My bank of america loan was sold off to sls while I was in the process of trying to get a modification with bofa. Since then, i've been in home modification mode with sls for a year now and getting nowhere. I have made the last of my 3 month trial modification payments and received the permanent modification recently. Well, the house is underwater and the principal wasn't reduced. I have a reduced interest rate for the first 5 years, then it climbs every 5 years. That doesn't seem like much of a modification since banks are offering fixed rates these days.
They don't give reasons for why I don't qualify for a better deal than this. The person on the phone was giving me the run around and was lying. I talk to people on the phone for a living, so I know when someone is being shady. This company is shady, especially since it bought my loan from bank of american, that got if from countrywide, oh yeah and aurora was in there somewhere. Ripsoffs.
Does anyone know of a class action suit against this company? If so, please contact me!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Re: the complaint we have been in the EXACT, & I mean EXACT situation w SLS for the last 5 yrs! STILL NO RESOLUTION, They have also jacked our #'s around so much, we did one other refinance and borrowed 8, 000.00 towards our equity bought the house in 1996, yet we know SOME HOW? Owe 185, 000.00 with no explanation as to where those figures have come from, I have sent in at least 8 applications, w not ONE SINGLE RESPONSE, until 2 months ago we got a letter of Forclosire! We never received any application" which was odd since I had email Conf to prove otherwise! SO WE are still waiting!
AS FOR YOU MR. "BOOBAFOEY" yes I meant to spell it that way! you have no clue what my family has dealt with in the last 5 years, major medical exp. and a death in my family! So I suggest you don't judge others when you don't know the complete story! you might just find your self in the same position, someday! Some situations are brought on by folks and some are just dealt to us! So I pray that you do not have face hardships, and find your self in the same situation someday, because it does not sound like you would be a very kind person to deal with at one of the greatest times of need In your life! We LOL appreciate. Little grace and help up, not a hand out once in a while!

Signing a contract for a mortgage and not paying off as you agreed to is just as shady, if not worse. Just because you made a bad decision doesn't get you off for fulfilling your obligations. BoA loaned you money in good faith. You are the one who can't or won't pay. Looks like your are the sleezebag.
You are out of line! Quit trying to do damage control and how dare you talk to the homeowner this way.
They didn't make bad decisions it is fraud the majority of these loans are fraud due to the games the lenders play. Do you get bonuses for posting comments? You are the ultimate sleezebag!
