This billing service is nothing but another way for the jails/prisons to make a profit off of the family and loved ones of people who are incarcerated. I am unable to pay for a prepaid account, but my home phone is capable of accepting collect calls from anywhere in the world. Why can't I accept a collect call from my loved one in jail? I am currently undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, and desperately need to talk to my only family member, who unfortunately is in jail. There must be some other option, other than putting more money into someone else's pocket and paying for salaries of workers in Mexico City and Dallas. What a waste of hard-earned, taxpayers money! I would appreciate an expedited response...I may not be here next week or tomorrow for that matter to receive a call from my loved one.
