This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

QVC advertises their "Unconditional, no questions asked, satisfaction 30 day money back guarantee" for all items it sells.
A consumer is expected to return items, regardless of reason within thirty days of receipt of the item, with the exception of live plants, and a few other perishable food items. The customer Service people do not accept plant items physically returned. The customer Service representatives and a follow-up email from QVC specifically says that" to avoid further inconvenience your credit card will be refunded in full, including S & H, but not to send back the dead plants."
This complaint is about receiving DEAD plants and plants being shipped one month earlier than advertised with each item according to the planting zone put on the TV screen for expected, proper timed delivery. Therefore having forced me to call and report many dead on arrival of plants. Always, the customer service rep. would refund my credit card and that was it. Had it not been for an additional guarantee offered by the Distributor Roberta's Unique Gardens and Cottage Farms for one year replacement guarantee which I needed to Contact Roberta's about yesterday, I would have never known my QVC account has been "temporarily closed" and I have been denied access to my account online to review. I was never informed in writing, email or telephone my account was being closed for audit.

More specifically, my account has been "temporarily closed" for audit due to "excessive requests for plant returns".
According to the coorporate office, and the President of QVC Office, I was told by both offices I must submit in writing to QVC Customer Payments my request for clarification of any questions. The QVC President Office told me that this issue will take a minimum of two months to be resolved however, they see fit.

To conclude, because I am denied access to my account on line I cannot write a review for each plant item or complain in a review about how I have been treated by QVC or to warn potential buyers of the plants I had problems with. This is the reason I am writing to your organization.

I ordered a set of Roberta's 3-Piece Jumbo Patio Gerber Daisy Live Plants and 2 of them were bad and they replaced them immediately. I now have 5 and 1 has had 1 bloom and another has had 2 blooms. I am really disappointed. The year is about over and nothing like advertised. I also ordered Roberta's 3-Piece Amarine Hybrid and none of them have bloomed. I also ordered Roberta's 1-pc Honeymoon Hibiscus 4-in-1 Better Together Live. It isn't much bigger than when I received it and has had no blooms. They said it would bloom July - October and then again next year. I am going to request a replacement.

I am also extremely disappointed in the quality of plants that I received, and I don’t even want a replacement at this point. I ordered 2 sets of 3 Gerbera Daisies which were shown to be full and vibrant on the advertisement. The plants I received were very small with only 3 leaves and even a month after planting they grew somewhat but the leaves are scraggly and sparse. As for the flowers, out of 6 plants only one produced a flower and it was so small in circumference as compared to my nursery bought plants that I wasn’t even sure it was a Gerbera Daisy. After the one flower bloomed, no others came up. The leaves are growing (sort of) but the plants just look like lettuce growing in my planters. The store bought ones are growing like crazy and are full and gorgeous and receive the same care as these so I don’t understand why they won’t grow. I will never order flowers from Roberta’s again. For the price I paid I expected more mature plants, not sprouts!

I too have had to have several replaced and or credited due to the fact they either arrive dead or so tiny they haven't any chance to survive! I would gladly return the dead plants but they will not take them back. Cottage Farms and Robertas are not nice after they have to resend replacements which are absolutely no better! I get caught up in seeing the beautiful plants after a long winter and break down and order but should know better! I get the same junk. The plants they ship are nothing like they show they ship out! Not even close! I go to my neighborhood Walmart or big box store and I have extraordinary results and beautiful plants all over my yard from them. Neither Robertas or Cottage Farms have lived up to their plants as shipped yet. I cancelled all I ordered after I already received dead plants shipped this year! I am about done ordering anything from QVC if they continuing to promote these horrible plants! Their customer service I will say is great and why I stay with them. I did send a picture of one of the dead bulbs I recieved this year so they can see what the customer actually gets.

I am sorry that you had to go through this. QVC needs to stand behind their customers. I too have ordered from Cottage Farms and Roberta's Garden. The plants that they show that you will receive are NOT the plants sent. The plants are in my eyes seedlings and I am shocked that some have made in in shipping. I have complained and am finally requesting my very last replacements. I will never order from the again! Good Luck! And thank you for posting.
