ProFlowers unauthorized charges

I've become a fan of that Clark Howard money guy on CNN. I remember him talking about how some swindlers use these tactics to where once they gain access to your credit card info, they charge it once for around 1- or -2 dollars and wait for it to go through undisputed-hey who's gonna notice a dollar?. Once it does, they go in for the kill and charge away. I think this is one of those cases. I certainly feel swindled and my money was taken without my consent. The company has a catchy name, Easy Saver, which also happens to be the name of our local coupon book company.
After placing an order with Pro Flowers, I was unknowingly signed up for a reward program/membership. (if that's what you want to call it) After looking at my monthly statement, I saw that I was billed once for $1.95 then on the same day a month later for $14.95 under EZSVER [protected]. (statement also showed the transaction ID) I thought it was for my son's hair cut b/c I had used an Easy Saver coupon for the same dollar amount. But two days later, the transaction from the barber's name went through. Well then, who is Easy Saver?
I called the Easy Saver phone number and spoke to someone named "Tristin" who informed me that both charges would be refunded within 7-10 days. I then called Pro Flowers and asked why our financial information was allowed to be given out without our prior authorization. I was given some BS excuse that "perhaps the order rep inadvertently signed you up". The person I spoke to forwarded the complaint to corporate. I also told her we would never order from them again after having violated our trust. I think I'll write my own letter to corporate.

ProFlowers - free shipping hoax

Just noticed same $83.88 charged to my credit card and all i did was VISIT their website...I definitely did NOT fill anything out so how scary is that! ProFlowers - unauthorized charges

I was surprised this morning to find that my checking account had been charged $83.88 by some company named 'CMG Insiders Club.' After calling the 800# on the charge detail, I discovered it was affiliated with freeshipping.com. As with many others, I ordered flowers from ProFlowers for Valentine's Day. A notice said it qualified for free shipping. Great!...

ProFlowers - fraud

[protected] Pro Flowers/EZSVER RW Scam Discovered an unauthorized charge to my Mastercard account around 3:00 a.m. while checking my Citi account online. The account was shown as "EZSVER RW ID054584030 [protected] PA and the charge was for $1.95. I had no idea who these people were nor did I authorize them to charge anything to my Mastercard account. ProFlowers unauthorized billing

Heard all over radio and ordered a week before Valentines day. The special was a One Dozen Long Stemmed Red Roses w/FREE Ruby Vase for $39.99 and FREE SHIPPING. Turns out, Valentines day was on Saturday $9.99 - Saturday delivery, Standard Express Delivery - $12.99. Taxes - $5.43. So total was $68.40! The FREE SHIPPING was actually a REBATE from a company proflowers.com hired...and they wanted me to enter my credit card info on their site also? They (proflowers.com) failed to mention the free shipping was actually to rebate the $12.99. I have not stopped receiving spam from that company (EasySaver Rewards) since. Proflowers.com also gave them my credit card and charged me for their membership. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! All I did was click a $15 off coupon (pop-up).

I called Discover right away (what a big help - class act). Fraud claimed. I nipped it in the bud after I saw a charge for $1.95. My guess that was just a 'feeler' amount. This scam is becoming very big with proflowers.com and easysaverrewards.com (just look on this site or google).

So, the order cost me $68.40 x 2 when advertised as $39.99 each. I am an idiot, ordered 2! So now 2x the charge. You can forget about that rebate, would be caught in a bear trap! You talk about a scam! Oh, and flowers were frost bitten (black tips) and turned down the next day. BUYER BEWARE!

The only online order I had done was for proflowers.com. It offered free shipping. I was upset after I had ordered anyways because I had purchased $30 worth of flowers and the final charge was $60! They charged me $9.99 for Saturday delivery (which I missed THAT hidden bit of info until it was too late.) They also charged a separate delivery fee as well. Oh well, I thought... I needed the flowers and I qualified for free shipping, which would have taken $15 off.

Little did I know that after I made the purchase, I was directed to a link that would redeem my free shipping. After clicking on that link, I started to fill out my information when I realized that it was a completely different company that would redeem my shipping fee. Something like 'freeshipping.com.' I also realized that I would be signing up for something that looked like a membership... though it wasn't exactly clear.

Without submitting any of my information... I closed the window. I am not one to be taken advantage of... normally. I usually try to read every bit of info before signing up for anything.

Now, 2 days later... I look at my bank statement and notice a charge from 'Easy Saver' and another from 'EMI Encore Marketing.' I've been had. It is too early to dispute the charges with my bank as of yet... the final posting hasn't hit yet... but I will as soon as possible.

I added PROFLOWERS on here because if that company will allow crooked companies like that to share buisness with them on their website, I believe they are just as crooked. And how did they get my credit card information? I closed the window that was for the free shipping without submitting my information. Proflowers must have some connection to that as well.

