Onestopmotors has called me non stop for weeks. I've filed a complaint with the do not call registry, but it hasn't stopped the calls.

I had an expensive car on Ebay for a couple of weeks, and they picked my phone number from the ad. I get pre recorded calls at all hours. I tried to call them to get my name removed, and the person that I spoke to was rude and short. I will file a complaint with the state of Nevada.

I was on hold forever, and had to call back several times to get someone to talk with me. What a bunch of jerks.

These jerks call me constantly. I have asked them at least 20 times to put my phone numbers on their do not call list. Every single time they say they will do so. Again and again, I keep getting called from these people. I am compiling a list of times and days they call as US trade law provides for a $500 judgement per phone call if they keep calling after they've been told to stop. So far I have them for 58 phone calls which will be a $29, 000 lawsuit. I'm waiting for the 100th call to file the lawsuit and stick it to them hard.

OSM has well over 100 plus employees and work their tails off to do w/ they do.
in fact, their te ONLY co. that rendres the services they claim to.

since osm opened their doors 7 yrs ago, there's been a near 20 to 30 indivduals that have attempted to start their own "2stopmotors"...

as of today, there's 3 to 4 companies that call sellers of vehicles in las vegas and "claim to do similiar / SAME services OSM does!" - THESE COMPANIES ARE TRUE SCAMS!

OSM was the first company to offer the aggressive advertising campaigns that are available today...it makes me sick to see the things written online by them - LIES and COMPLETE BULL SHIT is written online (approx 85% of the complaints online)... nearly all the complaints on THIS site, and others, have NO way(s) of verifying rather a person is who they say they are!
so for ALL you potential customers of OSM, i hope you take into account OSM is officially one of the largest online advert. sites in the automobile industry!
Nearly 85% of the complaints are phony - done by indivuals who give the online auto industry a bad name. OSM is doing everything possible to see to it that this slander / extortion is stopped and from what i know, their in the process of pursing legal action to shut these other companies down.

for anybody out there that reads this...I've worked in this industry for years! (former district mgr for cars.com to owning my own dealership)...this is by farr the BEST company I've EVER worked for, and can honestly say I've found a home and deeply respect rob wilder and his staff!
Their a GREAT company and are EXTREMELY successful in what they do. I recommend OSM to anybody thats selling a car (boat, motorhome, etc)

Of course it's the best company "Mark" has ever worked for. They don't drug test and they hire ANYONE. And speaking of verifying who you are speaking with...lets talk about the "pricing managers" at onestop. They aren't managers, just salespeople trying to get that sale anyway they can. And the company turns a blindeye to the very misleading things these people say on the phone. As a matter of fact these are the people the company rewards.

Ruby Slippers has their number.

Please do research and ask LOTS of questions before parting with $500.00 to advertise your used car with onestop or any other party that calls you.

O.K. Vuke, You know damn well that it is all BS. You have been there for 3 of the 5 years that they have actually been in business. The reps lie to get the sale cuz they only get paid if they get the sale and even you have told some BS to get the sale when you were in a tight spot. And I know you wanted to be in customer service you said it a thousand times, you have no idea the number of complaints the ads that never got up or the had so many mistakes that it would have been better if they had never gone up. The lies that clients were told...your car will be sold before your next credit card bill comes in, it can be sold for 2-5 thousand more than your asking...come on now, we all know that the pricing specialist goes to NADA or KBB and tells then the retail price for the car, to get them excited. and that we can get almost anybody approved for financing...guess what, they have only got about 5-7 people approved for financning...out of thousands of applications. You need to start paying attention to what is going on around that place and open your eyes. EVERYTHING in this comment and from Ruby Slippers is 1000% true. I know everything about OSM more than most and a lot more than I was given credit for. and I have the documentation on all of it. so if you have any questions about anything to do with OSM please contact Ruby Slippers or myself. What is an Opener?

An Opener is an integral part of our Sales Organization. Openers are the foundation of all the sales made at OneStopMotors.

What does an Opener do?

An opener is responsible for first contact with our customers. Your job as an opener is to inform and excite customers about out great services at OneStopMotors.

How does an Opener inform and excite a customer?

By being very knowledgeable about our products and services and communicating with enthusiasm. A good Opener has confidence in the power of our advertisement and informs consumers with certainty that they can feel! We call it “Turn them on and turn them over”.

What do you mean “turn it over”?

Once you have done a great job of informing and exciting the customer, the next move is to close them! This is done by your team leader (T/O) or a Front-to-Backer on your team.

Why can’t I close by own deals?

Over many years at OSM, we have perfected a script and strategy that closes a lot of deals. Work within the system and you’ll be successful. Try to work outside the system and you will fail. Period.

Front-To-Backer
Current Pay: Commission (20% - 35%) Vs. Guarantee
A “Front-to-Backer” is required to close their own deals. From the opening of the script, to the pulling of the credit card, you are now ready to sell on your own!
“Front-to-Backers” MUST write a Minimum of 11 deals a week (Mon – Sat) consistently, for 2 to 3 weeks in order to advance to a T.O.
The following points are ONLY for those individuals that are interested in surpassing their “Front-to-Backer” position, and ultimately advancing to a T.O. position…
Assisting your Team Leader is a MUST. When your Team Leader is on a phone call, and another opener (on your team) is in need of a T.O., it is YOUR responsibility to assist the opener in attempting to close their deal for them.
Each time you close a deal for somebody on your team, this deal will be added to your “minimum deal requirements” (min. of 11 deals weekly, as noted above).
EXAMPLE: If you have 8 deals for the week (deals YOU’VE closed on your own), and you close 3 deals for other individuals on your team, you now have a total of 11 deals for the week.
As a Front-to-Backer you are ONLY paid for your OWN DEALS! Assisting openers, while helping you on your way to advancement, will NOT result in monetary compensation.
Opener’s attendance must be consistent. You’re expected to be on time, and dress professionally on a regular basis.

