This is a reply to "Joanne from Utah". I did get my money back from Dazzle White without much of a fuss on the phone and I did get half of my money back on 2 of the 4 books that I thought were coming. Come to find out, the weight management and all that other crap were articles you were supposed to look up on an email that was sent to you by Dazzle White. I never got any article from them and told them just that. I am still fighting with Smile Brite or whatever their name is now. They have charged me twice and I certainly didn't order 2 trials of it. If anyone gets the AARP paper, not the big magazine, there is an article in there this month about this very type of scamming and it tells you how to get ahold of your attorney general and the Federal Trade Commission so maybe if enough of us write even if your not 50 we can get this kind of scam made illegal and stopped!! My bank account was hit up for $79.95 (twice) for products I did not order but were charged on my bankcard a week AFTER I cancelled the Dazzlewhite. I followed procedure and called the toll free number (the day after I received the merchandise as the 14 day "Free Trial" begins the day it's mailed and they send it out "snail mail" so it gives you a week at best). I entered all the info (including the last 4 digits of the card used for the Dazzlewhite transaction per request). This is how they can hit you up in a hurry for any other product they can think of to get all the money they can from you.

I called Chase bank immediately, reported a fraudulent charge and they have already closed my card and issued me a new one. The charges already will be credited back to my account in 2-3 business days. Move fast people. Call your bankcard bank and GET THESE THIEVES! ! !

Yeah Shalyn R. I am sure you didn’t want to cause any confusion on your page. SUREEEEEE. That is exactly what your company is doing. Your company uses the word FREE TRIAL making everyone think they are going to get a free sample of your product. Yet little does your customer know that once that trial period is over they will be billed 79.95 and if they don't act fast they will be billed 79.95 every month after that until they do cancel. But good news customers, 79.95 is the discounted rate. You can go to the dentist and get it professionally done for the same price as two months of your DISCOUNTED price and a FREE TRIAL PRICE(a total of 239.85). I never knew a free trial could cost so much. Last time I checked when something is free it would not cost you a penny but I guess that is only back in the good old days when dealing with your company. You say that good customer service is your goal than let me give you an idea on how you may be able to accomplish that. You can start by giving your customers a free sample no strings attached instead of a free trial period that will end up costing them 79.95. And since your company wants its unused product back so bad you can include a pre-paid envelope so that the customer may return the product back when they are not happy. Seriously what do you guys do with it???? Send it back out to other unsuspecting targets??? I wouldn't doubt it but hopefully that will come back to bite you in the butt one day when one of your "customers" or targets gets a disease from that returned product and sues for millions. Since now a days in the U.S. you can sue for any reason. Because, according to your great customer support they want that unused product back even if you have herpes or any other disease. He said as long as we get something back. That’s smart!!! GREAT JOB!!! And the last thing you can do is lower your prices to a real discounted rate. At your rate you are better off going to a dentist. What do you think??? Sounds like great customer service RIGHT???? But of course why listen to the guy that knows how to provide great customer service when you can scam people out of there money. The product probably doesn’t work and that’s why you have to take the money as soon as possible. Oh and to "Joanne from Utah" F.T.P!!! (watch a George Lopez comedy show if you want to figure that one out)

I looked into this claim of free trials by this sweet innocent looking mother and I saw what you had to do to get these free trials. You are signing up for a subscriptiom to these product which allows them to charge your credit card. It appears that they do it immediately, too. These kind of scams have been going on for at least 30 years. AOL should remove this ad from their site.

I fell into the same trap with the free offer, they told me I had to return the free trial that I ordered in order to get a refund for the charge of $117.00 plus all the other charges of email mag, plus health member, vh access, what a scam, the manager was rude and would not credit my account, sad what this company does to make money and the the poor people that must work for this company, what kind of folks would work for a company that is so dishonest...gking

I too have been had by these teeth whitening scammers. Complaining helps us vent, but nothing will be done about it and thousands of hundreds of innocent citizens like us will become victims. I've done some research, like member Shalyn has and this is what I have found out. We as consumers have rights against fraud. Please take the time to submit a complaint to www.fraud.org. This is the home of The National Consumers League who works along side with the NFIC (National Fraud Information Center). Your complaint is automatically sent by electronic means to local, state, and federal law enforcements. Some agencies cannot take legal action on every individual complaint, they look for patterns and an excessive amount of complaints. What we provide is essential for stopping these crooks. I'm asking for anyone who is as mad as I am to fill out a complaint form. Remember, the more complaints that are submitted the more attention the case will be.

Once a person is victimized they are more likely to be targeted again. Be on top of your banking accounts because they will not stop trying. Believe me!

It's me again, I made a mistake using the name "Shalyn" as someone who I thought was getting research info. for those of us who have been scammed. I meant to say "Kenedy". Please read her comment. She's done some research too.

WOW!!! OK-- I just had to make a lot of calls today after checking my account & finding MULTIPLE surprise charges... thought this might be helpful to all of you out there that have gotten "suckered" like me...

