Shell overcharge at pump

On June 29, 2012, I stopped at Shell Station, hwy 49 & Pass road, I believe is the intersection. If not, it is the shell station closest to down town Gulfport.

I had vacationed nearby and wanted to fill my 2012 Chevolet Equinox for trip to Florida. My gas guage read 3/4 full. I expected to pump no nore than 7 gallons of gas. The pump ran at two or three times the normal rate, and I finally stopped it at 17 gallons costing me over 51 dollars.

the foreign employees from India or Pakistan were very rude threatening and abusive when I asked why pay at the pump w/my debit card required a trip into the store to do transaction. Ghetto behavior!
Will never do business with Shell again and plan to tell as many of the 200, 000 people that I see working at Atlanta International Airport nearby to use another company!

Shell I had lost more than 6 lacks for this mail

Shell petroleum develoment company of england I have lost more money for this *fraud mail first they asked for the airport clear and again and again they asked money and speak like a very good person and already gave the winning amount to some persons our communications will be only through the diplomat he will ask the money again and again this the last amount, I had spend the money by asking credits and sold my golds because he told that it is not possible for get the winning price and will not send back the amount I had spend for this wining price so my mind set is in the position to spend the money when ever they asked

Shell shell credit card

Shell turned me into my chase identify for past due balance, I called your rep tonight 04-17-2012 @ [protected] in regards to this problem.
I moved in octbober from 9800 lonsdale, austin, tx 78729 to 13021 hymeadow circle, austin tx., I never received a statement., I asked your rep, to send me a statement so I can get this cleared up, he said he would do so.
I have had simmular situations, (postal service screw up) please review my past record, the bill will be paid in full as soon as I get the starement.

Stop the blame replyer. The poster posted a bogus address and account number, because Shell's skip tracers are complete maniacs. The poster will pay it WHEN THEY CAN AFFORD to. I"ve been through this, and no matter what the situation, even if a customer is dying, missing, or getting a crime committed against them, they are still hounded and destroyed by Shell's skip tracers who are too narrow minded and psychotic in their mindsets to realize that cirumstances sometimes prevent someone from paying a bill on time. It's narrowmindedness and cynicism toward the debtor, like how you responded, that makes it's worse. Nobody should have be driving into completely insanity and even death due to crazy skip tracers. ANd yes, I do believe a Shell employee went ballistic, so I"m closign my shell accoutn as a skip tracer goes into, not just my shell accounts, but tries to follow on ym credit report, seeking and wishign to damage my credit worthiness when I've paid on time or only maxed out the account until I could pay half off. This Shell is another maniac creditor. Putting up bogus addresses and account numbers is the only way to get away from a psychotic skip tracer who enjoys disheveling a person's total lifestyle over a stupid bill for 20.00

Shell $2 minimum interest fee

I received notice that shell oil will be charging a minimum interest fee of $2. Really? Your already outrageous interest rate is not enough? When I called to cancel my card, the dialogue was laughable - insult to injury. The customer service guy told me about how economic times are tough. Come on! Do they think we don't know about the record profits oil companies are making? Yes, times are tough, but not for oil companies. He then told me that all the other oil companies are doing this minimum. I told him I hadn't been a loyal customer for 10 years of "all the other companies". I'd been a loyal customer of shell oil for 10 years, using their gas almost exclusively. No more, shell! I'll buy "all the other companies" gas now.

Shell unco-operative and rude cashier

All I wanted to do is to find out how much would it cost to purchase a shell gas station in that vibrant area in Richmond Hill. What I got was a rude and racist reply from this cashier by the name of Sam who works over there. He told me that it wasn't worth my money and that I should go back to the Philippines and make a living there. Being a generous and noble Canadian of Filipino heritage, I FIND THAT OFFENSIVE and do not forgive that man Sam who, judging by his accent, is of South Asian descent himself. He then told me to leave because I was taking up other customers time when there was no customer behind me and the area didn't seem busy. He then went to the back to ignore or call the police. So I left this despicable man. He looks like he's been doing that to other Filipinos who live in that area because I received a lot of complaints from my friends that he was treating almost every Filipino customer with disrespect. I want head office to investigate this man by the name of Sam and punish him severely by firing him or something.

Shell harassment

I've been going to this Gas station near my house for bout 2 yr(s) off n on. I don't go in all the tI'me, only to buy my cigars and other accessories ( food, milk, anything i want, etc ). I enjoy going there because its just a few mins from my house, no traffic, no problems.

THE ONLY problem i have over there is the employee's. I get profiled/judged quickly when i first went in and I decided to ignore it. I'm a big boy so I know how to handle myself, I was VERY patience with their harassment.

