Sam's Club tires service

To whom it may concern:

I purchased Brand New Tires from Sams club in Rome, GA in January, 2008. I purchased them at Sams because of the availability of Lifetime Rotation and Balance which can be done at any Sams Club nationwide. They were purchased at Sams club in my hometown of Rome, Georgia. Throughout the year and half, I had no problem getting them rotated and balanced at my home location. Last Thursday (May 14th, 2009) I was in Huntsville, Alabama. I took my car in for a rotation and balance. I was told it would be about and Hour's wait. Not a problem. I killed some time and came back about an hour and fifteen minutes later. My car had not even made it to the service bay yet. I was told that I would be out of there soon. Another hour went by and my car was still sitting outside. Finally, after 3 hours, my car went in. I was out in 3.5 hours. There was no manager on duty in the auto deptartment and no exlaination why it took 3.5 hours for my car to be serviced. It was a simple wheel rotate and balance. The fact that I was lied to at Sams in Huntsville, Al is the issue here. I am demanding a written apology from Sams/Wal-mart as it would be the logical thing to do. Also, I suggest that sams begins to tell the truth to its customers .

Thank You

So many tire failures, yet these kids know nothing. Did they know about the "E" class of pickup tires? Or the "D" class""" on the big 3/4 tons pickups. Or on the SRW option Fords/Dodges? Hell no...
You hire a minimum wage TVA brownshirt, and that's what you get. Buy lots of insurance, because you'll need it...
Sams Club/Wal Mart. Operating on skeleton crews now. Nobody knows ###. Nobody wants to know ###. Get it done, get out by 0600 and make the over-night look good. False economy. Period...ever...
You're going down in flames. Lawsuits and all that. Hostile environment workplaces. It's not "time management" It's strictly "Management". They have n clue, don't want one.
But it's gonna come home to roost. A couple nights ago on an overnight shift, we had 2 people clock in before midnight. Wow...and everything is still expected to be finished before o600. You're smoking dope...drinking the bong water...
Can't be done. Management needs to be fired...period.
Well, off I go. Need to get some sleep before I'm told I need to do 3 jobs in 6 hours, again...
later gators...leeroy

Hey there're all working on "skeleton crews". Which makes their hours look good. It's a game of "Elevator". And you get the shaft. Go to Tires Discount or other places. They take you in and service the heck out of you. You get what you pay for. At Sams and all, you get nice people, but such a skeleton crew they have no idea of what you want or need.
And NONE of these peple have ever really serviced a real tire crowd. Run for the hills...
You deserve better, will pay more, but will smile more also...
What you don't see is what you get...

Sam's Club emplyees are allowed to spit in your pizza & then they cancel the club memeber's memember ship, emplyee still has job

An employee in the food court dated my son, plus many others in the club too, after a while he had broken up with her. She made a comment that if she could get away with spitting in my pizza in 2008 that she would. I ordered pizza through management on the phone for 2 hours later so I would not be taking that risk of such nature. Management assured me Tyra was her name that Sierra would not be making my pizza. I arrived in the club 10 minutes early for my pizza thinking that it already may be done early. Next thing you know Sierra walked out of the cooler with my pizza (no cameras in there). I was hesitant on the order, as I walked to the car with the pizza it bothered me as I sat in my car, so I decided with having those thoughts of my niece (19 at the time) over hearing her say that about my pizza. I walked in to customer service and returned the pizza, they wanted an explanation so I gave it to them of exactly what had taken place. Greg the manager that was jumping up and down with the pizza saying, "ha ha look, Sierra did not spit in it, I am going to take this to the break room and eat it and so are the other employees". I had a real puzzled look on my face, like why was he acting queer, and he was not there to see if in fact that he spit in it or not. My son that worked there at the time said that is how Greg is.

The lady at the door that greets you and/or puts a line on your receipt, knows the honest to God truth of all what happened of all of this and what took place on that day in the past 2008 and on 4/24/09 and they tell her to not say anything at all about it, as she knows in her heart what they have done to me, (she seems to feel bad about this to me when I talk to her) is wrong and God will punish and or judge those who need to be on this incident. She can not say anything or she will lose her job.

