Samsonite flight 5j-589 23.40 from manila to cebu 26/03/18

On arrival at Cebu airport at 01.10 in the morning I was extremely tired and just wanted to get my case and travel to my accommodation. On arrival I took my to my room only to find that when finally laying it on the bed to unpack the case was cracked quite extensively and smashed on one corner as if it was thrown onto a hard surface. I would make the assumption that is how the baggage handlers discharged my case from the airplanes hold as this is an extremely strong case. I am now looking for the airline to replace like for like having destroyed it.

Samsonite flux soft-spinner 56/20 bag

i have bought Flux Soft-Spinner 56/20 bag on my transit in Turkish airport on 20Jan2018... However i like the bag design but i was very worry about its size but the seller double confirmed for me many times and said it is a grantee that this bag is suitable for the plane cabinet and no one will resist regarding its side ... but after i had the time to go to the next flight on Turkish online, they refused to enter the plane with this bag and took it to the plane down store and when i collected it at my arrival, i got sad where it had some scratches on it...

Now I will have another flight on Turkish air on the coming Wed, and very worry to take it again with me to dont face the same situation...

Please advise what should i do now and still wonder how come one of the Samsonite shop team fake me by his confirmation that it will be suitable for all airlines (including the Turkish) except the small cheap companies which is totally not true after referring to the Turkish webesite!

Samsonite the poor quality control of samsonite hk branch

Hi all,

I was Samsonite fans for a long time. That's why I decided to exchange your luggage by my Asia Miles. But I got this carry-on luggage 2017/12/21 (Inova Spin 55/20+Front pocket), which was sent from HongKong to Taiwan. There is a very obvious flaw on the back of the luggage, it is a long scratch. Please check the attached pics.

I contacted Asia Miles and they transferred me to Samsonite HK. I got an email from Samsonite HK on 2017/12/29 as below, they declined to exchange a new lucggauge and get the damanged one back. I replied Samsonite HK immediately on 2017/12/29 and declared that their offer was not acceptable. Until today, there is still no reply from Samsonite HK.

I am very angry about this. My main point is this flaw on the back was not caused by me, the flaw has been there when I opened the box, I did nothing to the box. This is the issue of quality control of Samsonite HK branch. Why should I bear the loss from their low-quality control ? Why should I pay the delivery cost instead of HK branch ?

All I need is to give me back a brand new luggage which I deserve since I spent over 48000 Asia Miles to exchange this. It is all your HK Branch's fault to deliver this defective product to me without further checking before shipping.

I email this complaint to bridget.[protected]@samsonite.com at the same time, which is about the pictures of the luggage and the conversation between Samsonite HK and me at 4: 31 PM TW Time on 2018/1/11.

Please kindly help me to resolve the problem and hope to get your reply soon. Thank you very much.

Samsonite samsonite hard case rolling luggage

This piece of luggage has not been used more than 3 times and has numerous defects. It was purchased last year in the summer. I am very disappointed with this bag as samsonite has a great name and states the bags are durable. I have added three photos of damage. The outside has a crack down the middle and the hard plastic above the wheels is all cracked. I would like a replacement.

Samsonite luggage

Purchased American Tourister 4-piece luggage sets [2 sets] from Kohl's. First used during cruise May 2017. When got to cabin, took clothes out of luggage. They stunk! Had to clean before could wear. Complained to American Tourister and, rather than addressing the issue, they told me to put activated charcoal, etc., in luggage. We had to spend money to clean our clothes that were unwearable because of their luggage. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY LUGGAGE FROM AMERICAN TOURISTER OR SAMSONITE. It is a waste of money and time to complain as they are not concerned. Crap products. Crap companies.

Samsonite samsonite set of luggage

Purchase a set of samsoniye at a retailer tjmaxx, as a gift for grown professional childfen
They used them 3 times in a 3 month period snd the larger suitcase lost a wheel, inside strap came unsewn, and a zipper on the outsde pocket became lost.

The luggage cost $300 and the epectation was that it would last longer than 3 months. Also due to the design it was not luggage handler friendly and lokks soiled and has not held up to the standards that used to be associated with samsoniye quality and value.

