Rush My Passport passport services

The timeline that I was given to receive my passport was totally incorrect. Several people gave me different timelines and processing directions. I didn't online and then once I completed the application online and they took my money was told they could not process it that I had to go downtown to the government building. My trip was in 3 days. You can imagine how upset I was. They made me feel out a form to request my money back because they in FedEx made a mistake. I completed the form and then they tell me it takes 7 days for the form for me to get MY money back has to be approved. And once it's approved is going to take another 10 days to get my money back. I talked to several people who all told me several things. Five different people gave me five different timelines and five different explanations. They were all incorrect! It's almost like no one there even knows what their own procedure is. I am extremely upset and extremely frustrated and I should not have to ask permission to have my own money back for a mistake that you made! The people that I spoke with almost each and every last one of them handled me very short and dismissive. No one was in pathetic or compassionate understanding. I was dismissed and shooed away at every turn.

Rush My Passport passport assistance service

Terrible. Just terrible. I definitely needed a simple rush job, and it appeared they were good to go with that. In fact, they were great at first. They walked me through the steps in a way that almost made me feel like a little kid, which is great - just to make sure each step was properly followed. When I got to the post office with all the paperwork, it was perfect. So the docs were all sent off properly. But then there was a small snafu that was unrelated to RMP's assistance. RMP let me know about that pretty quickly, and I worked that out within 24 hours and called them back to let them know that it had been corrected. From that point on, they were absolutely worthless. They punted, as if their job was over. They flat out told me that I needed to then talk with the State Department to arrange getting the passport issuance finalized, which was very complicated since RMP was still listed as the recipient (including the address) of the new passport. Because of the snafu, I was dealing with like a 24 hour window so the details were critical. I explained that to no less than 3 RMP agents, and none of them were even interested in doing anything to help. I finally figured out that the "reps" that RMP had assigned to assist in case of a problem were outside agents, like travel agents who were "on call, " and none of them really cared too much. It was pitiful. I ended up just not involving them anymore at all and arranging for the State Department to bypass RMP and send me the passport directly via overnight mail (which cost me ADDITIONAL money over and above the $ I paid RMP) to send it directly to me, so I literally got the passport and then went directly to the airport and had a successful trip. But it was literally no help to RMP. I did all the work. And this may sound crazy, but worst of all, RMP still has not contacted me at all to check in or update me or see if I ever received my passport. They have no idea that I arranged to have the passport redirected to me instead of them, so as far as they know, we are still waiting on the passport being delivered to them for my trip that was supposed to start 2 weeks ago. But no call, no e-mail, nothing from RMP at all. Does THAT sound like good customer service? I would never suggest or recommend that anyone use this service unless (1) you absolutely require your passport within the 2-4 week time frame AND (2) you are absolutely, definitely, certainly know that there is no chance for any blips at all (and I had no idea there would be one!). Otherwise, do it on your own. You're far better off - you'll give yourself better customer service and you'll save whatever the cost was, like $170? Wow.

Rush My Passport Expediting Passport

I paid a large amount to get my passport handled. They give you a number to call to get the additional paperwork. Over two days I called 5 times and listened to music for 15 or more minutes. I never got through.

I finally submitted the passport renewal myself and it was fine. I paid $189.00 for nothing and will try to get it back.

They show great reviews but I suspect they are fake.

Rush My Passport No refund so far

I contacted your company because I thought I needed a passport with my changed name after getting married and I was going to be traveling in 4 weeks. I sent all documents by Fed Ex on a Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm. The next day, Thursday, I found a passport with my "changed/married" name that I had not remembered I had attained! I called RUSHMYPASSPORT immediately and they said they would cancel my order and send my documents back. (I called at 3:30 pm on that Thursday, so the documents may not have even been received yet.)
They sent me a refund form. I filled it out immediately and faxed it, also emailed it. I still have seen no refund and am very angry. This certainly shouldn't cost $178. I'm sure nothing was done by you at this point? My order # is 577477. Please send me a refund. I'm very frustrated with communication also. I have emailed at least 3 times inquiring about this refund.
Thank you.

Rush My Passport Passport fiasco!

