Refusal to cancel my account

I have made 4 attempts in the last 2 weeks to cancel Netzero. Each time I was assured that the account had been canceled. However, instead, they billed my charge card... then they put their so called high speed on my computer without permission, and it messed up my new broadband server. I made the second attempt to cancel... then the third, and today the fourth. Still this crap is on my computer, and my money has not been returned that they took by fraud. These people are complete crooks. They lie, cheat, and steal. I'm wondering if there is any way to get them out of my life.
I did file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission today. It would be a good idea if everyone here would do the same. If the FTC gets enough complaints, they will investigate.
