We hired Sadri's build & fix at the beginning of this year to build a couple of walls and render our house. Sarel Strydom who owns the company along with his wife Adri, seemed like very nice people and gave us a good price, assured us that they knew what they were doing and would begin building once we paid them about 60% of the total price so that they could cover costs, which we did and they did come to work as promised. However, we were then unhappy with the quality of builders that were brought to our house, the minimum time spent working (4hrs a day) and how little got done. Sarel assured us that it would be sorted. We asked Sarel to reconcile our account and we could start on a new page so to speak. Sarel then had a stroke and we were sympathetic and told him to resume the job once he felt better. However, once he felt better, we asked for him to please reconcile the account as we asked him and Adri to do weeks earlier. He reconciled it to a ridiculous figure, which we then asked him to rectify, so he set up a meeting with us and then didn't pitch up. He and his wife no longer answer our phone calls, emails, sms's, WhatsApps etc. They are shoddy builders who we want our money from. Do not use them!
This man is a crook and dishonest person together with the wife and the father in laws Greg. Sadris Build and Fix is not registered and Sarel the owner is insolvency. His sequestrated since 2011, but he doing fraud to people, and promise the will do the work. I paid Sarel Strydom last year 2015 to fix my leaking roof. I paid him 98% to do a job. He insisted me to deposit the into his account and clear it immediately so that he can go and buy the material. He only came 1 day then he was involved in the car accident and promised to send someone to continue with the job. Then he disappeared, not answering his phones. Don't use them they are stealing people money since they are bankrupt.