June 2008, I moved to AZ until March 2nd 2009...

After being in there store, 6 or 7 times since March 2nd 2009, and Sierra in the food court always getting on the phone when my son or I would glance to see if she is looking at us, which I would tell my younger son, "do not look at her". ... Any way, they ended up calling the Hickory Police Dept. on me and not knowing that I attend church with the chief of Police Hank Guess. The police made me leave and Sam's Club revoked my membership but I did not find out until 4/23/09.

When I got home from their Club on 4/23/09 #6355 after being harassed by the lady at the returns counter and the manager as I walked out of the store in tears, explaining to a couple that asked exiting the store what that was all about... I called the Sam's Club Corporate Office...This is what they in fact told me, " They said that on March 25th 2009 it was entered into their computers by Sam's Club 6355 store number which is located in Hickory, NC 28601 that I am not to be in any Sam's Club or Wal-Mart ever again in my life because that on December 23rd 2008, I was in fact in their store club #6355, and got caught shop lifting in there. Wow, am I ever puzzled over all of this...

If you remember above in this complaint, I lived in Arizona in December 2008.

If you had a business membership with Sam's, they will be losing all kinds of money from you, so it will be their loss not yours...GO TO COSTCO, THEY ARE WAY BETTER! I lOVE COSTCO, I would never put money into Sm'a Club or Wal-Mart Corporation ever, they don't give a sh about you any way.

Sam's Club Employees can get stoned and drunk (on their liquor that is stolen by the employees) on the job, and they are dumb enough not even to know this.

If I were you, I would "F" Sierra up, don't do it though as you will go to jail, find another way to get to her or have somebody else do it for you.

And what kind of management would do something of that nature to somebody if they were in fact a real manager? Sounds like Greg is gay to me. I would get a lawyer if I were you and sue the hell out of them!

Sam's Club damage of car during service

I went to Sams Club as a member, and ordered a set of 4 Michelin tires that don't stock for my 2003 Toyota Camry on April 10, 2009, and paid for upfront. On April 14, 2009, I received a call at 4:10pm that the tire set was in, was told they were not busy, and I could go in and have the set installed in about 45 minutes. I went in, paid the installation fees, and the car was driven into the bay area, while I stood behind the glass window outside the service area to watch the process. One tech on the east side of the car took two wheels to install, and another on the west side took the other two. The one on the east side -closer to my window post- looked nervous and in a hurry -even though I was told they close at 7:00pm- and when he installed the tire in the rim, and took it to the balance spinner, he stroke the alloy wheel rim 6-8 times with an all metal hammer where he put a balance weight. He, then, left the wheel spinning, while he fitted the second tire on its rim. Upon fitting, the second tire, he returned to the spinning balance bay, and again stroke the alloy wheel rim another 5-6 times -without any further spinning! I knew right away that a balance weight doesn't need about 15 hammer strikes to set in, and upon installation I took the car to the corner of the parking lot for inspection. I expected the weight to look really smashed, but it look pristine - no scratch. However, next to the balance weight, the alloy wheel was hammered flat!, and a piece had broken off! I returned to the store within 7 minutes, but the technician who had broken my alloy wheel had vanished! I told Sandy, the cashier who handled the transaction about the damage, and she came outside to inspect the car with the technician who had installed the West side tires. They said that "the broken piece came off when their technician pulled off the old weight!" But their nervousness, and the disappearance of the culprit technician right away -2 hours before closing time- showed that they knew about the damage done to my car, and they had the excuses ready. "We have nothing to do with that, " Sandy said. She then, brought a camera, and took a picture of the battered wheel for the back of the flat hammered spot that made the damage almost invisible to the camera - except the broken chip section. Then they told me that "we have cameras everywhere, " we will find out what happened. A few days later, I received a message from David Horton, of Claims Management, Inc. (CMI) who told me he represented an insurer fro Sams Club, and lauded the good services to its customers. But from a letter I received from CMI, it doesn't look to me like an independent insurance carrier; it looks like a Walmart branch that disposes legitimate customers complaints, and those supposed investigators probably get bonuses when they whitewash Walmarts liability and pay nothing. That is what I extrapolate from my own experience. To add insult to injury, David called me two days later, and told me that he watched the tire installation video, and look at the damage picture, and there was nothing improper and no damage! Sure, when the customer cannot see their video, and when Sams staff take pictures of the damage from the back to conceal it, that is COVER UP! I told David to come and inspect the damage in my car, and he wanted pictures. It is hard to get a full picture on the inside side of the rim, which is partially obscured by the sidewall curve. Honest insurance investigators evaluate damages in person - not from 700 miles away - in Arkansas. And that is the epitome of ARROGANCE of a behemoth company that can do damage to anybody, and nobody can touch them - even legally. That dawned on me because I watched some time back an NBC documentary in which a woman judge is Texas said she had issued several Court Orders to Walmart, but Walmart had ignored ALL OF THEM! The Epilogue of this sordid Sams Club damage and denial to my automobile, and the inability even of the courts to make that behemoth beast comply or take responsibility for its actions, shall serve as a warning to all those who try to save a few bucks: You may save a few bucks, but you may also get much more damage to your car, and you will have no recourse - even with a lawyer. State courts, and state attorney generals are no match for Walmart. Only the U.S. Justice Department can tackle Walmart, but they have no jurisdiction on local consumer complaints. The moral of the story on this [redacted]. The bigness of Walmart and Sams Club affords them the Power of Arrogance, the Power to defy State Courts, and the Power to Damage Your Car, and then ignore any legitimate complaint with impunity! Their bottom line is profit, and covering their damages will reduce it. Deal with them at your own risk! But please read 30 more reports of ripp of at "[redacted]s." Nikos, River Grove, Illinois

