Red Lobster lobster and fish

My husband and I went to Red Lobster for lunch i order crunch fish fried i was very disappoint i remember back when fish was great ...Now it's like if i ordered and frozen dinner...for fish...My husband order Lobster did not have enough to eat didn't enjoy his meal...never again...we told our neighbor about it ..actually they told us the same thing... we spend 55.00 that wasn't worth it never again...San Antonio texas @ Walzam...

We ate at Red Lobster last night, my grand daughter ate Grilled Salmon. When we got home she started complaining about her stomach hurting, shortly after that she started throwing up. She's been up all night throwing up, I have to take her to the hospital she is throwing up about ever 20 to 30 minutes.

Red Lobster couldnt get my order correct

I decided to get Red Lobster for an early dinner. This particular Red Lobster opened about a month ago, so I was really looking forward to a dinner at home. I called in my order at 3pm thinking they wouldn't be very busy. I ordered a dinner portion of crab alfredo linguini. The order taker said it would be 30 minutes. When I got to the restaurant, there were only a handfull of customers and many servers standing around doing nothing, so I figured I wouldnt have to wait too long. I sat and waited aprox. 20 minutes when finally my order came. The girl said it was $14.99. Now I knew something wasnt right. (The dinner I ordered cost $16.99). I explained that I ordered a "dinner", so she took it back. After waiting an additional 10 minutes or so, my order came again and they comped me the $2.00 for the wait. When I got home and opend my food, it was cold, so I put it in the microwave for a minute. When I finally sat down to eat it, I noticed it was not crab linquini at all, It was Lobster! For one thing lobster is very tough and chewy and after warming in the microwave made it even worse. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. I explained what happend, and said, I didnt even know Red Lobster served a lobster linguini and she said they didnt. She agreed that the cook made a mistake, and she realized it and was actually looking for my order so they could call me. She offered to send me a gift card to make up for the mistake. We'll see if it comes or not. Hope they get their stuff together. We've been waiting for a Red Lobster in our area for a long time!

LOL, yeah it sounds kinda petty, but when you order crab (i dont like lobster because it is too tough and chewy) and you get lobster that tastes like rubber, you would have complained too.

Red Lobster steamed lobsters

They refused to serve us steamed lobsters whole. We have gotten 2-3 lb lobsters each, steamed whole at Red Lobster for years. If this is a new policy, then we will take our business some where else. An average dinner for us is at least 2-3 hundred dollars. Please let me know. My mother went to this Bossier location and ordered a lobster dinner, and when they presented her with the lobster that was broken in half, they were rude and the manager said she must pay for the meal. She didn't even want to eat it, but bought it and left. We have 2 birthdays coming in Feb and need to know if this will happen again

Red Lobster stopped doing unsplit lobsters due to the high mercury content in the tomally(guts).

Red Lobster never again

I called the location to let them know that I was coming in with two birthdays I was celebrating. My daughter's was that day, and my husband's the next. When we arrived, I made sure the hostess had the note available for our waitress. My daughter already knew we were there for her birthday, but my husband had no idea this trip was him as well. After finishing up with our meals, the waitress asked if we wanted to order dessert. Confused, I got up from the table to ask her about it. At the moment she was helping another table so I grabbed the attention of another server. He then explained that the restaurant doesn't provide free dessert for birthdays, but they would put a candle on whatever we order and sing Happy Birthday. Of course, I declined the offer. I was really disappointed about this because there are so many restaurants I could have chose, but I chose them. We rarely go out to eat, and when we do, it's not an expensive place. After getting a bill for over $70, not including tip...you can't give us a free dessert for some birthdays. I will never go to their restaurant again, even if not a birthday.

I've never heard or been to a restaurant that provided free cakes for a birthday even if you tell them in advance. Usually, you order the cake/dessert and then ask them to put candles and/or sing if requested. Why did you think you'd get free food? In this day and age?

Red Lobster did nothing wrong here.