Solicited the services of this company because we discovered that my son's passport expired and he was set to travel out of the country in 2 weeks. I paid the initial fee of $158.90 and was sent a two page check off list of everything needed to get his passport in time to travel. After getting everything together and ready to be processed I was told he would not receive the passport in time (2 weeks) and for a "faster" service I would need to pay an additional $130, which I did. Then we had to find a passport agent that did not have a month long wait to get into see them, which the closest one was 1 hr away, ok... To get this done my son drove the hour... The passport agent charged $25 to review and seal the envelope to send to rushmypassport (Rmp). So here we are 2 days from his travel date and still no passport... My son called and inquired about the status of the passport and was told the us department of state rejected the check for $170 stating it was the wrong amount. 10 minutes after my son called we conveniently received an email stating such... Rushmypassport (Rmp) claimed they just received the letter. Now, for another $10 rmp would cut a check on our behalf to get the passport, but it would not arrive until the day after my son was to leave the country. For all our trouble rmp is supposed to refund me $130 for the "faster" service (i doubt i'll see it) and I got the privilege to be berated by their "solutions representative"so we waisted $158.90 for a bogus service, $25 "sealing charge" mileage, time, and, photos, fedex envelope and flight and hotel expenses. Do not use this service, it is a scam!

Rush My Passport Charged my credit card $200 for a service they never performed!

Beware of this company! They charged me for a service they did not provide! I ordered online 20 days before my cruise and paid for the 10-12 day service. I was told by the passport agency that I needed to wait until less then 14 days for my appointment. I called rush my passport 12 days before my cruise for their paperwork and was told I needed to pay more money. I immediately told them that I wanted to cancel their services and faxed a cancellation request. I was informed by their company that I only had 3 days to cancel my order and they would not be refunding my money. They refused to refund my money even after filing a bbb.

Rush My Passport Credit card charged for a service I did not use

I found Rush My Passport while researching an expedited passport. I was 20 days away from my cruise and ordered the 10-12 day service. When I received instruction from Rush My Passport, I made my appointment with the passport agency who would not see me until 14 days before my travel. I called Rush My Passport 12 days before my cruise to get my paperwork from them and was told that I would have to pay them more money. I immediately told them I wanted to cancel my services and faxed them a cancellation request. I was informed that they would not refund my money because their policy states it all cancellations need to be done within 72 hours. How could I have cancelled if I that quickly if the agency would not see me before the day I went in? They charged me $200 for a service they did not provide.

Rush My Passport Passport expediting service

If international travel is in your future and you need expedited service to obtain or renew your passport, I strongly suggest you consider going directly to the Dept of State or use a vendor OTHER THAN Russmypassport.com - a passport expediting firm that is engaging in shady business practices. THis company is unilaterally changing the terms/conditions of service after payment is made and received; fails to retain records of its conversations with customers who have contracted for their services as well as other appropriate records necessary to discuss the contract, and fails to deliver passports on time as promised. I will miss participating in a group tour because of this firm's wrongful conduct - despite the many phone calls to and assurances from the Customer Services Reps that I would have my passport on time.
I have complained to my elected officials in Washington, DC.

Rush My Passport Passport

As most people with extremely limited time to obtain a passport, I contacted RushMyPassport.Com based on their length of time in business and presumed experience in the field. I submitted all the documents listed in the checklist they provide in order to process the application to renew a passport. I paid them a total sum of $493.00 to engage their services and renew my mother's passport, as she had to travel on an emergency basis to keep a relative on his deathbed company.

Clearly, I would not have tendered this rather large sum so trustingly unless I had been repeatedly assured by their Customer Service Reps that, upon timely submission of all the items on the checklist that they provided, I would be able to have my mother's passport no later than Saturday as my mother is traveling on Sunday. All the required documents were submitted timely trusting that, based on their length of time in business and the fact that renewing a passport is such an ordinary task, particularly for them given the experience that they represent to have, there would be no delays.

Today, Friday, the last business day before travel, I was sent an email, very late in the day, advising me that the State Dept. would require additional documents before processing the application, not provided for on their checklist and further stating that I would not be able to obtain my mother's passport on or before the day of travel. As a result, she has had to cancel her trip, miss her last chance to see a very close relative on his deathbed, lose the money that she spent on her airfare, and, according to Mr. Altman who represented himself as the owner/supervisor lose the $493.00 paid to them in order to provide a service which the company's CSRs eagerly assured me that they could. Mr. Altman further stated that I am not entitled to any refunds, as he has 'the last word on the matter'. Mr. Altman repeatedly emphasized that the business relationship into which I entered with Expedited Travel, can be best described as, and I am paraphrasing, 'buyer beware' and that I should have known better than to expect what the company's CSRs promised over the phone from the outset.

These truly are the worst sort of people, not because of the unforeseen delays that dealing with any bureaucracy entails but because of the either ignorant or malicious misrepresentation on the part of their CSRs as to what could be accomplished, and mostly because of Mr. Altman's, who should actually know better, lack of empathy, customer service skills, and even common decency when dealing with a client in such difficult circumstances.

Buyer Beware Indeed!

