This company ripped me off! Their FREE coffee grinder and 2 bags of coffee beans for $9.00 is actually #34.00. They add a SMALL ONE TIME FEE OF $25.OO!!

My total today is:

Sept 18 $34.00 FREE GRINDER!
Sept 27 $38.95 2-12 OZ BAGS OF COFFEE

SO, IT HAS COST ME $72.95 FOR 4 12 OUNCE BAGS OF COFFEE!!! That's just under $19.00 per 12 oz!!

This company needs to be stopped!

You know what Jeff?? Most of us have called Seattle Coffee Direct's customer service and we get no where!! They say they will cancel the membership (I haven't had any shipments lately so I assume that mine has been canceled) and refund any shipments that have been returned to the company. But they will not refund the $25 initial charge which was supposed to be for 5 items that I never received. They also refuse to refund exorbitant charges for mediocre coffee. Its not like Seattle Coffee Direct's coffee is Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. It doesn't even come close. Really this company should be Ashamed of themselves!!! Stealing from honest hardworking consumers. Why don't you put your "further clarification, details, and terms" on the ordering page in clear normal sized typeset. Maybe then consumers wouldn't keep complaining over and over again about the hidden charges and fraudulent charges to credit cards!

I ordered the 2 bags of coffee and a mug and was supposed to pay $5.95..+ship and handling..on Feb 11th 2009; read about all the comments to the Negative ..I noticed in my online acct..not one but two charges from them the same day..for $25 and $38.95..one after the other..so I called to cancel..the guy I spoke to was Mark..he said he was canceling the order as we spoke..and that things had not been shipped out yet..I just called him, talked to Mark again..and he said we cant cancel cuz the stuff was already shipped and you have to pay the return shipping..to get a refund of any type...THESE IDIOTS need to be STOPPED! I can't afford to deal w/them..I'll go back to Starbucks..! Those were charges I never agreed to and being out of work 6 mos..surely can't afford THIS.