Red Lobster food

My name is susan waters- 6 shumagin ct. Greenville, sc 29605. My husband and i went to the above location to celebtate our 20th ann. On june the 11th. We have been many many times and always enjoyed the food until this last visit, and the food was terrible. We had a shrimp trio platter and an admerial's feast platter. Our bill was right at $50. A total waste of monry for us since we both are on limited income. We just wanted a great meal for our special day. We could have went somewhere else but we have always loved red lobster food. It was an utterly dissappointment for us. The seafood tasted rubbery and overcooked, more like prefabbed. My husband says he will never go there again, and will tell everyone he can how horrible the food was there. I hope your other resturants aren't as bad as our visit was.Feel free to contact me if you have anything to say on this matter. Signed, s. M. Waters.

Today on [protected] my wife and me visited Red lobster in Savannah, Ga. Being a long time customer of Red Lobster I would like to say the quality and the taste of the meal was not what we expected(in other words it was unacceptable). The food was nasty and service was slow.

but red lobster is cheating them, fifty dollars for two meals, come on. they are tricking this couple. and they don't need to put up with that ###. fifty dollars for two meal you can even feed a family of three for that price less actually or a family of four. at fifty dollars it should be five or six people eating.

This reply coming from an eleven year old whose parents still buy his food for him at restaurants. An eleven year old who has never had to pay a restaurant bill. If you are going to a fast food restaurant like Burger King, Mcdonalds yes, $50 can feed a family of five or six, but for a place like Red Lobster, or any other fancy restaurant the food is served to you, it is better prepared, the dining establishment is more relaxed this is quite normal for two people and not that expensive.

I don't normally agree with Irish, I do agree with one of her points. People claim they are royal customers. They have always gotton good service, but the one out of many times something goes wrong they immediately badmouth the company, say they will not be returning, tell everyone about their bad experience ect.

When I worked at Red Lobster Wauwatosa from February 1996 to June 1996, The white waitresses were acting like ###, The black man manager Ed Travis was an ### hole, biracial kitchen manager Johnny Moore was a Uncle Tom and a sellout married to a white woman.Johnny is making kitchen co-workers do other peoples jobs that is not part of their job description, My job description was splitting and peeling shrimp.Johnny had me Baking Bread(Garlic Cheese Bread), Scrubbing the kitchen floor with bleach like Cinderella, Making me do crab legs, and Making me do truck, that was not part of my job description!That's why I quit Red Lobster Wauwatosa because of Johnny Moore actions.When I split and peel shrimp at Brown Deer Red Lobster, The white lady manager Melinda Vander Vieran was a ###, Jim Lubinski a white man Asst Mgr was a ###in ### hole and Dawn the white lady Dining Room Manager was a ### making co-workers to do other co-workers jobs that's not part of their job description!A black guy dishwasher named Louis Bledsoe, Dawn a white lady dining room manager and A white guy dishwasher named William Mancini was bossing Louis
Bledsoe around, Louis was fed up with them and cussed them out calling Dawn a ### and he got fired that same day, In 1994 A black co-worker named Dwight Williams, Everytime Melinda, Jim, and Dawn tell Dwight to do someone else's job he tell them that's not part of his job, Saturday Morning Dawn the Dining Room Manager sent Jeremy the broil person home because of his overtime hours, Dawn pulled Dwight from breading shrimp to do broil, The last minute before Red Lobster started to open, Dawn told Dwight to bake bread, Dwight had a talk with Dawn, I overheard their conversation behind the closed door Dwight telling Dawn that's not part of his job, Dwight kept telling Dawn over and over that's not part of his job, Then he walked out saying I'm not coming back!I quit in December 1994 because Melinda was cutting my hours.Melinda told Breader Antoine to go grab a dessert out of refrigerator, Antoine was mad and angry with Melinda, Antoine slammed the refrigerator door loud when he grabbed the dessert, Melinda had a talk with Antoine, Antoine snapped on Melinda and went off on Melinda, telling her that's not part of his job, Antoine Bluntson told Melinda he's not coming back then walked out.Dawn got transferred to Red Lobster Greendale in 1994.Jim quit in 1995, In 1995 Melinda got fired for stealing money from Red Lobster and I found out that she hated black people, That's why Melinda was doing those wrongful actions to me and the other black co-workers and It came back to haunt Melinda.Red Loster Restaurant and Red Lobster Management are full of ### and full of white trash!

