Was told by breeder Farica of Scotts Puppy Palace that a male Malt-tzu she was selling on her web site was a very tiny little boy and he would be 4lbs full grown and very healthy.I picked him up at airport he had watery stool with blood in it.They refused responsibility. After having puppy treated by vet, puppy started to keep his weight on and continued to grow to be 12lbs..Scotts Puppy Palace claims that they specialize in Teacup breeds, that's what they do.When contacting them about this matter I was insulted by Farica and never heard from them again.

I bought my Morgan from them in 2012 I looked very carefully for the dog I wanted to purchase as my gram is terrified of big dogs. I looked for almost 2 months checking into many breeders. I am from PA grand home of the puppy mills 80% of Americas puppy mills reside in one county of PA. So you can understand my reasoning for seeking a dog purchase outside my state. I stumbled across their site by accident and for a few days in my free time would peruse and look at the pictures...then I saw her cute as could be pictured next to a Coke can barely as big. I immediately called and requested as much info on that particular dog and made a hasty decision because I just fell so in love however my decision turned out to be one of my best made in my 28 years of life. From what I remember they were so helpful I only ever dealt with Farica and she was so nice I still to this day have the original shopping list sent to me and Morgan still has the blanket animal thing they sent her with. Morgan is still extremely small possibly the smallest Yorkie I have ever seen. She weighs 4.3 pounds sopping wet. She is the sweetest best friend I could ever hope for. Scotts was so kind to me when I got Morgan I remember there were very strict rules for shipping her as it was approaching winter she had to weigh at leaslt a pound and it had to be 25 degrees at any and all airports she would be at her departure connecting in Chicago and finally her arrival in Pittsburgh. When I called and said I wanted Morgan I also remember Ferica being very up front with me saying it was beginning to get cold where they lived and Morgan was staying so small they were not sure that she would be a puppy they could ship out before winter due to her not weighing quite a pound yet they thought they might have to sell her locally to someone who could pick her up personally. With Gods grace tho and I'm not overly religious but I do believe Morgan to be a gift to me from God. I love my dog dearly she is the greatest thing to happen to me. I feel that perhaps with anything there are going to be good and bad experiences. I still have my agreement papers and everything that Morgan came with I have her pedigree 3 generations back along with her AKC registry. I seriously had no issues with them and would buy another dog OFF Farica the woman I dealt with. It seems most of the complaints are from dealing with a man I had no interactions with a man. I really hope they aren't a puppy mill or anything cuz I couldn't bear to think of my baby ever in a situation like that. I love her to death and am so glad I got her.

I bought my furbaby Yorkshire Terrier from Scott and Farica's Puppy Palace about 2 years ago. Our baby is a perfect under 5 pound rare colored Yorkie and I literally love her with my whole heart. We have had NO problems whatsoever. Scott and Farica's was very patient with us in answering all of our questions even after we paid for and got her home. I was like an over concerned first time mother. Now, I look back on it I probably aggravated the crap out of them but they never showed it. I would even call in the middle of the night with questions and they had no problem with getting up out of bed to reas ure this overbearing furmother. When not if, I go 2 buy another, I WILL BUY FROM Scott and Farica. I just wished they bred Brussels Griffons. Thanks again 4 this Gift from God, Scott and Farica's and we will be buying another shortly!

I purchased a Yorkie puppy from Scott & Farica in June 2005 and had him flown into Traverse City Michigan where I picked him up and brought him further north to home. I was sold a full size Yorkie and that is exactly what he became. He came with his health records from the first 12 weeks of his life. He was healthy and adorable! I named him Coby and he was truly the sunshine of my days and my very best friend. He was the smartest little guy in the world and played fetch 24/7. In my wildest dreams I could not imagine ever having found a better little buddy to share 10 wonderful years with. Coby passed away on May 3rd of this year. My heart is broken in a million pieces and I miss him so very much. Today was a sad day for me when I took out his papers to find where I had gotten him from so that I could perhaps start looking for another little buddy in the future...and I stumbled upon this site. I'm so very sorry that some of you had a bad experience with them! I'm also so very sad about the lose of your puppies! Now I begin to wonder...

They took $1400 of my money and now all their numbers/emails are disconnected and I still have no puppy... they are thieves... Who hide behind their religion and will def have to answer to a higher up for their deception. I have reported them for internet fraud and theft... Hope something happens to them and I get my money back in full...

This place is nothing but a puppy mill. These people say they are good Christians and they are not. They will tell you what you want to hear then rip you off. DO NOT BUY ... They are nasty people who don't give two craps about you or the puppies that they sell... STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF. Scott Lipe will have to answer to a higher up. Please don't be a victim.

