Scam
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 3 votes
Company information:
Ultra Lean Green
United States
Phone: 866-544-6590

The company and product are TERRIBLE - advertised a free trial with no obligations and guarantees galore - then you find $76 charge on your credit card MONTHLY. Not to mention I got loads of SPAM directly following the online purchase so I'm certain they sold my information. As for the product - it has a terrible taste, and gave me insomnia, shakiness and made me feel sick. I would normally never buy something like this online but I must have had a moment of weakness.

Don't fall for this very shady deal.

I'm sorry you had that experience. I personally am amazed by the product. After trying pill after pill it was refreshing to have something do what it said it would. I had an increase in energy, a decrease in hunger and although i haven't weighed myself my clothes are quite a bit looser so I'm a fan. The taste bothered me initially but when I mixed it with those Vitamin Waters I liked it a lot, but that's just my experience. It works for me, just like some pills work for other people, and I will continue with the product. I read the fine print. I knew that if I didn't cancel within 14 days I would be billed 70some dollars a month. So I had it rushed delivered the first time because if the product was really good it was worth 14.99 shipping and it would guareentee I could try it within 14 days. So I got it about 4-5 days later and cancelled within 10 days. My only complaint is that it took FOREVER to get through to customer service but when I did they let me off the hook without any extra billing and said if I wanted to come back they'd drop the price to 34.95 a month which to me was worth it because thats what I was paying weight watchers for the same result, but I was still eatting foods I wanted. Needless to say I came back and hopefully my next shipment will come before I run out of this one. I'm down to 2 packets. I don't work for the company I'm just a fat college student who was too lazy to work out until Ultra Lean Green Tea. If you want to talk with me about it e-mail me at pheephee85@hotmail.com. I'm on facebook and myspace too. Just ask me for that in an e-mail if you'd like.