Please help me hope the flowers come on Saturday!

I bought an orchid for 24.95 and a over priced vase for 6.99 from proflowers.com and ended up paying 50.00!

I lalready foolishy promised my friend who lost her dad the gift for this Tuesday or I would have cancelled.

They are CROOKS owned by a large company. They have been sued twice! Watch your card online for any other charges too. These online criminals are noted for this. I will go to my florist next time or send some other kind of gift! BEWARE!

ProFlowers unauthorized billing

completely unauthorized monthly billing of 14.95 from Proflowers/Easy Saver scam. Called to complain, was given the run around about how I had to have signed up and given them the cc# or else how would they bill it.. Proflowers is GUILTY of passing on my CC# to these theves for providing a non existing service. Supposedly getting a refund, but will take 1-2 billing cycles to show up.. funny how they can take money immediately, but when it comes to giving back.. will contact bank/state ag and file against both companies... total ###

This company is nothing but a mistake waiting to happen. Calling my bank on Friday and reporting the wrongful charge. I wrote corporate on their bad service and I will write every network page to let others know do not use this website or their business.

I just discovered that these people have charge my card $14.95 25 times! I thought it was a charge for my credit card, but apparently when I bought flowers or a funeral in 2009 they gave these people my card number and allowed them to steal from me every month. When I called the number they gave me a full refund right away, which tells me that they know exactly what they are doing. Imagine doing this to everyone who buys ProFlowers and even if 98% realize complain and get refunds they are still raking in free money from the rest of us. That is a hell of a penalty for not being totally diligent about reviewing my statements.

If you see charges on your credit card from these people call to make them stop immediately, call your credit card company and ask them to issue a new card (with a new number) and better yet, NEVER buy flowers from ProFlowers. They are thieves, plain and simple.

This same instance happened to me. I'm sad to say that I didn't check my credit card statements very closely and was charged $14.95 21 TIMES! I called the number they have next to their name on my credit card statement - [protected] - and without hesitation the man gave me a full $350 refund. If they are shoveling out refunds that easily, they're used to getting complaints. Why had ProFlowers not stopped this with all the complaints they are getting about this?!

this is such a fraud. I had the same problem. I only ordered flowers once from ProFlowers. I got so many emails from ProFlowers marketing me to buy more flowers. I never knew they were charging me a 14.95 monthly fee. This is absurd! I would never...authorize a monthly 14.95 membership fee to order flowers online. I will never order from them again. They said they will credit my account; which can take up to a month? That is insane. I could never figure out who was charging me until now. Fraudulant scam! Consumers beware. The Consumer Affairs person at this phone number even admitted it was a pop-up---when I ordered flowers. Wow! How are they still in business? They must be in another country!

I and my wife, have done a lot of business with Pro Flowers in the past and have sent a lot of business your way. I am now finding a "Easy Saver" bill of $14.95 on my credit card. According to what I found out it seems that now if you order from Pro Flowers you are also stuck with an unauthorized charge besides. Sorry Pro Flowers if that is the way you operate you don't want my business nor that of my wife, family and friends.. I happen to live at a large resort and if you do not correct this problem I will not hesitate to post this.

With my health problems, feel free to check on them if in doubt, I do not need the unwelcome addition of problems caused by greedy companies. I am leaving the problem cancelling my "subscription?" to you. If I get billed again forget my business, and that of others as well. Also I will order ALL my credit card companies, and those of my wife not to honor payments to "Easy Saver"

If it means anything I am 75 years old, handicaped.

ProFlowers poor quality, excessive delivery charges, fake free shipping offer

I've been married 46 years and wanted a lovely gift for my wife for Valentine's daY. Tulups are her favorites and the photo was beautiful.

"20 assorted tulips, $29.95 with free vase." Baloney!

When I at first placed the order there was a charge of $6.99 for the vase, a type of which you can buy at the "99 Cents only Store" for a buck. So I dropped that part of the order.

Even though the shipping costs added $20 I accepted them because a large pop-up box also said "this order qualifies for shipping rebate." Not so! To get A shipping rebateON THIS ORDER you have to become AUTOMATICALLY subscribed to a $9 /month service that gives you shipping rebates (NOTE: rebate takes 6 to 8 weeks to be returned to you) ONLY WHEN YOU BUY OTHER STUFF FROM OTHER COMPANIES such as Macy's and others.

The flowers that arrived were so small I thought they were miniatures. They were un-opened tulips that were so "droopy" they wouldn't stand up in our vase!

Stick to WalMart and Ralphs. At least you can see what you're getting instead of BEING GOTTEN!

