I’m a down to earth boy looking for a down to earth girl, I recently went on singlesnet dating site and was ripped off totally. I was having this nice conversation with this girl in Pennsylvania for a few weeks, and singlesnet somehow sent her a reply without me knowing, and the girl called me up, and said that I called her a b-t-h, and that she wanted nothing more to do with me! What a scam! When I called the girl and told her that I didn’t say that, she called the police on me, and when I e-mailed singlesnet, they acted dumb about it, like they didn’t know why it showed up on their screen!

The Censor what one writes even if it doesn't have offensive language or hate. I am not religious and put that in my bio seem the human reader does not like that but others can put they are it even asks you that in their pre made questions. I also selected that seek a female and i get notices from males in my email box but not in my singlesnet.com box. I paid for a month and asked for my money back after 3 days i have not received a comment or refund. They offer a money back guarantee ya right. Also beware their system is A Bit Deceptive. If you look at someones page you will receive a email saying whom you looked at caught their eye instead of someone looked at your page. A PLAY ON WORDS AND OUR 1ST AMENDMENT RIGHTS... BEWARE. A Great Site here People Helping People Protect People!

This is just an educated guess because I am not sure yet, but I think that either SinglesNet or someone who has been able to put a phoney profile on SinglesNet has scammed me out of big money!

To this day I would still not doubt that this person or persons are affiliated with SinglesNet in some way or another. It started out as a phoney profile posing as a female in Washington State and then claiming to be a female in Russia who claimed that she was deliberately lying so that she could get onto the SinglesNet dating site. How could SinglesNet even allow this to happen? This is big time Fraud because SinglesNet doesn't do business with International daters!

I had been on the singlesnet.com site for about a month and received an email from Terry Kewve Smith at larrykewve1957@yahoo.co.uk He stated he was a single father of one son living in Los Angeles, Ca. He had been in the US for about 9 months and was raised in Ireland. He told me that his first wife died in a car accident and the second wife was found in bed with his best friend. He was working for a company out of Houston, TX as a road construction engineer. He received a contract for a job in Nigeria. I checked out the company on the internet and it looked legitimate. He said that he had about 1 to 2 weeks left on the contract and then he would be returning to the US. As we chatted over the next week, he declared he was falling in love with me and wanted to be with me for the rest of our lives. He was sent by God to be with me, etc. On the week he was to leave, he stated that he went to get his airline tickets and was robbed. The robbers hit him on the head with a gun, took all his money and he was now stuck in Nigeria. He needed to get some more money for airline and hotel bills. After a week of begging, his story was that his son woke up and was breathing too fast. When he took him to the hospital, he needed surgery because he had congenital heart defect. He then was again begging for help, telling me that he did not want “our” son to die in Africa. He even would call me and cry and beg for my help. I asked him a bunch of questions; name of hospital, address of hospital, and phone number. I just did not feel right about sending any money until it was all checked out. After 2 days of internet research and www.hosptialworldwide.com searching, there was no such hospital. I am glad that I checked it all out.

Singlesnet.com is not true singles website. There are men on there that are living with their spouses, girlfriends or living with women in general.

There is a man that goes by several s/n and he is as fake as can be, he is a liar, and a con man he will lie to your face while a woman he is living with is in another room.

He goes by several s/n like JackDainels07, Sourmash07, Sunnydayz, or even Waterhazard.

How do I know this cause I'm the woman he is living with so don't say that you have not been warned!

I just had to fill a complaint against Singlesnet.com and also the BBBOnline for giving them a "seal" of approval. Singlesnet is a complete SCAM. I am not going to say that there are not "real" people on the site because there might be a few, but I would say the majority are not at all. My experience:

1) Russian scam looking for money (this has happened at least five times).
2) Nigerian scam looking for money (this has happened once).
3) Other "dating/hook-up" sites that send you basically to another bogus site (this has happened at least 10+ times). DO NOT waste your time or money on this site. It is a waste. Not only are most the profiles false, but there are very limited search functions and ways to limit one's search. The site might be better in large metropolitan areas, but I would imagine that there would be just as many fake profiles there too.

Be careful if you do decide to join. Check locations against what they say in their profile, if doesn't match then it might be a good sign that they aren't real. Also check spelling, Russian's can't spell and have an odd way of forming sentences. Nigerians are completely ignorant of American culture, but can spell very well. The last warning is if looks to good to be true, it is.

I am more upset at the BBB for giving them an "endorsement" even though their site says that they don't endorse anyone. Their seal is on the Singlesnet's website, that to anyone going to the site is saying "hey this is a legitimate company." Singlesnet is far from being legitimate and now I am questioning the legitimacy of BBBOnline. I hope this helps someone. As I told someone the other day "the Internet is half lies and the the other half is fabricated truth" and that is a good why of summing up Singlsnet.

I signed on to try singlesnet.com for the 1 month duration. They have several packages. But I chose the one month. I quickly found that the service provides nothing but scams and fake profiles. I decided not to ask for a refund since I did try the service as a test. However after the month was over they billed my account again. I called and they said that the terms of the agreement say that I am on autopay. I don't remember seeing that, but Ok... I said, I'm not using the service and you just billed my account two days ago. Can I get a refund and cancel my account. They said I can cancel the account, but i can't get a refund.

The signup process makes it seem like they have a several packages based on duration to choose from. And I was choosing to try the 1 month minimum. This is absolutly dispicable and deceptive.

This singles site is a scam. just about every email i received from "interested" men all said the same thing in different words. They were gold dealers, they were engineers, they were antique dealers, they were widowed, they had children, their wife died in an auto accident, blah blah blah... all lies. All they wanted was an instant message address to tell the same lies. When i emailed singlesnet.com to ask why was i receiving multiple emails from different men with the same story, they refused to answer me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY. One of these guys asked if he could move back to the states, sell everything he owns in the UK and live with me cause he loved me so much. That was the first email. Yeah, right. Be careful and don't fall for any of it!