Apparently, you are the one with the racist attitude. Nothing but 'White' this and 'Black' that. What is wrong with being bi-racial or being married to someone of another race? Perhaps, your own racism is the reason for your general dissatisfaction with your experience with Red Lobster. I recommend seeing a shrink. You need it.

Red Lobster server complaint

We have always considered one of the better restaurants in Findlay to eat since we moved here 23 years ago. As of lately the service is going down hill. A week ago today my husband and I ate dinner there. When the waitress took our order I asked if the scallopes were big or small. She said big. So I ordered a pick 2 meal, I think it was scallops & chicken. When the order came the scallops were small. I don't care for these as they avery strong fishy taste. So I told the waitress, then she comes back with a manager and she asked what waswrong, I told her and she took the scallpos and advised she ordered the big ones for me. End of coversation. A couple of months ago my husband ordered an all you can eat meal, when he finished the first portion he motioned for server to bring more. After waiting 45 mins. we payed our bill and left.At the time we didn, t say anything as we were mad.

Red Lobster terrible overall experience

Our family has always enjoyed Red Lobster however on our last two visits to this particular Red Lobster was very disturbing. The wait staff was acting in such an inappropriate manner that we ended up leaving before our entree's arrived. We are a family of 6, we have four children ages 15, 13, 10 and 7. After witnessing the flirting between the employees and several slaps on rear ends while we were eating our appetizers we decided to bring it to the manager on duty attention. We were extremely dissappointed to find out that the manager that approached our table was one of the main persons involved. She was very rude and acted as if this was a natural behavior for her employees. She never apologized, so my husband and I along with our four hungry children left. I wish someone could get involved to make necessary changes as we enjoy eating there and it is the only one within 30 miles from our home! PLEASE HELP THEM! Customers are always supposed to right however working in the restaurant industry I know that is not always the case. I did not think it was fair that your employees and especially management subjected my children to witness such behavior on what should have been a NICE FAMILY DINNER! Thank you for your concern

Sir, perhaps if you weren't so uptight, you would have just answered "Oh, okay I will wait until she gets back, then she can order her drink." Why is it such a big deal? The comment you made about your daughter being embarrassed and your wife hiding her face--It could easily be assumed it was your antics that caused that. Whether or not the server was friendly is one thing, but restaurants do follow certain rules, and you're not above them. The portions, yes, may have been altered due to your flip out, which is TOTALLY wrong on their part. There's no excuse for it. That being said, it goes to show you how much control you have over your own service. You've gotta give respect to get it. We're servers doing a job, but we're also people, and it takes a very strong person not to be affected by a rude or snippy guest or one who feels they're entitled to special treatment. GOOD DAY.

Red Lobster service

We arrived to eat at 3 pm on a friday. About 10 tables in restaurant were occupied. We were told there would be a 10 minute wait. I asked a disgruntled "manager" why there was a wait. She said because the wait staff was only allowed to serve three tables at a time. Incredible. Obviously they don't care anything about customer service. Also, I asked the waitress for tarter sauce instead of the cocktail sauce she brought and my husband asked for extra cocktail sauce. She told me to give my extra cocktail sauce to my husband and she then brought a very small container of tarter sauce... Acting like it was a big imposition. We eat out five times a week and the service at this red lobster is the absolute worst.