ProFlowers misleading advertising and rediculous fees

Watching the science channel and saw a Pro flowers commercial with great discount for science channel viewers. Went online and placed 39.99 order for delivery on Valentines day by clicking on this special TV viewers page and putting in the special "SCIENCE" code. Wow i'm thinking I'm sure this is gonna be a great deal so I shouldn't have to worry about being screwed, after all, they assured me I was getting a great deal. Silly me for not noticing the final price in tiny the field at the top of the review page (I thought it was strange that I didn't see a price on the review page but what the heck, its Valentines day and they are assuring me I am gonna get a great deal. I will give them the benefit of the doubt.)

I get my confirmation email and my jaw drops. My GRAND TOTAL as they put it was $68.87. YES FOLKS ALMOST DOUBLE WHAT THEY SAID THE PRICE WAS GOING TO BE.

Here's what they didn't say - That shipping - Too ship flowers no less was going to cost $14.99 alone. Nevermind thye kept flashing 'THIS ACCOUNT IS ELIGIBLE A FREE SHIPPING REBATE' which just turned out to be another fishing scheme to get me to join some cost saver club they are in cahoots with, so that said club can bill my credit card for services that I will never use - and of course thye tell you that the window will remain open so that after you confirm your order you can click it and collect your rebate. See the lure? But that's not all. Enter the special fee for Saturday delivery - $9.99. Oh and of course lets compound that with a $3.90 tax. So I call them to cancel and of course they are conveniently unable to cancel the order because it's past the 7th of Feb. I asked the person I was speaking to to please justify to me the Saturday delivery fee - She couldn't. Her explanation was "That's just something they charge." What kills me is that I could do absolutely nothing about it. There was no one to take accountability. I took the bait and got hauled in.

There are some people that will say 'Hey your fault. You should have read everything carefully." You are right I should have. Screw me for willing to give a company the benefit of the doubt that for once they were not hyping a deceitful campaign to lure me in on what is suppose to be a special occasion just to make a blood sucking buck. Screw me for choosing to remain naive to the fact that there really are no more honest companies left in this country that actually have some kind of integrity.

I ordered flowers from Pro Flowers on or about 3/31/2017. At the end of the transaction it offered me $10.00 towards my next purchase and asked if I would want it. I said yes and apparently was really saying yes to Easy Saver. $14.95 was charged to my credit card account on a monthly basis after that for a service called EZSAVER. I did not notice the fraudulent charges until September 2017 (I realize I should check my accounts more often; however, I had noticed it, but had rationalized that it was a legitimate charge without looking into it.)

My bank reimbursed me for the last two charges, but I am stuck with the remaining $255.95.

I am legally blind and handicapped so I am home bound so I went to a website I saw on an informerciaol. A sales rep called me and I repeatedly told her I was on a fixed income and was home bound do to being handicapped.

She sold me on the idea that having a web based busness was perfect for me since I coild make money at home. I would have to buy a membership and pay a monthly hosting fee for my website. I repeatedly stated I could not afford to pay any more so there could not be any aditional fees. She signed me up and took my credit card info.

I was supposted to call my coath who was asigned to me when I recieved my membership kit. It took a couple of weeks for one to call me back. I was to discover my new website could not be accessed on the internet with out a gift card which I had to buy and give out to customers in advance so they could use the card to access and compleaate an order

I know how to advertise on the internet and drive prospects to my website. This month I recieved a little over four thousand visiters to my site but not one would wait for ame to process a gift card because there were many sites easer ti use. If my site could have accepted orders directly I would have made sales but could not do so under smc rules.

In order to obtain a website that can acually take internet order you must order a special site costing several thousand dollars. All of the programs smc want us to use require going out and finding them and preselling them on at a time. There is no way for me to make mony baised on this company and it desire to charge for every custmer first with gift cards then processing fee then buyin catalogs ect.

I believe I was decived and being discriminated agaist because when I complained I wased to change the web site to acomadate my handicap I was told I could cancle my membership and ouit the program. In other words told to get lost it was foolish to complain about being handicapped if it is too tough then just quit.

I dont quit and spent the last twenty years getting as well as possable when every on else gave up on me. I will go on with this mess because it is all I have. but don't try this company they just keep selling the program and dont care whom ends up loosing their shirts. There are more suckers born every day.

Well I guess all of us have been getting scammed by this Easy Saver & Pro Flowers.
My husband had gone online to place an order for Flowers for his Mom for Mothers Day, last May. I had no idea that he had enrolled in Easy Saver. Neither did he, for that matter. He had placed the order and clicked Submitt and it automatically enrolled you into easy saver! for over a year, I have had 14.95 taken out of my checking account. I had seen it there several times, but didn't think anything of it because I thought it was a ATM charge that my husband was doing at the local convience store.. we have one by our house and he goes there quite often to purchase lunch or get gas. So I never even thought about the charges... until, I was in my checking account clicked on the charge to see the detail. I saw Easy Saver. I went to the computer and looked it up and I saw RED! I contacted them thru the # listed from another person's complaint! they said that I should have been aware of it... but when I told them that if I didn't receive my complete refund, I would contact the Better Business Bureau they said it would be credited to my checking account within the next 7 days. WATCH THESE GUYS...THEY ARE REALLY SHREWED! From that point on we haven't used Pro Flowers ever again...so personaly, I think Pro Flowers should think this out...Easy Saver is are making that company lose a lot of customers!

