Unsolicited orders, unanswered calls!

This company says their hours are 10-6PM EST and yet they never answer their phone no matter what time I have called (5 times so far). I am receiving UPS bags and bags sent from Evanston, IL and I never ordered anything from them and I don't even drink coffee.

Is anyone else getting this treatment? Solutions?

For the past couple of years we continue to receive scathing phone calls & flaming emails regarding the mistaken identity between our company Seattle Gourmet Coffee & SEATTLE COFFEE DIRECT. I must go on the record & say that we are not SEATTLE COFFEE DIRECT, nor are we connected in any way. We are coffee roasters located in Seattle, whereas they are not coffee roasters & not located in Seattle. They are located somewhere in Illinois. Our company does not promote coffee in this way, nor do we conduct questionable business practices like that. Not only have we lost business due to the unethical practices by this company, but our reputation has taken a hit after being a well branded name on the internet for over 12 years. I has reached the point to where we had to post a warning on our site to inform everyone that we are not SEATTLE COFFEE DIRECT. So please if you would like to order from an honest company feel free to view our site, & pass the word on to others that we are Seattle Gourmet Coffee & not SEATTLE COFFEE DIRECT.

I finally did get ahold of them to cancel: it was my second cancellation. they kept billing my credit card and had not even sent any coffee. They said they had not received the coffee I sent back (several weeks ago). Yes this company is a MAJOR scam.

the orginal order was only 5 dollars they took out 30. then in 2 weeks they took 25 more dollars out and we didnt order anything
we would like our money back that meant my insurance didnt get paid because they are taken money out that wasnt agreed on
please correct this

I was also a victim, They told me to send back the coffee and I would be credited. after sending back the bags of coffee some i had to pay for the postage and others were not opened so i just sent it back. I still have not received credit to my credit card. so i am out about 150.00 .

I ordered coffee and so far I have been charged twice, ($25 + 35.95) already. the coffee is not that great...folgers taste a whole lot better than the nondescript coffee they sent me. Anyone out there who have some advice on how to get a refund for some of the charges would be appreciated.
This is some kind of scam and it should be stopped. How can we the consumer be protected.

I, too, have been scammed by Seattle Coffee Direct...They sent me extra coffee along with the intro. package.. and con't. to send coffee...I have called them once (so far) and my account was suppose to be closed and I was to be credited for returned coffee...I have so far returned 5 unordered shipments of coffee but haven't seen any charges refunded on credit card...I regret ever getting involved with company and will never order coffee from anybody, on-line or thru the mail, ever again...I'll stick with store brand coffee or instant coffee from now on...I would never recommend this or any other coffee company of this type to anyone...Don't just walk away from these types of offers...RUN!!!

Seattle Coffee Direct is garbage. I have also been charges 39.95 for coffee that i didnt receive. The coffee is garbage and i cannot get a hold of anyone from the number on the label on the package. I would also like a refund of my money for the items that I didnt receive. This is a scam and a fraud and this company makes all other decent companies look extremely bad. Companies like these need to be reported and closed. I am reporting to BBBonline for this nonsense and fraud.

I got scammed by Seattle Coffee Direct/ Bellezza Coffee & Tea & I complained.
I was told by Mark that my refund would be posted 3-5 business days, I called on the 5th business day because my refund was not posted as of that day & was told by Linda that it would be 10-14 days to be posted.
My credit card company [Visa] will not touch this for 30 days because the jerks have 30 days to refund my money.
The coffee company got their product returned to them within 7 days...WHY do I have to wait so long for them to step up?
I am very unimpressed & annoyed with this whole situation. I need my $25 to pay a real bill.

I had to call my bank and cancel my card. Not only was I charged the $25 start up fee but for the following 4 days I was charged twice the 38.95. I was mad!

I was sent two shipments of coffee which I did not order on March 23, 2009. I immediatley called and was told to refuse the shipments and when they were received my card would be credited. It is now May 5, 2009 and after several calls to the company and one fax they have sent my credit union that they would be crediting the card $77.90 I still have not received anything.

They are charging me like crazy!!! so far $77.90...I have not received anything for them...I also can't get a hold of the company from stopping these charges every week.I need some help on who to contact.

Finally...Seattle Coffee Direct refunded me all the money they STOLE out of my account!
And to top it off 4 days later everything came that they were suppose to send in the first place..

And I'm keeping it! That's for all the trouble they put me through!

i payed them the first time 5 dollars for a trial but with in two weeks i was charged on my card 121, 85 cant get anyone on the phone they sayed they would cancel please does anybody know how i can get my money back thanks

here you go.I email them with my complaint.Got my money back. Hope you do too. Cancel your credit card and get a new one or they will keep charging you.

Today I placed a call to check the status of my refund.
I noticed that when I called using my home telephone number (the one I put on my application for the trial offer), the phone call would click off when picked up, but when I switched to another telephone, the call was picked up.
Are they perhaps screening for previously identified unsatisfied customers in order to dodge the phone calls?

I contacted the BBB bureau and the very next day ... seattle coffee Direct agreed to a refund of my money ... I am suppose to get this refund within 72 Hours. Hopes this helps.
