Today, I was charged $59.90 by PWE auction, and I'm not sure why. I don't know who they are, or how they got my bank card number. At first I was going to pass it off as something that I had forgotten that I'd signed up for, but I figured that I should first figure out what that 'something' was. When I googled PWE Auction, I found nothing of any products or services, just stories and stories of people being scammed by them. I've called my bank, and they're going to look further into the company, because as of right now, they weren't even given any contact information by PWE Auction. The transaction is still pending, but hopefully I'll be able to get my money back, since most stories seem to have ended in successful reimbursement when the credit card company or bank was involved. My bank's recommendation was not to even deal with PWE Auction. I hope this doesn't have to get nasty over $59.90, but wrong is wrong, no matter the price. We'll see...