The lady over there asked me for 2 years for KOREAN FOOD that i worked at my restaurant. I finally brought her food cause I WAS SO ANNOYED by it that i wanted her to SHUT UP!. It was Korean Menu do that my mom know hows to make and she didn't believe me haha. What a suprise, my feelings was hurt by these accusements from them. THEY DONT EVEN KNOW ME and they are acussing me of lying and not being truthful. I AM SO FED UP WITH THIS CRAP, I DON'T DESERVE THIS!

One of the guys who is a decent height looking with short/spiked hairstyle. He wears hollister and criticies on my wear haha, but whatever, like i said. Im fine with this guy because I figured hI'm out already. He tried to scare me when iwas in line so many tI'mes. IT IS FUNNY. I MEAN I LAUGH SO HARD AT THEIR FACES EVERYTIME. Its HILARIOUS when people try so hard to make you into someone your not even IT. BUT IN THEIR MIND THEY THINK YOU ARE AND NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, THEY WONT BELIEVE IT.

The only person that doesnt harass me is the manager and I respect hI'm the most!. I even show these lowlives respect for how they are treating me, but tonite is enough and I'm done. Im going to set it straight right now.

If I were you, I would just take my business elsewhere. When I'm out shopping and spending my money at a store, it is not their job to comment on my appearance. If they do, then I would ask for a manager and if the employee wasn't reprimanded, I wouldn't shop there anymore,

Shell dirty gasoline

Im pasting the email which i sent the Customer Service of Shell Bulgaria,

Hello Sir/Madame,

I'am one of your client who is living in Sofia, and your regular client you can also check my Shell Smart Card Details Too:700431 0[contact for the rest please], in some holidays im travelling with my car to Turkey, for the Christmas holiday i wanted to come Turkey again and i bought nearly 65 liters unleaded gasoline(normal one not V-Power or V-Power Race) from Shell Dianabad at the enterance of Studentski Grad, and i started to travel...When i came near to border (Kapitan Andreovo) i wanted to make my car full again and there is one Shell Shop its really close to the border gates..I asked for normal unleeaded gasoline he told me there is no normal and they only sale for V-Power and V-Power Race i asked that in my gas tank i have normal unleaded if you mix with V-Power there will be any problem or no, he told me no it'll be better when you mix it...I sad ok for that and he put nearly 30 liters more in it and i passed from border...After 200KM, when try to start my engine the dynamo is working but its not making car start i need to try it 4 or 5 time and i should press the accelarator pedal in the same time, i went service to ask what happened thy told me its because of your gasoline you should change your filter and some other things.. I didnt done it actually i'll go to service in Sofia and im coming Sofia today i'll also send this e-mail to the Main Shell Company to make them see what's happening in Bulgaria, i'll take sample too from my gas tank to show it somewhere and i'll go to court to take my damage..It's the best company in the world how its possible to live such situation i really dont want to believe i'am always using Shell and after that im not gonna use more really! If you want to be sure about adresses you can see last place where i bought the gasoline from my shell smart card!

Shell gas card is a joke since they switched banks..everytime you use your card your minimum payment goes up.I have never heard that crap..My payment went up from $10 to $25 to $35 in 2 months but they wouldnt raise my limit.They basically want to you to pay your card off at the end of every month.Im canceling my card.

Shell bad gas pump

Today I stop at a Shell gas station in Detroit MI, 7 Mile and Grandriver. After going inside to pay for my gas. I return to my car to start the pump. While pumping my gas it would stop after ever16 cent. I payed for $30 in gas after it took me five minute to pump just $15 I went back into the store and got my $15 dollars back and complain to the boy behind the counter that this is ridiculous how they have the pump set up. All he could say is have a good day. This is just a another way of getting over on the poor people in that community. I have used other Shell gas station and never experience this before. Nor would this be tolerated in other community. After getting my money back I drove around the corner to a Marathon station where I was able to finish pumping my gas. I will never return to another Shell station and specially not that one.

Gas splashed all over the ground...note the receipt for .83 cents...
I was then able to put gas in tank... receipt on the left...for $17

i was at 12:05 am on the shell gas station 3649 gulfway Port Arthur, Tx filling gas on my car i paid $20 dollars and the pump finish at 12:16 to do it...this is not the first time because the last time i paid $20 dollars and i stop the pump on 1 dollar i wont come back on this station any more, so bad service.

