Shell can not use credit card

this staion refuses to fix their card reader. u have to pay inside. he also replied it cost too much to fix them. therefor i have used other gas stations in my area. india owners. real rude and un professional

Shell Diesel pump routinely does not work

Throughout 2016 this TimeWise Shell Station (535 S. Fry Road, Katy Texas) has had difficulty with the dispensing rate of the diesel fuel. I have mentioned to the attendants several times and each time they respond that "the Manager is aware and is going to fix". It is now October and seems like nearly ten (10) months is long enough to diagnose and fix if they were truly interested in repairing.

This station is very convenient but I can't continue to use due to the extended fill time.

Shell No bathroom use after 7:00 pm because of homeless people

My wife and I stopped in at the Shell Station at 2890 S. Circle Drive in Colorado Springs, CO 80906 to get gasoline and my wife was very sick and had to use the bathroom facilities. We were told by the gentleman that the bathrooms are locked after 7 pm because homeless people come in and use the bathrooms after that time. Why do good-paying customers have to suffer because of these people? This is bull-crap and should not be happening to good, honest, hard-working people. I will never purchase gasoline ever again at a Shell Station and will also let everyone that I know to do the same because of how you treat your customers. Why couldn't this employee simply give us a key to the restroom? This is not only unconstitutional, but DEAD wrong...good people in this country are losing their privileges because of a few bad ones...

Shell pay at the pump

Not happy at all with new ownership. The staff is nice but the management sucks. Started going to this station since I worked in Sanford and also participated with the Shell Rewards Card. In the past year and a half I have never been able to obtain a receipt from the pump when using pay at the pump. Every single time I have to go inside to get a receipt for my purchase. Why then offer pay at the pump? I get the same excuse every time, "we are working on the problem". So how long does it take to correct this issue. If you like to pay at the pump to save time "DO NOT GO TO THIS STATION."

Shell gas station attendant

I bought gas at 11:44 am
went in the office to play 4 numbers mid-day and evening she punched up one number another customer walked in she told me to hold on and let her take care of him then she proceeded with the numbers another customer came in she did the same thing.I told her she can't keep doing that i will be in the store all day.She said i can't tell her what to do in her store.Then she said you people i said what a racist comment.In all she took care of about 5 people in front of me and i got no service.She is a petite indian woman with no people skills whatsoever.

I went to this shell gas station this morning at about 7:30am and i placed my credit card into the gas pump to purchase some gas. I pumped $20.01 and proceeded to get back into my car but before i could pull off i received a fraud alert from my bank advising me that in addition to the $20.01 i authorized. Another charge of $55.00 was being placed on hold on my account totaling $75.01. I then received another message stating that the hold would be release with in 7 business days.

I immediately get out of the car to go into the store to speak with the manager! He states he has no idea whats going on and advises me that it is my bank who is at fault. Actually stating to me that it is my bank who is charging the additional $55.00 fee.

I have been buying gas for more than 30 years and i have never been charged an additional $55.00 fee. I will never go back into another shell gas station for the rest of my life and i will absolute tell anyone within a sound of my voice never to ever go there either.

I actually had to call my bank to dispute your bogus ### charge and have them remove it!@! The inconvenience of having to wait on the phone to report a thief doing something they know is illegal. I work in the entertainment industry and i have contacted the local authorities.

You can just decide your gonna charge a $55.00 fee on top of a gas purchase! Wtf are you doing!

Shell not receiving correct change for purchase

I visited this Shell station, possibly a franchise, who refer to themselves as "Shady Oaks", located at 24905 US Highway 281 South in San Antonio TX, zip code [protected], phone number [protected], on September 1, 2016. I purchased 3 items for a total price of $6.46. I received $3.54 in change. However, I gave the cashier a $20.00 bill, so I was shorted $10.00. I folded the 3 one dollar bills with the coins and put them in my pocket without paying attention that I had been shorted. The cashier did not bag my items, she did not count my change out to me, and I had the sense that she was hurrying me. I discovered the mistake when I got home which was about 10 miles away. The next morning on Friday, 09-02-16, I returned to the store and explained to the Manager (Jay) what had happened. He was very cooperative and seemed to be genuinely concerned about the cashier's lack of "skills"and my missing $10.00. He hinted that she may have been stealing money since her register should have been $10.00 over and rather it was $10.00 under for her shift. Jay said, (and I quote), that "it wouldn't be the first time", (end quote), possibly referring to her or just past cashiers in general, I do not know. Jay said that he and the owner would review the video from a camera located over the register and would contact me with the results. He never called. I called back on Saturday, 09-03-16, and I was told that Jay would return on Tuesday, 09-06-16. Tuesday came and went, and again, he never called. I called the store again on Thursday, 09-08-16. The clerk said "that Jay was not in and that he did not know when he would be in, that day, or any other day." I was sure at this point that Jay was avoiding me. Today is 09-10-16 and he still has not called. I truly believe that I am the victim of theft. This store is located in a very isolated place ( about 10 miles south from downtown San Antonio) and I would assume that around 90% of their business is from locals who live within a 5 to 6 mile radius. This cashier would probably have known most (if not all) of her customers and therefore since I was not a local, or a repeat customer, she would have probably seen me as a traveler, someone who might be miles down the road before they realized that they were shortchanged, or in other words, a good "target". And since I never received a call from the Manger, Jay, who could have at least called to give me an update of his investigation, and who is obviously dodging me, then I have no choice but to assume that he too is involved in this theft, and that I may have been just one in a long list of people who are being shortchanged at this store as they travel up and down Highway 281 South.