If you order(ed) from Dazzle White (also known as DazzleSmile and other names)-- BEWARE!!!

You will need to cancel your Dazzle White account (or you will be charged $79-ish each month)
Also... as I just found out today... they say it's in the fine print (of course)... you will be enrolled in 3 other "free-trials"... for me, they showed up as "wellbhealth", "elitepack", and "ezykit" ...

All 3 (plus DazzleWhite) will be recurring charges until you call & cancel with each.

These companies are known for changing names & numbers... but here are the numbers I was given after MUCH time on the phone. Hopefully it will help you (and save you hassle and time).

Also note: some of these charges take up to 28 days to appear. If only some have shown up on your acct... call and cancel all of them before the other charges come through.

Dazzle White / Dazzle Smile... 1-888-948-5508
[ask about their policy to get your money back... also, ask which parts to send back]

Dazzle Trays (shows up as "wellbhealth") ... 1-888-843-7617
[if you send back the trays, you can get the $48.92 refunded]

World Club Fitness ("elitepack") ... 1-866-396-2729
[this first charge of $6.21 is a loss... but if you cancel, you will not be charged again]

Weightloss Resources ("ezykit") ... 1-866-417-6059 or 1-866-437-1621
[this first charge of $8.53 is a loss... but if you cancel, you will not be charged again]

Make sure that you keep up with all of the cancellation #'s.

Also... you may see "INTERNATIONAL SERVICE" charges on your acct... these are all associated with any of the before mentioned transactions... because the companies are out of Canada (unless that is local for you).

Hope this helps... I know that it has been a very expensive lesson for me...

I was surprised by Howe many people have been fooled by these u s companies, i was beginning to think I was the only to be taken in by it, I don't feel quite so stupid now, I've just found out that I'm still being charged from three different companies for something I no nothing about & all this has carried on since I cancelled my order with dazzle-white over a month ago.

Thanks too you all for your comments, its helped me allot.

Best thing to do is cancel your c/card and get a new one. That way they can't take any more money from you. If you don't and you don't cancel with ALL the bogus companies taking out of your account, you WILL continue to get stolen from.
Cancelling with all the other companies is impossible, I tried, I was given wrong numbers time and again. Even if you do get to cancel with them all, there is no certainty they won't use another company to withdraw your money.

If you do manage to read a copy of the terms and conditions, there is a clause in it that says they reserve the right to change the terms and conditions without informing you. I.e. letting other 'companies' have your c/card details.

I can't stress enough, close your c/card and get a new one. Fully inform your bank of what has happened and hopefully they can recoup funds for you. At the very least, Dazzlewhite and its many guises will not be able to extort another penny from you.

NO MORE TURBULENT WATERS-

I want to quote another writer who is angry about the "Dazzle White" "Dazzle White Pro" "WhiteSmile" "EZ White" company's practices. Rochelle Campbell comments,

"Like everyone else I to have been SCAMMED BY DAZZLE WHITE...DO NOT sign up for your free trial they say you only pay $ 14.95 for postage & handling, but, then you are still charged $79.95 for the product. You will still keep receiving products and be charged for them unless you cancel them, They don't state that though!!! Oh and you will also notice on your BANK STATEMENT withdrawls coming out of your account from names like ELITEPACK...VH ACCESS...KITACCESS.As far as im concerned this is STEALING, like everyone else this company should be INVESTIGATED and shut down.I was one of the lucky ones by the sounds of it to be able to send the three dazzle white products back and be reinburst for my money. But also to be safe i had to cancel my credit card and be issued another one which cost me $10.00...I AM VERY ?*@# off with this company for scaming so many people...SOMETHING REALLY NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT IT !!!"

I feel your pain! In my case I had entered my credit card numbers to enroll in a $1.95 shipping cost of the "free offer" - June, 09. Thankfully I did not enter any bank card numbers when enrolling in the "free trials".
I cancelled my credit card a few minutes ago- Nov., 09. I believe that when this mess is done, I'll have paid $450.00 to these fraudulant "companies". The CC rep. asked me if I had filed a police report- NOT YET.

Wow! I wanted my teeth whitened... I should have gone to my dentist for the service, and I would have paid much less and had great results. These products did not produce any better results than what whitening strips from a drug store have done.

As for the other companies listed as making charges to my credit card... "accessmember" "elitepack" "healthmember" "VHaccess" and etc. ETC.- customer services reps. could not give me descriptions of products or services that they were supposed to provide. The "healthmember" representative I spoke with by phone (Don) said that his organization manages payment plan"services for over 5o companies" and that I would need to look on the internet to find out what services the "healthmember" company offers.

MANY PEOPLE ARE BEING AFFECTED BY THESE SCAMS...
I plan to do what "show.themoff" recommends and contact www.fraud.org !!!

*Complain and then maybe we can gain some peace.
