Respected Sir,
I purchased a nokia 3110c from bikaner, rajasthan.india in august 2007 with one year warrenty. in December ’07 my handset faced restatrt problem with spontaneous switching on and off while sending sms or after inserting memory card.i gave it to aditya enterprises(NOKIA CARE, BIKANER, RAJASTHAN, INDIA).they returned my handset after 2 days after upgrading its firmware/repairing. It was ok for a month then same problem re appeared. I gave it to nokia care in mid feb.again. they repaired it in same way with re installing its firmware.
But after a month in march same problem re appeared and I gave my handset to nokia care on 26th march. Now they said that my handset would be sent to jaipur. After a week when I went there to know status, they informed me that my handset will be replaced with new handset in a day or two as the problem persisted thrice. but in the following one week I visited for 4-5 times and wasted 10 hrs for repair/replacement of my phone. After all of my waitings, on 14th april they tried to give me AN OLD HANDSET WITH DIFFERENT IMEI NUMBER AND VERY BAD LOOKING CONDITION THAN MY ORIGINAL WELL MAINTAINED NEAR NEW HANDSET. But I did not accept that old phone replacing my original.
Then I told all this matter to HEAD of nokia care, bikaner for complaining misbehaviour of staff.now he said me that I should wait till 18th or 19th of april.I HAVE STATED THEM THAT I WILL ACCEPT EITHER MY ORIGINAL HANDSET AFTER REPAIR OR A NEW HANDSET WITHOUT BATTERY/ACCESSORIES.
NOW IF MY MATTER WILL NOT BE DEALT APPROPRIATELY, I WILL HAVE TO GO TO CONSUMER COURT.
I HAVE SUFFERED A LOT CONCERNING THIS MATTER. AND I REQUEST AND EXPECT THAT YOU WILL HANDLE ALL THIS MATTER POSITIVELY FOR BETTER JUSTICE AND TAKE CARE OF ALL MY SUFFERINGS.

ya i totally agree with this complain as being the unlucky owner of the same product, i too have faced the same problem.my opinion is that company should replace all those troubling sets from all over the country.consumer forum must take initiative itself.

yha I am agree with Dr. Vinay's Problem and i am also suffring with the problem again when i open the music player it restarts and off after about 3 min and also when i switch any game or sim contact it restart

Hello Sir,

Yes, I also agree with the problem Mr. Vinay is facing. I am also an unfortunate owner of the same model and faced the same problem again and again. I scanned my memory card which showed no virus in it. Whenever I faced all these problems I went to the customer care and every time they just reinstalled it with an upgraded version of softwares. But that really did not help. Whenever you insert a memeory card into it this problem will occur. I really want the authority to take steps in favour of all the consumers facing this problem. Even in the warranty period how these kind of things could happen!