Samsonite no warranty - despite certificate

On 23rd april 2011 I bought in the samsonite factory outlet in austria - parndorf - a samsonite spark luggage black jet-age iii upright 55 cm - expandable. price: € 122. paid by credit card - and got a 3 years warranty certificate! I used this trolley appx 8 times - only as hand luggage in planes. unfortunately one of the wheels blocked and was broken. I made my warranty claim within these three yeares - the claim number was : reparatur-nummer [protected]/lv - and I got as a response: sorry, we cannot repair it anymore - no spare parts. I reclaimed again to the german headoffice (monika. [protected]@samsonite.com) and the answer was: I bought a product which was end of collection - only 2 years warranty - no chance for repair or satisfaction. this is wrong! nobody informed me, I was handed out a 3 years warranty card! I feel cheated! (till now I had 5 suitcases/bags of samsonite - till now!)

The zippers on both the hard sided suitcase and the rolling garment bag are flimsy and not suitable for luggage. I have seen heavier duty zippers on ski jackets.

Samsonite damage

Main compartment: Occasionally the two zipper halves refuse to interlock or stay connected. Front compartment: The fabric surrounding the seams and the zippers is largely damaged.

"handle anything that you can throw at it" and similar such claims are made by Samsonite and we pay a premium price for their products yet when damage occurs and we act to rely on the warranty you will soon realise that such claims, like their are worthless. Samsonite defective zippers

I purchased a 19"x28" blue "samsonite 1910" suitcase at ross.
On my first flight the upper outer zipper for the smaller compartment broke.
On my second flight the lower outer zipper for the larger compartment broke.

The outer zippers on all my other old suitcases have never broken.

I purchases the samsonite suitcase because of its good reputation as a quality suitcase.
This suitcase is defective.

Samsonite damage handel suitcase

I took up and down paris - chennai class m. last 14th august 2010 I took ek 543 from chennai to dubai and ek 073 to paris. when I collect my baggages at cdg paris I saw the handle of my suit case (samsonite color light grey) broken and missing. I complaint at your staff who told me to send a mail to emirates and he also send you a mail for this same reason. please do the necessary to repair my suitcase.

Samsonite non communication

I ordered two Samsonite suitcases on 1st February, due to an impending holiday .I received a receipt from the company, but heard nothing since. It is now 16th .February, and I have tried in vain to contact the company, by telephone, which appears to be invalid, and by e-mails, which are returned to me-un deliverable. I want to cancel the order, but there is no way I can get in touch with this company.

When I phone this number, it belongs to a private house, who says they have no connections with this company.

As we go away in 2 weeks, I will now have to buy elsewhere.

Can you help me -how can I cancel this order ?

Against me to you very favourable offer from which will win, and you having increased your capitals and I.
I offer you the idea of a suitcase thought up by me which will be not only hand luggage, but also means of transportation of small children.
Which will certainly facilitate travel of parents with children in particular mums with children.
The essence of idea consists in transportation of the child on a suitcase, I transported the daughter on travel it was delighted, but it was not convenient.
If you did not like my idea I will offer its other company on manufacture of suitcases.
Here I suggest to look at a folding stool from a pocket with seat belts.
Which I have drawn + a photo of my daughter on a suitcase.
Look more low
In case of use of my working out, idea without my consent I will be compelled to address in court.

I have a set of Samsonite luggage - one of which two wheels have failed. Despite several calls to their business, they fail to answer their phone and fail to return a call to my phone which was left on their recorder.

This forces me to purchase new luggage which is costly.

I bought a samsonite trolley bag and pull handle is broken only in a year.
I bought it from tkmax, Germany but they say, that they have only 6 months warranty.
Is this the quality of samsonite.
Only one year!
Please repair or exchange.

This Samsonite step stool that claims to handle 330 pounds nearly killed me as it collapsed under me. I weigh 180lbs... This is dangerous. I can't believe it just crumble into pieces. The pictures show clearly the damage and the claim of 330lbs. would like some resolution before contacting an attorney.

I bought the most expensive Samsonite cosmolite
which they advertise that it is the lightest hard cases on earth .
I am so much dissappointed in it, it not worth the money I paid .
I used it not over than 8 times . But the muscular zip was broken 2 times .
I sent it to repair for free . But my point is not that .

This lugguage made me worried every time when I travelling that I will lose my valuable things by this peanut Zip lock .

Now I want to do something with it, such as I want to claim my money back or change to be other style . How to do ?
I felt stupid to pay that much money for low quality products .

The handle was stuck after two uses. Sent an enquiry email (and a follow up) to Samsonite repair centre Singapore and did not receive any response after 1.5 months. This is really unbelievable for such poor customer service. I will not be getting anymore Samsonite products.