I purchased a teacup Yorkie from Scott on May 21, 2014. Of course, his invoice required me to pay the entire amount due up front on paypal. I stupidly did so. Then, I couldn't get updates, pictures, or any information from him. On May 24, after my text requesting info, he told me that he would ship her to me on June 7. He told me his cousin had died in a motorcycle wreck the evening before, so I guess that was an excuse to not update me on the puppy. On May 30, I requested that he give me an update, as I had no info on her health, etc. since my initial purchase. He told me that they were out of town watching his kids play in a baseball tourney and wouldn't be back all weekend so he would send me info and pictures Monday night after work. I had to wonder, who is taking care of the puppies if they stay out of town all weekend? I didn't hear from him so I texted him on Monday. He said that he was at work but would update me that week. On June 4 I texted again asking - his reply was that he got real sick with getting close to heat stroke. He couldn't get out of bed so no updates. On June 7 (the promised shipping date) I again texted him and told him I was getting worried with no updates, pictures, information, etc. He got mad and told me that "he really can't believe out of the customers I'm dealing with your the one giving me trouble. She's not ready to travel until this next weekend anyway. Do you want to wait or get the refund minus deposit?" I'm thinking "what deposit?! Finally got a new picture and a single statement that she was "doing good" on June 9. On June 13, again after my initiation, I told him I was going shopping for her supplies and asked what type of food he had her on. He told me he would send me a shopping list that night. On June 17, I received the shopping list but no update. I again asked how she was doing. He didn't respond. I texted again the next day (June 18) and he just said he was looking at shipping her on Friday or Saturday (20 or 21st). I told him either day would be good. On Friday (June 20) he texted and said all the spots for shipping the live animals were taken and it would have to be Saturday or Sunday. He would check but it happened to be his birthday that day and his wife was leaving him - asking for a divorce. Finally got her flight for the 21st (now 15 days overdue and a full month after he had all my money for the puppy). He lied about when the puppy would be at the airport, so I ended up waiting at the airport for three hours and then he lied about why the flight was later than he stated. He claimed that the puppy must have missed the connection, when the airline told me there was no such flight arriving at the time he stated. Who was lying? Then, worst of all, I paid for a registered puppy with shot/worming record, written health guarantee, etc. that is all promised on his website. I got nothing! I also texted him again in August asking for the paperwork that was promised. He said he would mail it to me. Yep, you guessed it - I'm still waiting and havent heard from him since. This man is a lier that claims to be a Christian, and then turns very ugly when you try to get updates on what you have purchased from him at a high price. I got my puppy, but she was dirty, not cared for, and I had to begin EVERYTHING with the vet, including worming that she should have had. Supposedly she was born on March 23, so she should have been 3 months old when I got her. With no health care. He is dispicable! Don't purchase from him!

I think the smart and responsible thing for any buyer to do is research as much as possible the breeders. Get references and if possible visit the home of the breeders. I noticed on Scott's Puppy Palace website there are no pics of the adult dogs they breed. Seeing the parent's would give you some idea of what your puppy will look like fully grown. Unfortunately there are so many breeders out there that are just in it for the money. I noticed also there are some religious statements from him on his website which to me is a big red flag. I believe people who try to make themselves look religious outwardly are in fact just hiding behind the rouse of religion and in reality are not religious at all. There appears to be more negative comments about Scott's Puppy Palace then positive. I would never buy a puppy from these people.

My Yorkie/Maltese turned 1 on 7/12 and I purchased her from Scott's in September.. Was told she's a Toy/Teacup sent pictures of a tiny little thing.. Well she's not, she's extremely tall with long legs and larger than all of the Yorkies or Maltese we come across, my point is their site is very misleading and I just expected to get what I paid for, bottom line if you decide to purchase a pup from them DO NOT expect a teacup/toy because these puppies are not.. I love my girl to no end and glad I have her as a first time dog owner, and realistically we all know once you have the pup in your home loving them and attached it's not like your going to send them back or anything.. But as a consumer you have an expectation and mines was not met when it comes to Scott's Puppy Palace and surely for not the price I paid, I could of purchased 2 Yorkies and they would of been smaller and pure breed..

My son brought a Morkie from them going on 4yrs ago. He wasn't a teacup like they said, he's 17lbs, but the sweetest lovable dog we have ever had. He had some stomach issues when we first got him, but after $900, and special food, haven't had a problem since. He does have knee problems, two torn ACL which I read in common in small breeds, from jumping. Had surgery on left leg which cost $2500, thanks a great Vet, he is doing great. Right leg will be done soon, he keeps hurting cause the left leg is good. Once surgery is done, was told he'll never have that problem again! If I was to get another small dog, I think I would go to a breeder close to me. I wouldn't trade our little Rascal for anything, but to be on safe side, pick them out yourself!

I bought a tiny chihuahua from them a few 3 years ago and I had had no problems with here great outoging little gril they only thing I see wrong with them is that they claim they have teacups and I do not believe there are any teacups they are just runts. They are very over prices where I paid $1200 with shipping for my girl and no papers on her what so ever I do not plan on breeding her in fact she is spayed but still for that price I would expect to see papers or something. I got another one year ago but not from them and I paid $400. I love my dogs but I would not pay $1200 again for a chihuahua.