Almost completed my order and while I was looking it over, I noticed the free vase was not showing up and I had forgotten to include the "promo" code from Rush I always use. My total at that time without the "free vase and discount code was 79 dollars and change. After entering the Free Glass Vase and "Rush" promo code my pricde went UP 2 dollars? I sent an email requesting an explanation from "customer care", received very timely replies verifying my FINAL price, but no explanation on why FREE costs more. True definition of "bait and switch"? All I can hope for is is the truth in the saying " A happy customer tells anyone that asks, an unhappy customer will tell everyone that listens"

I ordered roses for my wife on Valentines Day. They were received in a box and looked like they had been frozen as they immediately drooped down. After contacting Pro Flowers and explaining the situation without asking for a refund, I was offered a credit of $25 on the next order via a promotion code. The code is only six weeks old and I tried to use it today on another order and was turned down. Sorry, but I I'm not going back for the bait and switch again.

Three days before Valentines Day, I found out that I would be out of town that weekend. I went to Pro Flowers and purchased a rose plant in a wicker basket so my wife would receive something nice for Valentines Day while I was away. I paid a total of $63.00 for what turned out to be a scrawny little plant that isn't big enough to cover the pot it's planted in. I know that I could buy a plant like that at the local food store for 5 bucks.

I sent an email to complain and they emailed me back saying "sorry...we'll send you another plant...just let us know what you would like and where you would like it sent". I told them I would like what I paid for (the picture they had of the plant in their Valentine's advertisment). Since then I've received nothing. No plant and no more communication.

I don't believe they intend to make it RIGHT!

CAUTION with contacts to Proflowers !
The company Easy Saver, USa [protected]) is charging my credit card account since August 2017 with monthly USD 14, 95 woithout having signed an agreement with them! This is absolute criminal behaviour!
CAUTION to all person who might contact Proflowers and order a service by them. I just ordered one time by end of July 2017 1 bouquet of flowers with Proflowers and are now being cheated by Easy Saver.
The business contacts of Proflowers are not really serious. I strongly recommend not to order anything through
the website of Proflowers.

I ordered a Sympathy Basket to be delivered to a good friend after the death of her father. I paid to have it delivered that afternoon, when I knew she was going to be at home. The basket was not delivered. When I called the next afternoon about it, the Customer Service Rep called the local florist, who told her she was busy and that the delivery person had not returned yet. The Florist then hung up on the rep. The rep stated she would find out if the basket was delivered and call me back. I received no call. I called again this morning and asked them to research it and call me back to let me know if the plant basket ever got delivered. I received no call again. I called back a third time and finally got a rep who could help. He called the florist and was told the basket was delivered yesterday at two, but no explanation for why it hadn't been delivered on the correct date. At this point he promised to refund my delivery charges. This had actually been promised by the first rep and still has not occurred. Don't use Pro Flowers! They were horrible. Next time I will use 1-800 Flowers, who I have had good luck with.

ProFlowers flowers were horrible

DONT ORDER FROM THEM! I ORDERED TWO DOZEN LONG STEM ROSES AND THEY WERE DELIVERED NOT SHORT STEM, FLAT, PEDDLES FELL OFF WHEN REMOVED FROM BOX. LOOK LIKED THEY WERE STOMPED ON BY FAT MEXICANS THEN PLACED INTO A ### BOX. I COULD HAVE GONE TO JEWEL AND BOUGHT BETTER/BIGGER FLOWERS EVEN IF THEY WERE DELIVERED IN PERFECT SHAPE. THEY WOULDN'T GIVE ME A REFUND UNTIL I CALLED TWICE AND CONTACTED AMERICAN EXPRESS. WE SHALL SEE IF THEY EVEN REFUND MY MONEY BECAUSE THE INDIAN LADY ON THE PHONE COULD NOT EVEN GIVE ME A TICKET OR TRANSACTION NUMBER FOR THE REFUND/REASONING OF MY CALL... ###ING SHADY.

ProFlowers fradulant charges

Noticed two separate charges since April 2008 for $14.95 each. Vendor was listed as EZSVER and Passporttofun.
I called Encore Marketing (through research on this site). [protected]. Requested to speak with management. Rep came back and said they would call back in 24 hours. I said I'd hold (they're paying for the call). About 10 minutes later, Julie, a consumer rep said she would reverse all the charges back to April. I got a cancellation number. I also told her about this site and the others that have trashed the Proflowers.com name. I told her I would let this site know the progress and whether the charges are reversed in "7-10 days". I'll repost as soon as it happens.

