Deceptive enticement!
Complaint Rating: 89 % with 445 votes
Singlesnet.com seems to offer dating from a pick of people. It turns out that singlesnet.com has only spam mailing and information fishers, looking to take my phone number name and where I live. These people are not seeking a relationship, just my information. Singlesnet.com has no control over their web site from bots, or are in fact doing it. Singlesnet.com needs to be accountable for misleading people with a fake product, e.g. information fishing and spamming. Beware of singlesnet.com as they seem to be linked to AdultFriendFinder.com

These people need to be sued and put in jail for selling snake oil!!! CROOKS!

Singlesnet is definitely a rip off! The SPAM is ridiculous and all the site reps say is "let us know which profiles are spam"... most of them are!!!... Just seeking your email add to load your inbox with their garbage.

The commenter is completely correct, I had a similar experience. Avoid singlesnet.com, it's a waste of time and money.

Singlesnet needs to clean up their act. They do not exert any control or filtering.

For instance:

I'm getting spam such as a picture of a young woman aged 95?

"who_is_mr_lucky"

I'll bet that this is some 50year old male predator from Thailand or Saigon.

I received many notices from singlesnet that I had received messages from different woman- when I checked the messages, it turned out that they were flirts from woman that can be sent for free. But of course, for me to write them back with more than a free flirt, I needed to become a paying member so I payed the money and wrote the woman back, they didn't reply. It turns out that the ladies didn't send me those messages, singlesnet did. It was an absolute deception and it worked because I fell for it and payed the money to become a member. I have absolute proof of this and was reimbursed after I took my complaint to Better Business Borough . As far as I know, singlesnet is still deceiving many men and woman just as they deceived me. It's very sad that singlesnet seems to care more about money than integrity. If enough people were aware of these facts, it is likely that a class action law suit would be in order.. It's more harmful than just taking my money, they tricked me into believing that ladies were interested in me when in fact those ladies were not. Shame on you singlesnet!

There are probably real people on there, but, yeah, the really good looking people are usually fake. I actually got lead on from craigslist, and I sent an email to the girl, and got one back saying she had a profile on singlesnet. I couldn't find it, but then again the search didn't yield any results for other names I saw. Probably because I haven't paid for it. Well... it's shite I'm sure. Good-looking women don't use these sites, and I think we all need to say eff off to these sites and just go on in real life, possibly finding someone. I mean if you're meant to, you're meant to. But hot girls hitting on me? I don't know... I smells some bull poop.

They are really BAD!!! Look at the end of their membership agreement, they try to exclude your ability to sue them in small claims court (read they want to make it cost you to go after them), and they exclude class action suits!!!

Class action waiver. You may only bring claims in an individual capacity and not as a class representative or a class member in a class or representative action. If an arbitrator determines that your waiver of any ability to participate in class or representative actions is unenforceable under applicable law, the arbitration agreement will not apply, and you and we agree that such claims will be resolved by a court of appropriate jurisdiction, other than a small claims court.

Put photo on singlesnet.com. Had no responses just winks because I wasn't a paying person, didn't enroll and pay because I wasn't happy with the responses I got, I did have one date and that didn't work out, will keep away from singles, any kind, now. Its a rip off!

A total scam site. Spoke with this really cute girl for a day straight. Who apparently lived in my area. She had everything i was looking for and of course i was everything she was looking for.

Conversed via email as well for a few days. Claimed to be a model on a seminar in africa. Then the next day after chatting for hours.. She claimed to need to pay for her hotel and they took away her passport and such.

I played along.. Asking for specific names of places and hotel name.. Naturally the information didn't even come up on the internet.

I got her to finally give me an address to where she lived in the us. Saying that i would contact her landlord to validate who she was.. I was able to contact comed the power company to find out about her based on the name and address she gave.. Naturally no one by that name lived at the address she provided.. However the address was indeed a real apartment complex.

Be very very very careful. If they aren't in the us odds are it is fake.. If you know how to trace ip addresses when they send email you will be able to check quickly. I validated she wasn't in africa after the first correspondence, but i kept going to see how the scam would play out.

Another thing to watch for is the word "trust" if they talk a lot about trusting you and you trusting them it is total hog wash!

Thank God I didn't pay for this site. I was wondering why I kept getting flirts from really good looking woman and could not e-mail any of them except for a flirt. They say its free, ya right. All you can do is say hello or wink unless you have a paid membership. Total b.s. I knew something was off from the get go. Thanks to all of you for a little eye opening advise.

Singlesnet attempts to bill your bank account even after you have canceled the account with with singlesnet. I am having to go to my bank and have them reverse the payment. What Singlesnet.com is doing is criminal. I send a warning to everyone, DO NO USE SINGLESNET.COM, they will steal your money and show you a list of fake people and pictures and also re-bill you.

Singlesnet would not let me do anything but wink until I enrolled. This is false advertising. No free service at all!

Who was scammed by Singlesnet? How did you recoup your membership dues? I've heard their 100% money back guarantee isn't so guaranteed............
877 days ago by Kenneth Carr  [send email] 0 Votes
Yes I agree with everyone, Singlesnet is full of Bull. You can send flirts, but they are very limited, they say you can receive and read emails, thats a bunch of crap. You can receive them for free, but you can't read them. They say you can create your own profile for free, yes but you can't post it.

I'm totally tired of people coming up with scams to take advantage of the general public. They know that once we believe that someone has taken an interest in us, that we will go to certain lengths to do whatever they want. Psychologically they keep trying to get us by the balls, and after reading the afore comments, I'm not giving them one dime!!!

Singles.net has been as advertised to me. I am a paid member 2 months now and have met 4 lovely men near my age. We date and visit one another weekly, I have been very happy. These men have been gentlemen and as advertised. I guess I have just been luck. I, myself, have been totally honest, other than my photo is 1 year old...

I think you get what you put into it. All these people with complaints seem to me to be with a totally different organization that the one I am in.

I have enjoyed the site and received sweet attentions from quality guys and I will stay on it until I get the perfect man to spend my time with on a full time basis...

Keep up the good work, singles.net...

I have been trying to get these idots to stop spamming me for a long time. Any business that you must join to send them emails should be against the law.
