I am brand new to online dating, when i joined, they asked for search area, i put down 50 mile radius from where i live. I am getting contacts from all over the country, when i complained i received a "form email saying it based on compatibility. My profile info does not match what they're sending me. I have only been on here 2 weeks, already i have been tried to be scammed. I complain, same thing form email response. There's an old adage that i always have found to be true a first impression is a lasting one, needless to say i am not impressed. As a first time user i will not recommend this service to any one, i sent them several e-mails stating it's not up to me to police their web site. With the revenue they generate you would think that security would be paramount.

The first day that I signed up, i recieved a flirt from a profile, so of course, i responded! It turned out to be nothing than someone overseas wanting me to have a western union money transfer to their account so that they could "get back to the states to meet with me" I was so distasted with it, that I completely lost interest in all other profiles because of the possiblilty that they too had the same intentions. You would think that the $30 dollars i had spent for one month subscription offered me some sort of protection against fake profiles and scammers, but I guess that isn't in line with what singlesnet has in store with their "valued customers" Needless to say, I am no longer using singlesnet nor do I recommend it to anyone else out their who has genuine intentions of meeting "real people".