ProFlowers additional charge of $1.95

My wife made two purchases recently at www.proflowers.com. Our credit card statement shows a $1.95 charge from Easy Savers. An email from proflowers.com indicates that my wife signed up for some sort of service during the checkout phase and that's what the charge is for. One problem is that who would remember exactly what they may or may hot have accidentally signed up for a month ago... We can cancel but the $1.95 is lost. While that's not really enough to worry about, $1.95 times 100, 000 customers can be quite a bit of money...

Searching the internet has brought up enough evidence to indicate to me that this is a scam. I'll do what I can to cancel the charges but we'll see what happens.

ProFlowers late delivery & order total error

Placed an on-line order on 11/20/08 for flowers to be delivered on 12/2. Confirmation promptly received, but was charged $9.99 for "free clear standard vase".
Email received late in day on 12/2 from ProFlowers CEO that "there has been a change in the shipping schedule. The item will now be arriving on 12/3." He offered free shipping on my NEXT order.
I called ProFlowers on 12/2 after receiving this email and demanded she cancel my order, which she said she did.
Now I wait to see if my card will be credited. Plus, if any other mysterious charges appear on my credit card as noted in complaints on this ComplaintsBoard.
Not happy at all with this company.

ProFlowers easy saver/ezsver rw ripoff

When you purchase flowers on-line from Proflowers, your account goes to a company called ezsver rw, or easy server and they proceed to siphon relatively small amounts of money from your account. The amounts are similar ($14.95 in my case) to common purchases and you tend not to question them if you shop online frequently.

They got greedy, or stupid, and both companies hit my account for the same amount on the same day. I caught it, on Thanksgiving weekend, before the bank paid it, but in checking my previous statements, they took me for $44.85, not a lot, but if they're doing this to hundreds or thousands of people it is.

I will NEVER purchase another thing from Proflowers! For Mother’s Day, I sent an arrangement of roses that looked beautiful in the photo to my mother and my mother-in-law. It cost me $65 for each and when they both got their roses, they were practically dead. My mom said that the roses were delivered on Saturday and on Tuesday she had to throw them away because they were totally dead. After talking to my mom, I then called my mother-in-law and asked her about her roses and told her to be honest with me. She said she wasn’t going to tell me because she didn’t want to hurt my feelings but since I was asking, her flowers lasted only about 2 days. When she got them, they had already started to die. I was so embarrassed! And now this EZSVER RW has charged my credit card $14.95 for 2 months in a row even though I cancelled the account/service after I found out about the dead roses. I’m calling my credit card company right now and I’m going to have them start the charge back process on this. DONT USE THESE COMPANIES!

I got scammed, too. Talking to Pro Flowers, I was informed that in fine print that the charge was mentioned if you checked a box to save $15 on another purchase. Well, I'll never shop at ProFlowers again.

ProFlowers easy saver

After placing order through Pro Flowers in September of this year, I began to see unauthorized charges on my checking account of $1.95 for September, $14.95 for October and $14.95 for November.
I called called the number listed on the Pro Flowers website [protected] and asked for a complete refund. They assured me it would be effective immediately.

I will let you know if this happens.

I ordered flowers online through Pro Flowers. I kept getting spammed by them after that, but I never participated after the initial flower order. Then I got my credit card bill, and an unauthorized $1.95 charge appeared for Easy Saver with an 800 number. I checked on Easy Saver before calling the number- apparently they give you a hard time and often won't refund all your money, so I canceled the card and considered myself lucky that it was only $1.95. Pro Flowers had given my card number to Easy Saver without my consent, unless THEY ARE also Easy Saver. Con artists.

Easy Saver charges started showing up on my account first $1.95 and now $14.95. I did not authorize this company to charge my card. I don't even know what this is! I ordered flowers using Pro-Flowers. I see that is a common thread. I'm done with ordering from Pro-Flowers and any other company that allows this company to leach off of unknowing customers!

I have made numerous orders from your company. Every time I have has some sort of issue, whether it be w/ the flowers, vases, $ always something. Your employees are terrible and I keep getting 20 dollars off for my inconvenience..that's just to keep me coming back and here I am w/ another issue. Trying to use a 20 dollar gift card for my mother and nothing but issues. I have called twice today, tried 3 times online and I am getting so frustrated, Basically ready to forget it all and go back to my other place I order from. Please Pro Flowers at least take more time to teach your employees properly.

I am writing to your company (ProFlowers) about a recent complaint with Easy Saver which seems to be aligned with your organization. I am now very leery about ordering flowers with your company as a surprising membership to Easy Saver appeared on my billing. I have since spoken to Visa and a representative from ProFlowers about this issue (Visa has credited me with these charges and Easy Saver has assured me that my service with them will be cancelled within 1 to 2 billing cycles...SO for 3 months I am now having to deal with this unwanted and unwarranted service.) Apparently your ordering connected me with Easy Saver and by filling out the pop-up menu which I thought was necessary information for your company (ProFlowers), I was erroneously made a member of THEIR services.