Rush My Passport Did not receive passport and could not get refund

Do not. Please do not use this RushMyPassport.com service over the internet. They are nothing but rip-off artists. I needed a passport to go to Greece. I tried for a month to get one from Rush My Passport. Not able to do it and all they wanted to do was to keep charging me more and more and more for each little service because of one delay after another. When I finally gave up and went to Legal Passport, I could not get a refund from RUSH MY PASSPORT. They refused to work with me in a timely manner and they refused to refund the money they charged me in spite of the fact that I was unable to get a passport from them.

Fortunately, I was able to get a passport from Legal Passport in a week and was able to travel to Greece. I am enjoying the beach but am still extremely miffed over the incident with RushMyPassport.com.

The date of the incident: March 18, 2016
Client/Order Number: 469482
Resolution desired: I would like my $198.80 refunded to my account. I was not given the passport service I paid for and had to go elsewhere to obtain a passport.

I will never recommend anyone use RUSH MY PASSPORT for any reason. Please go somewhere else.

Rush My Passport Processing and refund

Rush my pas port is a total scam. You do all of the leg work to get your pas port completed. So if you don't have time to go to the post office and process your pas port guess what? You can't get your pas port period! Rush my pas port also does not do refunds! If you don't cancel your order in less the 24 hours you will NEVER see your money again.
I went down to the post office months later and they processed my pas-port and had it in my hand in less then 3 weeks.
This service is a total rip off!

Rush My Passport Poor Service

I submitted a rush order for a new passport on March 8 and submitted all documentation the following week. They informed me that they needed additional info which I Fed Ex'd on April 3. I received a confirmation from Fed Ex that the docs were submitted on April 4 and an e-mail from Rush My Passport that my documents were received. I also received a voicemail that my passport was being processed. Today it is April 16, and I still have not received my passport. I called Rush My Passport and the representative stated that they have not received my documents. Their company confirmed receipt themselves! My trip is coming soon and I am not happy with the service from Rush My Passport. It's not worth it.

Rush My Passport No Service/No Refund

I was supposed to travel for business unexpectedly and needed a passport right away (I had lost mine). I was told over the phone and online that they would have no probem fulfilling the request. They cahrged my card and then a few days later told me that they could not get the passport to me in time for my travel. I had to make an appointment with the state office and get my passport through them - Which proved to be a much easier process (believe it or not). I asked to have the money refunded and they told me that because I did not cancel the service within three days they did not have to give the money back. I found this excuse very interesting as I was not told that the service couldn't be fulfilled until after the three days.

After writing this report I was contacted by the http://rushmypassport.com staff. They took the time to explain the service in its entirety as well as explain the reasoning for the return policy being so limited. I was pleased with the attention to my concern and the outcome of the call which resulted in a refund to my account. I thank http://rushmypassport.com for their prompt attention and resolution to my problem.

Rush My Passport Did not get the service I paid for

I recently applied for a passport through rushmypassport.com on Thursday 07/01/10. I paid for the 3-4 business day service and now I'm being told that my passport won't be ready until Monday 07/12/10. This service is a complete SCAM! No one and I say No one should use this service. There is no outlet such that allows you to be able to obtain a refund either. So whatever monies you paid for the services you were to receive, you are out of. COMPLETE UTTER SCAM!

Rush My Passport Read this, please - a fair review of a great service

It seems to be human nature, to only complain, so I thought it only fair to post a good experience with this company, that my wife and I just had.

