Having made a purchase from a reputable on line company I was pleasantly surprised to learn at the end of the transaction that I would receive £15 cashback via Shopperdiscounts. All I had to do was signn up and my cashback and loads of discounts from many UK top brands would be mine. I got a shock when some days after signing up my credit card had been debited £10 as my subscription. I never agreed such a charge and at no point did there offer mention a joining fee. What a scam. Ive tried to call but the office is closed due to severe weather!

I have been scammed by this company. they are taking money out of my account daily and now I have to close my checking account and open a new one. They called me on the phone and talked very fast and I had just woke up and was still a little fuzzy. They promised me a $100.00 dollar target gift card which I know I will never receive. I know this because when I called them I could not get to speak to same people who first called. It is bogus and I would like to get this all over the internet to keep others from getting s...d by them. I think they are in another country because the 3 different women I talked to I could not understand them. They speak some sort of asian accent and we all know what that is like trying to talk to those people. I am P------ed off.

I have also had money taken from shopperdiscounts.co.uk without me being aware I have signed up for something. My credit card company has said I need to get hold of them and tell them that I don't want to use their services (?) any more but I can't find anything for them and their website doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have an email address or telephone number that I can call. I can ill afford the £10 they keep taking with nothing coming back!

Thank you

i recently purchased goods from a mail order company and a box came up to gain discount i clicked on and was told i would gain good discounts.it didnt include that a regulary payment of ten pounds a month would be deducted from my account each month.i have tried to cancel with the bank but have been told i must contact the company to cancel if i dont have any joy to go back to the bank and they will try to claim my money back.i think is a terrible thing to do to people to rob them of their own money when they are just using well know sights and companys and these people are abusing peoples good faith.

I attempted to contact mary@shopperdiscountsandrewards.co.uk with the e mail below, but failed to send it. I need answers and acknowledgement!
I was appalled to find that you have been deducting £10 pcm from my account for the last 3 months! This money has been taken unbeknownst to me, against my will and better judgement and is tantamount to stealing! I have received no service whatsoever for this money and would like the sum total refunded asap. I am retired and can ill afford to pay my own bills let alone yours! I have no wish whatsoever to be part of this scam and unless my money is refunded will be contacting Watchdog with the evidence. As far as I can gather all I did was accept an offer of £15 discount on my next purchase at Argos following a purchase of my grandson's birthday present. That's great I thought! The next thing was that you were party to MY bank details and had the audacity to deduct £10 from my account each month! Frightening! I will be informing my bank of this and Argos stores.
Here's hoping that my trust in human nature can be restored.

Hi there,

I cannot remember how I came in touch with this company. I never benefitted from any of their services.
I think this misfortune began with an order I have placed for something. But when I checked my Halifax bank account today I was surprised to note that the SHOPPERDISCOUNTS.C REF [protected] has been deducting a sum of £ 10.00 per month without consulting me. Please take action to persuade them to refund all the money they have deducted so far and cancel my account with them.
My email address for any query- iulia1307@yahoo.com
Thank you very much,
Best regards

I have just noticed that shopperdiscounts have been debiting my husbands bank account via debit card details for the last two months, thankfully another victim of shopperdiscounts left a telephone number to contact them. they told me that i could listen to what they had to say about the charge and decide what i would like to do after hearing what it was for. my husband had bought train tickets through 'thetrainline' web site and they had taken the details entered to buy train tickets. they explained to me that they are a company that could 'possibly' save you up to 20% on online transactions. though they did not give any details of companies you could save money with. I told them i was disgusted at the 'theft' of money from my husbands account and they refunded my two charges taken and have cancelled the future payments. i spoke to a lady called 'Debbie' and she told me the company owner is MR STILLWELL, and the company name & address is SHOPPERDISCOUNTS AND REWARDS, PO BOX450, SEVANOAKS, KENT, TN13 9HN

CALL AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK, THEY HAVE STOLEN IT!

Avoid this company at all costs - they are underhand and dishonest and will charge you monthly fees without you knowing. I bought a ticket for Wizzair and was charged £10 per month thereafter. They claim to send you monthly emails about your 'account' but at no time since signing up were these received - but you can't argue because they simply say they have it on record. Do not even CONSIDER purchasing anything via this website - go elsewhere, they are a backyard operation and do nothing for the integrity of online shopping. They should be closed down or at the very least more honest in how they deal with consumers. Do yourself a favour and avoid this website.