Shell Gas station on 2270 Fair oaks blv in Sacramento ca have the rudest customer service, and you have to pay for gas in order to use the rest room at that location i understand that each station is independently owned but when I asked to her to see her rest room policies she said there isn't one so why do i have to purchase gas to use the rest room.

Shell I am complaining about an employee

Hello this morning I visited a shell gas station at 1720 pines blvd in miramar right next to the walmart. The problem I had was with an employee whose name tag said kachi. At first I went in the store he was leaning on the counter while there was a line backed up in which the other cashier was handling another customer, he finally said ill help you I ordered a black and mild and to my surprise it was cheap when he rang it up so I said to him sir can I get another one he then turned to me and said are you sure that is it, and stated I dont wanna be going back on forth, then he began screaming and yelling that I dont have a boss and being completely disrespectful he continued to cash me out not waiting for me to finish with my order in which I wanted gas also but he was so busy arguing and being so rude that I only ordered a small amout so I could make it to the next gas station. He is completely rude and unproffesional not the shell customer service im used to.

Shell not selling tobacco / alcohol by government id

Date/time: 8/23/2016, around 5pm

Shell gas station (1 enterprise boulevard, yonkers, ny 10701)

Description: I was buying tobacco and alcohol at the gas station and the cashier refused to sell them to me stating she needs a us driving license.

I had two government issued ids in english with my birth date on them as well as a us-issued visa.

Why aren't you selling to us temp visitors?

I am particularly angry with this incident as I live in a hotel and there are no stores nearby, other than this gas station.

Last week there was a job posting on Linkedin for shell - project manager position. I've appiled and yesterday i've recieved an invitation from Shell UK for job interview in London. The first mail was like that:

Shell behavior/ very poor customer service

I went in to get a cup of coffee at the shell in gold beach oregon, the creamer was running slow and I thought I was doing it wrong when the owners (Jim hunt) wife started yelling ( yelling very loudly) at me that it was out. I told her the creamer is coming out just slow and that I thought I was just pushing the button too hard and she continued to yell at me. I was still trying to figure out what she was so angry about and told her to stop yelling at me when her husband (Jim hunt) told me to get out. I don't know if she is on drugs but her eyes were huge and glazed. I was in sales for 20yrs and that was the worst customer service I have ever seen. All should avoid that store.

Shell cashiers changing product prices as marked and short changing customers.

Hello,
The Shell on North Bend Road in Cincinnati, Ohio, tried to short change my friend and I and also add tax to all the food purchases me made. I noticed this once I got into my car and immediately went back inside to ask for a refund. The cashier would not refund my puchase until my friend also pointed out they had not given her, her correct change back. As I was trying to receive my refund other customers entered and left once they overheard the cashier refusing to not only give back my friend's correct change but help me as well. I told the manager, Simon, about the incident and he told me that "he was a church going man, " which baffled me as it has absolutely nothing to do with stealing from customers. Last time I checked, going to church does not make you not a thief. Maybe I'm wrong? Regardless, if you're reading this and come across this Shell, please go down the street to Speedway and keep your money. Thank you for your time reading this.

Shell unethical behavior

Purchased gas at a Shell station 14424 US Highway 3, Fort Morgan, CO 80701 on 8/5/16 at 8:41PM. Gas prices were not displayed on sign. They were charging 2.99 a gallon! I only put in 20.01 because of the price. Just 2 miles down the road gas was $1.96 a gallon. This store is gauging people!

Shell gas station at 12051 huron st, westminster, co 80234

Stopped to get one gallon of gas because I was running late to a dental appointment, used my bank card outside at the pump, put in $2.09 worth of gas. Tried to use my bank card later in the day and shell decided to put $78. hold, for the 2$ charge. The 78 $ was all I had available on the card. Now I have to wait and trust that they will return it. Wondering if I had $200 or a million dollars, what amount would they have held for a 2$ charge at the pump. ... seriously? ? Now I'm starving till I get it back. .. thanks shell

Every Shell gas station has a notice on every pump, in English, that tells you there will be a $75 hold. Some gas stations go up to $150, and this is also announced in plain English on every pump.

If your credit card only had that amount left, then you need to reevaluate your spending.

