I tried calling - NO ANSWER Sooo.. NOT Waiting for them to charge my card the 88.95, I called the bank to have my card cancelled. The bank will issue me a new one right away AND.. Beware of small print. At the bottom of the ACAIX3 order page, in very light print is, "By submitting this form you are ordering a risk-free trial of ACAIX3. After this ten day trial, you will be billed the the reduced price of 88 dollars and fifty five cents a month, if you don't cancel." Call (866) 951-1393 to cancel your "subscription." If they have already sent the initial shipment of $88.55, then call the above number and obtain a Return Authorization Number to send back the unwanted product. The other option is to cancel your credit card and get a new number.

Thank you so much for your advice. I called to cancel my credit card before these scammers could charge me the $88.95! WOW! I thought I read these things pretty carefully!

Sounds like the thing to do when ordering one of these wonderful "trial offers" is to order the trail and then immedaitely call your bank and cancel the card so you don't get charged unfairly! I am shocked that these companies constantly get away with scams like this! Word of advice ladies, DON'T order anything on-line if they charge your card after a "trail period" or who say all you have do is "simply call and cancel if not sastisfied." You can go to GNC or your local health food store and get pretty much the same pills without having to give your credit card information to some unknown person or company. That way if you don't like them, you can choose not to go back to the store and buy them again. Good luck to all of you who are trying to get a refund.

Acaix3 is a scam! I was charged for shipping on the product, then suddenly the charge disappeared and i thought i wasn't going to receive the product. The product arrived after all, later than was expected, and the charge reappeared. I didnt recieve the product till about day ten and was then charged for the next shipment, $88.15! And thats exactly what it says on the website! The website gives you no contact contact information except in the terms and conditions section. I called the number provided in the terms and conditions: 1-866-949-0138, and was told that i did not have a subscription to their product! I called again and was asked for the name of the manufacturer and since there was no name on the bottle (another part of the scam) they could once again say that i did not have a subscription! Bulls***. But luckily i looked on this very website and found the number 1-866-951-1393 and called and the cancellation was very simple and my subscription WAS verified! Unfortunately since the product had already been shipped i have to wait to return it. So hopefully i will receive the package in a timely manner.

I made my complaint to the BBB, FTC and Oprah via her website.

On April 21, 2009, I ordered a free bottle of Acaix3 from a website that said Oprah endorsed it. the website said it was a free bottle to try out, and I only had to pay postage of $2.79. I received the bottle on May 1st. I also noticed a charge of $88.55 and $2.79 in my bank account on May 1st. I called them at 866-882-1281 and was told I had to cancel within 10 days to not be charged "the monthly supply". When I told her I only ordered the free bottle, she said, "Didn't you read the fine print?". In any case, I didn't receive the first bottle until 10 days after I ordered, so I didn't have 10 days to "try" the product before I was charged for the second bottle I had not received yet. I told her I wanted a refund and she said I had to wait for the second bottle to arrive before I could get a refund. She said I would then need to call them for an RGA#. Almost two weeks later I still had not received this second bottle so I called back. She said I should get it any day and gave me the RGA# and to send it to 405 E. 12450 Suite I, Draper, Utah 84020. I finally got the second bottle and sent it back via USPS signature on May 14, 2009. I called to let them know I sent it back and find out when to expect my refund. She said 7-10 days. I told her that didn't make any sense. It's not like they had to mail it somewhere. She said she couldn't expedite the refund until they received the product. I said "fine". I checked the tracking number on May 19, 2009 to find out it had been signed for. I called back on May 19th and talked to a guy who said they hadn't received it yet. I told him someone signed for it. He said it "wasn't in their system yet". I told him I wanted to speak with someone who does the refunds. He said they were not "reachable" and that I had to just wait for the "process". I asked him how much longer this "process" was, and he told me 7-10 days. I told him this was not acceptable. He said "It isn't MAGIC Maam" I told him I was reporting them to the BBB and he said "Fine, have a great day!"

This is their website, but I only found it after I made my complaints. This calls their product Acai-Pure but it's the exact same website, claims, tactics and labelling.

I agree this is a scam. I also ordered the free trail and was charged $88.00. I Cancelled the Colon Flush no problem, yet.
But thi ACAIX3 does nothing but double talk. I am calling my Bank to see what I can do about blocking the charges.
This company does need to be shut down!

This is a scam. I have been charged 2 times in one day. I was charged $84.72 and same day I was charged 88.55. I am canceling my card so I will not be charged again. I haven't tried to get my money back but I will try. I hear it is very hard to do. How can a company do this when people are hurting for money in this day and age. I just wanted to see if it worked which by the way it does not work. BEWARE EVERY ONE. Judy for Fl.

Update:
I jumped through their hoops, sending it back via signature, with RGA # on the package. I followed their instructions to the letter.
They signed for the return on May 19th, but I still do not have my refund. They finally responded to my BBB complaint saying that according to their T & C's that no further action is necessary on their part. Now they are denying that I am qualified for this refund. I finally found the T&C's and it says you have 15 days to try the product. I called on the 10th day to cancel them and demand my refund, so I am well within the 15 day time period. They had no business charging my credit card BEFORE the trial period was up either. I guess now I have to contact the Utah Attorney General, btw you can't make a complaint to them online, it has to be by phone or snail mail.