Im going to go out on a limb here and guess that you know nothing about nor have you ever mounted tires. Next time go to a dealership and request the use of adhesive wheel weights.

Sam's Club damage to property

I've been a member of Sam's Club for some time so I decided to get 4 new tires there. Deal was alright. Service personnel seemed fine enough.
However, when I picked up the car, there was a nasty dent at the back and on the bumper. Said they'd have to send away the video to Claims Management.
I was fairly confident they would do the decent thing and accept responsibility but no.
They only had a partial video record for the time car was in their possession but they said the burden of proof was on me to prove the damage occurred whilst in their possession. I was practically accused of lying. Also learned Sams Club do not have Garage Owners Liability. So, if your car is damaged there, no chance they'll accept responsibility. All in all, a very unpleasant experience.

I can't believe the way someone is treated when they have a legitimate claim. I too had four new tires put on and the same exact thing happened. I am disabled and had to drive forty five minutes each way to take my car back for them to look at the damage. I was treated like dirt and it was very clear to me that they didn't believe me. I was so embarrased and just the drive up there had caused me considerable pain with my back injury. They were not sympathetic at all and couldn't wait to get rid of me. They asked for my social security number which I thought was a little strange. I am not sure what they used that for but I am sure they probably try to see what they can dig up on people before they make a decision as to whether they caused the damage. I was told when the claims guy first called me that he would take a look at the video and make a decision after he viewed it and if he saw anything different than what had been reported to him by the people that had viewed it he would be the first to call me. By the time we started to end our conversation he told me to consider the claim denied and he was closing the file. He practically called me a liar. There was actually tire tread or some kind of rubber on the door where it had been hit. I am disabled so my car rarely leaves my property and is never parked next to anyone else while I am home. I explained to them that I came straight home and there was no way the damage had occured while the car was in my possesion. I had just washed the car before taking it in so I know for a fact the damage was not there whenI took my car in. I am so dissappointed in Sam's Club and it really hurt to be treated so unfairly by a company that I had trusted with my car. I could have bought my tires anywhere but I chose Sam's because I thought I would get good service. Now I am stuck with a dent in the side of my car that I will have to find a way to get fixed. Someone there knows what happened and of course they are not going to admit it when they know it could cost them their job or get them in trouble. Whatever happened to doing the right thing and the customer is always right? I will never make a major purchase at Sam's Club again and my family won't either.