Shell clerk "john" at ortega shell in san juan capistrano, ca

Negative review of clerk "john" (A middle-aged man) at the ortega shell in san juan capistrano, ca; thurs, 7/28/16 @ approx 6pm. I purchased gas, paid at the pump, then moved my car to a parking stall. I went in the store, filled out mega millions and powerball tickets, picked up a couple sandwiches and chips, and john — in a terribly wrinkled and unprofessional shirt — ran my lottery tickets through the machine, generated my tickets, rang up all of my items, and as I was running my debit card through the machine, he stopped me and said I needed to pay for the lottery tickets with cash. He reached across the debit card machine, and voided my transaction. I said I didn't have cash on me so i'd just get the sandwiches (And paid debit for those). He must not have heard me, since he again asked me for cash for the lottery tickets. I repeated that I didn't have cash on me, and that frustrated him to the point of looking at me and laughing. I said, "is this funny to you?" and he just said, "the law has changed, and everybody knows that." I said "I didn't know that," took everything but the lottery tickets, and left.

As I drove off, I decided that management should be aware of the calibre (Or lack thereof) of service this particular employee is providing. I see i'm not the first to comment on john.

So, I called the store to speak with management. John answered the call, and as I started speaking, he hung up on me. So I called back again, and this time I was directed to an automated system, I selected the store extension, and even though the greeting said voicemails are not monitored, I left a voicemail anyway, including my callback number. I will continue calling until I am able to speak to management on ways they can improve their customers' experience.

Actually you better let it go. Once you ask for Mega Million and Powerball tickets, you are required by law to purchase them as they are nonrefundable to the store. It is your responsibility to know the proper way to pay for lottery. It is also your responsibility to be able to pay for the things you request. If you can not gamble responsibly then you should not be gambling. He could have called the cops. You should say thank you since you got away with both not paying for the tickets you asked for, and for being an ### to a clerk only doing their job.

Shell Fake Job Offering with a Interview in London - LinkedIn Job Posting

I recieved an e-mail from Shell UK on Jul 27th, 2016 with a Project Manager Job offering and the invitation to a presential meeting in London with three attached files with job description, letter of invitation and tavel information. The files are like official company paper. The interview is booked on Aug 29th, 2016. But on the document there is not enough information about the job. I searched the names but I couldn't find anything. Then checked the domain names but the result is the same. When I checked telephone number of the travel agency I found this site and I understood that they want my money.

I also received the same invitation, I got suspicious on many small details: "HR" send invitation for a face to face interview asking me to travel to London and I have to pay my travel expense but through on agency they advise? And on the arrival I will get back the money? Why they didn't ask my certificates and make sure I am certified for the position? Why they reply on my mail in the middle of the night (in UK time)? When I asked exactly the job locations they gave me 4 possibilities (China, Saudi, UK and UAE) and I know there Is no shell projects in UAE, they are only stakeholders in UAE so they don't have direct jobs to offer. And lastly I was sure its fake when the "travel agent" asked me to deposit money for my travel (ay too much money, at least 3 times more than actual costs).
Gratia Travel does not exist they only have a fake facebook profile with a picture of an airplane :DDDD
Be careful, and suspicious all the time!
Shell don't ask money from applicants in any circumstances.

Shell tobacco

the station attendent name is victor on the shell at los osos valley road in los osos ca.93402 the problem is victor has no customer service skills i have went in in the evening several time in the past 2 yrs and he is very short with me as a customer i have complained to the asst manager twice about his aditude when i ask for a certain type of tabaco he breifly looks with a bad look on his face and says we dont have it and i told him i talked to the asst manager that she sais it would be in earlyer that day and just acts like he ownes the store and give you a go to hell look! once i took my sister to get a lottery ticket she ask victor how to fill it out and victor points at the ticket form and says very rudly there there and there with that bad customer service lous mouth of his!

Sounds like you have no customer skills. If he says he does not have something, he does not have it, regardless of when it was supposed to be in. He knows his inventory better than you. He probably gets short with you because you do not listen. As for the lottery form, it has instructions on it. Read them.

Shell no receipt printing

1601 N Capitol Ave, San Jose, CA 95132

I use this gas station very often to fill gas and car wash. For a long time, none of their stations print receipts. You have to go inside and get receipt at the counter. Sometimes there is long line and you have to wait. A typical customer does not want to go inside and wait at cashier to receive his receipt and will likely walk away without receipt. Why won't they fix their receipt printing issue? Should not I suspect some foul play? When I talked to the cashier, she told me that the receipt printing is out of order for a week and management is looking into it. In fact, the printing service is out for at least 6 months. I know its out of service for long because I use their service frequently

Shell behavior / customer service

Stopped at the Shell gas station across from Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster to get a soda. When I went to the checkout counter with my drink, both of the attendants looked at me then went back to piddling around. When I said "Excuse me", they ignored me. When I said "I would like to check out", they looked at me and then turned away for a second time. To this point they still had not said ONE word to me. Their behavior was entirely rude and completely uncalled for. I believe the reason for my mistreatment was because I proudly display my support for the Second Amendment by open carrying my firearm. Though my career choice should hold no sway over the matter, I also carry for the sake of my job. No polite, law abiding citizen who is willing to pay should be denied service, let alone for something as small as a soda!