Could you please look into this matter? Can't it be made clearer on your website that these are 2 distinctly different companies with 2 distinctly different purposes?

We had recieved a 1.95 charge for Easy Saver. The next month it was there again now this time it was 14.95. This went on for several months until my wife caught it. The Easy Saver offer was never accepted and or agreed upon by us. I lodged 2 complaints on 06-01-09 one at 7:55 and 8:25 pacific standard time. The girl on the phone was aware of the preditory practices from Easy Saver and apoligized for thier way of business and assured me the situation would be cleared up. My membership will be immediately cancelled and all unauthorized payments will be refunded to my credit card. I should be getting a call, a hassle free call, from someone within 48 hrs. I would like an interest credit for the 6 months that my money was taken on the whole amount also put back on my credit card.

Its certainly is a shame because my wife liked the items that were ordered. I would like to know how rampant this complaint is and how many times you had to give money back. Practices like this shed a dim light on a bright company. Our future purchases with your companies will directly depend on HOW WELL this matter is resolved and how sincere you are in keeping us as customers.

ProFlowers scam

I thought I would order a surprise delivery of flowers for my wife so I went on to proflowers.com after hearing a lot of their advertisements on the radio. When I chose the flowers that I wanted, it tells you that your order is eligible for free shipping. So, I clicked on the free shipping button and then I am asked to fill out some information including my credit card number etc. I am thinking I am still in the proflowers website. After spending too much time on it, I gave up and didn't even order the flowers for my wife. I was confused with all of the fill-out processes. So, no flowers and a waste of more than fifteen minutes. Fast forward about a month later and I see on my checking account statement a debit for 82.96 from Freeshipping.com. I thought, "WHAT THE HECK?" After some searching on the internet I see that other people have been scammed by them via Proflowers. Supposedly, this "business" helps defer shipping costs. 82.96 and I didn't even buy flowers. So, I called the number (it was on the checking statement next to the company name) and I told them exactly what happend, that I didn't know I had signed up for anything and didn't know I was enrolling myself into any service. They told me I would receive a refund in 2-5 days. Well, three days have passed and I don't see a reund yet so time will tell. I reported this to my bank and to Visa. Buyers beware! These guys are just charing you for some amount hoping you won't notice it on your checking statements. I hope they find these @&*@&^$^ thieves and shut them down.

My mom received flowers for her birthday from relatives in England using Pro Flowers. The flowers (roses) arrived VERY droopy and never came out of it. When she complained, Pro Flowers issued her a credit. When used the credit to order different flowers (Shower of Flowers), not only did she not get what she ordered, NONE of the flowers in the bouquet were what was listed in the Shower of Flowers description. Again, they arrived very "droopy." We'll see if they come out of it. They are issuing another "store coupon" which she will use with one of the sister companies, and hopefully be satisfied with the product. We will never order flowers from there again!

My boyfriend ordered flowers from these people for Valentine's Day. They left the flowers outside in the below freezing weather, so they were not blooming. It took them a week to bloom. My boyfriend complained and got a refund. We then started getting things delivered to the house. Jewelry, Jupiter Jack, and now membership in two different saver clubs. After calling the bank we find out that all of them are affiliated with Tele Brands. DO NOT order or have anything to do with these people.

My husband ordered flowers for me on www.proflowers.com and today I noticed charges being deducted from my bank account (unauthorized). The debit said something like ... "EASY SAVER" for $14.95 both in July and August. I actually did a search for that dollar amount when I discovered more than one charge.

Anyway, I called [protected], got a woman named 'Donna' on the phone, managed to keep my composure and so did she. She was extremely pleasant and kind and was more than willing to drop all charges, refund my money back into my account, and said it'd take anywhere from 7-10 business days.

As mad as I am that my husband was tricked into not reading the fine print and just clicking to wrap up ordering me flowers because he was scammed, it's nice to know that if you do call these ppl, that they will be pleasant if you are pleasant to them. AND, I called first thing in the morning - as soon as they open at 9AM, so maybe that helped a bit too.

Unfortunately, as beautiful as the flowers are from www.proflowers.com, NEVER AGAIN!

I orderd a $19.99 arrangement and by the time the billing was done it came to $32.97. They came from FedEx in a box mind you. The quality was terrible. Wilted and the flowers were small and lasted all of 3 days. They told me I qualified for a shipping rebate so I checked it out and it was through another company that charges a monthly fee and when I tried to connect with them I got nowhere. Never again will I order flowers from ProFlowers. I learned my lesson real quickly. Just wish I knew before hand about the lousy service and products..

