What is an Opener?
An Opener is an integral part of our Sales Organization. Openers are the foundation of all the sales made at OneStopMotors.
What does an Opener do?
An opener is responsible for first contact with our customers. Your job as an opener is to inform and excite customers about out great services at OneStopMotors.
How does an Opener inform and excite a customer?
By being very knowledgeable about our products and services and communicating with enthusiasm. A good Opener has confidence in the power of our advertisement and informs consumers with certainty that they can feel! We call it “Turn them on and turn them over”.
What do you mean “turn it over”?
Once you have done a great job of informing and exciting the customer, the next move is to close them! This is done by your team leader (T/O) or a Front-to-Backer on your team.
Why can’t I close by own deals?
Over many years at OSM, we have perfected a script and strategy that closes a lot of deals. Work within the system and you’ll be successful. Try to work outside the system and you will fail. Period.
The system works this way:
You make the contact
You inform and excite the potential customers
You set up your T/O to walk into a well qualified call
Let your T/O close the deal
Make money!
How much money do I make?
Openers are paid 15% of all deals they close.
Is there any way that I can make more than 15% commission?
Absolutely!
Your goal here at OneStopMotors is not to stay as an opener. If you are successful, you can become a front-to-backer in as little as 3 weeks from your start date. Front-to-Backers make 20-35% in commission.
How do you become a Front-to-Backer?
Ask your trainer how you can become a Front-to-Backer.
ADVANCEMENT OPPURTUNITIES!

Listed below are the responsibilities and requirements for advancement here at OSM. Mastering the responsibilities listed for each level will prepare you for advancement to the next! The more an individual continues to prove him or herself, the greater the rewards. The Sky’s the limit!

Opener
Current Pay: Commission (15% - 20%) Vs. Guarantee
An opener must write a minimum of 10 deals weekly, (Mon – Sat), for 2 to 3 weeks in order to advance. This takes a positive attitude and working closely with your Team Leader.
Opener’s attendance must be consistent. You’re expected to be on time, and dress professionally on a regular basis
NO DRAMA!
Make effective and enthusiastic calls
Stay on the script and create well-informed consumers
Do your best to set up your closer with excellent “turn-overs”
Work within our sales system. It works! – DO NOT STRAY; OUR SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN TRIED AND TRUE! – See your Team Leader with any questions
Create your own pipeline by sending a minimum of 20-30 emails/faxes daily. THIS IS A MUST IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN A CONSISTENT $1K to 2K per wk. EACH and EVERY call you MUST receive an email, fax, or mailer. Building your pipeline consistently results in unexpected DEALS 30 to 45 days into the program
Keep consistently learning and improving your skills
Listen to individuals that have already perfected this sale! Ask your team leader for a “BARGE PHONE” – Barge other sales associates. Listen and LEARN!
Once you have mastered the points above you are NOW ready to be a… NOTE: A $50 Bonus is issued with each advancement.
Front-To-Backer
Current Pay: Commission (20% - 35%) Vs. Guarantee
A “Front-to-Backer” is required to close their own deals. From the opening of the script, to the pulling of the credit card, you are now ready to sell on your own!
“Front-to-Backers” MUST write a Minimum of 11 deals a week (Mon – Sat) consistently, for 2 to 3 weeks in order to advance to a T.O.
The following points are ONLY for those individuals that are interested in surpassing their “Front-to-Backer” position, and ultimately advancing to a T.O. position…
Assisting your Team Leader is a MUST. When your Team Leader is on a phone call, and another opener (on your team) is in need of a T.O., it is YOUR responsibility to assist the opener in attempting to close their deal for them.
Each time you close a deal for somebody on your team, this deal will be added to your “minimum deal requirements” (min. of 11 deals weekly, as noted above).
EXAMPLE: If you have 8 deals for the week (deals YOU’VE closed on your own), and you close 3 deals for other individuals on your team, you now have a total of 11 deals for the week.
As a Front-to-Backer you are ONLY paid for your OWN DEALS! Assisting openers, while helping you on your way to advancement, will NOT result in monetary compensation.
Opener’s attendance must be consistent. You’re expected to be on time, and dress professionally on a regular basis.

Be available at all times to assist your teammates to close their deals
Follow the directives of your Team Leader and assist them towards team goals
Work on your closing and leadership skills daily
Be professional and someone that others willingly follow and admire
Learn from your Team Leader what it takes to be a T.O.
Improve constantly!

T.O. – This is a MANAGEMENT Position!
Current Pay: Negotiated on a Case By Case Basis
Team Leaders (T.O.’s), have the most potential to make consistent EXCELLENT Money $$$!
Once you reach this plateau, you know have people working for you, making YOU money!
There’s no limit to the number of individuals a Team can account for. Opportunities for future earnings are unlimited!