What else would you expect from a company that operates from these premises: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=Tubs+Hill+House+North, +London+Rd, +Sevenoaks, +Kent+TN13+1BL, +United+Kingdom&sll=53.800651, -4.064941&sspn=20.488956, 39.506836&ie=UTF8&geocode=FV5pDgMd79ACAA&split=0&hq=&hnear=Tubs+Hill+House+North, +London+Rd, +Sevenoaks, +Kent+TN13+1BL, +United+Kingdom&ll=51.276084, 0.185126&spn=0.001319, 0.002411&z=19&layer=c&cbll=51.276086, 0.185128&panoid=E2qcvadcJkFJSIG6QN9G-A&cbp=12, 237.64, , 0, -21.83

I have been and thought I still was a member of Shopper Discounts and Rewards. When I tried to access my account today, I recieved a message stating that my membership had been cancelled. I was never notified of this action, and I would like to know why. I would also like my membership to be reinstated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

UNKNOWN (OR UNDETECTED BY ME, THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN DEDUCTING £10 FROM MY ACCOUNT VIA AMEX AND, ALTHOUGH THEY SAY THEY WILL STOP THE SUPPOSED "ACCOUNT", THEY DON`T SEEM TO BE INTERESRED IN REFUNDING THE £60 THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM ME. Apparently, all I did was to book myself into a Premier Inn at Hull for a funeral!

I signed up for "myshopperdiscount" via a solicited phone call, on Feb. 22. I was told I would be getting information about this in the mail in 7 to 10 days. As of March 15, I still have not received anything via mail. I just received my bank statement, where the $2.95 was charged. However, I was also charged an additional $2.95 for "myleisurediscount" on the same day, aswellas, another $1.00 charge for
"usmagazine". All these charges were done on the same day. I cancelled all of these online and only hope that everything is now back to no charges for next month. We'll see. I do know I'll never sign up for anything via a phone solicitaion again.

I just changed my bank/debit card to get rid of someone who was charging me monthly for something I did not want, nor order...and look at my account today and find I've been charged $12.oo by someone identifying themselves as ShopperDiscount800-88976 CTUS. I have no idea who this is, never signed up for anything with a recurring charge, and do not know how to contact them to resolve the issue. Does anyone know who this company is and what they do, or how to contact them? If I don't resolve this I fear it will occur every month as I know I did not make a purchase from this company. Thanks.

I ordered a Pizza from my local Pizza Hut online and after I did so a screen popped up offering me £10.00 off of my next pizza if I filled out a questionnaire, which stupidly I did. I then found that my bank account has been debited with a £10.00 fee and they say that this will be done monthly. Whatever for. I don't want or need to pay for a service I can get for free and do every single week. I have emailed them but as far as I am concerned they are nothing but thieves. I guess I stupidly must have given them my bank details but I don't remember doing this. I did give Pizza Hut my debit card details and I guess this is how they have charged me.

I have received two charges from this company. One was called shopper discount and the other one was reservation rewards. I wrote the company in Connecticut and disputed these charges with my credit card company. I also emailed webloyalty.com with similar information.

I have just noticed a £10 deduction on my credit card statement. I have just been in touch with Tesco my credit card supplier and they inform me this has been being deducted since October 2011. That works out at almost £600 but i usually just pay my card off and not check (silly me). They tell me i cant get any of the money back but it has stopped from now. I have never signed up to any such thing so this is a complete SCAM. Lessons learned:- Check your statements.

Money taken out after purchasing a birthday card from Funky Pigeon, apparently there was a check box at the bottom to give you £5 off your next purchase, you have to cancel before 30 days or they charge you. in this case they charged £15. doesn't seem like much of a discount.

Buyer Beware is the motto today.

I was reviewing my most recent bank statements and discovered monthly charges/withdrawals from my account to this company. I went back as far as January of 2009 and discovered that they have been withdrawing money every month! I never signed up for this and I do not know who they are. I have notified my bank to be on the lookout for these charges and to deny them immediately. I will be seeking reimbursement from them and wish for any assistance that is available.

Unauthorised standing order set up without my knowledge or approval following transaction over internet. Reading through similar posts here it is clear that this is happening frequently - it's terrible that this is allowed to continue and so many people are out of pocket.

I found three consecutive unauthorised debits on my monthly bank statements under the entry: Shopperdiscounts.
These were not authorised and seem to have been initiated during a genuine transaction online.

I sent it to the email address we have on record with your membership. If you did not receive this email from me, please contact me at mary@shopperdiscountsandrewards.co.uk.

Shopper Discounts and Rewards is a savings programme for people who shop online regularly. The membership benefits include 10% cashback at over 650 online retailers, 20% off popular gift cards and a monthly cashback reward. It’s free for the first 30 days so you can try it out, and after that there is a monthly fee. Members can cancel their membership at any time.

The only way to become a member is to enter your details in full on the Shopper Discounts & Rewards sign-up page. The details you are required to enter are: your name, your email address (twice), your postal address, a new password (twice) and your credit or debit card details for the monthly billing. You did not specify. If this is a financial institution charge, then you need to talk to them. It could be something as simple as a monthly service fee. If it's not your financial institution, then your statement should tell you who this charge is from - or your bank can find out who it's from and their contact information. Then you need to contact that organization and ask them to cancel what ever the monthly fee is that they are charging you. You have to take action for yourself with them directly. Be proactive. Get on the phone - make phone calls and find out who, where and why this charge is happening. You first contact should be your financial institution. They should be willing to help you get the issue resolved if this is indeed an unauthorized charge to your account.