I can only add to this list. My daughter's boyfriend ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter on their anniversary. He lives in Germany. She is visiting in Utah. He just called me because there was a charge of EUR1.30 on his credit card and his bank was suspecting fraudulent activity. He had also received an email from ProFlowers stating his credit card had been declined. I called ProFlowers and spoke to "Minder". At first she claimed no knowledge of the EUR1.30 charge origin but the relented when I kept probing. She tried to explain the Easy Saver action and offered to call to have the "membership" cancelled. After I hung up I checked for Easy Saver Rewards on line and found these pages. I called ProFlowers back to express my outrage. I am surprised no one has been able to stop this company's practices after all these complaint. Please call the Better Business Bureau or file a complaint on line.

IF you have every bought anything from proflowers.com or are planning to buy anything from them BEWARE. heres what they do. After you place an order at proflowers.com, they will send you an email offering $15 your next order. BUT THERE IS A CATCH. in order to receive that they send you to a website where you enter your email address and zip code. HERE IS THE CATCH. what your actually doing is signing up for easy saver rewards, which will charge you 14.95 a month.

i was charged 86+ by easy saver before i realized what was going on (yeah shame on me for not paying better attention). There is hope however. If this has happened to you ASK FOR A REFUND. Easy Saver has a customer service number: [protected]. If your not given an option to be sent to a customer service rep. hit ZERO and you will be transferred to one.

Proflowers service and product were intially fine, they knowingly participated in a scam on us. My wife went to the Proflowers site to order some flowers for Mothers Day. Apparently she entered her email for a 10% discount and this automatically signed us up for a $15 a month charge from easy saver. It is not common practice for the mear entering of an an email address to constitute a contract. Also, we neither knew we were signing up for such a service nor knowingly agreed to it. In short Proflowers helped Easy Saver scam us. I've let Proflowers know they have thus not only lost our business but we will make a point of spreading the word to family, friends and via the internet.

Sincerely,
Darren and Tracy McCammon

I have been billed by Easy Saver Rewards (EASY SAVER [protected] PA) for $14.95 per month since making a purchase on Proflowers.com. Easy Saver is apparently associated with ProFlowers and I inadvertently signed up for their 'services' while placing my order. They claim that I requested to be a member when I replied to an email after placing an order. I do not recall replying to any email or asking for the service. Obviously, their business practices are disingenuous at best, since I, and many others, have been fooled by this blatantly unethical business practice.

I have discovered that I was not the first one.How is it possible that they keep going on with their "business".

This charge appeared w/o explanation and unauthorized, initially for $1.95 in April 4, 2009 It then appeared @ $14.95 on May 5. I just noticed it this month. I did a search and found this site that others had the same problem. I called Proflowers and informed them to take me off their customer list and about Easy Saver authorized charging. Tomorrow I will contact Easy Saver. For those of you who complained on this site, I really want to thank you. Someone should be put in jail! You buy the flowers from pro flowers then they offer you free shipping. You get transferred to the free shipping site and they sign you up to receive a rebate on the flower shipping. About two months later only to discover that you've signed up to a membership that dings your credit card or debit card monthly regardless of purchases. I didn't catch it till the second month. They said that one of the charges would be refunded. $12.97. Not the amount of money but the idea. A total scam.

ProFlowers unauthorized charge to my credit card

After purchasing flowers through ProFlowers.com, a third party company, easysaverrewards.com, had an ad for $15 off next purchase through ProFlowers. Thinking it was just a simple coupon, I clicked on it, and it automatically sets you up with a membership through easysaversrewards.com without your consent. They billed me $1.95 that showed up on my bank account. Good thing a toll free number also showed up on my account so I called it to find out what is going on. I got a Customer Service Rep at Easysaverrewards and she said that the $1.95 was for a 30 day trial and after that will be billed $19.95, a monthly fee that I agreed on. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Yes, I clicked on the ad but I DEFINITELY DID NOT authorize the membership. In spite of all that, the Customer Service Rep was very nice and didn't give me any trouble, she canceled my membership so that I won't be charged the $19.95 fee every month. Good thing I often check my bank account or else I wouldn't have notice the charge of $1.95 on my account. And on top of that that a membership fee would have been charged as well.

Please be very careful and aware of these kind of ads when making a purchase online. As a consumer, I believe it's also a SCAM!

Big scam!, buy flowers was fine but at the end it says you qualify for a $15 credit on order or a shipping rebate. Bullcrap! After order complete it says confirm your free shipping or rebate and then the fun began, . Next thing you know you click where it tells you and then bam you have just signed up for a huge EASY SAVER REWARDS scam. They automatically charge you a dollar to paypal or credit card what ever you are using and then a $ 14.95 charge monthly. Don't click and stay away. I will tell you that the next day I got a call from paypal to let me know there was unauthorized transactions on my account and long and behold EASY SAVER REWARDS tried to withdraw two seperate transactions, 1. for $300.00 and 1 for $100.00. Stay away and best advice stay away from proflowers and go elsewhere.