Shell refusal to open the rest room

We bought $34.49 worth of premium fuel at the aforestated Shell gas station while in Austin, Tx. on a recent vacation. We also asked to use the rest room facilities. The attendant, an older Indian man, acted like he couldn't understand our request. I repeated and pointed to the locked rest room. Three times! Then he said, "No, I shall not open it for you."

I have no idea why he chose not to open the rest room to a paying customer. As a result, I will avoid all Shell gas stations and take my money elsewhere unless I receive an explanation.

Shell cashier threatened to call the police on me for paying with change

I had 3 dollars in change and 3 dollars in cash all I was doing was trying to get back and forth to work to take care of my children. Nikki informed me she does not have to take bags of change I had them in bags so it would be easier for ME to count the change to her. As I was counting the change to her she moved everything I had counted out of the way for the only other customer which was a friend of hers in the store. Then said she would call the police on me. She called the store manager he was not concerned at all about the situation and I informed him I would never ever come back to his store. This happened at Shell Highway [protected] Highway 280 Birmingham, AL, 35242 these people do not care about there customers or even want money cause they sure will never get another penny of mine.

Shell the filth in the bathroom

Me and 2 of my daughters and grandaughter had to use the restroom on Friday Sept. 17th at the Shell station noted at the top. My oldest daughter was in a wheel chair so it took us longer to do this. The complaint is that restroom was the filthiest restroom I have ever seen. It smelled so bad that we had to hold our breath and we complained to the clerk and he said nothing about it. I think that someone from the Shell company should go and take a look at this and to file a complaint against this place.

Shell charged for someone else's gas

I visited the Shell Gas Station at 207 E. Main Rd. in Middletown, RI on Sat. May 29. I pulled up to pump 3, selected 'pay at pump' with credit/debit, and swiped my debit card. The pump appeared to not be working correctly, and displayed a message saying 'discontinue host', or something along those lines. I waited a moment or two, and then the pumped displayed 'transaction canceled'. The station was very busy, and rushing to work I decided to leave and get gas later. However, on June 1st a charge from this gas station appeared on my debit account, for $51.24. I took my statement to the gas station and spoke with a Manager. I explained the situation, and asked him to review the security tapes to see that I indeed did not pump gas, and refund me the $51.24. He claimed that this particular pump did not have a security camera. How convenient. I explained to him that my car would not even take $51 worth of gas, and showed him on my statement that later that same day I did get gas at another station. I then asked if he could review the tapes anyway, he would see me at least coming and leaving from his station within just a few minutes, and not having long enough to pump $51 worth of gas. Apparently this Manager is lacking in the customer service department, he said that even if he could see that I indeed was charged for another person's gas that he could not refund me because he would not be able to 'track them down'...he continued on to say that when somone pays at the pump they're 'on their own' and that his store is not responsible for any mishaps.

It is really a shame because this Shell station is half way between my work and home, and nearby a coffee shop I frequent. They get a lot of business from me - or did. I am severely dissatisfied with this Shell station...and I'm sure Shell would not want a Manager like this representing their company. I've filed a dispute through my bank, but it is a shame that this Manager is not concerned with rectifying the situation. And it makes me wonder about a pump that stores card numbers even after displaying 'transaction canceled'...I will never patronize this Shell station again. And will most likely avoid Shell stations altogether.

Shell florida service station cheating card customers

I purchased fuel on 11/13/11 at the posted price of $3.25 per gallon. Winn Dixie has a promotion that if you buy from their grocery stores you earn a discount on fuel that you buy at Shell stations. I had earned enough points to receive 25 cents off of gas. The station only allowed 20cents off and told me to take it up with Shell. I used your Gas card (shell) which is the same as cash as the sign out front states.
I feel i was the victim of a bait and switch! If you want I will e-mail you a copy of my receipt.

Shell it is rude and no respect for those who can not handle the smoke

This morning around 8am, I went into the store to purchase my breakfast, and when I went in the store, the smoke hit you in the face. It should be a non smoking environment. And to top it off the employee behind the counter was smoking also. And blowing the smoke towards the cash register. It is one thing that the store is full of smoke, but an employee who smokes should still have a certain time. I will not be coming back into the store, unless it becomes an smoke free place. It is rude and no respect for those who can not handle the smoke. It was horrible. And when I went to check out the lady checking me out was more concerned about the person behind me than waiting on me. She should of waited to talk to her after I left, I did say something about the smoke, but the lady said nothing, no care, nothing.