I am brand new to online dating, when i joined, they asked for search area, i put down 50 mile radius from where i live. I am getting contacts from all over the country, when i complained i received a "form email saying it based on compatibility. My profile info does not match what they're sending me. I have only been on here 2 weeks, already i have been tried to be scammed. I complain, same thing form email response. There's an old adage that i always have found to be true a first impression is a lasting one, needless to say i am not impressed. As a first time user i will not recommend this service to any one, i sent them several e-mails stating it's not up to me to police their web site. With the revenue they generate you would think that security would be paramount.

They, singlesnet.com is involved with West African, bride peddling and/or money laundering. Besides the tons of fake profiles they aim at single men. A cryptic email appeared in the sites box for me asking to accept two boxes of money containing 2.5 million dollars in them. The women from there are all in nigeria or ghana and are desperately seeking chumps over here, after two emails these girls are pledging undying love and affection, if you would only pay, for anything and every thing chuck.

this site lets you have a free membership to search & browse, you cant email to anyone, you can only look & send prefabricated flirt messages, like winks & such. there's no way to comunicate personal information unless you pay money... after looking & browsing you will see that it's pretty useless and move on... a few days later you will have several Email notifications from singles.net stating that someone on-line is trying to contact you, (this is where the 1st scam starts)... When you log into singles.net to look @ your mail, you will see email from fake, or computer generated members... You cant read, or respond to the emails until you pay... At this point you can pay with paypal, or a credit card, (this is where the 2nd scam starts)... You will have options of 1 month, 3 months, or 1 year...

Singlesnet is nothing more than an scam to get as much money from you as they can. I tried Singlesnet for a period and decided to cancel it using their online website. The cancellation gave you two choices, cancel immediately or let it run its term which is what I chose to do. I did this two weeks prior to it ending. I was surprised to find that they had again removed $19.95 from my account. I sent them an email demanding a refund and I also called. They told me that I should have told Paypal not to send them the money! After talking to them, they flat refused to refund the money, but get this, they said that they had canceled the Paypal for me. Why couldn't they do this before? I pointed this out to the supervisor who had no answer, but they still refused to refund the money. They will trap you any way they can. Stay away from Singlesnet.com.

I set up a profile on this site and began getting flirts. Some of the women were very attractive so I eventually paid the fee so I could respond. After I sent the email, the woman's profile mysteriously disappeared. I could not save the contact, nor was there any record of the mail I sent in the sent mail box. I tried to send emails out to other members to warn them, but I began to feel that most or all the profiles listed as online were fakes, some of them contained subtle insults, rude connotations as to how I got sapped into this!

They claim I cant have pictures on my profile that have me in face paint, my native beleafs call for me to show bouth me and my medicineman look, to be truthful to a prospective mate, however if you look, many of the woman have even more.the other sites they sponser allow it.I was getting responces like cravy, than nothing.I checked and they were gone, making what I wrote in my profile seem ideotic without them.If anyone can help, I am so mad I want to sue them and send them a great evil curse.Someone help me before I have to spend my life in prison for what I realy like to do to those crooks. They also took money from me last summer and did not refund me, even tho they never let me use the site than.

I joined singlesnet to meet people,I paid the fee, luckily, I paid for only one month.
As soon as you register, your mailbox will fill up with people that are supposedly interested in you. When you navigate around your account you can look to see who has actually viewed your profile. I have received countless "fake" mails from other supposed customers. These e-mails are intended to keep your interest up on the site. They will send you a different address so that you can "talk more privately" or if you would like to "take it to another level contact me at... " Total CRAP.

I do not recommend this site to anyone trying to meet REAL people.

I signed up for month on Singlenet, (at there 1 month rate of $24.95) and used my PayPal account. "NOW" Singlenet been stealing every month from me even after I had E-Mailed and also called them to tell them to "STOP". They always say they will refund my money but "NEVER HAVE" and the next month they steal it again. (Have done it for 3 months now). If there a class action suit against them I want in, if not "LETS" start one. They are taking advantage of the single dating on line people and they need to be stopped.

This site is full of scammers. Don't waste your time. Women from Africa and other places, all wanting money sent to them for bogus reasons. By the way - their profiles say they are from various U.S. locations. It is a phoney, dishonest site. Don't waste your time and money! They will send you phoney emails of others on the site who are interested in you. It is not so. In my opinion, this is not a legitimate site for those seeking a mate of any kind. This place needs to be shut down permanently. There has to be some kind of legal violation here.

Just the Nature of Singlesnet.com

I'm sure the site provides minimal Hook-up/dating service...but the hits from scammers and woman pretending to be interested looking for MONEY is amazing.

I'll keep it simple. If you're looking for a dating site check it out first. Make sure everyone has to pay...it is detailed and they screen all applicants for authinticity and they don't give out your information.
If you're serious about dating and meeting other people who date...do not waste your time on FREE dating sites. I was stupid ...you don't have to be.

Remember...you get what you pay for.

Good Luck,

Dave

You get messages from the service saying people are "interested in you" which is very misleading. What is really happening is the people have only looked at your profile and nothing else. PayPal will not do anything about it either so don't waste your money on this garbage..

This dating site is misleading and draws you in by telling you that people are interested when really they just went to your profile. It's wrong and they won't even give you a refund without calling some long-distance number and arguing with somebody (and who knows if you will even get the refund then...)

i am constantly getting e-mails from this company. I have asked them to stop sending me them. I have never asked for information from their service. I am married with children. I have tried to call the number on the bottom of the e-mail and it is no longer in service. Tried to e-mail them but it comes back, non deliverable.