Dear [censor],

If the burden of proof truly is on you, then they aren't accusing you of lying. They are accusing you of not knowing the whole truth. Sounds to me like you can't guarantee that it happened at Sam's Club. The video recording magically turned on and off as your vehicle was being serviced? Riiiiiight. I'm sure Princess Diana was one of the tire technicians as well. Face it, you are another doozy who wants something for nothing. Fix your car and quit whining.

Sincerely,

Anyone who has ever worked in customer service.

Either the dent was there before you brought the car in for service, or the dent was a result of the car hitting something when they brought the car in or out. In a perfect world, the guilty party would "fess up" and acknowledge their fault and inform the car owner about what happened. If the damage on the car occurred elsewhere and not at the shop, the staff/employees would be at a loss trying to explain to you how you got your dent (something even you yourself were not aware of). The shop cannot admit to something they had nothing to do with. In your mind, you are absolutely certain that the damage was not there before (or maybe you hadn't noticed it?). BUT...if one of the shop employees had indeed caused damage to your car and denied it, he/she would be the lowest of the low; obviously in fear of being terminated or at the very least, written up. The shop had no liability insurance? What if a car fell on someone? Hmmm...

Sam's Club hp laptop

I am very disappointed with the 2 year extended warranty that I purchased from Sam's Club. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing with this company and as I read I see that I am not the first customer to experience this and something needs to be done. I have returned my HP laptop a total of 3 times...the warranty company tells me that I have only returned it twice. Each time this repair company Cybertest and Micromedics have returned my laptop to me unrepaired. In fact the initial problem was that the monitor went out. Now not only does the monitor not work the laptop will not even boot up. I have talked to several managers at the warranty company Tracey(a gentleman who told me that he refused to let me speak with someone higher) and Devin who also gives me the run around saying that the computer needs to be sent back yet another time...and that the only way the pc would be replaced at this point is if Cybertest states that they are unable to repair the laptop. Not only does the laptop still not work but it also has cosmetic damamge and they returned it without the remote. I am so frustrated with this and feels that this is anunfair way to treat a customer after you get their money.

I agree, I had also a bad experience with this people. I sent my laptop in the box the mailed to me. they claimed that my laptop arrived damage, but I was not noyify untill they sent me the laptop back. when I call them to complaina bout the damage to my laptop they told me that the box was not damage and that there was nothing they could do. Anyone who has seen the box that they want people to use knows that it does not have the right protection. after traying to speack with these poeple. I decided to give up.
In conclusion I will never buy an extended warranty at Sams club it is a joke.

Sam's Club refused service

I had an eye exam on 11/26/08. I had had pnuemonia for 5 weeks and did not get back for my follow-up. About 2 weeks ago, I went into get some contacts and the sales rep said I would have to pay for a complete exam again because I didn't come bavk for the follow-up. She stated they had a new eye DR. and the one I had had left. I feel I paid for that eye exam and that is my contact prescription. She was not very professional. I did get upset and she did not help things at all with her know-it-all attitude. Thank You for any help you can give me.

From my understanding, Sam's Club has independent contract Doctors. When you pay for an eye exam, you're paying the Doctor who really has no affiliation with Sam's Club. Sam's Club just gets money out of contacts and glasses. When Doctors leave a place like that, they generally bring along all their patient files with them. The new Doctor starts fresh. I can understand why you would have to pay for another exam because it's another Doctor, but Sam's Club is usually known for customer service and I would have went to a store manager. It's kind of late now.

If it isn't already too late already, find out where the Doctor went to and try to have a follow up in his new location. You paid him. You also should have let Sam's Club know that you were sick otherwise it just sounds like you're making excuses.

Sam's Club associate/manager

I just find that it is my responsability to worn any one that I can about the manager at the Mobile, AL Sams Club. This woman knows nothing about optical. She's the manager of this store and has been for a little over a year. She does not have a clue about what she is doing. Everytime I go in there people are complaining about her. She is RUDE and she has NO customer service skills what so ever. I went in to have a frame that was under warranty replaced. The paint was chipping and it was only a couple of months old. She 1st refused to do any thing about it and again, was very rude about it. I of course reminded her they were under warranty and she continued to argue with me. Finally she said, "I'm not supposed to do this but, I will." as if she were doing something wrong and made me feel like I was being dishonest although THEY WERE UNDER WARRANTY! I will not be going back for any reason and will make it a point to tell everyone I see about her(Sandra).