My mother and have been to the Red Lobster for a late lunch early dinner and both times we have been there has been a disappointment. Its the Red Lobster in Spring Hill Florida on route 19. The first time we went were greeted very nicely and seated in prompt amount of time as soon as we entered. The waitress never showed to the table for twenty minutes to even greet us and it wasn't busy. Very few people there. She took our drink order and another twenty minutes before she arrived to take our food order. My mother I got up and walked out the manager followed us out and talked with us and got us to come back in and eat with a free gift card. This past Thursday Sept. 17th, 2009, My mother and I once again went to the same Red Lobster. Greeted and seated very nicely but the waitress took fifteen minutes in a non busy hour (hardly anyone was there to eat). The waitress had an attitude right off the bat, took our drink order, no name given seemed like she hated her job. The drinks came twenty minutes later we gave our food order and she wasn't pleasant at all. My mother asked if they were short of help in the kitchen thought maybe that was the hold up. The waitress stated NO! My mother stated well the service is very slow for hardly any business clientel wise. It took the waitress another twenty minutes to a half hour to serve our soup and salad, crab cake dishes. Needless to say she was not tipped or will we be going to Red Lobster to eat again. We enjoy the food but the service the two times we were there was not even an effort on the servers. The manager that day wasn't around nor did we see him until we went to go out the door and over heard a server speaking to him about another customer who was complaining.

Red Lobster do not work at red lobster wauwatosa

When I worked at Red Lobster Mayfair on February 1996, The Multiracial Kitchen manager Johnny Moore, The black manager Ed Travis, and The white manager Brian are full of ###!They mistreated co-workers, They did not show co-workers the proper respect, Johnny Moore had me do Truck, Bake Bread, Do Crab Legs, and Scrubb the wall and floor with bleach, That was not part of my description.I was fed up the Kitchen Manager Johnny Moore and his actions and the management's actions.I called 1-800-Lobster and told them what happened, They did not do ### about the situation, I was mad and fed up with the bull ### and then What Happened was I quit and I never came back to Red Lobster! The waitresses were full of ###, The waitresses who were full of ### were Diane the white lady waitress was full of ###, Paula the white lady waitress was full of ###, Shannon Miller the white lady waitress was full of ###! After I quit Red Lobster in 1996, In 2002 Red Lobster put security cameras outside because co-workers, and customers cars were being broken into.Red Lobster Mayfair is full of ###.I recommened nobody not to eat there and not to work there.

I worked with many of these people he’s referencing. All totally cool, and I worked there long enough to know the [censored]bags from the good people. The only one he was right about was Brian. I’m guessing he was any one of the many guys that walked in there thinking they didn’t have to go through the [censored] before getting the respect. I probably know him.

Theoretically, the longer you work at an establishment the better you should be treated (if you're a good worker) unfortunately when management is dishonest or unfair things may actually get worse!

Always be aware of the signs that they are trying to make you want to quit and then bide your time for management to screw up and then file for unemployment.

Ordered broiled Flounder, Sent back 3 times as was not cooked. Cearser salads, served warm, if there was a teaspoon of dressing I would be surprised. Very small in size. Rolls not cooked, raw dough middle of biscuits. Restaurant to cold. Never will I eat in another Red Lobster. Quality re food/service has steadily declined.

I don't think he was writing about pricing but about the quality. While sending flounder back 3 times seems a bit extreme and could have asked for more dressing for the salad while he had the wait staff running all over, you should have asked for a manager

Red Lobster somewhere in New Jersey has the same type of managers.
My boyfriend worked their for over 13 years now. Reduced his hours and gave him more work then anyone can do in the time he is allowed. Now reduced by two days now.

They want a server to be paid for doing cleaning, A.C. and utility. For under $3.00 an hour?
My boyfriend is close to making around $8.00 a hour, but still not there after 13 years.

He keeps hearing that we are "THE BEST" Red Lobster in the area from district managers. And the managers' get the bonuses and the people that slave and work for almost no pay and have to work their you know whats off to make a living in NJ.

Now Red Lobster is now stating No cameras due to some bad things that were posted on a public forum. with pictures of a few managers. The person was fired after the manager found out about it. The person sued Red Lobster. Closed case. I believe that Red Lobster Won that case due to the clause "at-will" employment. Fire you on the spot for any thing that they want to or for no reason at all. Just to get someone else to do your job cheaper.

My boyfriend states that a few of the managers are not too bad. Mostly the G.M's are the ones you have to watch out for.

I do not work at Red Lobster and I am great full that I do not work there.

