Samsung unduly harassed by samsung attitude

My 4 year old semi automatic washing machine is not working since 22nd may 2007. I registered a complaint with the company (Complaint no. [protected]) on 24th may 2007. We were visited by a company engineer who decided that a part needs to be changed and he promised to get it done in two days.

On 26th I called up at the engineers cell phone number to be told that the part was not available, but he would definitely get the repair done in another 2-3 days time. Again I called him up and was told it will take some more time. I called up the company helpline, where they assured me that the complaint will be attended to within another 2 days. Everytime we fixed a certain date and time, so as to be definitely available at home, but were kept waiting without a call or any information. The hepline is useless as they have no knowledge of availability of parts, the cost of repairs or who will be visiting etc. Yesterday I managed to speak to the company service centre, where I was assured that they were inquiring the part on an urgent basis and would be able to get the repair done in another 2-3 days time. And the part that will be replaced will cost about rs. 1100 but comes with a one month guarantee only! I am definitely unhappy and feel unduly harassed by their attitude.

This Samsung AC is a pain, the engineer came and fixed it, but could not tell the solution so I could fix it myself in future. He did not open the AC to fix it but just pressed a few buttons. Can anyone tell me the answer please. Now its back again :(. Voltas is much better quality and service.

While going through the exhibition at cii chandigarh in the month of april 2007, I had booked one split ac at samsung counter. It was promised to me that the installation at my residence and one stabilizer which is required for the running of the said ac will be supplied free of cost along with other free gifts. Thereafter I deposited the required amount...

Samsung terrible customer service

I received my brand new refrigerator on april 23,2007. It was not working properly. It beeped every minute, 11 times, 24 hours a day. No light in my fridge and the ice dispenser was sticking, all the time. After 4 weeks of constant phone calls, to them. They never called me. I returned the refrigerator and got a maytag. They lied to me and never did fix my refrigerator. They had 1 company come out 1x and thats it. All they did was say, yes its broke, we need parts. After I returned the fridge, I got a call 1 1/2 weeks later from the service company that my parts finally came in. Samsung has a jd power award for excellent service. I have a 4 page documentation of how badly my service was handled. I was even lied to my their customer service reps, numerous times. I have emailed jd power, (I suggest anyone else please do the same) its jdpower.com contact them via email and either start typing or type ahead of time your complaint and attach it to your email. That is what I did. I also emailed samsung, of coarse I got a generic response. I am mailing letters and going on the internet to any complaint forum that I can find. Please do not let them get away with such poor service. I will never buy samsung again, but lets save other people from endless time and energy dealing with a company that will get you nowhere.

Thanks for reading.

We have purchased two Samsung big screen TVs a 75" and a 85" and both of them failed at the two year mark and There is no Samsung service centers in Interior Alaska. I have been working with customer service and they offered me a refund. What a load of BS, I don't believe they have any intention of ever giving me a refund, all they do is ask for the same information over and over and then they come up with new requirements that I believe are intended to make me give up and go away.

I wish i read these comments BEFORE purchasing a refrigerator- it stopped working within 30 days of purchase and the right hand has absolutely NO idea what the left hand is doing! Set up an appt for repair on a Thursday and then several days later got a text saying-hi we will be out Monday?! I had already changed appts scheduled for Thursday and now i am supposed to reschedule my Monday as well?! Wish I had gone with a different brand! Next time I will

I had a problem - The person I was calling, could hear his own voice (echo) so, Samsung Store (Vancouver) send my phone for the repairs in Toronto, later appeared another problem – the phone could not recognise any sim card. Then they send it again to Toronto. After I received, în a few days Echo problem returned back so they send it again to Toronto to fix. In total my phone was sent 4 times to Toronto for repairs – every time leaving me with no phone for weeks and a lot of waste of time and so much stress.

Guys believe me I have spend so, so many hours for the past 9 months over the phone, live chatting on computer and emails with their customer service telling me : “This issue was escalated in top priority and discussed with higher management” Everybody knew me already in their offices I guess. By the end I was speaking over the phone with the general manager of the upper department, you know what he said- I can hear this disturbing noise of the echo, but I can not do anything as our policy is to do what our computer test are giving, our computer test declared your phone is working good as per manufacturer’s specifications, so please use your phone as it is…
Can you imagine that?

I have learned one thing- nowadays all the phone are practical identical, our human eye hardly will see the difference- photos/speed etc. What you are really buying is the company you will deal with later. What you will do if your phone got broke? Samsung has the WORST customer service from them all, you can find tons of people like me on the net, Samsung will replace 99% of your phone hardware but will never replace you with a new phone.