Dear [censor],

I'm sure people flock to the parking lot in droves to complain about this manager every day with EVERYONE complaining about her. Her customer service skills are so terrible that she was hired and has maintained a job for a whole year! Take a closer look as to what the warranty actually covers. Because you beat the hell out of your glasses doesn't mean Sam's Club has to play mommy and daddy for you and fix it. Be a little more responsible next time and take better care of your things. Thank you in advance for not shopping at Sam's Club anymore. That's one less [censor] in line in front of me.

Sincerely,

Reality.

Sam's Club unauthorized charges

I went to Sam's Club and my bill was higher than I expected. I asked why and the cashier said the extra charge was for your card upgrade. I did not request a card upgrade. They TRIED to charge me for a membership card upgrade without asking or telling me. I had the cashier remove the extra charge.

I have been a member at Sam 's Club for over 10 years but I will not renew my card because of this kind of unethical behavior.

They talked me into an upgrade for "only $8.00" and made it sound as if there would be no additional charges. Now I find out that the membership fee that they are trying to automatically charge to my Sam's Club Discover (another complaint - I never authorized this!) will be 100.00/year instead of 40.00/year! Needless to say, no emails are being returned.

Sam's Club credit card scams

2004 I took out a sams membership and it's credit card. I used it for a major purchase and then paid it off. Never used it again. A year later, after relocating to another state, the sams membership auto renewed, and charged that renewal to my card ( unknown to me) ...Some months later, I discovered that hey had reported me to the credit bureaus as delinquent and a charge off -- I did get the charges removed, and discontinued membership, but 4 and 5 years later, it is still haunting my credit record. they are unscrupulous crooks and liars. I will never do business with GE Money Bank, or Sams clubs again as a result of this.

Yeah they will fix it if they have the incorrect address...no need to freak out about it though since you moved and never notified your credit card company. Or file a dispute with the FCRA.

at least (2) gas pumps at Sams club in Tampa Fla the auto shut off did not work, gas on ground & shoes. no apparent safety measures around pump to contain spill. No attendant in office at gas island, he was working in nearby car wash. I finally found him and notified him of the problem but he didn't appear as though he was going to do anything in the near future. Tried to get on Sams Club web site to complete the survey the have on cash register recepit but that didn't work. When my membership expires I think I will use the money to replace my "gasoline soaked shoes".

The same happened to me in Michigan and I called the police. They did not send the fire department even though there was about 3 gallon of gas puddled aroubd my car. The police wouldnt even file a report so I could take my complaint further. Where do I go from here? The fumes made me sick!

Definitely a safety hazard when the pump continues to pump after the tank is full. No excuses here folks. Either the pump attendant is aware of the problem and chooses to ignore it (ignorant of the fact that he is about to be barbecued one of these days) or he may already have informed his supervisor and has not gotten any response. I would call the Fire Dept. instead and have THEM knock on their management door. Until then, No Smoking Please !

Sam's Club No customer service

My wife and I have been loyal customers of Sam's Club spending $22, 987.23 in their stores since 1997. We began charging purchases to the Sam's Credit Card when that became available in the Spring of 2003, and since then have always paid our monthly balance in full and on time. In November 2008 my wife and I took a 2 week vacation to Hawaii, and while we were gone received a $144. bill for charges at Sam's Club. We returned on December 7 and I paid the bill in full on December 7.

Shortly thereafter I received a statement for a $25 late fee on the $144. purchase which equals 17.4% interest. When I called the credit company that works behind the scenes for Sam's Club they refused to talk to me since my wife's name was on the card, although everything we have is jointly owned. I then went to the local store to get their help and they said my problem was with GMAC, not Sam's, and they couldn't help me. All I know is when I pay for the goods at Sam's store, the blue card says Sam's Club so as far as I'm concerned, Sam's owns the responsibility to resolve any credit issues.
I promptly explained to the Sam's associate that I would spend another $23, 000 over the coming years, but not at Sam's, at COSTCO (where I can earn a rebate by the way). As such I have canceled all of my memberships with Sam's Club and have joined COSTCO. This is no loss to me, and maybe my little bit of business is a minimal loss to Sam's. But rest assured, I plan to tell everyone I know of my Sam's experience. Simply put, Sam's cannot partner with another company to provide services to its customers and not provide proper oversight. It is Sam's Club brand that is being tarnished here, not GMAC which only appears in the fine print of the statement.

