Ordered my ring on 7/6/2008. Checked back on 7/17/2008 and they claimed there was a dispute between their shipping department and FedEx. Did not want to give me the tracking number but said they needed to make another ring. Why make another one unless it was never made? I cancelled the order. By 7/23/2008, I still did not get my refund. They said that the refund was placed on 7/16/2008 but I told them that I never called on 7/16/2008. The guy then changed his tone and said the refund was actually made on the 7/17/2008. So there you go, caught them lying about the refund as well.

I advise anyone not to purchase anything from this company. Checkout their reputation on Better Business Bureau Online.

Well I dont know how real that whole story about the skyfacet.com return story sounds. I bought 3 wedding bands from them an returned 1 and had no issues. Ive met the owner in person 2 years ago when he flew on a plane to deliver the engagement ring I purchased from them, that FedEx was not going to be able to deliver on time(christmas eve). Hes a very young proffesional. Sky Facet is a company dedicated to customer service.

Well I don't get on boards just to bash a company for no reason. I've bought online many times and this is the first time I've been given the run-around like this. I have no reason to post this experience other than to warn potential buyers. By the way, the guy who I talked to yesterday said that he would contact me back today to tell my why my refund did not go through. Well, it's already 8:50 EST and no calls yet. I've filed a dispute with my credit card company as well as wih the New York Better Business Bureau. Talk about the customer service rep flip-flopping with excuses. I mean, how long does it take to get a refund back to your credit card?

Dunno your situation maybe instead of telling me about it you actually email or call the company. I just saw a video on youtube saying there a 55 million dollar company. I dont think they could be that big if they treat people the way your talking. just my two cents.

Just telling people my experience with the company and maybe they can judge for themselves based on the inconsistency of SkyFacet.com's customer service. Don't you read reviews of items you want to purchase before buying it? Well, I'm just providing my opinion to the public. I'm glad that you had a great experience with them but the way I felt they gave me the run-around just put a bad taste in my mouth. Yes, I contacted them several times and patiently talked to them. Maybe it was the kid that I dealt with over the phone that did not know what the heck he was doing. Hopefully SkyFacet staff is reading my comments and they can learn from it moving forward. I hope this doesn't happen again to potential customers. That's all. BTW: I finally got my refund on Thursday, July 24th after I complained to the New York BBB and my credit card company.

This could be my story! I bought a ring at very beginning of August, when I didn't receive it I called the company. Company told me that it was shipped eventhough there website said it was "waiting to be shipped." Per sky facet that is website tech error...that of course had never happened before. After a couple calls and being told it would be there the next day, and then being told it should arrive the day I was calling...I was finally given a Fedex tracking number, but Fedex reported having no record of a package with that number (and that it wasnt even a correct number). I left them a voice mail & e-mail demanding my money back, but haven't heard from them since. I have said I will be compaining to BBB too. Any tips?? I'm desperate! I 100% agree and believe your comments. I hope this helps others.

and I forgot to add this...but I had the same problem with them never returning my calls when they specified they would. And I rarely get a person answering the phone, and have to keep leaving voice mails.

Hi. I'm sorry you had to go through almost the exact same situation as I. If you paid by credit card, I would call the credit card company or your bank and place a dispute on the charge. Explain in entire details as to what you've done. Next, I would file a complaint with the New York Better Business Bureau onlin at http://www.newyork.bbb.org. They should get back to you within a week. Finally, I would complain on every forum/consumer board you can find on the Internet and tell them your story.

I ordered a ring on September 15th. The estimated shipment date was supposed to be September 17th according to the confirmation email I received upon purchasing my ring. It is now October 9th and I still have not received my order yet. I have emailed the company several times and they have not responded. I have called for 45 minutes every day and have not been able to get through. The phone is always busy. I have not even received a FedEx tracking number to track my order. I have nothing good to say about this company.