Usually I am not writing reviews, but this case got me supermad, I have spend about 1400$ for the phone and wirelescharger and I keep it in my drawer now. I was huge fan of the Samsung, as I have many appliances în my house from Samsung, but this phone was the last one for sure. I remained loyal even after they were blowing batteries în people's hands with the Note 7 and I believed in them and I bought this S8+, but I regret so much.
Do not make my mistake. There are so many good phones like Iphone, Google Phone etc. with a great customer service- just ask your friends.

If anyone at Samsung reads this or gives a toss then I would like to hear from them, I have tried and tied and waited and waited for over 12 months for support from Samsung on my Printer, today I'm told to call HP they now do Samsung Printer support in New Zealand, well I was told they were there till 9pm, nope, then another number they gave me they said was the 24 hour support number, nope another lie the closed at 6pm, so I tried again online it then said no support as product out of warranty, well it wasn't when I first tried to get support, regardless even for a cost you think they would at least ask the customer the issue and offer some sort of support but no its HP and they don't even talk to you...So SAMSUNG I'm one very unhappy customer, I own many Samsung Products, so call me, be real give support call me New Zealand [protected], my issue I believe can be resolved just with a phone call or at least email me auzzie@outlook.co.nz my printer is a SCX-3405FW Laser Multi Function
I will live in hope as next step is the rubbish dump if I hear nothing from Samsung or HP

Samsung - India : A loyal user of Samsung Galaxy S & Note series since 2011, which also indicates that I had good amount of trust on the company. However on 16th Sept. 17, I got stuck in a rain for merely 5 mins, to my shock the “IP68” and “water resistant phone” Galaxy S7 Edge started behaving very weirdly after reaching home but in a funny way my other “non-water resistant” phone OnePlus 3 (I was worried a lot about the phone because of the rain) was perfectly fine and it speaks about the quality of the former.
Today I went to a Samsung service Centre by postponing my all other duties as the priority was to repair my “EXPENSIVE” phone. Now they’re asking me 30K INR to repair my phone for which I’ve already paid 58K+4K (warranty extension for peace of mind). I tried everything to explain them (service centre & customer care) but they’re giving me hell lot of excuses as rain water is not pristine and the warranty is valid for pristine water only and so on..

Now isn’t it false marketing when you are showing that one can use a product while it’s raining? Coz if you are not sure about the qualities and capabilities of your product then you should not promote them accordingly, isn’t it? Is it how you are planning to get back the trust of your consumers after the Note7 fiasco, Samsung? It seems Samsung is so focused in marketing their Flagship products that they forget to deliver the commitments and trust factor for which consumer buy their products at the first place.

Obviously I’m not going to pay 30K for the repair instead I can buy a premium phone for which I’ll receive actual premium quality along with services and shall not get trapped with this kind of scam.

Dears,
i am cherry, i faced a very bad experience with Samsung Egypt, the worse company and worse customer service i have ever seen.
i bought a mobile ( Note 4) since 3/11/2016. my phone has been dropped down (screen touch problem), when i came to the facility team they advised me that i can repair it with 2500 LE within 3 weeks.i even never heard about the VIP, by chance i heard that from my brother that i can repair my phone with the VIP system.i called 6580 Samsung Customer service, they advised me that i can be VIP member but i must check again with them in order to be activated on their system and the agent told me he can make exception as it is valid till 3/5/2017 only and i passed the VIP duration, at 23/5/2017 i called them, they confirmed to me that i can repair my phone with 400 LE only as VIP member. i gave my phone to my nearby store ( shoubra) they gave to me a receipt that i will pay 400 LE only to repair my phone.i attached the receipt. when i came to get my phone, they told me that my case was rejected.i called the call center manger ( MR Sarry Younis) he told me he will call me back and listen to the calls as i promised from his agent that VIP activation is valid and i can repair it with 400 ONLY. he was not helpful at all. even he didn't try to reach me . i called him and he advise me that they will not do anything to me. worse brand ever, they didn't respect their words.i advise all the people to not buy Samsung ever, they will regret as i am now.

About 6 weeks after getting a Samsung Gear 2 watch, it started to malfunction. It was sent in for repairs and was returned a month later with the same problem. I was instructed to send it back to the repair department. After a few weeks I received an email from Samsung saying it has been put on hold for an unavailable part. The repair center cannot provide me with a date when its going to be repaired. Any other company having this much difficulty repairing their product would have replaced the device. It would seem that Samsung repair center cannot repair their own devices.
I gave up getting my Galaxy Note 5 repaired after sending in 3 times. I have been a long time Samsung customer, no more, I cannot continue to support a company that doesn't care about their customers.

