I PURCHASED A DVD/VCR RECORDER NOVEMBER 16, 2007 AND IT WAS DEFECTIVE. FOLLWED THE INSTRUCTIONS TO RETURN THE PRODUCT FOR ANOTHER ONE. THE COMPANY RECIEVED THE PRODUCT ON JULY1, 2008. BUT I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY UPDATES ON WHEN I WILL RECEIVE MY PRODUCT WHICH IS CURRENTLY UNDER WARRANTY.

I have a problem with Thomson Inc., who seems to own the brand name RCA. My television does not work and has not worked since it was purchased in July. It's obviously under warranty. I have been waiting for over a month for a replacement. They continue to tell me there are none in their warehouse and they give me no time frame when they will be available.

I am considering a class action suit, are here others interested?

I purchased a RCA DVD player Model DRC282 back in March 2008. It is still covered under the warranty and I sent it in per the instructions in the owner's manual. I have yet to receive a response and I am unable to contact them via phone. I just wrote a letter to the consumer complaint (with RCA) in OK, but am not going to hold my breath waiting for a response.

If someone moves forward with a class action suit, I know there will be other interested. I've spent the last hour or two reading people's complaints about various products that have not received adequate support or even consumer respect.

I will never purchase RCA again that's for sure.
