SafeCart product did not download after 4 tries

I purchased a computer product named "Driver Detectove" for $39.90 and was billed by Safe Cart.
I was not able to download this product correctly so I called the safe cart company and all I get is a recorded voice to go to thier web site ... when I clicked on " on how to get refund.. they tell me to go to the Driver Detective site...
I cannot get through to either the Driver Detective company nor can I get through to talk to anyone at Safe Cart.
I would like my refund but cannot get through to them..
I used my Debit Card for this and the bank asked me to get a name of someone that I spoke to before they refund me my money..
this is highway robbery

I too got stung today...told me Driver Detective had been reduced too 9.95 so I went for it. Got confmation from Paypal to the tune of 39.95.I called Paypal and they are investigating.When you Google driver detective wow all is NOT GOOD . We got crooked pass on the word...real quick... I hope paypal takes them to the Cleaners...

SafeCart driver detective, driver detective

This thing looked good to down load but ran test and did not do the job i thought it would do? like chips and Drivers. But didn't, and cost me 39.90 in cash bad investment. Don R. Jones

Since this mess was installed it has not worked! It would appear there is no option but to bite the bullet and un-install after what I have just read ..I wish I had read these complaints before I paid for a totally useless product.I will still try to get this resolved but from the above troubles it would appear this is a scam that will never be resolved until we can get this off the system. It appears that Safe Cart could care less! I am going through the same routine! Now they are saying that they are basically a middleman and I need to contact the manufacturer and "Beg" them for my money! Basically they make it as if they are washing their hands of you and if you have any desire to get a refund then it is up to "YOU!" to negotiate with them for it! WHAT? Safe Cart processed the friggin order then they should have the same power to reverse it! We have all been taken and can kiss any money spent with these crooks "Good Bye!"

well im glad i read everyones post before i bought this im having trouble opening up a DXF file which is a computer aided design and when i did the free scan it said that i had 76 items wrong with my drivers i have 2 drivers the odd thing about this is i recently had 2 bran-new hard drives put in so there cant be anything wrong with my hard drives beings that there bran-new im trying to delete the program from my pc but it wont delete i too seen that it said that this was for $9.00nand when i went to the other page it was set for $40.00 what the hec Does anyone know how to open the DXF file by chance? Thanks.

SafeCart unauthorized charges

Ordered RegCure online. Paid by PayPal. PayPal authorized payment. Three days later no license code was provided. Called [protected] (Ext. 7). The mail box is FULL and cannot leave a message. Email not answered.

Will contact Paypal now and my bank later to report FRAUD!

SafeCart fraudulent electronic check transactions

Urgent information about fraud!

I have a paypal account and some company using the name paypal is fraudulently submitting electronic checks to my bank account. They have been doing this since september and I just realized it today. The fraudulent transactions are listed as paypal des. Valid paypal transactions are listed as paypal des and I never realized that until today. As far as I know someone or company is hacking into paypal accounts obtaining checking account numbers and doing electronic checks again mine and possibly your account. Again these fraudulent electronic check transactions will show up as paypal des with varying id numbers. They are also using the paypal number of [protected] as the company number to call in reference to the transactions.

Please check you bank statements closely to verify that the same thing is not happening to you. You may also want to remove your checking account information from your paypal account as I have done. Please protect yourself! You do not want this to happen to you!

I have been waiting more than two weeks for Paypal to validate my account. In the meantime I have no access to the money there. Can't help feeling that this is a rip-off. I have provided all the requested information (uploaded passport and copy of utility bill to prove my address) but have heard nothing more for over two weeks. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

I never requested credit from this company and they initiated a hard inquiry on my credit report. This was not authorized. What can be done to remove this?

I am a US citzen born here and have only left the country once for a wekend in Canada 10 years ago. I am newbie to Paypal and thought it legit; only to find out they can unilaterally freeze your account and invade your credit card and bank account and privacy and send Equifax after you and all of this, according to "Rick" in their service department, is their right via the Patriot Act. His statemnt that they can monitor your activity like any bank ( although we have never had such a privacy invasion from a bank in the 52 years we have lived here since birth ! ) and his rude attitude clearly demonstrates a company out of control. Please do not fall victim to these people by using Paypal or Ebay as you give up your identity to them and they are obviously distributing your private information.

I ordered some parts from a company called Desert Scooters, and paid through PayPal. My credit card was charged, but I never received the merchandise. I filed a "dispute" with PayPal, but missed the deadline for the next step of "escalating" it to a "claim" by one day, because I was out of the country (I admit they had given me the deadline date). They refused to make any deviation as "this decision was made in accordance with our policy." They also refused to give me any contact information on Desert Scooters, then blocked my e-mails. I subsequently was able to determine that Desert Scooters has evidently gone out of business. I wonder if PayPal is still sending them payments? I also wonder which of the two now has my payment.

I sold an item on ebay, with a quantity of 1 as buy it now. Two people paid for the item at the same time. Ebay caught this and allowed only one transaction to go through. Paypal, on the other hand, did not. So both transaction went through and I received 2 payments for the same auction.

