After ordering product and giving credit card number, when I was told the price, I asked to cancel the whole order. The company went ahead and sent the product and charged me. They are a VERY unethical company.

My husband paid $4.95 shipping for 10 day supply. Recieved product on 9/22/2010. Called to cancle order on the 30th. Order for $99.90 had been shipped that day. Said that I couldn't refuse order. That it would just come back to me. Said that there was no way to get a refund on the money because it was a trial. Not a straight out purchase.
So as of now . Looks like we are out the $99.90. Be SURE to cancle your order from then on. They will reship and bill you again in the next 60 days. Reacurring charges. BE SURE TO READ ALL FINE PRINT. Thats where they get you.

She aggreed and said she would get back to me soon, Not, I called back and they wouldnt answer. good ol *67 got them to answer to a woman that just barked “FIRST AND LAST NAME I told her and all she said is the superviser is reviewing it and just hung up. if it goes thru in the morning Im claiming fraud with my bank backing me and sue

Got the free trial - then they billed $99.90 on 10/20 - have yet to ship the product. I looked at order on line and on 11/10 it showed "backordered". I called and spoke to someone on 11/12 and they said it shipped. Never received it. Keep logging into the account on line and it still says "backordered". As of today, 11/28, still not shipped. Finally after 3 e-mails they tell me they don't know when it will ship - but they still have my $99.90 and they are scheduled to hit account again on 12/19. I told them to cancel order and refund money - no response as of today. I have threatened to contact attorney general -- would love to know how many other people out here are being scammed by this company!!! I'll keep checking this site. They are still advertising on TV -- they need to be stopped!

Absolutely agree!!! My husband and I are going through that exact same thing. The advertisement says "one month free" and 15 days later, they take $99.90 from your account without notice. Yes, it is stated in the terms and conditions about this (online after they take your information), but that company knows not many people read the terms entirely. The advertisement itself is false. It should read..."try it free for 14 days, then additional fees will apply." But that's NOT advertised! I emailed customer service about the misleading phone conversation, and guess what...NO response! Is that even legal? Or a form of false advertisement?
Not happy. I wouldn't refer their product to anyone.

I have not made a purhase from this company but I have fell for a similar scam (remember silent Bob). When I noticed that something was wrong, I immediately contacted the company that had scammed me and the BBB. I waited for the reply (from the company) and I sent a copy to my state's Attorney General's office and to the AG office of the state in which I was scammed. My money was refunded within about 2.5. Also prior future buys, check them out at a web site which checks out unethical sellers. The site is free & is called www.badbusinessbureau.org .
Good luck,
Larenzo

After reviewing the actual recoding of the order, my money was put back in my bank.
Let this be a lesson. I practice CYA "cover your ass” in everything in my life. So when I was requesting the free one time sample. I asked 8 times "There will be only this ten dollar charge for Shipping and handling correct?" and he would say yes. And to cover my butt completely, I asked him to repeat himself that there will be no further charges just this one time...

I hope somebody reads this and learns how important it is to Practice CYA 24-7 it’s just a way of living. I’m even thinking of writing a book on the subject.

I was really mad at Progene after ordering and getting charged but after I called and explained I listened to the customer service person and she was right I did not call in and cancel on time but she was nice enough to give me back like 50 dollars so while they might have them in the terms it is on us to read the terms so I cannot fault them completely

I've been researching a few websites including Amazon.com and the reviews are entirely either disfavorable or completely favorable. I'm inclined to believe the short favorable reviews as ghost reviews, planted by the marketers to convince the product is safe and effective. The much longer reviews seem to be the most truthful and honest, depicting the product to be a scam operations. It wouldn't surprise me, and I'm not one to dump $99.90 for a product that is considered skeptical.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! When we ordered we were charged $9.95 for shipping and when I tried to call to cancel 13 days later I was given the run around and was finally told that another order for $99.90 had already been shipped and that I couldn`t send it back and get my money back. This is a huge scam and to be honest most of the ingredients in it is something you could go to the health food store and purchase.