I bought a Yorkie from Farica and Scott. I also had just purchased a schnauzer from another breeder. Their personalities are totally different and i wanted Farica to help me find a home for my Yorkie after I came back from vacation because I didn't like her personality. Farica was very helpful and very willing to help me find a new home for her however we decided to keep our Yorkie because I adjusted and realized that my Yorkie loves me and the kids. I believe Scott and Farica are good family oriented people and that some animals have health issues like us. My Yorkie is healthy and so is my schnauzer and both of them have been together from DAY 1. If your gut tells you something doesn't feel right, go with your gut and look somewhere else..You have that right!

My sister just purchased a tecup yorkie last week and received it on 2/28/2012, he supposedly had all its shots and was suppose to be healthy; as of yesterday, this little yorkie is in the hospital diagnosed with parvo and may not make it. I advised her not to purchase her dog through this so called breeder before looking into them further now she is beside herself and he may not survive and this will cost hundreds for the treatments. I made sure she made her purchase through a paypal account, so hopefully she can recoup her loses.

I have just recently purchased 2 teacup yorkies from Scott and Farica Lipe. I have a male and female and are the sweetest and healthiest puppies ever. I don't understand where your complaints are coming from because we have had nothing but positive feelings towards Scott's Puppy Palace. We are from Indiana and picked them up from the airport. They were clean and looked exactly like the puppies we saw on the website. Ever since then Farica has kept in contact with us and checks on the puppies. They are also easy to get a hold of when you have questions and are the most caring people and You can tell they love their animals. I would definitely recommend Scott's Puppy Palace when wanting healthy and loving puppies especially Yorkies!

After reading reviews and having purchased pure breed dogs from truly loving and incredible breeders, one thing to realize is that reputable breeders who are in it for the love of their dogs offer written contracts with health guarantees. If they aren't willing to do that, they don't believe their animals are healthy. Every good breeder I've talked to not only will replace your puppy of something happens that is clearly a health issue (early in ownership of course) but one even required that we give her right to buy the dog back if we ever had to give him up to protect the breed. Think about it is all I'm suggesting and ask for things in writing to protect yourself

I purchased two teacup yorkies from Scott and Farica and they were fine. Scott and Farica were very nice and helpful. The pups are wonderful and are very healthy. Don't believe everything you read. I would not hesitate one moment to recommend anyone from purchasing from Scotts Puppy Palace.

Teacup dogs are the result of breeding two runts of a litter. Some times the strongest pup of that litter grow to a regular size. Like any other pet, or person ones health is in Gods hands. I have known people with Teacup dogs that have been very healthy and others with health issues.I do believe that Scott and Farica should try to make the situation better in a case like this as it is heart breaking for everyone when a pet is actually ill or dies. There should be some sort of compensation fora sick pet or a loss. No matter what the business is, the seller should always make good on there product. And to the seller "the customer is always right". To the buyer, If you wan't a guarantee you need to go to a local breeder or online breeder that will guarantee the health of your pet for 1yr.

My bf and I purchased a "teacup" chihuahua from Scotts Puppy Palace about 5 yrs ago. They were very helpful answering our questions but toward the end when we payed they didnt listen to our request about not shipping my dog off till the next week. They went ahead and shippped her without our knowing and had my poor puppy waiting at the airport for almost 2 days! However Addie is not a teacup like they promised but a very big 7lb chihuahua! She does have a genetic skin disorder that requires a shot every so month. If your going to buy from them please make sure your getting what you payed for, and do research about them. If I had known about all the complaints toward them I would have thought twice about buying a dog from them!

I also have had issues with them. I received a teacup Yorkie puppy and after almost $500.00 in vet bills it passed away from cardio parvo. They denied that it had this disease when it left there home. They weren't even aware of two types of parvo. Cardio is contracted from the "mother" and not from stool like intenstinal parvo. They made no effort to rectify this issue. I refuse to even go to their site for anything. I know if my name were on the line that would matter but an innocent animals life should be above all first. Poor thing died with in a week of arrival. I am saddened to even think of how many ill puppies they "give away". Word to the wise, go to a breeder that you can personally visit and always get references and backgrounds on the breeders to be sure they aren't in any way a puppy mill situation.

Sorry to hear your puppy was ill. I just purchased a Chihuahua from Scott and Farica. Lil Blue has no health problems what so ever. You are the only complaint against them that I have seen. I had no problems with the purchase or with Scott and his wife.

Sorry to hear about your puppys illness, I am not sure you can breed 2 diffrent breeds together and guarantee the size will be tiny. All of the Maltise and Shizhus I have ever seen are around 10-12 lb, I suppose that there would be a genetic throw back in size. A little bit bigger dog is easier to walk on a leash, less breakable, and probably will have less defects in the end. I hope you still love your pet.