I have always been a loyal customer of Sams Business Credit Card system and paying my fuel card off each month. This past weekend I went to Sams Club in Wichita Falls, TX to discover someone in another state started using my credit card with their name and phone number. I reported all this to the police. Someone charged my credit card over $1200.00 dollars even after receiving another card from membership. My account number was compromised with someone with phone number [protected]. My charges were $1241.28 on one bill in front of membership. Since they are slow to interecede with a very small crime prevention management team except their video cameras, I am letting the public know how slow and corrupt they can get. They told me I would have to wait ten days...I have also written the BBB because I am tired of being a victim to scam artists, arsonists, and thieves. The city police are slow to help and often helping themself..The FBI does not handle anything under $50, 000...

Dear [censor],

You only spent an average of $1, 915.60 a year through out the course of your membership to the date of this posting. Sam's Club is partnered with GEMB (GE Money Bank), not GMAC. GMAC is automobile financing. I spend more money in the course of a month at Sam's Club than you do in the course of 12 years. Please ensure that you do cancel your membership if you haven't already, as there will be one less [censor] in line in front of me. No one cares about your interpretation of who is at fault. Legally, your issue is with GEMB, and not Sam's Club. These people are doing their jobs, and crying like a baby won't help you resolve the issue. Have your wife call, (as legally she has to be the one to do it), and take care of the problem. I'm sure that if you were to rationally explain the issue as opposed to spouting off like you definitely did, there would have been no need for an escalation.

Sincerely,

Anyone who has ever worked in customer service.

You did what will have the most impact! Businesses die one customer at a time. Did you know Sam's Club just went bankrupt and closed all doors in Canada? Last day was Sunday March 15th, 2009. We only used it for the Photo Center (my wife prints a ton of digital pictures!) We were always shocked at the emptiness of the place, but every time we go to Costco, lineups a mile long!

Whatever they were going, they did not impress too many customers. One thing these companies do that pisses a customer off is "outsourcing!" The outsourcing companies have no direct stake in the customers satisfaction! Especially a Credit Service company. They have undercut the competition so much to win the bid, they need to overcharge and under-serve to make a profit! Go figure...

So, keep telling everyone about your experience and dissatisfaction. You'll bring them down eventually.

Sam's Club - selling online auction items as new when they are refurbished with no warranty

I purchased a 50" New Philips plasma TV from Samsclub.com on their auction. I received it & upon turning it on, immediately noticed it was defective. (There was a 2" wide border along the entire left border of the screen which was vertical, multicolored lines) I called Philips & gave them the Model # of the TV. They said that since the model number ended in...

Sam's Club scam and cheating

I called Sam's Club about my table top cracking. It was the heavy slate -mable table. They told me to get in touch with JRA Furniture which I did. They told me they would replace my table. then they went out of business. No wonder when they lye to their customers like this. To pay over $700.00 for a piece of furniture that was kept under a porch and not even in the sun or rain is crazy. Didn't even last a year. Sam's said there wasn't anything they could do.

Sam's Club donation and throwing food away

Sam's Club has just lost my business. We own a restaurant and Sam's Club supplied food to us. Last year we asked Sam's Club to Donate to us to help us feed 200 homeless people. This year we did the same. We were told last night that we were not selected to receive help this year. We do not ask for much either, a $25 gift certificate to thier store will buy alot in addition to our other suppliers. Also they throw out food daily. I have watched them throw it all out on a conveyor belt into a dumpster. I asked if we could have the food to take to local churches and homeless centers. They will not give that food to the needy because they are afraid of a lawsuit. Can't they take thier name off of the products and donate the food? I did not realize there were so many homeless people until I started to feed them several times a year. It is so very sad to see them. I believe "If there is a will, there is a way" They could find a way to donate the food that will exclude them from any lawsuits...if they wanted to help. Wouldn't that be a baby step to helping the economy? Help them to start eating, who can then get stronger to get a job, then a home, and then spend money at stores!?!? Sam's is not the only ones that does this. All the big chains of grocery stores does. If anyone knows how we can help, let me know.