I tried this product at a kiosk at a mall in Arizona. The kiosk was selling this product but under a different name. Beware of online and retail name variations Ultra green tea, ultra grean tea hp and countless of other name variations. At the kiosk they open up a bottle of water, pour this stuff in it, shake it up and voila! your weight loss miracle cure. NOT. My friend was with me and she found the product "kinda nasty tasting" but "tolerable." I immediately felt nauseated. I later threw this stuff up. At the mall, they were hawking this junk for $60 for a month's supply. Another company has a multi-level marketing opportunity worldwide for this green tea scam. I have seen pop up ads all over the internet for differemnt variations of this scam. I've never ordered it but have met different people who have tried the free weight loss samples they have given out. Here is the feedback I've gotten. Doesn't mix well with water-gritty. Doesn't mix well with juice-chemical after taste for an "all natural" product.
I hsve also seen all the ads for the wuyi tea. Don't order it through the scam sites. By the way, this very web page complaintsboard.com numerous google ads by the ultra lean green scam and the wu yi scam. Now, many of you like green tea (like I do) and want its health benefits. Go to the dollar store. They have many green teas the brew well and take an appetite edge off. Aching to try the wu yi tea. Go to a local health store or a tea store and ask for the ORGANIC wu yi whole tea. it is a bit pricy $20-30 a pound but you probably get a lot more than the scam wu yi sites. For my hot grean tea fix i like a 99 cents store "cali girl" green tea. i think you get 10 bags for a buck. for my sweet tooth grean tea fix i like the starbucks green tea frapuccino (ask for no sugar versions). $3.50 but a treat. for my iced green tea fix i buy "trader joe's" green tea bags $2.00 for 15 bags nk. for my wu yi fix i also buy my organic wu yi on ebay from trusted sellers. go to ebay.com search "organic wu yi" and contact sellers with good feedback. it might be $20-$40 a pound but a pound will last you 4 months. you can "rebrew" the tea leaves to get an extra cup. as for diets, i like the "get up and move your ass" diet. i haven't wrote a book on it. YET! However, I'll give you a hint "Get up and move your butt!" I try to eat well for 6 days a week and on day 7 I don't go "hog wild" but I have two desserts, a full breakfast and a buffet lunch/brunch. Okay--not in that order lol. I have lost 30 pounds in a year with this approach--not thirty pounds in thirty days. thirty pounds in a year but i have kept it off and i have 15 pounds to go. yes, green tea (not ultra green tea, of course) is a tool but not a cure. okay if you are still tempted to try this "green tea scam, " use a prepaid visa card that you can buy at many retail outlets. the westcor malls here in Phoenix AZ sell them in any amount for a service charge of $2. Get a card in the amount of $10--that way when this scam outfit charges you $4.95-9.95, depending on what "trial offer" you fall for, they'll get no more money than that out of you. If you want to use your own credit card, call your cc company and get a "virtual, disposable, one-use card number" and the company cannot charge you recurrently. Use this approach for any trial offer you come across or if "you sniff a scam" but your desperation to lose weight presses you to go ahead and order the stuff. I hope it doesn't make you throw up. I have nothing against this company; after all, i just sampled their product and did not do a trial ripoff--uh, I mean order. What bugs me is that a lot of people I know ask me what I think of this ultra grean tea stuff advertised all over the internet. I thought instead of telling them, I could just direct them to this great site. I also like dietsinreview.com To all of you struggling to lose weight, keep trying. It's harder to lose weight and even harder to maintain the weight loss but keep your spirits up and get an online weight loss buddy at yahoogroups.com "search weight loss and your state." Have you guys always wondered what it would be like to see yourself if you lost 10, 20, 50, 100 pounds? Go to weightview.com and enter your photo and you will receive a digital photo of yourself at your weight loss goal. Print out several copies of your "after" self and put them on your screensaver, your mirrors and especially the fridge! Want to maintain your weightloss, exercise everyday (i try to do 10-30 minutes a day on the Wii fit--the $350 investment I made for the Wii console and Wii fitboard is the best "weight loss" gift I have ever purchased for myself. If it is hot where you live (and yes, here in Phoenix it is hotter than the hinges of hell right now), walk the mall. DO NOT SHOP--WALK THE COOL MALL. Walk the track in your local high school, walk to the park. Eat your protein first then your veggies. Save fruit as a dessert treat. I have to admit I am too lazy to do this but I might try scribbling my daily food intake in a tiny spiral notebook. go to fitday.com and enter the stuff you eat for just a week. I did it and was shocked the caloric crap I was sheveling inside of me. Don't tell anyone you are on a diet just say to yourself "try to eat good stuff today." I have always been a late night eater. I have to stop the eating at 8pm. I gulp down two bottles of Dasani water. Of course,
I cheat sometimes but I make sure to grab those 100 calorie scack packs or sugar free popsicles. Well, I certainly digress. This green tea scam review has started to be "my diet blog" Sorry, everyone! I just read your comments on my lunch hour and I truly feel sorry for all the people who have $70 dollars of this worthless tea. I even feel sorrier for those of you that have recurrent fees charged to your account for several months. Please call the numbers the gracious posters on these boards have given you and try to get a reversal of charges. When you ship this crap back (I don't know what the return policy of this company) get a tracking number from the post office. It'll help you establish a paper trail when you approach your bank for refunds. Let's work together and get this scam and the countless other ripoffs lessened. It breaks my heart that countless college students are being scammed of their and their parents' money on facebook, my space, etc. sites. KIDS--LET THIS RIP OFF BE YOUR FIRST AND LAST. ADULTS--let get smart. Let's all repeat this mantra, "If it looks too good to be true, run!!!" Run, exercise, walk the weight off and "trial offer" means you'll be spending a lot of time talking to customer service agents (if you can ever get through). Read the fine print.. then reread the fine print, then "google _______(product name) and reviews."If you absolutely have to try this or that new, improved, free, miracle offer, leave your credit card in your purse or wallet. buy a disposable debit card and give them the "trial dollar amount" make sure you don't have over 30 bucks preloaded on the card or they might scam you on the 30 dollar offer or their sister company offers. never give them your cell/home/work number or you'll get every scam artist on planet earth preying on you. give them a "freemail address" so you don't worry about deleting countless scam. don't sign up for their other trial offers or you could end up with no money in your bank account. a co-worker told me about this (not this particular company)--she bought some household products "as seen on tv" and her credit card was charged $150 for numerous offers per month." Geez, this is worse than the NIGERIAN SCAM. We all laugh when we get these emails but think nothing about leaving our id, back account and cc info all over the internet. Check companies you do business with out--the first obvious clue of this ultra green tea scam. A P.O. BOX--WHAT? THEY COULD AFFORD TO RENT A MAILBOX FOR 15 BUCKS A MONTH AT THE UPS STORE?To the execs at these kind of companies and future shifty ventures, I hope there is a special place in "HECK" FOR YOU. LOL ACTUALLY, THERE SHOULD BE A SPECIAL JAIL OR INSTITUTION FOR SCUM LIKE THIS. I hope we can take this company down. I had customers in Canada (I run an electronics export company) that were telling me they receive 10 emails each a day from the ultimate green, ultra green and God knows how many name variations (I am sure countless of other companies are jumping on the scam bandwagon too.) So, Canadians out there immediately inform your officials so we can stop this Green Tea crap from invading Europe, Asia and Australia at a viral speed. Please post and repost all the feedback we have on this site at other ripoff/scam sites!