Also, beware of the bezel it is also defective as well. I purchased a gear s2 from best buy on December 2015 for my wife as a Xmas gift. About a month ago, during normal use (she was checking a notification) the bezel popped right off. I called Samsung Support and they gave me a shipping label to send off the device for repair. I did not hear anything back and got an email stating my product was being shipped back to me. I got the device and the bezel was taped back on and not fixed. I was furious, I called Customer support back and they apologized and emailed me another shipping label. I sent back the product but this time monitored the repair online. They wanted to charge me $73 for the repair stating that I had caused the physical damage. I left message for repair center in Texas but have yet to hear back after almost a week. It was not until I put a message on Samsung Facebook forum that someone contacted me about repairing the device. But I have been talking to Samsung Support on Facebook for 4 days now with no resolution other than we will give you a discount to fix the bezel. I am a loyal Samsung customer (3 Tvs, 2 note 4s, 1 tablet) and disappointed in how they treat there customers. There product is good but if it becomes defective good luck on trying them to repair it, even if its under warrantly. It's the prinicipal of the matter, where Samsung should stand behind there product and customer. I was not asking for a new watch just for Samsung to repair my Bezel at no charge b/c this occurred during normal use and I have a warranty. I will not purchase another Samsung product again nor will I advise anyone to do so as well.

Samsung cheating people

My name is saravanan I am from chennai tamilnadu in india today (18-may-07) we bought (Booked) one samsung split ac in my father name mr. P. Govindan he is a central government employee he is having the facility to by a materials through central stores deportment (Csd canteen). Today morning by 10am we went to fort csd in chennai, tamilnadu to by one 1.5 ton split ac they asked to pay the amount through dd we took the dd and paid by 10.30 am itself they (Csd) given a token to as and they asked to come by 2.30 pm to collect the formality letter we waited up to 2.30 pm not only we lot of people in the same condition. But sharply we got the letter by 2.30 pm that’s grate then only we came to know that we want to collect the split ac from one authorized dealer one how is setting 15 km away from the current location.

Then we reached the place finely now me and my father is happy because after this much of time waste at least we achieved today’s target but there one more big surprise is waiting for us.

The dealer (Ponnmoney marketing private limited, #4 railway colony 1st street, metha nagar, chennai-600029 ph: [protected], [protected], [protected]) simple saying the delivery time will takes another one week to 10 days.

During the billing nobody informed, during the time of collecting letter also nobody informed, after wasting one full day we reaching there to collect the material then only we come to know message.

The dealer is shouting on as and he is telling & ldquo;if you r not willing to wait you can cancel the order” but the thing is there is no procedure to cancel also. Ok, then we accept to wait for the period then he is asked us to sign in delivery chelan and also in all the formality papers if you are not signing we will not take the order like that he is saying. There is no other go we signed in all the paper including the delivery chelan and came back home with out any material. My very big worry is the amount which paid also money nobody giving anything freely but they taken our money with out giving proper documents.

I never seen this kind of worst dealer (Ponnmoney marketing private limited, #4 railway colony 1st street, metha nagar, chennai-600029 ph: [protected], [protected], [protected]) in my life.

Finely he said & ldquo;this is the procedure” that is for the dealer or for samsung I don’t know. One thing I want to say is we went to buy an ac but we booked it (That also not 100%).

Yes! Buying things in CSD is a worst experience. The canteen management behaves as if things belongs to them. But they must understand, they are not giving there things, it is government materials given to every ex service men. What to do. Because army culture is a slavery cultury. Officers getting royal treatment in stores where as all PBOR's are treated in a rude and unjustified manner

samsung is such a well known brand but its a shame how due to the foolishness of some careless dealers this big brand is taking a big blow on ratings, i have used a few samsung products and i am quite happy with their performance. i am planning to buy a split a/s so i was doing some research on the netand i came across this blog. well choosing samsung was at the back of my mind but i think it would be better to spend little more and go for performance in the long run. After all the reserach that I have done I would short list. 1. O GENERAL 2. CARRIER 3. HITACHI 4. VOLTAS 5. LG

its really sad when these electronic items conk off even though the companies spend milions on R&D but there are some manufacturing defects which are very sometimes very hard to catch during quality control. But companies should back dealers and take full responsibility of such faulty products. In the end what matters most is "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION"

its always good to buy stuff from authorised dealers who have a history of good customer care and after sales service.

I work for Philips in Dubai and we can go the extra mile just to make sure that the customer is happy.

We have purchased an Samsung A.C 1.5 Ton about one and half year ago. Recently we shifted our house to newly built. Shifted our A.C too. After fixing it very seldom we used our A.C. Meanwhile suddenly one stopped its cooling process and started only air was blowing. Called the technician and he attended the complaint and replaced a part called capacitor in the outer unit.
After replacement of capacitor A.C was functionin normally.