Just as everyone else listed above, we have all been scammed. When you call, they will agree to give you "2 months" back. If you keep telling them you aren't satisfied, they will continue to increase the months. BE STERN AND CALM and continue to push for ALL of it back. Of the 34 months that I wanted back (yes, I know and I admittedly said I'm an idiot for never noticing the charges - really, I thought it was a subscription to one of my husband's magazines)... of the 34 months ($508.30) that I wanted back, they were refusing to reverse the charges for the full amount. Once I said that I will contact Better Bureau's AND Customer Affairs and have them shut down, they immediately agreed to reverse the charges! I also mentioned that I Googled them and found SCAM all over them. I'm not waiting on my money to be refunded.
So, what do you mention when you call and they refuse you?
* They are a SCAM
* You will contact CUSTOMER AFFAIRS and BBB
* You WILL have them shut down
... you will get off the phone angry and shaky, but at least you'll feel like a boss ;)
Good Luck Friends!

I've been using ProFlowers for years and never had this charge till last Mother's Day - it's been a year now. Unbelieveable, after doing research to find that I've been charged 14.95 for an entire year - this is unacceptable. To think that they have such a scam on the website is crazy. I've never saved any extra money from the ProFlowers website NOR have I ever received anything from this company to reflect anything worth the $14.95 a month. BBB here I come!

I purchased Strawberries for my wife for Valentine’s Day 2010. I had them sent to her at work. I logged on and transacted this purchase on or about FEB 2nd or 3rd of 2010. The Shari’s Berries transaction was not posted to my checking account until FEB 16th – BUT an EXTRA charge from EASY SAVER service (whatever that is) showed up the day after I conducted my online transaction, and then each month for 8 months, until I just noticed it today (SEP 2010). I called EASY SAVER and took a phone trip to India where the first person I spoke to told me he would refund my $14.95.
I told him that there were 8 charges of $14.95 plus a charge of $1.95 and I wanted the entire $121.55 refunded. He said (nicely) that he could only refund $89.95. I asked – why would I accept that? I wanted the entire amount back – so he got his supervisor and his supervisor agreed to refund the entire $122.55. Now I have to wait and see if my $$$ get refunded.

I have received two different charges for 16.95 per month for the last eight months...total of $271.20 charged to my sons credit card. When I called [protected], they said they would look into it and someone from their investigation team would call me back with in two weeks. No one ever did. I called them back and got another person trying to speak over me and tell me what a great deal EZ Saver and American Leisure had for me. When she finally let me speak to a supervisor, the gentleman told me they had confirmation by the four digits of my telephone # that authorized them to remove this money from that credit card. I have never heard of such nonsence. They now are telling me that they will request special permission for me to hear this conversation they recorded of me giving authorization. I wonder how long that will take? In the meantime my son that is paying his own way through college is wondering if these charges will just start again at any given time. I am completely disgusted.

ProFlowers fraud!

Proflowers is an active participant in a scam/fraud……..
Proflowers uses misleading and unethical advertising practices that end up charging your credit card a monthly ongoing charge when you click on the free shipping offer or $10 off offers. It is VERY deceptive and done ON PURPOSE.
I recently ordered some flowers for my wife for her birthday from Proflowers.com. A couple of months later I realized that I was being charged $14.95 a month from something called EasySaver…. Proflowers signed me up for this bogus/fraud money saver club thing. When I emailed Proflowers, I was told that I agreed to be signed up when I purchased the flowers. I really did not see this coming from what I thought was a legitimate business.
These practices should be illegal...
I will NEVER buy from Proflowers again and no one else that I know will either... I will see to that.

I noticed a charge on one of my credit cards for 1.95. At first, I thought it was a short billed item on a purchase that I had made. Now, when I check online, I see that a charge of $14.95 has been charged for the current month. I have no idea who these people are and decided to check on google.

I bought flowers some time online and can't imagine this billing is from Proflowers. Thanks for the insight! I will do what I have to.

It’s important to write this so that others can view the dishonesty of these people.

ProFlowers beware

I can't believe that all I did was order a bouquet of flowers for my mom before Mother's day through proflowers.com and applied (through a 3rd party website) to get a rebate on my shipping, then to find out all of a sudden I'm in this "club" charging me $14.95 every month!

This has gone on since May 08 and it's Sept and I just realized they are doing this behind my back.

I have also rec'd overdrafts from my bank at $35.00 a pop!

I just composed a stern, but professional letter to Easy Saver customer service and plan on doing a follow up call tomorrow morning. They WILL cancel this "membership" immediately and the WILL give me all my money back - period.

I can't believe this - I am shaking my head that this has happened to a lot of other innocent people too. Unbelieveable.
