Shalloway and Shalloway review: SCAM..LIARS 1

Since we live out of town, we thought it was beneficial to have a local team supporting us. Paid them $10, 000 and got nothing in return. Thought they could expedite the medicaid and VA benefits filing process. Our case worker said all the other medicaid cases were closing except for Dads', but never seemed to get a reason why. She always seemed to spend "hours and hours" at the office reviewing cases. How complex can a middle class 91 year old's case be? Dad died while waiting for medicaid, nearly a year later, not to mention that we couldn't change the facility he was in prior to the file being approved. He died from an accident sustained in the facility we wanted to move him out of. Came through one week after he died. As far as the legal docs are concerned, they simply rewrote the ones we already had in place. Mom is now waiting to claim VA benefits for almost one year. Dad was a WWII vet and she is entitled to survivor benefits. What is so complicated? I'm quite sure I could have done better myself. Always getting pushed off and ignored by our case worker at Shalloway. Extremely poor customer service. The excuses now sound exactly the same as Dad's. "All the other cases are closing except Mom's." Boy, what an expensive lesson to learn. This is probably all a scam. Not sure if any other firm in FL is better, but I certainly would not recommend this bunch of clowns.