Suddenly one day total system was stopped functioning.

What might the problem please let me know. It's either electrical or mechanical.

Samsung refrigerator died right after warranty period

What a rotten product; what a rotten company. Shortly after the warranty ran out, so did the small printed circuit board which controls my refrigerator. When I tried to find out how this could be, all that I learned was that there is no person to talk to! At the same time, I was contacted by samsung to say that my washing machine was recalled because it could cause a fire. Finally, the very nice repair people told me that samsung wanted $349.44 for the circuit board... 40% of the price of the refrigerator. Classic rip-off. Don't be fooled like me.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator two years ago (over $900) and it suddenly failed to make ice and the control panel black out. After contacting customer service, I was asked to schedule a checkout for fix. Per a friend's bad experience with a Samsung refrigerator I bought a new one with different brand and hauled the Samsung to a junk yard.

I swear these things are set to self destruct right after the warranty expires. My french-door style [model RFG298aabp) stopped cooling at 5 yrs and 3 months. Called samsung and they led me to believe that it would still be under warranty if it was the 'sealed system'. I called back again to speak to another agent -- same story. I scheduled a tech to come out days later. First thing he said - not under warranty. Looks like the compressor is working but there is a leak somewhere... it would take time to find it. Estimate = $600-900 to repair.
I called Samsung to find out why I needed to pay to have a person tell me this and now eat the service call?! I asked to speak with the top rep department and have Samsung make it right -- repair this $3000 refrig. NO HELP. Sorry -- out of warranty. NO ###.
Nice people on the phone -- but no customer service or support. Despite being beat over the head on hold with the recording say... we strive and excel in customer service... B.S.
Not going to pay that repair bill to have something else fail... or risk it leaking again after the >ninety day< repair warranty.
Buying something other than samsung crap. But -- it seems all brands don't last at all.
My grandmother has a 40+ old refrigerator and oven that are still running strong. If they make parts for your older appliance? Don't get rid of it! Lesson learned. Not buying their TVs, phones, etc. Seems they are too diversified and won't support their products.

My warranty ran out 3 months after the date. My refrigerator side doesnt cool down. Samsung sent a company over to repair it. The tech was here for approx 5 min and said it was the defrost sensor, Five days later they came back with the sensor, replaced it and my refrigerator still didnt work. So i called Samsung back and they said they couldnt assist me, and for me to deal directly with the company THEY sent over. So now they said it was the computer circuit and they replaced that and the fridge is still not working. Im out $260 and i still dont have a fridge. I also have a Samsung TV which works great. I also have a front loader washer/dryer set. The washer works great but the dryer drum cracked in half yup 2 months after warranty. So i put my old dryer back in from Kenmore and it works like new. I will never purchase another Samsung product again.

Now I'm very scared by reading all of your comments! I have a Samsung side x side RS2556SH. I was told today that we need the Main Circuit Control. That sounds expensive to me. We got it 4 years ago at Best Buy. With all of your experience, should I spend the $$ to fix it or go buy a different one?

I've already sunk in about $200 so far - 2 weeks ago they came and replaced a fuse on the fridge side. The ice maker & water is not working either.

Any advice is appreciated...

What's up with the ice dispencer on the model RS2556BB side by side? At least once a week it clogs up to where the holding tray has to be taken out and shaken or dumped, defrosted and refilled.

I too bought a Samsung fridge (model # RS2555SL, side by side) in Nov 2003. I bought the 5 year service performance plan from the store where I purchased the fridge. THANK THE LORD!
Suddenly in Sep 2008 my refigerator stopped cooling without warning and the temp just kept blinking. I called the warranty plan, a tech came out and said the regulater went and he would order the part and put it in. During that initial visit, he unplugged the unit, opened the door, and took out the drawers and shelving. Unplugged all wires inside behind the cooling draw and removed a cover to reveal a coiled unit that keeps the fridge cold. IT WAS COMPLETELY FROZEN OVER, the tech defrosted it with a blowdryer like item, hooked everything back up and set the tempurature. In an hour or so the unit was back to the right temp and the unit was working well UNTIL 1 WEEK LATER WHEN IT DIED AGAIN! I called the tech back, he came out again, same issue, ordered new parts (THE COMPUTER BOARD), defrosted it again, and for a week all was fine. The computer was replaced and still the same issue. After 5 more tech visits and replacing the entire back of the refrigerator the unit was deemed unrepairable and the warranty I purchased covered the cost of a replacement of equal value to the specs on the model that was a LEMON! OH and lets talk about the food spoilage that occured during these episodes, luckily I was reimbursed under the warranty for every loss of grocery episode. I hope all of you who are not under warranty find this helpful and maybe try to defrost the unit inside the fridge side. PLEASE REMEMBER TO UNPLUG THE UNIT FIRST.