This letter is to address the claim submitted by (your name here). On (date your service began), the claimant contracted the services of OneStopMotors.com, (OSM). In short, One Stop Motors works to assist individuals with the sale of their vehicles by providing greater exposure through marketing and advertising services. When enlisting in our program, sellers receive not only custom advertising and marketing tools, but a full-time in-house customer service team and access to our financing, shipping, and extended warranty partners. All of these services are available at the seller’s disposal until their vehicle sells. OSM charges a one time fee to cover service, marketing, and advertising costs.

(your name here ) contracted us to advertise his ( your vehicle ), and now disputes the charge, stating that he is dissatisfied with the services he received from us. The claimant’s dissatisfaction centers on the fact that his vehicle has not sold after four weeks of enrollment in our program. The claimant states that he was guaranteed by his sales representative that his vehicle would sell within the time frame above. While we do attempt to get our client’s vehicle’s moved as soon as possible, we do not guarantee a time frame for the sale of a vehicle. Our service is advertising. The only guarantee we as a company can make is this: We continue to advertise our client’s vehicles until those vehicles are sold. This is why we have provided the claimant with the complete ad package he signed up with us for, and will continue to do so at no additional cost to the client, until such time as his ( your vehicle ) has sold. ( your name ) reviewed and acknowledged our Advertising Confirmation Document which outlines the policies and practices mentioned above. Therefore we are unable to authorize a credit for ( your name ) for the reasons that services were rendered in full, and the claimant was made aware of our company policies and practices before payment was accepted.

Our supporting documentation will show that the claimant contracted OSM for services and provided payment on ( contract Date ). OSM promptly began purchasing advertising space and building his advertising package shortly thereafter. Please see exhibit “A” parts 1 and 2 showing that OSM has built and provided the claimant’s vehicle with the complete advertising package that he contracted us for.

Our No Refund/No Cancellation Policy was explained clearly to ( your name ) on several occasions. It was explained once to the claimant by an OSM salesperson during the initial sales call. In addition, the policy was clearly explained and acknowledged during a live sales verification call conducted and recorded by an OSM verifications agent with ( Your Name ) before we charged his credit card. Our No Refund/No Cancellation policy is clearly stated in our advertising confirmation document (ad agreement) a copy of which was emailed directly to the claimant at the time of enrollment. Please note that a copy of our advertising agreement is also posted on our website, available for all prospective buyers to review before they make the choice to contract our services. This policy exists for a very simple reason; once we have collected fees from a client, those fees are immediately reinvested into that client’s ad campaign. Since we guarantee to continue to advertise client vehicle until sold, once a client’s fees have run out of advertising are covered out of pocket by us. This makes it necessary for us to enforce a strict No Refund Policy. This is typical of most common advertising media (newspaper, television, radio, etc).

OSM uses additional site postings to provide added exposure for our client’s vehicles. By placing our client’s vehicles on high-traffic websites which are frequented by auto enthusiasts, we ensure their vehicles are exposed to literally millions of auto collectors and interested buyers around the world. Copies of these additional listings are enclosed. Our supporting documentation clearly shows that OSM is in fact advertising the claimant’s vehicle on all of the websites which he has contracted us for.

Enclosed copies of the keyword optimization that was done for the claimant demonstrate that OSM met its commitment of bringing the claimant’s vehicle to the top of major internet search engines so it could be easily seen by potential buyers. Key research has shown that the vast majority of people using search engines very rarely look at more than the first page of results. Therefore, it is extremely important that our clients vehicles appear on the very first page no matter how many thousands of results are returned.

Wow! Thank you to everyone for posting and keeping this link at the top of Google. If I hadn't found it I would have added an additional $299 to the financial challenges I'm in that have me selling my truck in the first place. I still have such a hard time believing there are so many people involved in scams like this. You would think that the people working for these places would have enough integrity and self respect to find another job. One that contributes to the improvement not degredation of society. When will we realize that self interest which promotes the growth/wellbeing of the self AND others is the only truly RATIONAL way to better future. To promote youself by taking advantage of others has reduced us from thoughtful human to competitive animal. One Stop Motors has been the victim of Internet slander. A number of negative posts have began appearing on the Internet dating back to 2007, coincidentally, the same year a disgruntled employee was let go from the company.

According to One Stop Motors President, Rob Wilder, the company has researched the complaints, attempting to match the names posted on each listing with their database of clients. None of the names listed in the complaints board match their records of active or past clients.

One Stop Motors believes most of the complaints are the result of a disgruntled employee that was let go from the company in 2007, as well as posts from local competition. “We have thoroughly researched each complaint that has been posted for two reasons. One, we want to see whether these are legitimate postings, and two, if they are, we want any customer, past or present, who is not satisfied with our services to contact us right away. We have always gone the extra mile to ensure the happiness of our clients, and we will always continue to do so, ” said Wilder.

Third party consumer protection sites have also researched the negative complaints and have publicly denounced their validity, declaring, “One Stop Motors customers can feel safe confident and secure when doing business with the One Stop Motors program - Committed to total customer satisfaction..