Instead of lambasting Sams, be an activist. Bug your representatives to allow such sources to donate food without the risk of backlash. If I were a business owner, I wouldn't donate food either. You not only risk lawsuits, but you risk having your business closed down. A Good Samaritan law already exists. Find out what laws further support what this Act provides and present it to the manager of your Walmart.

Unfortunately, I don't believe anything can be done. You should be mad at the people eager to sue Walmart Corp rather than the stores that are trying to protect themselves. No one wants to throw away food that could help someone else but corporate mandates that they do.

Sam's Club awful everything

I have been a member of Sams Club for over 3 years and a die-hard shopper of both Sams Club and Walmart Stores. This morning, I went to my local Sams Club Warehouse and was told to leave because I was not a 'business member.' Apparently they have this policy of only business members shopping before 10 am.

I have gone into this warehouse many times before 10 am and no one has ever mentioned this to me before, much less kicked me out. The greeter told me to talk to the manager and pointed to a lady who was walking away from the front door to the check out's (She was a manager of some sort) She heard me mention (as I said it loud enough) that this was not very customer or member friendly to deny a paying member the opportunity to shop!

She continued to walk away as if she didn't care that there was a customer service issue at hand. It should make no difference what type of member (business or personal) that you may happen to be, any store(membership or otherwise) should not turn away business.

It is bad enough that we have to endure their long lines at the checkouts because they don't want to hire more people to checkout members. We usually have to wait an average of 15 mins. to get checked out and they thank us by kicking us out because we go into their store early? What's wrong with this picture?

I am cancelling my membership and will not be shopping at Sam's or Walmart Stores ever again and I will be encouraging everyone I know to do the same. Walmart & Sams may be the largest retailer in the world but they have the worst customer (no) service in the industry!

Sam's Club Bangor, ME

Was told by the [censor] at this tire store of Sam's that I could not order the Pirelli Scorpion Verde all Season Radials except by ordering them on-line. I did so and never heard back that the tires were in. I called a tire dept employee and he told me that no confirmation of my order ever received.

Atta boy Sam's Club - Sam Walton must be spinning in his Grave.

Thank God This was a trial run- I got tires elsewhere.

In store #8213, Columbus, GA, I received a bad service. In the Snack shop, there used to be three to four people. Today they had two. I ordered a hotdog combo with drink. They didn't have my drink so the lady at the counter said wait a minute, while the line got longer and longer. Fifteen minutes later, I went to Customer Service and ask for a Manager and I returned my food. 10 minutes later no manager, no refund. I left disappointed. You are a billion dollar operation. What kind of Store this is? You sell items that you don't have and you intend to aggravate people.. Bert Herras, [protected], Columbus, GA.

Jason Tillo must be an employee of Sam's Club or Walmart. It shows due to his lack of constructive feedback and greater strength of simply criticizing others. Please keep in mind that a good majority of employees at both Sam's Club and Walmart have no more than a high school diploma and work for minimum wage for a good portion of their lives. They do not have the educational expertise to deal with customer service and act appropriately.

I have no complaint a bout any thing! Just an easy way to save you more money! I have noticed That Home depot and Menards contract there maintenance In! They get by a lot cheaper! For an example If you have four Maintenance men like Club 8180 does! Three full timers and one part timmer! Between all of them I figure make around 45 dollars an hour! That doesn't count the benefits that you pay them! Just think them cut backs that you could make at all SamsClubs and Walmarts ! Eliminate the Maintenance departments. Hire In a cleaning team. Just think of all that vacation time you would be cutting out! And Insurance benefits for all full time maintenance! Sit down and do your math! I am going to be honest I work at Sams club 8180! But I think all walmarts and Sams Clubs should do this!