From reading this, I would say your attitude is likely the cause for your problems. You will continue to have problems in life as well due to the very same attitude. If you have a legitimate grievance, explain yourself. Swearing and cursing and repeating "full of ###" actually tells us nothing as to your reason for being unhappy. My guess is that, if you were smart and capable of expressing yourself properly, you would have been able to communicate with the manager and he/she would have taken you seriously. If not, you could have gone up the ladder so to speak and voiced your concerns to their boss. Stop being ghetto. Educate yourself and raise yourself up to the next level. Look inward for the source of your unhappiness and stop blaming others. Only then will you find true happiness, make money and have a life outside the local penitentiary...

Red Lobster stay away

On June first a friend and I went to Red Lobster Restaurant for lunch around 2:30PM. We were greeted poorly by a messy dressed hostess who had a very sad and put upon attitude. As she seated us, we decided to sit at the bar. The service was terrible. When we complained to the manager nothing was accomplished. Just the manager and the waitress/barmaid whispering to each other. The potato was uncooked and hard. The food itself was sparse for the price $22.95, the coke was flat, and the manager did nothing to help our situation. We would never go there again or advise anyone else to go there either.

Well first of all I eat out alot and frankly I have seen restaurants bend over backwards for guests. The guest who complains are the ones who are looking for something free and who has no idea how to act in a restaurant. For instance I went to a restaurant and I was sitting next to a family of 7 with 3 kids and they annoyingly made the server run back and forth for stupid little things like she was a servant. Grow up people and stop robbing businesses. You obviously can't cook and clean and that is why you go out and dirty someone else's place and then complain when your own kids behave unmannerly and have no respect for other diners. You want other people to roll out the red carpet for you like you are special and you wouldn't last 5 mins in a fine dining restaurant because all those who complain are unmannerly.

Red Lobster lack of response

There were 4 of us for dinner, we arrived at approx 7pm, the hostess
advised there would be a lengthy wait.
There were people sitting all over the waiting area and standing
outside. I observed approx 4 open tables in the lounge area, I asked
the hostess
if bar seating was available. She advised it was open seating. I entered
the bar and was followed by two other groups, each of us taking booth.
One of them took a 6 top table. I watched the manager talk to the 6 top
table, then brought them menus.. he then came to my table and advised
us we couldn't be in the lounge as it was taking away from other guests
waiting for seating. I asked him why he let the other table stay, he
said he made special arrangements for them. I asked for the same
arrangements and he told us we had to return to the lobby and wait for
seating. I told him if we got up we were leaving, I had already gone to
the bar and got drinks for our table since the assist Mgr wouldn't let
us have menus or a server. The manager then left in a huff and sent a
server to us. The server was obviously upset from how he talked to her
about taking our table. This made for an extremely uncomfortable
dinner. The server did a great job and treated us well.. It was also
obvious that many of the other servers were not in a great mood...
I went to Redlobsters website and made a complaint the next morning. It
has been 6 days and I have not received as much as an email or a phone call.
I made a second complaint tonight 6 Jan 05... I have been a long time
customer of Redlobster, I doubt I will go back to them after there lack
of a response..

Red Lobster - table turning

As a server I really have little control of how long a guest will sit at a table. At lunch we are expected to turn tables in 39 mins. Which means the guest sits, orders, eats, pays and leaves within 39 mins. Red Lobster falsify employment by employer

About a year ago I had worked for red lobster in wooster an by a manager I was told I was going to b at dishwasher 4 3 weeks then I was going to be moved to the cook poisition and too my surprise after the 3 weeks I was there they told me I was going to be staying at the dishwasher poisition that which I never even applied for in the application in the 1st place it was added to my application after I was told I was going to be moved to cook in 3 weeks. It doesnt seem fair for managers or even general managers to go and tell me this and not live to what they promised to me in the 1st place and further I just talked too the district manager and he told me in his nown words that we as management have a right too change our minds. However im not seeing how telling me that a poisition that I didnt even want and wouldnt even apply for without the understanding that of which the management and I agreed too that I was too move too cook in 3 weeks. Explain too me if this really fair because I dont see the logic from this. An in my mind there isnt any. I would like a response on this situation immediately or ill report it to the better busineess bureau tomarrow when they open this is not fair too my employment right nor is it right to anybody's that has had it happened too them I speak not just for me but for anybopdy that has a similar situation.

