I had placed an order with EverydayFurnishings.com for over $1700 on 10/2/07. We have made over 15 phone calls inquiring as to the status of out items. To date I have received nothing but false promises re the receipt of my items. I was told we would receive an $85 credit for the order taking sooo long; no credit was received. They did however charge my AMEX credit card 3 days after I placed the order, not at all following suit of all other companies that charge when the items are confirmed as shipped. Essentially they have stolen my money and the money I could have made off that money for the past 5 months. I was told they use a freight company named Alpha and Omega. I looked into this freight company, which is legit, but the contact # I was given from the girl at Everyday Furnishings does not match up... ONE HUGE SCAM! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. We are looking into consumer protection and any other means of exposing this illegal operation.

They did the same thing to my father -- charged his card immediately for a nearly $1000 cabinet ordered in October, promised a $78 discount a month later, delayed and delayed and delayed, and then suddenly stopped returning calls and answering the phone. We are not alone by any means, and I think something way fishy is going on there: look at how many other people have gone through the same thing: http://www.complaint.tv/everyday_furnishings-514.html. I filed a complaint at the Internet Crime Complaint Center, which is a partnership between the FBI and a number of other government enforcement agencies, as well as with the Better Business Bureau. Contact your credit card company to put the item in dispute and file a complaint with the New York Attorney General consumer protection unit -- you can do all of this online, although I recommend calling your credit card company and speaking to a person. If law enforcement is not informed, they can do nothing; you have to let them know.

Same thing here. 3.5K for bedroom furniture and no way to get it back. I am open to any suggestions.
