The catalytic converter has gone at 19000 km. I'm, told this should not be the case and that VWGI should replace it for me. They don't want to know and only 50% of the part and none of the labour will be covered by the dealers. Skoda's customer care don't want to cooperate and are passing the book. They are useless and I hope nobody reading this is foolish enough to consider buying a skoda. Believe all those jokes you hear.