Samsung delay in delivery and installation of samsung split ac

My name is mani. I bought samsung 1 ton split ac in amutha & co, tambaram, chennai, india on 13-may-2007. At the time of purchase they (Amutha & co) said that item will be delivered and installed by tomorrow evening between 4 pm and 6 pm (14-may-2007) , but they did not keep their word. I called them after 6 pm on 14-may-2007 several times and when ever I call they were saying that item is coming to your area. And at 9 pm when I called they said that item has not come from storage itself and tomorrow only it would be delivered. If they did not get item from storage itself then why they promised me that it would be delivered on 14-may-2007. After that finally I received item on 15-may-2007 afternoon. But they did not install it. They said that service engineer should come from company (Samsung) and by today evening (15-may-2007) they will come and install. But no body came and I called them at 6 pm and they said that (Amutha & co) service engineer may come tomorrow or day after tomorrow. Is this the way of cheating customers? If dealers are cheating like this then why samsung is giving dealer ship to them.

Samsung poor quality product - horrible customer service

I bought a samsung air conditioner (As 18wcx) from bismi 0n 24 mar 2007 (Invoice number 20194) in kochi. Air conditioner stopped functioning (Of course the fan and compressor works, but no cooling) from the third day of installation. Samsung refused to replace the unit, but started sending technicians to repair the unit. But after 3 rounds of repairing the ac is in same condition.

I have been in touch with samsung customer service every week, they have give me letcher on heat load, electrical circuits, compressor. I had followed the recommendation made by the sales person at bismi. Either of these two parties should take responsibility and replace the ac and not use my home as a training ground for service personnel.

I completely agree that Samsung offers the worst customer service in the consumer electronics market.
I have purchased an 1.5ton split Ac from samsung in may09 and till today its not working properly.
The samsung engineers know nothing about their Acs and right from bottom to top everyone in Samsung is highly irresponsible.I think the company should shut down its operations in the face of numerous complaints that its customers have to face everyday.Complaints that never get attended.I think a boycott should be carried out by the consumers with the help of media to remove the name of samsung from the consumer electronics market. It is the ### company that i have seen.

I have purchased a split Samsung AC from The Time & Tune Behala Manton Super Market Ph No 033 [protected] on 27th May 07. The same was installed on that date but the air conditioner is not providing any chillness. It is getting started but after 2 to 3 mins only the fan is working.

I have complained over telephone on 28th ,29th ,30the & gone in person on 2nd June. Each time the service is confirming that someone will attend within one hour but no one has reported till date. If the mechanic reports that there is some problem with the machine then I will return the same & ask for refund of my money & buy machine of other company who gives good product & service.

We have purchased one SAMSUNG split AC from our local shop NATIONAL ELECTRONICS-SAKCH, JAMSHEDPUR on 28.05.2007. Service person who has come to install , simply intall and went back. Till today ( 31.05.2007) it is not started. After atleast 100 complain and 10 times visiting to shop, no service engineers have visited . Still set is hanging on wall without operation. The person who has come to install has finally told that this set is FAULTY and only service engineer can rectify this. But till now nobody has come forward to check or rectify it.

It is my sincere advice to all who are planning to buy AC, PLEASE DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG AC.

Samsung service is not available

I have purchased one samsung sgh x-700 mobile phone in chennai. The mobile phone is still under warranty. The mobile was taken to the company authorized service centre, at ayanavaram, chennai. I find the service engineers were not properly trained. They were unable to solve the problem. I was given back my mobile saying that the board got crack, and no spares with them and phone cannot be repaired. I wonder how samsung can sell a mobile in a show room, if they cannot offer after sales service. Samsung mobile buyers may kindly take a note of this and give a second thought if at all to buy a samsung mobile phone. This is posted fairly in view of good faith to warn the consumers.

Samsung samsung split ac sucks!

I have purchased a 1.5 ton split ac from a franchise named vasanth & co at my native pudukkottai (Tamil nadu). It was purchased around these time last year. It worked for a very less time for the last one year. Since we got the ac it is not too hot or we were not there at home most of the time to utilize. I can briefly say it is under utilized in the past 1 year. Now the summer has started and if we switch on the ac, it runs for 15 minutes and the trip switch turns off. We suspected the power supply and the hot climate. One intelligent underaged ac mechanic (Courtesy franchise vasanth & co) came and he checked all and he said all are fine with ac and only we need to increase the main fuse with 32 amps instead of existing 16amps. We changed and the result is same. Now nobody turns up to check and rectify the issue. The ac does not run continuously for more that 15 minutes. We spent 22,000 rs for nothing but a piece a ### the does not work. The samsung co. Is also not concerned about these franchise rascals...

