I find it demeaning that I am forced to use this 'card' for receiving child support payments. There are no ATM's or branches within 100 miles of my home STATE of Michigan! The only two ways to access the money on the card are to be charged an ATM fee for cash withdrawal, or use the debit. This sometimes I am forced to put half my grocery order on the reliacard and the other half on my debit card for my regular checking account. There is ONE WAY to transfer the money on the card to my regular bank account... TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE and wait on hold and have THEM transfer the money for me when I get my checks once a week! Forcing me to manage two accounts this way is taking more of my precious time as a single parent away. There is NO WAY to email reliacard suggestions or complaints or contact them online at all. MAJOR INCONVENIENCES. As an American, I should have a right to access my money by any means necessary without paying a fee or jumping through hoops.

Relia Card is an awful "government" service. Nearly every or any transaction costs you. This hurts financially, because it waters down an otherwise meager helpful financial service provided by our tax dollars. THEN, ReliaCard does not credit your account for a day or two or three. This means they have used your money for other reasons rather than what it was meant.

ReliaCard has abused the system, has been financially unhelpful and abusive to people who rely on the service they are to provide.

Called customer service regarding
a transaction that had been canceled/voided. With the company on the phone to give a 6 digit code to show the transaction had been canceled the so called supervisor said that the state will not release the funds until a certain period. He lied his a** off because I talked to the state and looked it up on line along with the company and it states once the funds are put on the card the state does NOT have access to the card. This guy lied to me and was rude and a POS I will not be using this card anymore.

The customer service is piss poor. They hang up on you if you ask to speak with a supervisor or dont agree with what they have said. I cant wait to change companies!
