those of you who think this landlord is a victim you need to get all the facts before you start judging. Simply put, there has been over 12 tennants in this apartment in the last 14 months, that in itself should tell you where the problem is and see it is only getting worse along with her completely crazy ideas of what the roll of a landlord is.

The b**** has gone over the edge of sanity into completely insane, crazy, wacked, f****** up in the head, mental, bipolar, multi I mean MANY personalities, unfortunately I get to meet a new one every day, sometimes even two lucky me. This is a warning to anyone who even comes in contact with Sharon ? we all know who on Loyal Lane in Pollock Pines, RUN RUN RUN far away, she is evil and insane and wants to share it with everyone.

Regarding the Landlord (SLUMLORD) of Pollock Pines, CA 95726, Sharon Potter, 2808 Loyal Lane... THIS IS GETTING SERIOUS! First let me start by saying I am current on my rent and have always been. All utilities are included in the monthly rent amount they are PG&G Electic, EID Water, Propane (the only source of heat), Comcast Cable & Trash Pickup. Over the past month she has disconnected and or turned of each one of these but has been told to turn them back on by the EDSO. Today I attempted again to pay rent for this month ( I can do that I just do not have the money to get a new place with a deposit, etc.). She refused to take my rent and basically to me to F*** Off! Then I see an AT&T truck here and go to see what she is up to now. I find that she has called AT&T to report me for tapping into her phone line and making calls from her phone number. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE AND I HAVE NEVER EVEN CONSIDERED SUCH A THING. Of course AT&T proved that no one has tapped into her phone line and made it clear to her. So here I am established in an apartment for nearly 6 months now without the means to up and move again which would require a deposit, 1st months rent and of course having all the utilities turned on in my name, all of which could cost up to $2000.00 or more. I only pay $600.00 here a big difference. BUT I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE DAILY HARRASSMENT FROM HER FOR NO REASON ON MY PART, I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO THIS PERSON AND AM NOT BEHIND IN MY RENT OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION TO HER. I AM NOT BOTHERING HER, AS A MATTER OF FACT I TRY TO AVOID HER SO THERE IS NO CONFLICT. What do I do?

This is to thank those who gave me posivitve responses they really did help and it is good to know there are people out there that care and have been through this or know how it feels, thank you very much. I am taking your advise and it is very good advise, I have been finder great options and getting some very good help from the sources your provided. It helps to be able to talk with the people on the sites and know that I have options especially on a day like today. I am so afraid of her knowing I'm home I avoid running water (I rent the basement apartment of her house) and even try not to flush so she thinks I'm out and won't start harrassing me. Again the harrassment is completely all on her part, if I was doing the same do you think I would try to hide from her. There is no reason to interact with her at this point, have tried repeatedly to give her the rent which I have on me now but she refuses. Other than that everything on my part is good, I don't know what else to do with her at this time but am getting good advise and help from sources recommended to me. They are working on my case now and will be getting back to me Monday morning and hopefully by tomorrow afternoon I will finally be free of this mess. Thanks again.

For those of you who have been following the "slumlord of Pollock Pines" issue... Here is an update and a great move forward for my effort. Thank you to all for standing behind me and for your support. This proves if we excercise our civil rights and follow the law we will achieve our goals.

Today I had an experience that was well worth the stress that led up to it. I have been involved in a civil matter regarding some postings on my blog. Well today justice and the American way went my way. I was accused of being a "cyber bully" and taken to court over it. The judge did not hesitate to inform the plaintiff of my 1st Amendment right and dismissed the case without any further discussion. So my point is excercise your rights and do and say what you feel, it is the American way. Freedom of speech and freedom of the press, we have the right to speak, post, and publish our thoughts and feeling on things that matter to us and affect our lives. Sometimes you have to go public with an issue to get results, which is what I did to resolve my ongoing issue with my former slumlord. In retaliation to me complaining about the several things needing repairs as well as the condition and safety of my apartment my landlord attempted to evict me and have a retraining order placed on me for up to three years barring me from using the internet to voice my oppinions and concerns. She was given a very good lesson on the 1st Amendment and that was all she was given. I kept me freedom of speech and press and was able to move out without having an eviction on my credit report. The support I recieved from my family and friends helped keep me focused and not give up . Another great support system I had was a website called www.thepetitionsite.com my connections there were a big help by sharing their stories and showing me how to play by the rules and excercise my rights to develop the knowledge and strength needed to continue to fight for what I believe in and for what I as an american deserve and not let anyone intimidate me or try to suppress me when I am only stating the truth and facts to get the resultsI deserve. Thanks to everyone who stood behind me and for all your support, together we made a statement and in doing sowe were reminded of our civil rights and that they do work for us.

UNBELIEVABLE you two did it again!... coned another senior citizen into renting you a place, did not pay rent, destroyed the place and then made him go through the cost and burden of the court system to get you out. Angie Green and Jeff Hughes, you called the last person who was trusting enough to rent to you, a slumlord. Now you each have 3 Unlawful detainer's in the superior Court of El Dorado County Case # PCU20090242, PCU20100451, and PCU20110304 all by senior citizens. You two need to be investigated for senior abuse. I think your records speak for them selves. You two are a piece of work! If you are reading this DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO RENTING TO THESE TWO ABUSERS

1st Amendment Rant
First- Don’t believe everything you read. Do some fact checking first- Wish we would have.
Second Angie Green was in court because the landlord was trying to get a permanent restraining order (after being granted a temporary one and getting an unlawful detainer AKA court eviction) against her and Jeff Hughes, not because she was being accused of Cyber bulling (that was just one of many reasons giving). The continuous stress of seeing one property being maliciously destroyed, numerous drug deals in the middle of the night, theft of property, not paying the rent or utilities and posting lies on the internet that these tenants were putting this landlord under was causing the elderly landlord (75 YRS old) to not sleep, not eat and have chest pains. She has a bad heart condition to begin with. The judge unfortunately told us that slandering someone on the internet is allowed under the first Amendment and this alone was not enough to warrant a permanent restraining order . The landlord did not get the Permanent restraining order (as we were not prepared with the correct evidence) for the numerous lies that these two tenants told. We just stood there stunned in disbelief not knowing what to say. Lesson learned- not all people tell the truth in court after being sworn too. The sheriff has since looked at the damage and theft (a report has been taken) that was left behind and told us to reapply for the restraining order (and he would be glad to be a witness this time). What did it cost? Thousands of dollars! Nine volunteers went to the property on Saturday. We spent 10 hours cleaning. We took 5 large truck load of trash to the dump. I must say it was very satisfying seeing all of their left behind belongings bulldozed. The 400 sf granny flat has been totally destroyed. There were numerous holes in the walls, the smoke detectors removed; they even took the convection oven, dishes, shower head and the window coverings. They were only there 6 months with all that damage. Slumlord? That would be true when you rent to pigs. We did find 3 hypodermic needles in their trash …. So I guess we have our answer..If you rent in the El Dorado area beware of these tenants. The have previous evictions before this. Check the El Dorado Superior Court Case index. You can find them there. I wish we would have. If you don’t believe I have plenty of pictures.
The best outcome of the whole thing is THEY ARE GONE!