Samsung no cooling, faulty compressor

I bought the air conditioner in summer 2005, since then it just worked properly for about 1 month. On complaining, nothing worked out. Service men come every time and say that the a. C. Is working fine and there is no problem despite repeated complaints that once the compressor drips it takes a lot of time to pick up. And now even after 2-3 hrs the compressor doesn't pick up.

I feel either the quality standards of the company are to low or the customer executives are all useless.

Local a. C. S work 100% much better than the samsung a. C. Split. And they are cost effective also.

it is quite common in India to pass on bugs to another. Samasung staff, either has the habit or has been guided to do so.
Usually they pass on problem to the power supply.
If they feel that power supply has the proble, it can be in one or the other case, not in all. Most important parts is, why dont they prove it that power supply is bad by replacing their own labortary tested power supply at the consumer end, may be for three or four days. to prove .

SAMSUNG - CHEAPEST EVER KOREAN MAKE

i agree with a similar problem with Samsunsung Spilt A/c bought in chennai. This company pays their dealers well and they cheat customers by even selling stock old than 10 months and unit failed twice within 6 months of warranty period.

Over the above the ASP fellows are totally unreliable and have no committment . Best part the is the regional office guys ( Samsung direct employees ) are the coolest ... but A/c remains like heater, guys are absolutely cold and deflecting

Pls dont buy samsung a/c looking at their ADs or based on dealers push. This korean make is the cheapest dump in India.

Living in Melbourne with my new Samsung airconditioner have caused my family nightmares. Leaking and cooling problems are a normal thing after nealry a year of use. The warranty expired rendering us 3rd party repair bills. It is probably the worst problematic air conditioner we ever had.
The other terrible air conditioner is a Panasonic Super Ionizer. Fan motor need replacing twice in a year. PCB had to be replaced. Fan unit slowed down and was replaced.
We have 4 air conditioners in our house. The most reliable are Toshiba Daiseikai and LG Artcool. Very good cooling and no repair bills at all so far!

I am 100% agree that the samsung Split AC is the worst AC in this universe. The Managers, Technicians and even customer care people are also worst. I appeal all the pople that even any one or company gives free of cost also not to accept. 100% gurantee that the Split AC never work.

Moreover it will be a burden to whoever owns.

I purchased in March 2007 since then till now 4 times replaced indoor unit, one time outdoor unit. Nothing is solved. I approached Shoban Kumar- In-charge of AP about this issue, he also not helped and disconnected the phone also.

Later Mr. Jaiprakash came to the picture who is the responsbile for sort out the matterand agreed to refund within 12 working days from 30th Jan,2008.

Letus see how his promise will be turn.

Even 7 years old LG AC works better and it was worst product decision of my life to have bought this sucker for my bedroom from a ### company called Samsung. I have vowed to never buy a product from this ### company.

The ###s from the company do not realize that the AC trips because of poor quality of Compressor, which just gives up during high heat and does not work for many hours.

I had the same experience with the 1.5T Samsung split AC. They have the worst customer care and the worst engineers. I had purchased it in may-2006 and it has never worked properly. They had somebody come in to fix this after about 2 weeks we reported to the customer care and the very same day its back to square one. Now we have asked for a recall of the product and the engineer says he has to check what the problem is and then report to his boss. He also says that the company has certain processes and it will take time to fix any problems. I really wonder if Samsung is going to last.

Hi,

The above complaint is completely true and I agree to that. We have purchased a 1.5 ton split AC and it did work in winter and autumn season. Once when the summer starts these piece of ### does not work and their service also sucks. The AC mechanic arrive he says no problem with AC and I firmly believe he has no idea of whats wrong? His finding are obvious that the AC is fine and power supply is not correct. Even if we change the power amps supply the AC does not work. we are very poor Indians getting cheated...

Samsung very poor after sale service!

I have samsung sghe730. I am using this phone for 2 years. In dec'06 because of my mistake the lcd screen was broken. I got it repaired from samsung company's service center in vile parle, near nanavati hospital. Also paid rs 4000 / - for it. The phone was working ok for 3 months and now it started giving problems regarding display. When I reported the matter to samsung, service center started giving erratic reply. They say that problem is due to some internal display connector which is broken. It is due to handling problems as per them.

I do not understand the connector which is internal; how can I mishandle that. I am sure that either manufacturing defect or wrong handling by repair person. They are now telling me to pay for the same thing which I got repaired in dec'06.