I just quit Red Lob in Met, LA. I had been there for 4 years and followed their rules to the letter. The company claims to be so high integrity but makes no effort to rein in sociopathic managers . Some of the problems I suffered were dangerous, abusive drug dealers; rat infestation;toxic mold throughout the retaurant; but, the final straw was operating a WOODBURNING grill without ventilation! It had been leaking without our knowledge for a while and completely broke in summer 2010, to fix it would have affected Dir.of OPER.&GM's bonus so he had it Jerryrigged, poisonous smoke vented INTO the restaurant

Well, I too have had this problem working at Red Lobster. When I was first hired I was 17 years old and I talked to the managers (after having worked there a few months) about becoming a server when I turned 18. My manager was so happy when I asked and immediately said yes, I could be a server and I would be trained as soon as I turned 18. Now I've been 18 for 6 months and I'm still a freaking busser with 7 hours a week, needless to say, I've applied at a different restaurant. Don't work at Red Lobster unless you like being lied to by an incompetent, power hungry team of "managers" that doesn't require any education, or have any standards at all.

Red Lobster theft

I am very upset my son ipod was stolen from red lobster in beachwood ohio. He was seated at booth 10 on 9/13/08 and it was near closing. He went outside and noticed he had left it at the table and immediately went back in and it was gone. An employee at this location stole my son's ipod and this is ridiculous. Store 238 and the general mgr was not helpful at all. I will never go to this red lobster again - it sucks

So how exactly do you know if this was an employees fault? Maybe it was a dishonest customer who took advantage of the opportunity?

If my personal belongings were taken under those circumstances the only person I'd have to blame is myself. Maybe your son should have been looking more closely after such a valuable device?

Or maybe he shouldn't bring an ipod into a restaurant at all...

Red Lobster food quality

I ate with a party of eight at Red Lobster here in Tallahassee, Florida on October 6, 2008. The fried shrimp were tough, cold, and very small. The fondue had no meat...it was like weak cheese soup. Cheese bisquits were cold, as well, and dried out. Baked potato was very dry and tasted as though it had been baked a day or so earlier. We were all very disappointed and will not waste anymore money there. Red Lobster used to be a good, consistent place to dine...not anymore.

My crab legs or my shrimp were done, and there was a hair in my plate and when I told the waitress about it she gave us a smart attuide about it and said do you want another one I said no thank u and she said really I said yes I lost my appetite

We took my grandmother out to eat we had endless shrimp it was her birthday dinner service was horrible shrimp didn’t taste good we were there upset this was in Hagerstown md it was a table of five we always loved red lobster but never ate at this one before a lot of money for a horrible dinner

The desert is never what is displayed on the menu. Its fustrated when you can't get what you want especially after spending $61.92 for a meal.

Oct 5, 2022. Lobster, steak, mashed potatoes,biscuits arrived ice-cold. Our dog refused to eat it, even after attempt to heat. Ice cream reduced to liquid. Chocolate cake was good because how can you ruin that? Never again. We'll use McDonald's.

we had a waitress named leah she was rude had to ask her to take plates away had to ask for more water attitude was terrible like we were bothering her . being a waitress is not for her always giving dirty looks . whole experience was terrible. we always go to this red lobster never had a waitress like this before.

I was givien the wrong dip and tried to explain but Manager was unreasonable. I eat at Red Lobster at least once a week and know what I order so being told I was wrong was upsetting.

I go at least once a week and order the Parmesan Crab dip with chips and was given another seafood dip, when I tried to explain the Manager told me I was wrong and it was the correct dip. It was very disappointing to deal with someone in management that wouldn't even hear my complaint. I will not ever go back to that location. I own over 50 vacation rental homes and will be sure all my guests are aware of the service.
