This agency is a scam charging people over $840.00, they charged my friend 650. I put a complaint on there face book page and this girl messaged me saying she was charged $840.00 or photos. Are you kidding me. Please don't pay this agency a cent. Its a new agency and they should cover your cost for photos and you should only pay for your composite cards.. Call the cops right away and the fraud squad. dont trust this agency!
Sevenmodels is using images from other sites found around other model sites, Con artists! LMAO
I was greeted by a hot chick who was clearly eye candy; as part of the con.
She sat in the room during the interview and said nothing; ever... So... eye candy.
I was brought to a fast talking; but not so smooth talking man, who tried his best to flurry me with word word words!
He had one picture of a man in a newspaper and the matching image on a website. (both items can forged when you're on the Con)
He pressed hard for the sale in a really uncomfortable way, and spoke to me as if he had no time for me; so I better take it or leave it.
I've used Googles image stools to search for the images they use, and have found them on other model sites which is a bit odd; wouldn't you say?
Over all a real agency with real work, will pay for your photographs; and take their cut after your paid.
Seven models will treat you like pigs in a pen... Get em in so we get paid!
P.S. In the streets this is called a FLEX, it's a scam.
well, i was wrong with my previous opinion about this agency, Only scam agencies post ads on craiglist and Kijiji. They will tell you that they are paying 1500$ for portfolio which is a blatant lie. You pay 650$ for comp cards and pictures as well. Its a photomill scam.
Orange, seven, icon, m models and max are all part of the same family run by a group of brothers.
I am one of the models representing this agency. Models are self employed and work as independent contractors. You are starting your own business, therefore like any business you must invest for your business to succeed.I don't understand why people think if an agency likes you then everything should be free. Its common for an agency to charge for comp cards and headshots and yes they might be expensive but they are worth the investment as compared to those crappy $200 comp cards. They don't use any photographer or any person with the camera. They have one of best photographers i have ever worked with so whoever is spreading stupid rumors just stop and ffs get a life

The Good things about that agency I'm sure are written by them selves, otherwise you came to work and make money not to pay in front.
In fact Any Agency who is charging their clients up front just F..k it up with them right away. Call Ministry of Labor. Call 311 or 211, they will definitely help you.
It's clearly mentioned in the modeling contract that they dont charge for portfolio but only for printing the head shots and composite cards and they are not printing one or two cards but several hundreds.If you go to any reputable agency you have to pay for the printing of the composite cards, don't expect everything for free and also they don't talk bad about other agencies.
Reputable Agencies make their money getting you work, not off the goods and services they sell. Please be waery of any agency that advertises. U can get a list of agencies via Actra Toronto or EIC
Haha I am one of the female model who works with Seven Models and I found staff very professional and friendly. Online any business competitor they can right anything they want to ruin the reputation. If there was any incident happened mention above why they don't have any police complaint. It's very easy to right these type of things online all you need is one new email address.
yea he is a scam.he told me how big his company is but actually he has no other employer. I'm a photographer. He asked me to do 5 shoots for free. he said it's a test. so i did it then he's gone. he also sexual harassed a model i know.

Seven models and talent management is not a scam! Where this person got that kind of information that they charge $840 or about photographer? It's not true. I have signed my contract and working with this amazing agency for 1 month now, and I'm really glad I'm a part of this wonderful team. They don't talk bad about other agencies and they are very professional. I see a good future for them, also, many people do know about this agency. So for people, whoever you are, stop posting false information, you should be ashamed of the posts you made.
Seven Models is the farthest thing from a scam. They charge you money yes, but it has never been $840. That is complete ###. When you go to the interview they thoroughly explain to you why you have to pay a certain amount, and what you would be putting your money into. Many of my friends are also signed up with Seven Models and we absolutely love it. They make us feel so welcomed and cared for. The owner of the company is the nicest man I have ever met. They actually don't talk ### about other agencies, especially not in front of customers, clients, or models because even though they build a relationship with everyone, they make sure everything remains professional. Either way, the modelling agency world is very competitive.. Lol it's funny because every complaint about Seven Models all sort of sound the same, I'm more than positive that it's probably the same person talking all this ###. Maybe it's an enemy the company owner may have, or a different modelling agency that's being bitter & envious, but Seven Models has actually been the first step I've taken to my career and I've loved every single experience I've had with them, as well as my friends that signed up with them. If you're looking for a modelling agency, I highly suggest you go there because I haven't heard one complaint from any of the models there.
I go in to seven models thing wow what a big office. all they do is talk ### about other agencies. I felt really un comfortable. How can I trust an agency that relies on talking ### about this agency. Good thing I went with my dad or I was probably would get suckered into this agency. All he did was showing complaints on orange models and couple of other agencys and when I asked him way doesn't he invest in my pictures he went crazy.
bottom line of the story is that this agency is scam my dad made some calls around to production houses and found out no one has a clue about this agency or agent.

Now i know those pictures on his site were shot for free. seven models i guess is scam in toronto as well . Thank god I saw this. Also i found the photographer wasnt even getting paid she is just working with the agency to update her portfolio. SO why is he charging me, This person was so fishy. I knew something was up. Weird south asian fellow .. lol i was thinking how can i trust an agency in a business center that is new and has no proof of work. I am not paying him any thing and canceling my shoot.