I am really annoyed due to their erratic and illogical answers. I want to take up the matter with top people of samsung. I am sure they will understand the gravity and will help me.

I had bought a Saumsung Star with WiFi Model No. GT-S5233W on February 7, 2010 from Hotspot. ( A Unit Of Spice Retail Limited ) WZ-152-A/3, main Najafgarh Road, Near metro Pillar No. 678, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi – 110059, vide bill no. ( Book No. 614/07 & Serial No. 331 ) dated February 7, 2010 for Rs. 8075/- all inclusive.

Serial No. Of The Mobile : RP1S977806L
IMEI No. : [protected]

From the day one this mobile was giving me problem, as it used to get re-booted while talking ( or even lying on the table ) and the frequency of re-booting increased to 4-5 time a day.

Finally I took my mobile to Bharat Communication, Phahar Gunj ( Samsung Authorised Service Centre )on March 27, 2010. Initially without checking anything, they told me that it has to be formatted and all data will be lost. I compromised on the data and gave them go ahead so that whatever problem is there can be rectified. Even after that the mobile re-booted and they told me to leave the mobile with them, which I did.

Work Order No. is 10C270017 Dated 27-03-2010

Since then I was following up with the Service Centre and for the last 4-5 days I am being told the the PCB has been changed and hence IMEI no. has been changed, which is to be updated, but Samsung site is having some problem because of which they are not able to fix my mobile.

Finally on April 5th 2010 evening they have given me the mobile no. of Mr. Sumit Seth, telling me that Mr. Seth is the Area Manager, and if I am having any service related issue I may please talk to Mr. Seth on [protected]. Since then I am trying Mr. Seth’s no. but he does not pick up the phone neither calls back, even after leaving SMS. Then I wrote an e-mail to Samsung through the e-mail link on Samsung’s website to which I was responded back on April 6th 2010 by a computer generated e-mail, wherein I was given a transaction no. [protected] assuring that someone from the concerned department will contact me, but nothing of that sort has happened. On April 5th 2010 only I call Samsung Helpline no. also ( 011-[protected] ) and talked to Mr. Jitender, who gave me the transaction no. [protected] and also promised to take this up with the concerned authority and ensure that some senior person calls me, but again nothing of that sort happened.

On April 6th 2010 I again called up Samsung Service Provider, Bharat Communication and the lady at the front desk told me that the Service Franchise owner Mr. Bharat himself has gone to main Service Centre of Samsung at Nehru Place to get the fault checked and he will be back in the evening and I will be updated on the status of my mobile, again no one updated me. I was actually surprised on this feedback that my mobile is being taken to main Service Centre of Samsung for fault diagnosis as they had already told me that they have replaced the PCB and IMEI no. updation is pending, which is not happening due to some problem in Samsung’s site.

Again on April 7th 2010 after waiting for the inputs, I called up Bharat Communication in the second half to know the status of my mobile and after being put on hold for long I was told to call up by 6.00 P.M., when I confronted the lady at the front desk, she made me talk to Mr. Ravi, who told me that I can come by 6.00 P.M. and collect my mobile. I reached the Service Centre, Bharat Communication sharp at 6.00 P.M. to collect my mobile. Mr. Ravi attended me and handed over my mobile to me, telling me that PCB has been replaced and INEI no. updation has also been done after the mobile was taken to the main Service Centre of Samsung in Nehru Place. I said fine, let me use this mobile for few days and check whether the re-booting problem has actually been rectified or not and ask for a call report. On this I was told that they will not give me any call report ( wherein details of the action taken and the current status of the mobile was supposed to be mentioned ). Instead I was told to give the receiving of the mobile on the Job card and take the mobile back. When I insisted on getting the call report, the owner of Bharat Communication Mr. Bharat told me that they will not give me any call report and if I have any issue in that I can talk to the people at Samsung. He also offered to write the new IMEI no. ( which actually changed as they replaced main PCB of the mobile phone ) on my bill itself, to which I didn’t agree and insisted on getting the call report, properly mentioning action taken on my mobile to make it up and running and if the IMEI no. has changed, that also is to be documented in the customer call report, to which he didn’t agree.

Then I started trying mobile no. of Mr. Sumit Seth ( [protected] ) and left SMS also, but as usual he didn’t pickup my call, neither did he called back. I called up Samsung Helpline ( 011-[protected] ) and talked to Sakshi, Manoj & Sneha. Very unfortunately I have to put this on records that these people seem to be trained to disconnect the phone while customer is sharing his/her problem and just put the phone down saying we are not able to hear your voice.