Shell rude & arrogant behaviour with minimum knowledge of current situation

Good Day I would like to lay a complaint against the Shell Service Station on cnr Rifle Range & Kliprivier Drive, Jhb South. On Saturday 22/10/2011 at approximately 18:45, I visited the Service station to fill up on fuel. The attendant didn't inform me that their machines for Auto cards were offline. I asked him to fill R50 & then presented him with my Wesbank Auto card. In that time I heard other consumers complaining that the machine was offline. In turn he went to process the transaction, after over 5min he came to inform me that my card had declined. At that stage I had no cash on me & no cash in my account. I then reversed my car into a parking bay to allow other consumers to fill up on fuel. I in turn asked the attendant to continue trying as I knew there was no problem with my card as I used it the day before. He came back again telling me that there was a problem with my card. I asked to speak to the supervisor on duty whose name was Sydney. I even gave him my car keys to assure that I was in no way trying to fraud the service station. Sydney tried in no way to compromise but began being rude & arrogant. I asked him to call Wesbank to find out if it was a problem with my card & he in turn told me that that would then waste his airtime -> if that's the attitude of supervisors at service stations, then they are unethical! I informed him that since I put R50 petrol & if Wesbank was able to give authorisation, he could swipe for R100 & keep the R50 for his airtime. He then told me that how do I expect him to have the telephone number. In turn asked if the owner was available. He then dialled his so called owner's number (Faheem) from his cellphone. I spoke to him to inform him on the situation & he in turn started being verbally abusive over the telephone telling me that I will not his station until I pay for the fuel & he doesn't care what I have to say etc. He gave me absolutely no chance to speak. I then went into the shop only to find a notice at the till to say that their card system was offline... What service is that to be spoken to in such a rude manner by the supervisor, then the owners son (Faheem) when the attendants have not been informed nor informed the customer that their systems were offline. My husband in turn humiliated himself by asking other customers for money as I only had R45 in cash & needed to cover up the R50. What an embarrassing situation & how humiliating is that! I would like some sort of compensation for that as I needed to pick up someone that was ill & rush them to the Doctor which never happened because of the terrible experience & service I received. I would also like a written apology personally from Faheem & Sydney or else I will be laying this complaint on Hellopeter. They could have even try to compromise by saying I should leave my (new) spare tyre with my business card & I.D until they received their R50 & that would've been early yesterday morning... NB - I used my Wesbank Auto card at a Total Garage on Flamingo Street in Lenasia this morning as I always do & guess what - it went through perfectly fine just as it always does!

This Shell service station purposely fails inspections and tries to rip off customers. They claim vehicles need new brakes and other parts, when in reality everything is fine. They failed my vehicle for brakes and belts, and failed by law to give me a temporary pass until the problem was fixed. When visiting an honest, ethical service station, the vehicle passed with nothing wrong. Numerous reviews online show this Shell station does the same exact thing by luring in customers with coupons!

Good day all superiors of Shell.I would like to lay a complaint about Shell petrol station in Bishop Lavis, Cape Town. The staff, specifically the petrol attendants, each individual takes there own time, they are lazy and they have an don't care attitude. When I give an instruction to put in R200, 00 petrol, it goes to R200, 20 and using my card it takes off R200, 20, all the time, there was not once that it went it went lower than 10c over. The staff of Shell garage Bishop Lavis is the worse I have ever seen. My conclusion, new staff and management would help. Matthew Agulhas

Hi just fill up a mercedes e270 cdi on western aveneu a40 pump number 8 my fuel gage was showing quarter it took 71 litre to fill it up, mercedes said that if the vehicle run out off fuel my tank max capacity is 65 litre can anyone help me with calculation please

New owners are no better! They will blame bad reviews on previous ownership but I've since seen reviews showing that nothing has changed. Don't make the same mistake. Ill-done repairs and more damage. Stay away and ask for advice about trustworthy mechanics. Those are worth a pot of gold - not like these guys.

Shell took an additional $90.00 out of my checking acct with no notification

I bought $20.00 worth of gas at the 7-11 store on rt. 301 in King George county Va. on Sept.22, 2011. On Sat. Sept. 24, 2011 I checked my online banking statement and found that not only did Shell oil take out the $20.00 purchase but also took an additional $90.00. Which means I paid $110.00 for $20.00 worth of gas. This is one more way that the oil companies are rapeing consumers. They post no notice that they are doing this. It is no less than stealing. I have filed a report with our local authorities. But as of this posting I have not gotten the money returned.

I want people to know about this situation. You won't know it's done until it's to late. It can cause you to have overrafs on your checking acct. And the bank will charge you for it. And if you don't have enough to cover their theifing charges your acct. will be frozen.

We Americans need to stand up against this outrageious new crooked deal that is going on. It's time to stop the oil companies from rapeing America.
