Scam artists!
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 10 votes
I am an esthetician and needed a new machine so i went online and found aaa aps depot. I ended up buying a ultrasonic skin scrubber from them. It first took two months longer to get then it was supposed to. When I finally got it, it didn't work right after one use it stopped working totally. I called and called aaa spa depot to tell them about it and say i needed an exchange. The would never give me a straight answer for almost two months the owner was mysteriously always out of the office. Finally I talked to someone who said to send it in, when I did I got the package sent back saying they were no longer at that address. They also changed there number and no longer have a website. These people are scam artist! Their names are Desiree and Nathan. They need to be stopped! I am now out the money I paid for the machine and also out what I would be making off it if I were using it in facials.

I agree!!! I bought my equipment from these people. The only thing that works great is the hot cabi. The bed they sent me is horrible. I can't raise or lower it to accommodate my height. The mag light keeps slipping down since there is no way to tighten the knobs to keep it still. None of my equipment came with manuals so I had to figure it out myself. Thank goodness I already know how everything works, but the manuals would have been helpful. I've left several phone calls and emails to Nathan and I never received any return call. These people are horrible liars. I wish I could get my money back!

Just a word of warning. They have a new name and web address. I guess the scams they pulled under the AAA Spa Depot name led them to replant. Same scumbag owners, new name. Someone should tell them that a new name doesn't equate to a new reputation...or a new level of integrity.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND SPREAD THE WORD.

New name is Spa Equipment Unlimited. Names are the same... Nathan Revivo, Rena Revivo, Mark Revivo and Desiree Adl or Desiree Revivo.

Web address is http://www.spaequipmentunlimited.com and it's only posted to help you avoid them. It is NOT an endorsement or a recommendation. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!!

To update...looks as though they filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, cleared their debts, and reopened the exact same business under a new name...thereby skirting both their responsibilities and their creditors.

Isn't there a law against this? Or at least a remedy for prior debtors? Is it really this easy to just pull up your stakes, avoid creditors, and get out of paying thousands in clearly owed money? It's horrible that companies can get away with this while those they hurt watch them set up a new shop with a clean slate. Not sure how they sleep at night.

I have been scammed also. Ordered steamer: Arrived, wrong steamer, scratched and IT DOES NOT OPERATE AT ALL.

Shawn promised to send a replacement and an ups pickup for the other. Over two weeks, later - ZERO. Plus they do not answer their phones or respond to contact in anyway.

This is how I am fighting back. I have started to call ALL Esthetic and medical shows where they are listed as exhibitors. I called IBS/Las Vegas today. Recommend that they do not permit these slimmy scammers on their exhibitors list. Should they do so, it would jeopardize many unhappy salon owners from attending!

I foolishly bought their equipment at the Long Beach Expo. They were very quick to tell me what great customer service they had and that if anything was wrong with the equipment that they would respond back to me promptly. When I got home, noticed that the wrong manual for the machine was in the box and that the high frequency machine only worked on occasion. I addressed this issue via telephone and email since FEBRUARY and have been ignored completely. I love the idea of calling all of the main shows to stop these people...maybe if enough of us do it they will be black balled from these shows and we can run them out of business. Going to file a small claims action as well.

ALERT!! Searching their names recently to see what else they were up to and Nathan Revivo and Desiree Adl (aka Revivo) who uses her maiden name to try and avoid scrutiny have started a new business.

They are the owners of Famous Cupcakes (www.famouscupcakes.com) and from the looks of it, they took the scammed dollars and just opened up in a new line of work. Perhaps you can pursue them there if you were indeed scammed, especially since they are supposed to be bankrupt.

Famous Cupcakes is as far away from spa services as you can get but perhaps that's the idea. I'm sure they will scam people there too. From what I can read, they charge $3 for a cupcake, lol, but at least people see it coming.

AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS! WE WERE SCAMMED AND UNFORTUNATELY, PEOPLE OFTEN FIND THESE POSTS TOO LATE.

Nathan Revivo, Desiree Adl, Desiree Revivo, Famous Cupcakes, whatever they want to call themselves...scammers to the core.