Here's our story: On the President's Day weekend of 2010 (just last weekend, as I write this), we discovered that my wife's passport was expired. At that time, there were only 10 days until we had to travel to the Bahamas. The expedited service through the USPS was two to three weeks, according to the Department of State website. It was Saturday morning and we scrambled to see what our alternatives were and I Googled "passport expediting services". The first one that came up was RushMyPassport.com. We immediately jumped in to the process, as the website seemed well designed and legitimate. We filled out the online forms, got our ducks in a row at home, and waited for a call from an agent (as promised on the website). We didn't hear from anyone for 2 days and on Monday we called. The operator said they were closed because of President's Day (which made sense, as I, too, was off work) and to expect a call the next day. Honestly, I started to get concerned, as I then Googled the site's name, again, but this time with "reviews" after it. I read some bad ones... BUT - come Tuesday, an agent from the company, Kyle Cloud, called my wife and started the ball rolling. He sent us an email with the check-list and the authorization letter (to allow RushMyPassport.com to work on our behalf). He then sent a FedEx label, via email. He carefully walked my wife through all the steps and double and triple checked that we had everything in the envelope. Here is what he stressed the most, after that - YOU MUST send the FedEx, when you are directed to, as they have a limited amount of spots, each day, to get in front of the proper folks to get this done. We had everything sewn up, on our end...and FedExed the envelope when and as directed. Kyle called on Wednesday to confirm he had received the documents and everything was in order. He did say that there would be a one day delay, because of the volume of business they had. As such, he would be refunding us $50, as we paid for the next day air option and it would now be two days. We asked if we could switch delivery to Saturday for a little extra. He checked, and asked if we were OK with $25 refunded, rather than $50, due to the extra charge from FedEx for Saturday delivery. We agreed that would be fine, as we would only be a few days away from our trip and just wanted to get the documents in hand. So...on Saturday...9:30 AM, the FedEx truck pulled up, in front of our house...and there was the envelope with my wife's new passport. This was TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY. It was a great service and they did EVERYTHING they said they would. Here's where I think a disconnect can happen, which can lead to disgruntled customers (which would not be the fault of the service). You can not have incorrect information, a damaged passport or any other problems that would cause the service not to work, due to things that would cause governmental delays. It is clearly laid out on the site what the requirements are. You can't fault the company for having guidelines...and let's face it...many people fail to read what they need to. And, in regard to faulting a company for wanting to make money...that's what they're there for. They're a business. Anyway - the net of it is that if you have your stuff together, these folks can be trusted and it's a great service. I highly recommend it!

Even if this comment is legitimate, it still sounds ridiculous. First, he starts off by immediately saying RushMyPassport took two days to reply. BOOM, lost my business. The point of this site is how quickly they can expedite your passport. Then, by listing what happened on each day, he makes it sound like he was willing to pay more to have the passport delivered *later* rather than sooner, despite saying they were eager to have the documents in hand. You know, MrBrightSide, maybe you were right, after all!

Rush My Passport Passport

***INCREDIBLE*** It is absolutely incredible how a this company Rushmypassport.com is getting so much bad “press”. I just HAD to post a message because I am very much like many people who are checking out the company and doing some due diligence on the company to find out if I made a mistake or if I should look for another company to try and get my passport expedited. I can tell you that I am just a guy who was lucky enough to get invited to a company trip that is going out of country. I hadn’t been out of country in a while; knew my passport was expired; & up until that point in time had no reason to worry about getting it renewed. My problem was that my company trip was taking place within 4 weeks. I knew from experience it could take anywhere from 3 – 8 weeks & as you can imagine wanted to leave nothing to chance. Long story short… I did a search for “rush & passport” something someone had told me about (someone who had been waiting for over 4 weeks to receive theirs) and I saw www.rushmypassport.com with all the same accolades mentioned is some of the complaints (CNN; MSNBC; Forbes) I did find the company mentioned on each of those sites; which helped to reassure me. Honestly I almost made the decision to cancel because of reading all of the negative comments and complaints about them. I CAN TELL YOU NOW… I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID NOT CANCEL. Friday night I started the process by filling out the information with the company online; read all the crap over the next couple of days. Placed a call into the company on Monday only to find out my “case worker” was out of the office until late that afternoon; as you can imagine I began to freak out again. I left RJ a couple of messages on how to reach me and went to the bar to grab a cocktail and try to just relax and calm my nerves. I got a call from RJ right about 45 minutes or so after he had mentioned on his voicemail he would be back in the office. That was my first sense of relief. He had sent me the paperwork “checklist” & Fed Ex Label etc. Talked me through the requirements (Preliminary Itinerary within the next 14 days; duplicate copies of the necessary documents etc.); from that point on it was absolutely smooth sailing. Took my passport photos on Tuesday; took my documents to the Post Office to have sealed by a State Agent. Took the sealed package to the Fed Ex Office; mailed it out and crossed my fingers… That was Tuesday; on Friday the package was at my door. I HAVE MY PASSPORT! I paid for 5 – 7 day service; got it in 4 days! I truly; whole heartedly recommend this company. So much so that I will go onto every site that I read a bad review on and post a meassage letting everyone know the company is absolutely Good To Go! Coming from a Former Marine with Integrity; not an agent of the company or the owner of the company or anyone with any vested interest whatsoever in the company

Paid 350 dollars for 24 hour service. Placed the order on Tuesday and it was supposed to arrive at my workplace today (Friday). It did not. Now they are saying that it should be in tomorrow (Saturday)...well my workplace is closed tomorrow so why did I pay for the 24 hour service? Now i have to wait until Monday. Waiting for a resolution.

We get it. you had good experience. But here I am waiting for my passport and it is still not here and I paid for the 24 hour service. We can only go by what our own experiences have been. So should we lied about our experiences just because you had a good one?
