I have booked a ticket through Regency Travels (Recreation Centre- Qatar Foundation Branch) to Travel to Jeddah in order to perform Umrah. However, the agent from Regency travel issued me a ticket without confirming the seat with Gulf Airlines.

Here is the history of my Journey:

I was scheduled to travel on Thursday 04/10/2007 at 15.25 hrs to Bahrain and from Bahrain to Jeddah at 17.00 hrs on the same date. But unfortunately after reaching the airport I found that the ticket with Gulf Air has not been confirmed and I cannot board the flight. After further investigation with the Airlines they updated me stating that there is no PNR Number on the ticket which confirms my booking. When I checked the same with the Travel Agent he asked me to wait at the airport as he was trying other options and later he concluded offering me return of Airfare which makes no sense to me. As after massive struggle I got a Visa to travel and furthermore I made necessary arrangements to fly and at the neck of the moment while I was waiting at airport for a positive response I got no help from REGENCY TRAVELS instead fund refunds.

Later I again contacted Gulf Air Agent who gave me an option to fly at the late night flight which left Doha at 2200 hrs on 04/10/2007 and I transit to Jeddah at 0525 hrs on 05/10/2007 which I merely accepted as I was left with no options to fly because of which I kill time wandering on Doha and Bahrain Airport which was agonizing me for no fault of mine and moreover my entire schedule was ruined.
