We bought a meat package, at the end of the day. My husband wasn't home and the sales man said he had already talked to him and that my husband want to buy some meat. He would hold the check until my pay day, which he knew. He said he would hold it until at least three days past. So my husband came home and we did get the meat. However, much to our surprize, two days later, our check went through the bank. Our bank didn't pay, so the check was returned. We received a letter from the cattle exchange, "manager/vice president", saying we owed this amount. My husband called and made arangements to pay for the check on the day it was supposed to be paid to begin with. A week and a half later. I called the payment in, using my account, received a faxed copy of my check, and the receit and paid in full. The same day the cattle exchange sent the check through again to the bank. We didn't know this until I went to put money into our checking accout. We tried calling and could never get through. The following monday we received our normal bank statement and low and behold the cattle exchange sent the check back through two more times. Two days in a row. This time the bank paid on because there was money in the account. We also had 3 nsf charges of 32 dollers. We took our faxed receite to the bank and they did refund one of the charges. Yes the paid it twice. But we were told that it was up to us to get the rest back. We contact the Vice president and was told that he would have the matter setttled with in the day... That was at the end of November 2008. It is now the beginning of Jan.2009. We make calls daily and are told that the accounts are refunding as we speak.. And yet no money has been returned to us..