Sam's Club awful place

The reps for the collectors are in Jamacia and you can not understand a word they say. They have called my home at least 2 times a day after being told several times of our circumstances. Sams Club and Walmart outsource their credit card to GE Money who outsources to Alliance One. THis is why so many Americans do not have jobs-so BOYCOTT SAMS CLUB AND WALMARTS. This has become a real hight mare for me and if I can, I want every one to stop shopping at the above referenced stores. And do not use a GE MONEY BANK card for anything.

There are no collections reps in Jamaica with that credit card...Alliance One is an actual collection agency though...so they may hav reps there. So if your credit card was charged off due to non payment, then the agency bought your debt from the credit company, and are now trying to get the money that you now owe them...

Sam's Club terrible quality product

After buying the 11X11 Pavillon from Sams. I assembled it and was happy. One month later it began to fall apart. Sams told me if I brought it in they would give me a refund. Problem is, an 11'x11' wooden pavillon is not able to be moved once it is assembled.

Sams sold an inferior product for nearly a thousand dollars and knowingly sold this item though complaints were pouring in over the failure of the item to live up to expectations. I strongly recommend to be very careful when buying from Sam's Club. I learned the hard way that they will not work with you once you leave the store. Very unhappy with Sams and stuck with a broken pavillon on my patio.

They offered you a full refund. Disassemble the pavilion and bring it back. Just because you are lazy doesn't mean they should take a loss.

I'm curious if anyone has had any problem working there at Sam's Club. I worked at the Sam's Club in Bloomington and put in my two weeks notice when another job came in for me. There didn't seem to be any issues as my evaluations were always 'exceeds expectations'.

My last week I slipped on the ice and got a concussion. I called out and explained the situation and faxed over the doctors not from the emergency room. I asked if there was anything else needed since I was going to use the sick time I had accrued from being there for nearly a year.

I called back after I had officially left since I was no longer able to access their website to see what my last paycheck would be. I called in and was quickly told that my sick pay would not be used and I had summarily lost it.

After calling corporate office they told me to contact the Market Manager Mike Brugger to straighten this out. Surprisingly the Walmart Corporate office was shocked at this. The Bloomington Personnel person Bonnie suddenly tried to claim that I had never faxed in my documentation even though I had the confirmation both verbally and in writing.

Now Delana at Bruggers office told me they were going to fix everything and yesterday, the check that was owned me (for even the days I was there physically working) is nonexistent.

As I saw a manager at the Bloomington make changes on the computer to employees schedules which I thought was very illegal, it makes me wonder if there applying their magic to mine too.

If other people who've worked there have had a similar experience let me know.

Thanks,

William Johnson

Sam's Club 32&wide-screen lcd tv/dvd combo

I bought LCD 32" HDTV/DVD Combo for $999 08/06, plus paid for three-yr extended warranty. Almost three yrs. exactly the off/on sensor went out, then the picture went out. So what I have left is a 32" wide-screen RADIO! All I have is sound. Boy am I pissed. After more than half-dozen calls and the royal run-around the TV service they referred me to says the reokacement panel for my TV model is NO LONGER MADE! Inoticed Sam's no longer carrys that brand either. They know it is a substandard piece of electronic schlock! I'm still waiting since 9/15 for them to locate a part that is no longer made. NEVER SHOP AT WAL_MART or SAM'S EVER! My membership is up in October and I will no longer spend a dime with either business. Target is a better business anyway, at least they sell products made in the USA. And I will be returning to Costco FOR GOOD!

Well if you bought the Service Plan and they cant find the part to repair it, they will replace the entire TV for you so you will be in great shape! B een there done that, it was a great experience actually! I bought a Projection TV they couldnt fix it and end up doing a "buy out" by replacing it and ended up with a Plasma Flat Screen much better than my original Projo! I was happy!. Not sure what Target you shop at, but Target has NO selection in electronics, and the TVs they carry are ALL from China, same with Costco. Great selection but if you think any electronics anymore are from USA I have some land in FL to sell ya! Just kidding, but it is true about most ALL electronics are from China, Korea, Hong Kong. Most USA products are assembled in USA but manufacturerd off shore.