Further adding to my agony, owner of the Service Centre, Mr. Bharat told me that he has just updated my IMEI no., while I was trying to talk to various people in Samsung and told me that my IMEI no. has not been changed and showed me my original IMEI no. on the mobile screen by executing some command. This was so shocking for me that after telling me the story of IMEI no. being changed and problem being faced in updating the new IMEI no. I am being told that IMEI no. of my mobiles now remains same as earlier.

I again requested Mr. Bharat to give me the customer call report and he simply refused. I therefore have not collected my mobile and have left it with the Service centre, as being a customer I have all the rights to know what Samsung / Samsung Service Providers have done with my mobile, what action have they taken, what part have they replaced. By not giving me a customer call report Samsung and Samsung Service providers are depriving a customer of his rights.

One more problem I face with this mobile, which I discussed with Mr. Bharat, is that I am not able to send or receive business card on this mobile and Mr. Bharat confirmed that there is a problem to which there is no solution as of now.

If we summarize all the facts, Samsung is fleecing it customers by selling inferior quality products, which fail in one month, which have problem in the technology being used and also on account of deficiency of Services to its customers.

Such services are not at all acceptable and are not expected from a company of repute like Samsung.

I have made up my mind that I no longer intend to use Samsung products anymore and want Samsung to refund Rs, 8075/- of my hard earned money I spent on buying Samsung Mobile.

I therefore request you to instruct Samsung management to return my money and penalise Samsung & Samsung Service Provide Bharat Communication for being completely insensitive towards customers, non cooperative and deficiency of services to its customer

Thanks & Regards

I was surprised to see the same fridge is readily available outside. They were not even concerned to contact us and inform the delay in delivery.

This is to bring to your notice, a very bad experience in terms of the product as well as the customer service at Samsung.

The company has purchased 5 (1.5 ton) A/c from reputed dealer "SONY MONY" in Month of January 2007in Andheri (W) (W). Since the month of April we have been experiencing a lot of problems with the A/C and the after sales service

1) Inspite of being in warranty period, the A/C was practically not functional with no cooling at all

2) Repeated attempts to contact the Samsung - Customer Service (which is of no use) to Mr . Mathew- the head of SONY MONY (andheri) (W) that have been unsuccessful with they not responding to the complaints, disconnecting the calls on repeated attempts to contact them and sending their service personnel across.

3) The persons send by service centre were not able to give any concrete reasons as to why the A/c's are not functioning , thus seems that an inefficient staff is employed , ultimately our company has to waste its time and energy at office hours. Seems it was our wrong decision to purchase SAMSUNG a/c.

4) Even after putting the A/c for repairing to SAMSUNG service centre, its of no use.

Never buy Samsung products!

Well I believe the phone is under 1 year warranty to cover any defectiveness. Contact your local Samsung or you phone carrier to resolve the issue. I have Samsung T809 which turns on and off whenever it feels like... I called my service carrier and they replaced me with new phone. If the phone was not damaged by accident on your behalf... They will replace the phone.

Samsung Phone automatically hangs and restarts

I had purchased Samsung x670 within 3 months of purchase is started getting problem that while talking that phone automatically hangs and restarts again. I had been to the service centre as it is in warranty. The kept the phone for many days and tried but they said that they are not getting that problem. And after going to them again and again the changed the motherboard but still the problem is the same. They said now they are helpless and they cannot do anything. I am fed up. As the phone costs 9000 bucks and it is not a small amount.

Samsung Non replacement of a defective washing machine

I bought a silver nano 6kg washing on 31oct2006 which was delivered on 01nov2006. The machine kept making a lot of noise and would not take a full load. I called up the service centre and explained the problem and fixed an appointment fours days in advance. Instead of a technician a demonstrator arrived and that too 5 hours after the appointed time. The machine gear box is defective according to two different samsung technicians including mr bakshi. The technicians tried on two different occasions to open the machine but because the screws brackets were also defective they could not do so. After a lot of argument one mr basitkar agreed to replace the machine. I also received a call from one mr tariq 3weeks ago saying the machine would replaced. Today at 1115 when I called up mr basitkar he couldn't even recall who I was despite reminding him that I earlier had even offered to buy another machine and wait for a refund on the defective one. He promised to get back to me but as usual there is no reply. When I asked his office for the delhi head office number she declined. I also spoke last evening to mr bakshi and his reply was totally unprofessional... That since I had been patient for so long I should still wait for another three weeks or so.

As an earlier complainant has put on record... Never ever buy a samsung product !

My refrigerator is fault and I have been contacting [protected] and customer care No [protected] and daily reminding them. Every day they are calling me and telling that somebody will come and attend my complaint. Since 15/12/2006 I have been pursuing my case. I suggest everyone do not use or buy Samsung products!