When I contacted paypal I was told I needed to either produce the item or I would have to pay a fine for false advertising. After showing paypal the error had occured on their part and not mine or ebays, they still told me it was my fault and responsibility.

A representative with paypal lied to me. I am still disputing this with paypal. I will not let this matter go. I know I am not the first one that this has happened to, and I will not be the last. Paypal should have a safe guard in place to prevent this from happening.

To think we pay them a fee to use their services, and this is what you get.

Buyer Beware!
Do Not Use PayPal to purchase goods or services.
They state they have a "Buyer Protection" Policy, but it is truly bogus.
They will not go after fraudulent compaines selling products that is NOT what was described.
Purchase ONLY by credit card. At least credit cards will chargeback, if it is a fraudlent company selling bogus goods or services.
Again, do not use PayPal payment services to purchase goods.

Friday the June 27, I tried selling my World of Warcraft account, which I have been paying $15 for every month for the past three years, on craigslist I talked to the buyer on American Instant Massager, AIM, before receiving the money through PayPal, which I thought was safe.

I then gave them ALL the information and changed the E-Mail address on the account, so I will NEVER get my account back. The next day I received an E-Mail saying the money was reversed so I signed into PayPal and sent them an email trying to resolve the case to get my money.

I have tried emailing PayPal at several different emails and through PayPal and have not gotten one response back. I even called them today and they were not very helpful, almost rude, plus their website says their phone waiting time will only be 5 minutes and I had to wait almost 20 minutes.

I tried asking for an address to try to work this out in person and he just ignored the question and kept talking. He kept telling me since I did not sell a tangle item; I was pretty much out of luck, even though they said they were still investigating the case and .

Nowhere on PayPal does it say you CANNOT sell an intangible item, it just says you will not be covered by the sellers protection plan, but what is I was cleaning their house, mowing their lawn or fixed their car. Just because I have no proof that I sent something I am now out everything.

I have found a web site that is against PayPal and even has a forum, I was reading though the postings and this is not the first time this has happened. Luckily mine was only for $575, and not thousands, but I need this money to live.

I have been reading everything about PayPal and everything on paypal.com since I got off the phone with them and their 'PayPal Policy' makes NO sense and does everything in the favor of PayPal and the buyer, just so PayPal wont lose out on any money.

With increasing frequency Paypal seems to be facilitating fraud. It happened to me two years ago, so I stopped using sites that take Paypal. Today I made the mistake of using Paypal to pay for bar codes on http://www.legalupcbarcodes.com/. I never got any barcodes, and Paypal says they won't give me back my money, that I need to dispute the item. You've got to be kidding. The invoice says barcodes, they didn't send them. That's fraud. And that's Paypal facilitating fraud. I'll never, ever use them again.

SafeCart was never authorized

I have no idea how this charge was made to my credit card. I asked my credit card company to investigate, but was not successful. So my next step is to file a complaint with the state corporation commission, and consumer protection agency

This is a huge scam! They got into my Pay pal account and set up an automatic renewal. No one there will help and/or credit my account!
My next step is to also contact every authority possible to report this fraudulent transaction.
The comments above back from safecart personnel is also a scam...I have contact you on six occasions with no success.
Every staff member is argumentative.
I think a class action law suit is in order.

This so-called Safecart.com has just withdrawn an amount of $ 12.40 from my PayPal account and it is totally fraudulent as I do not have there service, nor do I want them. I never authorized this transaction and have reported them. Something needs to be done about this bogus company (I do not believe they are a company) I am sick of these kind of losers that go around stealing money from hard working people. I do not use anything remotely attached to this name "SAFECART.COM" NOTE THE NAME AND STAY AWAY FROM ANYBODY POSING AS A REP FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.

Now they have traced the transaction PTLC-G050713-40FAT, they say that this amount has been forwarded on to you, that was almost 3 weeks ago. SafeCart charge not authorized

I have not been able to reconcile my bank statement for Feb on due to my husband's illness and dying in March. I have been very ill and having dangerous surgery next week. (Not heart). I have trying to catch up before my surgery to leave everything in order. I found a charge on 2/11 for a product that was advertised as free! Not wonder I stopped reconciling my checkbook at that point!

The product never did work!

$37.00 to cancel account! I have never paid to cancel an account. they charged me a $59.90 than charged me a foreign fee. I will never order such a thing from safecart. I bought a unit acceleration program through the auspices of SafeCart, PCAcceleratePRO. From the moment of installation my laptop froze and is frozen to this day. I paid through PayPal soI did get a refund. SafeCart needs to be responsible for the products they sell and provide the professional expertise to fix the damage done.

It was not clear that this was a monthly charge. Please cancel it.I cannot think of paying this more than the once. It was a deceptive ad and I disavow making a monthly commitment. I am unable to do this and won't. Your ad is not clear and I says nothing about a monthly charge.
